The best bakery & Restaurant my family and I have been to during our 2 month trip in Porto. Owners Ricardo & Joanna run a very clean and neighbourly shop. We patron daily and have tried everything in here from bake goods to their food. They have a full liquor bar and their espresso/ lattes are done to perfection. Buns and pastries are made daily and fresh. We've had dinner / lunch here many times. Their pizza is fantastic, their dough is crispy and soft and the pizza overall is not oily so you don't feel heavy after. Their fries and fracesinhas (my hubbys favorite - traditional Portuguese "cheat day" sandwich stuffed with meats and covered in sauce and cheese) is not too greasy (comparatively) and really good as it doesn't leave you with heart burn compared to other places we've tried. If you're lucky enough to come by when the fresh bread or buns just come out of the oven it would take you to gluten heaven lol. Come here on a football game night and the place is packed and full of life a great way to experience local life in Portugal. Call ahead if you plan to sit down for a meal to make sure there is a table or if if it's late call to check if they are open later than the posted hours. Prices are reasonable ! A definite must try!
