The best part of our trip to Lisbon, hands down! We loved this tour - we learned so much about the culture of Lisbon and Portugal, tried such a variety of foods, and just generally had a lovely time. Rosa was our guide and she made the tour feel like we were all a bunch of friends hanging out for a few hours - it was a ton of fun!! She was so knowledgeable, sharing cultural context, historical information, discussing context about the details we saw along our walk. We got way more than we expected on this tour - HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We hope to return to try a different one of the Taste of Lisboa tours in the future!

The downtown-Mouraria Food & Cultural Walk was outstanding and Rosa did an amazing job explaining the neighborhood and the impact it provided for the culture of Portugal.

My wife and I had a fantastic time on this Food Tour! Our guide Miguel was great. It was a perfect balance of learning about Lisbon while sampling a wide range of amazing food & drinks. We highly recommend this tour for others visiting Lisbon for the first time (like us), or on a return trip.

This tour was a highlight of our delightful trip to Lisboa. We walked with Miguel and Anna for many hours through the back alleys of local neighborhoods tasting wine, cheese, fish, sandwiches, soups and deserts like locals. Both our tour guides were entertaining and very knowledgeable about Lisboa's history and food. The time flew past as we tasted and chatted.
If you want a tour that focuses on Lisboa from a local's perspective, this tour is a must! Go early in your trip as there are many ideas that will spring out of your trip.

Madalena was an absolute delight. She was knowledgeable and informative. The places we went on our tour gave us a broad view of the Portuguese food & drink, and some history of Lisbon thrown in on the side. I highly recommend Madalena and the Taste of Lisboa Food Tour.

My husband and I booked this food tour as part of our honeymoon, and it was the best way to start off our trip in Lisbon! Madalena was our tour guide, and there was one other person on the tour with us. Madalena was kind, fun, and very informative about the food and culture of the city. The tour took us to 7 stops, and at each stop we tried a different food and heard more about the rich culture of the city. There were so many highlights, but I loved that we traversed the city by foot, ate a ton of food (but really not too much), tried dishes I would not have tried otherwise (all of which were delicious), and learned a ton about the city we were about to spend 3 days in! I would highly recommend taking the this tour early in your trip, and come hungry! Madalena did a great job of guiding us while also immersing us in the city life! Obrigada!!

David took my team from work on an excellent tour of the city, away from typical tourist locations. We visited the mouraista, learned all about the Fado and Portuguese culture. Highly recommend.

12/14/2019

Joining Taste of Lisboa Food Tour during my visit in Lisbon was a highlight of my trip! Our guide, Catherine, was not only very knowledgeable about Lisbon's history, the local food specialties, but she was incredibly passionate and enthusiastic. Her energy was contagious and it really made our whole group engaged and excited every bit of the way.
I would highly recommend Taste of Lisboa to anyone wanting to visit some local restaurants, bars and cafes that one may not otherwise find unless with a local!

11/14/2019

Jose was a fantastic guide. Just enough information to be interesting but not overwhelming. The stops were wonderful and it was such a great way to learn about the city. Highly recommend.

11/14/2019

Jeden Cent wert!

11/14/2019

Madalena was our guide to a fun and interesting food/walking tour of Lisbon. We visited several restaurants and tried all kinds of cuisine - all the food was delicious. Madalena was a delight - super friendly and full of info. The other guests on the tour were great also - highly recommended.

11/14/2019

We took a Lisboa food walking tour with Catarina. We were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour that day, and had an incredible tour with her. She was energetic, fun & knowledgable. The food was fantastic, as was the company. My only criticism was that there really was not much walking. It was a very short walk to each place. A bit more walking may have helped me be a little more hungry at each stop. Other than that, great!

11/14/2019

We had David as our guide on this tour last week. He was great with plenty of local knowledge, took us off the beaten track, that part was great.
As for the food and wine! The portions were minimal and on a couple of the stops we were only offered water. We cannot recommend this trip.

11/14/2019

Absolut a burner! Our host José was doing a super Job! His passion and knowledge was impressive. The food stops a very good choice.
See you next time!! Obrigada!!

10/14/2019

Taste of Lisboa was a fun & delicious way to learn about Lisbon. Our guide, Rosa, was bubbly with lots of passion for her home country. Every stop on the tour was delicious. I highly recommend this tour!

10/14/2019

Overall I was disappointed with the food experience on this tour.
To start with some positive comments, the tour guide José was very good, and the tour route itself is very interesting. I would rate those elements positively, however I took this tour as primarily a food tour, which I found overall inadequate and hence the lower rating.
My sense is that at many of the stops there is little effort and care put into the preparation and quality; the vendors know that you will not likely ever be back as repeat business. The tour company should require that several of the restaurants up their game.
As I have Portugeuse family, who cook and provide family meals, I was really looking forward to this experience.
Two of the seven stops were good quality; the pata negra cured ham at stop 1 was delicious, as was the pastel de nata at stop 7.
The Bifana sandwich at stop 3 consisted of one paper thin slice of pork in a huge stale bread bun. Most of the participants discarded all or part of the bun, which was 98% of the sandwich. And the cheese portions were meagre. Not a good stop and a place that obviously doesn't care about quality.
The samosas at stop 6 were the most unimaginative samosas I have ever had. Very bland and uninspired hamburger/beef. Not a good stop.
The codfish cake at stop 2 was ok, along with a bland uninspired rice.
All to say, at 75 Euro I expected much better quality. This is not a foodie experience at all. I rated each stop on 10. At the end of the tour, my average rating was 4/10.
In fairness to the tour company, they offered me a free tour to compensate for the lacking experience. They suggested that my views are a result of food preferences, however, poorly prepared food is poorly prepared food. I was not able to make the time for a second tour, and in any event it would not change my assessment.
If one is not fussy about food quality, or not into home cooking, this tour might be fine. If you like to cook, and enjoy fine food, I could not in good conscience recommend this tour.

10/14/2019

Absolutely brilliant! Thank you to our wonderful host Jose who went above and beyond to inform and delight the group. He is such a lovely, genuine soul. The thing that I liked the best was that it didn't feel like a paid tour. It felt like spending time with friends and gave me the opportunity to go places and taste food I may not have on my own. Highly recommend!

10/14/2019

Miguel was a great host for this tour and a wealth of knowledge on Lisbon. The food and drinks were incredible and the pace of the tour was perfect. If there was one thing that I didn’t gather from reading about the tour before, it’s that I still wanted a small dinner the night of the food tour. I thought I’d be too full, but as it turned out, I still had room for tacos at 9 that evening.

It was about one year ago that I visited for the first time and fell in love with Lisbon. A year later, I am on my way back and I have two new tours with this group already at the top of my itinerary list. Yeah, Lisbon will do that to you - and so will Taste of Lisboa. I chose the group after thoroughly digging for reviews and appreciating the description and focused experiences offered. When we arrived and joined in, we were not disappointed. This group knows Lisbon, knows its history, its people, and with open arms, seriously, like a family friend shares its pride, its food and its space. My sister and I were with Rosa on a trek across Lisbon's roots in a food and cultural tour walk. What we learned made books and brochures and even language and dictionaries come to life. Nothing beats a well-informed guide, but add to that one who is open and caring with passion and lived learning for one's city, demonstrated respect for its people (and visitors) with honor for then and now. The tour was well planned, interactive and centered on our feedback. We went all over, took our time and had our fill. Yet nothing felt rushed or slow and samples were plenty, diverse, and delicious. And even though our group members came from all over, through our own diversity, we were encouraged into friendship of a certain kind that later when a few of us happened to run into each other at another location exploring at our own will, we were genuinely excited to catch up after one another's wellbeing in a warm connection of place. From the tour itself, I can say I gained a better sense of place and direction, appreciation and understanding of time, change and traditions, and the courage to explore more on my own. In such a huge and rich city, it always helps to know where to start. Meeting up with these likeminded individuals fueled curiosity, provided a reference point, and let me see behind the scenes at top and little-known Lisbon stops all without a put-off touristy feel. I absolutely remember this food tour in Lisbon as an exceptional taste and much more.

09/14/2019

I did this tour on my first day landing in Lisbon. Wow! Food was excellent as was the knowledge provided by our guide. It was a wonderful combination of food, history and culture. We walked through neighbourhoods that I would not have seen had I not done the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

08/14/2019

We loved our food tour with madalena! A lot of information, great food in great places and great wine or beer. We would recommend that tour to everybody who is in lisbon

08/14/2019

This is a fantastic tour and worth your time and money. We started with the espresso and chocolate cake. It only got better. I highly recommend this tour. TAKE THIS TOUR.

08/14/2019

C’est un parcours extraordinaire et inoubliable!!... surtout parce que quelqu’un de la place te fait découvrir son coin de pays avec beaucoup de Passion pour son métier!!

08/14/2019

Although this review was for a tour taken 1 year ago, it does not diminish how enjoyable it was. My wife and I love the neighborhood we visited and each tasting that was provided. Our guide Caterina is a young lady, but her passion presenting her home city is refreshing. A lot of history in each neighborhood and also a present perspective of a young adult in this city. We very much enjoyed this cultural taste and history.

08/14/2019

Fantastic and delicious food tour. Highly recommend it. Do the tour at the beginning of your stay in Lisbon to get your bearings, and that way you'll also know where to return to get good food and take more photos. Our guide also shared her excellent cultural and historical knowledge :)

08/14/2019

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Tour mit einer supernetten Begleiterin, die uns einen guten Einblick in die kulinarischen Besonderheiten und interessante Informationen zu den Stadtteilen gegeben hat.
Absolut empfehlenswert!

08/14/2019

Really fantastic tour of the city as well as the delicious food within it. It was more of a cultural tour than we were expecting which was a great surprise. Highly recommended.

08/14/2019

I did this tour a while ago (September 2017), and I can honestly say it was one of my best travel experiences! I did the market tour with cooking class and it was fantastic!!! Very small group, nice visit to a local market, informative instructors (I still use my little table top ceramic grill to thrill dinner guests with delicious linguica), professional kitchen for the class, unlimited wine for our group lunch, and relaxed atmosphere. Next time I’m in Lisbon, I will definitely do again. If I could I’d add photos...

08/14/2019

A great start to our visit to Lisbon. Guides were knowledgeable and fun, food was great, and the walk was the perfect cure for jet lag! We had so much food we cancelled our dinner plans.

08/14/2019

This is the best way to get to know Lisbon!
Knowledgeable, fun and delicious food. We were with four friends from Holland who can recognize quality; And we have no doubt. Very much recommended!

08/14/2019

We loved this tour! Our guide Jose’ was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and how it related to the cuisine. We visited great restaurants that were the places the locals visited. This was one of the highlights in our visit to Portugal! Thank you so much! We give this tour our highest recommendation!

08/14/2019

We did this tour Labor Day 2018. This tour is the perfect introduction to Lisbon food and culture. Madalena introduced us to several delicious dishes and shared interesting cultural info as well. We highly recommend booking this tour at the beginning of your Lisbon vacation as it really gives you an introduction to the local food. Our group was small so we were able to hear easily and interact with the other people on our tour. Madalena is the perfect guide. We could tell that she loves what she does. She was available at the end of the tour to answer any questions. We got an excellent fado recommendation from her. This tour is simply the best!

08/14/2019

On our 2nd full day in Lisbon, we met our guide, Madelyn for our tour. It was 4 hours long, & outstanding. There were 7 stops, each with great "samples" (large!) of foods & drinks. Madelyn also shared a lot of info on the area, the history of the foods & culture. At the end, we were happily stuffed...& richer in our appreciation for the city and its culture. HIGHLY recommend!

08/14/2019

This is one of the best things I have booked to do on holiday! I took the Downtown-Mouraria Food & Cultural Walk and Rosa was a wonderful guide! Both the food and wealth of historical and cultural information were a great way of introducing me to the city! I cannot recommend this enough. Book it!

08/14/2019

Fantastic tour, highly recommend. We went to some great places and our guide was so well informed and made the experience one never to forget. I hope we get back one day and do it again.

08/14/2019

We participated in several food tours during our travels. The Taste of Lisboa was the most interesting, entertaining and educational. It was a bit off the beaten path...which was refreshing. I wish we had done more and when we travel overseas again, we will certainly book their tours.

08/14/2019

This was our most fun day in Lisbon! Great food, lots of stories and a great way to walk by quite a few different places. I highly recommend!

08/14/2019

I have done this tour twice and recommended to several friends as well. I have done many food tours and this one is my favorite! I love how they weave history and culture into the food. And the food is delicious! I would recommend doing this early in your visit so you can get oriented and get some good tips on places to go. Thank you!

08/14/2019

In 2016, for our 40th anniversary, we decided to return to beautiful Lisboa (our favorite city!) to celebrate; and the best way...with Taste of Lisboa. This was our third tour; in May 2015, we did both the Campo de Ourique and Mouraria tours. The staff of Taste of Lisboa excel - not only with their knowledge of the city and its history, but especially in finding the best places to experience its unique flavors. I wish the company existed when we first visited, way back in 1996! We would have acclimated to the city a lot sooner.
We specifically took the Ourique tour to discover a non-touristy area of the city. It is a small, very pleasant neighborhood off the beaten path where you can really experience the warmth and friendliness of the Portuguese people. Of the two tours, it's easier to walk as it is mostly flat and there are no steep climbs. The market area is relatively new, smaller than Ribeira, but just as good. It felt like our own Beacon Hill and North End neighborhoods in Boston. The tastings are quite different than Mouraria. The next time we return to Lisboa, we'll be spending more time in this lovely area.
We've been on the Mouraria tour twice...yes, things do change and it is worth going again. It is a challenging walk up and down the hills; stairs and sidewalks/alleys are not always even. For the first time, we took our Leki poles and for us seniors, it does make a difference. We were able to keep us with the "Boston Eight young-uns" who were also on the tour. Miguel was terrific, as Filipa always is, introducing us to new favorites as well as old.
We know we have made new friends in Lisboa, a city that can be overwhelming. If you have limited time, bring your walking shoes and see the major sights, but don't miss taking one of these tours! They tend to go longer than expected, mostly because of the warm ambiance created by the participants. Come hungry, relax and enjoy, it's well worth it!
P.S. BTW, we've been in Lisboa on 15 different trips … we think this is absolutely the best of the Food tours offered!

08/14/2019

I cannot think of a better way to get to know a city! Caterina was one of the best tour guides we have ever had on any tour! She was enthusiastic ,passionate and extremely knowledgeable about the culture, history, and foods of Lisbon! Our time with her, and the group was so enjoyable! She was also quite accommodating for a couple of people in the group who had food allergies and prearranged different tastings at some of our stops. I highly recommend this tour!!

08/14/2019

My partner and I did this food tour in May 2018. It was informative, fun and most of all tasty! They also were very considerate of dietary requests. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

08/14/2019

Even though it was raining heavily on our tour day, it didnt stop us to continue the tour as it was planned. Our tour guide was perfect. She gave us very useful tips about the city and the food. Mercado tour is a must to do.

08/14/2019

My wife and I did this excellent tour on our second day in Lisbon and we loved it.The guide was very informative and we packed in a lot of establishments -and eating-into the tour. It was so good we would do it again next time we are in Lisbon.

08/14/2019

Awesome food and drinks. Met a lot of great people in our group which made the tour even better. Such a great perspective on the history of the city and different parts of the city. Rosa's passion for the history of the city and the foods brought the city alive. Having David along also added a great touch to the tour. Truly recommend the tour.

08/14/2019

My partner and I decided to try a good tour on holidays. We were not disappointed! This was one of the best activities that we done in Lisbon.

08/14/2019

My husband and I loved this food tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable not only about the local food but also about the history of Lisbon. They also were super accommodating to me and my vegetarian diet. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about the local food and history of Lisbon. It was a lot of fun!

08/14/2019

One of the best choices of our whole visit to Portugal! Marciela was an amazing tour guide, the food was fantastic, she had personal relationships with the small shop owners, and she was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and goofy - everything a group of ladies could ever want out of a tour!

08/14/2019

My son (aged 12) and I did this tour and it was the highlight of our stay in Lisbon. Very friendly, knowledgable guide who took us to places we would never have discovered ourselves. Delicious food and drink throughout. Watch out for the chilli with the samosas though! Cannot recommend it highly enough

08/14/2019

My husband and I took two separate food tours with Taste of Lisboa in June of 2018 and enjoyed both. We also took two other food tours from another company and Taste of Lisboa surpassed the other. I, as a female, wanted to support a female owned company and I was not disappointed. We also found ourselves retracing the Mouraria route and returning to the mussels restaurant on the Ourique route before leaving Lisbon. I recommended this company to four friends who will be in Lisbon in September 2019 and they booked tours with Taste of Lisbon.

08/14/2019

This was one of the best tours we have ever done. David was incredibly knowledgeable and had wonderful stories filled with the history of the areas we went to. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour

08/14/2019

Our Taste of Lisboa Food Tour was a perfect combination of food, drink, culture and welcome. Our favorite part was the snacking, drinking trip through the birth place of fado music. We've done food tours all over this world and Taste of Lisboa is among the best.

08/14/2019

08/14/2019

My wife and I had great experience with Taste of Liboa. We took a walking food tour of Lisbon and cooking class. Shared our cooking class with a couple from Garway Ireland. We are from Portland Oregon. Had alot of fun. Walking tour was excellent -- great discoveries. Can't go wrong.

08/14/2019

Great learning experience. Wonderful guide. We learned neighborhoods, foods, and saw city sights that were fantastic. This was a great intro to Lisboa and Portugal. Memories of this experience will last for a long time.

08/14/2019

Great guide, interesting area BUT very disappointing from the food side. Canned sardines, salted cod croquettes, etc. Better tarts at Belem. They seriously need to improve the food to live up to the name and concept.

08/14/2019

The downtown/Mouraria food tour literally marked my experience in Lisboa. I don’t think I would’ve loved the city as much if I hadn’t seen it from my tour guide’s point of view! The explanation of history was amazing, the food and wine we tasted was incredible. We also had a great group of people touring which added to the experience! Love the intimate feeling. Highly recommend!!

08/14/2019

Very recommended. We had a great guide, good destinations, incredible atmosphere and the whole tour went smoothly. We never felt uncomfortable, we were not asked to do anything we did not want and felt safe and cared for.

08/14/2019

Fantastic tour! We loved the walking portion to all of these unique places. Definitely a “back door” of Lisbon!

08/14/2019

Best food tour I've ever been on! Our guide truly loved her city and sharing it with us. The interactions with locals were great, the food was amazing, and I left with a list of places I wanted to explore in more detail.

08/14/2019

As someone who has traveled to 70+ countries and done my fair share of food tours, Taste of Lisboa makes one of my favorite excursions. The guide was beyond knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all our questions thoroughly, was entertaining and engaging. He was genuinely passionate and his enthusiasm was infectious. The variety of food we experienced was well worth the money and the walking tour gave us a good understanding of the area. I highly, highly recommend to all.

08/14/2019

Ana was our guide for our Lisbon tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Very knowledgeable, patient about our endless questions, friendly, and well informed. She took us to places tourists don’t know about where the foods were delicious!
When you go to Lisbon, please make sure you book a tour with Taste of Lisboa. You will not regret it.

08/14/2019

This a great way to learn about the culture of Portugal through the food. We wanted to learn about the history of Portugal but didn't want to do some cheesy walking tour with a huge group of people. Instead, we chose the Taste of Lisboa food tour. We had a group of 8 people who we went around the city sharing about 6 small meals and drinks with. Our tour guide was great. The meals were all amazing and we definitely went to some local places off the beaten path that we would not have discovered otherwise. I highly recommend to anyone!

08/14/2019

My trip was a gift from friends who had been just before me and who had such a wonderful time that they insisted I go and set the whole thing up. Having never been on a food tour I had no idea what to expect. It went so well I ended up booking another food tour when I continued onto Rome.
I took the Downtown-Mouraria Food & Cultural Walk which it looks like they’re now calling the “Lisbon Roots, Food & Cultural Walk”. It. Was. Amazing. Our guide Rosa was friendly, funny, and created the perfect environment to explore this old quarter of Lisbon. The food was extremely varied (meats, cheeses, breads, fishes, sweets, coffee, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks). They also had substitutions for people who couldn’t have certain of these (let them know in advance!).
I had found navigating Lisbon on my own a bit of a challenge in the days prior but once I met up with the tour and Rosa everything went so smoothly and it really was the best part of my trip - I’ve recommended it to every friend since.

08/14/2019

Awesome experience of Lisbon.. name lived up to the experience. We felt we got a true taste of the city! Fun group and fun tour guide!

08/14/2019

We had a really great time on this tour! Rosa was a fantastic guide, engaging and fun. We really felt like we saw parts of the city that only locals knew. Highly recommend!!

08/14/2019

Francisco was a wonderful guide to all things culinary. As a chef himself, he was able to give us details that were interesting and entertaining about Portuguese food and it's origins. He also had amusing anecdotes about the history and culture of his hometown. The food items we tasted were wonderfully varied from cod to pata negra to samosas. We had a lovely time, learned a lot, and thoroughly enjoyed the other members of our group.

08/14/2019

This was one terrific experience, both educational and perhaps just slightly decadent! The range of tastings (both food and libation), establishments, and experiences, was rich and varied. It took longer than anticipated but every minute was a delight. The crowning component was our guide, Madalena. Her experience and most importantly her enthusiasm was delightful and contagious. Our entire group (7) had memorable and fun day. The area of Campo de Ourique is a bit off the beaten tourist path but is rich with hip and creative establishments not to be missed. This will be the most memorable experience of our entire vacation.

08/14/2019

My wife and I had a wonderful experience during our Taste of Lisboa food tour. A great mix of interesting and delicious food tastings and history and culture of Puerto Rico. Highly recommend.

08/14/2019

08/14/2019

This was a wonderfully done tour, showcasing the local and connecting the dots among culinary and historical, cultural aspects of Portuguese history and daily life in this charming city. Rosa was genial, articulate, and sweet, willing and able to answer any questions and offering a thoroughly engaging and intimate view into her native city. Delightful and highly recommended. So recommended, I actually took the time to write this review :)

08/14/2019

My family and I went on the Taste of Lisboa Food Tours and had an absolute BLAST. The tour covered more than just food, but history, culture, and architecture. Each stop was delicious and introduced us to a different part of Portuguese culture. We had a range of ages on the tour from 14 up to 75. Each stop had wine and a non-alcoholic option. It was great that the whole family could partake. I fully recommend this tour and have told multiple friends and co-workers to make a reservation!

08/14/2019

My wife and I completed both of the tours that were available at the time: the Trendy Market, Food and Cultural Walk and the Lisbon Roots, Food & Cultural Walk. It's difficult to choose a favorite between the two, because they were both excellent and the tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable about the city.
Take the trendy market tour, if you are more interested in sweets over savory but there is still a nice balance between the two. However, if you are more interested in experiencing local Portuguese cuisine as well as a brief history of the city's culture and street art then I would recommend the Lisbon Roots Tour.
Both were excellent and you can't go wrong with your choice! Great company with fantastic tour guides!

08/14/2019

We had an amazing time on our tour, we saw and tasted things we wouldn’t have found on our own. We’re absolutely going to do another tour when we return to Lisbon!

08/14/2019

My wife and I enjoyed the tour very much. Definitely recommend it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and authentic.

08/14/2019

Lovely couple of hours in Lisbon. It was everything a food tour should be - our guide introduced us to excellent delis and eateries and taught us much about local food traditions and history. Come hungry, as the food was also plentiful. Well worth the money.

08/14/2019

Our food tour of Lisbon was by far the highlight of our trip. Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a joy to spend time with while she helped us understand the history of Portugal and specifically Lisbon. The best part was we didn't feel like typical tourists visiting establishments everyone else did. We have recommended this food tour to multiple friends since.

08/14/2019

My wife and I did this first thing when we got to Lisbon. It was amazing! Francisco was very knowledgeable in the city and the history! And the food! Oh the food! We were taken to 7 amazing places to eat and drink. We really got a feel for local culture. We would both definitely recommend this to anyone that is a first timer in Lisbon or anyone who just wants an adventure!

08/14/2019

I loved the food tour. The food we tasted was all delicious and the guide was lovely and knowledgeable. It exceeded all my expectations.

08/14/2019

We absolutely loved this food tour that we took In November. It was our first time in Lisboa and what a great introduction to Portuguese food and culture. We liked the variety of places we went to and the fact they were off the beaten path. Both the variety and ample serving of food and drinks never left you hungry. Walking through the different neighborhoods was a beautiful experience besides an opportunity to walk off some calories too!

Amazing insight into Lisbon and its delicious cuisine. We went back and visited our favourite food sites from the tour numerous times during our trip! Would recommend to anyone heading to Lisbon!

I loved my tour! I learned so much about the city and the food culture with the bonus of finding some terrific restaurants to have dinner!

My husband and I try to do a food tour whenever we travel. We still talk (3 years later) about this food tour in Lisbon. We had a fantastic guide, the city tour itself was informative, the food was delicious (and plentiful), and it was SO worth the value. If we ever make it back to Lisbon we will absolutely be booking this tour again!

This is an excellent tour to not just get to know the foods of Lisbon but also to get a great sense of the city, learn to get around Lisbon and to find great places to come back to later on your trip. Highly recommend doing this early on your trip if not day 1.

We have done 2 separate food tours with them on 2 different trips and loved them both. My wife and I make a point to do food tours in every city we go to and Taste of Lisboa’s tours are outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone — great food, great value, knowledgeable guides!!

Highly recommended!
You stop by shops, bars and restaurants where tourists seldom go, with centuries of history in their walls and local delicacies on the table, lead by a young, but very professional, local guide (the lovely Rosa in our case) that has a wealth of information about the food you eat and the neighbourhoods you walk through. What's not to like?
