One of our best days in Sesimbra was coasteering. Our guide Juan was exceptional. He was so professional and friendly which made the experience safe and thoroughly enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone with a sense of adventure!

Excelente promenade avec les dauphins ! Après un peu d'attente (1h30 a les chercher), on en a eu par 10aines, tout proche. Accompagnateurs très sympa, en plus hors saison ils nous ont pris juste nous 5.
Félicitations au capitaine pour la conduite douce du bateau....

Superbe équipe sympa et professionnelle, si vous avez envie d'un trip en canoë dans la réserve naturelle de Sesimbra ou aller voir les dauphins au large en bateau, c'est chez eux qu'il faut aller!
Ils est même possible de les contacter pour un transfert depuis Lisbonne.

Bem... Incrível. Receção impecável, a paciência por esperar o grupo inteiro estar pronto para seguir na aventura (canoagem). Excelente organização. A simpatia extrema de todos os colaboradores. A pronta disponibilidade em ajudar no que seja. Não dou 5 estrelas, dou 10! Qualquer atividade que farei no futuro tentarei que seja sempre convosco. Os meus parabéns!

We had a great time kayaking on the sea. The staff was super friendly and the trip was very nice. The beach we visited for the break was supurb. Definitely a recomendation.

Fui fazer Coasteering com a Vertente e amei! São super profissionais, transmitem uma segurança incrível e principalmente muito boa onda (5 ⭐️ é pouco para os classificar).
Sem dúvida recomendo a toda gente a vir experimentar uma actividade com eles!

What a day. Totally out of the blue.... valentine present from the better half even though I was sceptical with it being February and raining. What a day Coasteering for 5 hrs.. great fun, great guys and 1000% will be back. Climbing, jumping, swimming and we saw so many dolphins!! Great day.. thanks all and see you soon..

We took a boat trip to see dolphins on 30 august. It was absolutely incredible. A lot of dolphins around a boat. For 25-30 minutes we were enjoying their present. After we continied our voyage aroung caves and beautifuls beaches of Sesimbra region.
Service of the company was on the higl level, the boat was in time, the capitane Ricardo was very nice and communicative. He gave us a lot of informartion, so during 3hours excursion we didnt feel bored. Thanks Ricardo!

Nous avons fait la sortie pour voir les dauphins : c'était génial ! Nous en avons vu très vite, et le personnel était exceptionnel.
Quand à la sortie en kayak, le prix est un peu cher pour ce que c'est (50€/ pers quand nous ne sommes pas en groupe). Bonne expérience tout de même

La ballade dauphins est juste géniale. Demandez Capitaine Ricardo : The best. Les falaises après, magnifiques. Cabotage + Dauphins. Une très belle journée à faire plutôt le matin à cause de la chaleur.

I went on a kayaking tour had an amazing time! The staff are super friendly, well-organised and helpful - our guide Artur was great! Definitely coming back to try some other activities - most likely their scuba diving course :)

Nous avons participé à l'activité Kayak avec guide. Nous avons adoré. La guide était super et les explications très intéressantes. L'activité est assez physique car elle dure environ 4h mais c'est très agréable.

Het was als gezin onze eerste ervaring om te snorkelen in de open zee. We hadden het geluk dat wij aks gezin alleen waren. Het werd een privé training. De instructeur en de kapitein waren zeer aardig en behulpzaam. We hebben een hele leuke tijd gehad en veel genoten. Ook de boottocht ernaar toe en terug was leuk. Vertente Natural is zeker een aanrader!

Dolphin Watching was awesome. We've seen dolphins pretty close, we sailed back along the coastline. We had the opportunity to swim and we got a piece of cake (traditional Sesimbra cake), which tasted really good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lifejackets were available for everyone. This is definitely a recommendation when you are in or close to Sesimbra.

Atividade de kayak na costa de Sesimbra. Foi uma manhã bem organizada e com pessoas experientes.
A meio da visita fizemos uma paragem na praia da Ribeira do Cavalo.
A parte final, regressa ao porto de Sesimbra, foi a parte mais difícil devido a ventos fortes.

It was amazing, we first wanted to book with another organization. But since it was not easily accessible and no direct contact. we didn't do that. We have no regrets because this organization is great. We were the only ones at 9.30 am. So we had a private tour. What we didn't expected at all. That makes it so cool. And we had a great guide called Pedro. To admire beautiful scenery. And praia de ribeira do Cavalo, and the caves of sesimbra

Amazing adventure very well organized. The professionalism of the team is superb. Safety is the top priority of its adventurous tours. The guides are amazing. Super nice people and always checking if everything is ok for a great time. The activities are recommended 100%. Loved it

Awesome coasteering! the views are great, the team is super friendly and the track is marvelous. Definitely worth to come back and try the other tracks. I recommended for anyone trying for the first time or if you are a pro.

Très bonne expérience de kayak en famille le long de la baie d'Arrabida proche de Setubal. Nous avons pris un forfait famille à 35 euros par personne pour une sortie en mer de 4h avec des kayaks 2 places. Passage dans des grottes si le temps le permet et arrêt sur la superbe plage isolée de ribeira. L'accueil est cordial et agréable.

Top activiteit! Coasteering gedaan vanochtend. Super team, zeer professioneel en service gericht. Goede uitleg. Spannend om te doen en absoluut een aanrader. Als het te spannend is, is er altijd een plan b om een kleine jump te doen in plaats van hoge jump... Morgen gaan we snorkelen bij hetzelfde team, nu al zin in!

Antonio, of Vertente Natural, is a great ambassador for Sesimbra. I visited Lisbon with little notice, and was desperate to go snorkeling. Antonio responded to my messages promptly and worked very hard to accommodate my request. In fact, I contacted many businesses in the area and his was the only one that found a way to fit me in! He led a great tour (with the wonderful Leora!), and I am so grateful I found him and was able to have this fabulous adventure. I highly recommend Vertente Natural!

We were a group of 4 and had a great time in the 2 boat rides we did with Antonio, one to the west to see the caves and one to the east towards Setubal to see the Dolphins. On both rides Antonio gave us a very in-depth knowledge of the Area and was very interesting and easy to listen. Very well worth the money, the best excursion I have ever had. Thanks Antonio.

Fantastic day with Antonio and Luiz from Vertente. Friendly, helpful and professional throughout, but also kept up the banter of the 8 ridiculous blokes struggling hungover up cliff faces - perfect combo. The location is also perfect - insanely attractive coastline. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend again, and Coasteering as a brilliant activity. Those hangovers didn't last long...

Al voor de 2e dag op pad met Artur van Vertente Natural in Sesimbra Portugal.. Wat geweldig!!!! Gisteren een boottocht, vandaag een privé tour in het prachtige natuurpark. Een vriendelijke en gezellige gids met verstand van zaken.een echte AANRADER!! We hebben gelijk voor maandag weer een boottocht geboekt.. Naar trojka en de dolfijnen.alles is mogelijk.. Een aantal tour operators kon ons niet helpen..(bv "Badger" ) omdat we maar met 2 personen waren.. Bij Artur en Leonore geen probleem. Professionaliteit, vriendelijkheid en de liefde voor hun land en hun werk staan voorop !! Daarna eren bij Carina van "the Spot"..een klein betaalbaar eettentje een paar deuren verder maakt je vakantie dag compleet. Wij hebben genoten !!!!! Dikke kus voor allemaal.. One of the best days of our Portugal trip! Great team, great people! Coasteering was soooo much fun and also adventurous with the team of vertente natural. Vertente Natural (VN) offers some of the best, if not the best, outdoor experiences just outside Lisbon. Their unique location ensures a variety of activities ranging from rock climbing and rappelling to coasteering, canoeing and also boat tours. As a regular costumer, my favorite activities are coasteering (traversing the coastline by climbing, rappelling, swimming and jumping from cliffs), speleology (there are several great sea caves to explore in the area of Arrábida Natural Park) and canyoning (VN organizes 2-3 days expeditions to north of Portugal where you find incredibly fun and beautiful rivers and waterfalls).
If you are looking for something with less adrenaline, VN also does boat tours with great chance of dolphin watching and trekking in Arrábida Natural Park in which they provide a wealth of information about the local biome thanks to their local knowledge.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a taste of adventure in sea/land or an environment educational tour near Lisbon, I highly recommend Vertente Natural's activities. João, Jorge, José and their team are very professional, attentive and amusing.
