Me and my friends had a nice time on a Tour with Estevão from Portugal Farm Experiences. This is a different way of getting in touch with local culture and having a unique experience. I recommend everyone to Book any of their tours! I am sure all are good!

They did a fantastic job from start to finish and Clara the snail farm owner was a sweetheart. We made the ride out to the farm an adventure with all the knowledge of the city and the country side, pointing out the olive farms and funny bits of the culture. The farm is sandwiched between picturesque mountains and slightly above a small town. You learn all about these delicious little creatures and then have a homemade Portuguese lunch with the snails as the star, accompanied by wine and the freshest fruits. This is a must for the adventurous foodies out there!

The snail tour was exceptional and so unique. We learned so much about the farm and process. The farmers that maintain the snail farm are lovely and make the most delicious meals!! I would highly recommend this tour

The snail farm experience is exceptionally unique. I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in nature. The farmer is fantastic and you'll hear a lot of interesting stories beyond the snails or the farm. It's definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

They took us to a beautiful vineyard outside of Lisboa where we had a great time tasting wine, looking around, and learning about wine. Fun talking to, humor and no awkward moments ☺ would highly recommend this experience. And the wine was great too☺ . Thank you for a great day!

The farmer is social, passionate and hard worker! He made this place so comfortable for guests. It started with a learning experience and afterwards a long and big meal at a cute spot up a hill. You also get a big box of the shiitake mushrooms which you picked yourself. Muito obrigada!

This review is more for the excellent customer service that the Portugal Farm Experience offers, moreso than the experience itself, as we unfortunately did not get to attend any of the farm experiences. This was going to be a highlight of our honeymoon. My wife and I have always wanted to learn to forage and love eating mushrooms. I had been following Portugal Farm Experiences on Instagram for a while (check it out, they have great posts and really shows how cool the adventures are), but none of the experiences really caught my eye until I saw the Mushroom Foraging option near Lisbon (where we were staying). It was a perfect match. Signing up was so easy, they arranged a car to pick us up at a nominal fee, and their customer service was very responsive with all of my questions. Unfortunately, we were not able to attend at no fault of ours' or the farms (I blame climate change). Luckily they gave me a complete refund and if I ever return, I totally plan to try again.

Super nice experience! Booked a private tour for a birthday anniversary. The host was a great, communicative person, who shared his knowledge about growing crops, what means 'organic', the benefits and challenges of having such a farm. After a couple of hours outside, we had an amazing lunch, while warming up close to the fireplace. Definitely recommend and will visit also in the summer :)

I highly recommend Portugal Farm Experiences and especially the wine tasting experience. We were three couples on vacation in Lisbon and wanted to see also the region around the city. The wine tasting experience was just perfect for that. We had a fantastic time exploring the vineyards, learning about the production process and the history of the producer, and of course also tasting the wines. Catarina, our guide, did a fantastic job showing us around and teaching us how to evaluate and compare different wines. We had a blast! It doesn't matter if you are a sommelier or a amateur like me. Also the booking process with Portugal Farm Experiences was super easy and smooth! We are looking forward to try one of the other experiences they offer when we are back in Portugal! See you soon :)

My mother and I booked an olive farm tour, and it was wonderful from start to finish. Estêvão was an engaging and genuine guide, telling us his story and that of his family, truly making us appreciate the precious rural cultural of Portugal. This was only surpassed by the incredibly friendly couple whose olive farm we visited! The gentleman farmer was so friendly, inviting us to get our hands dirty harvesting olives. Then we toured a old-style olive processing plant, where we felt welcomed by the men working. On the way back to the farm we made a few stops where Estêvão and the farmer showed us a few other olive species and cork trees. Finally we enjoyed a lovely meal with the couple and Estêvão, delicious traditional fare, including dessert! I really can convey how welcoming and engaging the entire experience was. We felt like family.

Did the Madeira Premium Wine Experience and it was great! Lots of information about Madeira wine and the history around it. Tour guide was very informed and the tour was well-organised. It ended with a tasting plus a discount to the shop. Definitely would recommend!

Our winery experience at Quinta Do Sanguinhal from the beautiful drive to the unexpected pastel de nata treats was amazing. If you want an intimate experience where you even get to meet the matriarch of the winery, choose PFE. Catarina, the tour guide, was so attentive, knowledgeable, and even a bit silly—dropping bits and pieces of fun facts about the wine and the estate. This definitely wasn’t just a destination; it was a whole experience.

What better to deeply experience a country than getting to know it's countryside, it's food and it's traditional way of living? Portugal Farm Experience has it all, coupled with a great service and simpathy of the guides and owners. I love these "off the beaten track" experiences, and totally recommend it!

Today, I went to the shiitake farm which is only an hour away from Lisbon. We experienced pretty much everything about production from handling logs for mushrooms to grow on and harvesting them in the farm. At the end of the day, we had a very special Portuguese shiitake brunch made by the farmer's wife in the backyard. Tonight, I will cook some of these fresh mushrooms for dinner!
