Ice creams are good but the staff is absolutely not nice not polite and they would prefer to handle the Uber Eats before all people waiting outside without even explaining, or giving a time frame. This is business with no heart and no manner.

Shame that it doesn't really have a sitting zone, you have to go to the garden outside.

Best ice cream in town! A little queue is just a tiny trade off for the gelato, after all the staffs are very patient when it comes to choosing the flavor.

All the flavours are incredible and made from 'real' ingredients (you get delicious pineapple fibers stuck in your teeth!)
The queue out the door can be a little daunting at times but it moves quickly and is definitely worth the wait.
Pricing is unbelievable for the quality and quantity you receive.
Staff are fun, knowledgeable, and love what they do. Music can sometimes be a little intense but with such little seating (4 small stools), you're probably only in there for a few minutes and they're in there all day, they can listen to what they want!

Ein wirklich tolles Eis, welches in kleinen Bechern gereicht wird. Man kann verschiedene Sorten auswählen und was am Anfang in Sachen Portion klein erscheint, stellt sich oftmals dann doch als ordentliche Portion raus.
Von allen Urlauben bisher ist dieser Eisladen mein absoluter Favorit!

We went there 3 times in 2 days that's how amazing it was. The staff speaks Portuguese as well as English which was nice. Some of the best gelato I've ever had. I wish we had more time in Lisbon so we could get more.

Tried the mango and the strawberry (was already on a bit of a sweet treat overload from all the food in Lisbon!) and it was delicious. Really small shop with a good environment. Definitely worth waiting in a bit of a queue.

This ice cream shop rose to popularity with American tourists and other foreigners thanks to somebody feed Phil on Netflix and it made the ice cream seem better than it actually is. Don’t get me wrong, the ice cream is good, it just doesn’t have a wow factor and it is too sweet which in some flavors doesn’t let the actual savor come through. There are better ice cream shops in Lisbon but still not bad

After tasting Santini and Amorino, I have to say this Nannarella is the best in Lisbon. In fact, I had one of the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life here. The cheese and pear flavour was bizarre but I loved it!

There are ALWAYS queues here and there is a good reason. Well two really. 1) The place is quiet small 2) More importantly I think this is the nicest ice-cream I have ever tasted. Price is reasonable but don't try to pay with a non Portuguese card. They only accept Portuguese MultiBank cards. Bring cash and a taste for ice-cream :)

I highly recomend coming here. My family and I happened upon it our first night in Italy and no other place has compared in price, food quality, and just over all expierence. I would reccomend the fried artichoke and the 4 cheese pizza. We ended up eating here 3 times over our 10 day stay!

Simplesmente delicioso.
O preço qualidade consegue derrotar tantas gelatarias.. Por três euros pedi um copo médio com 3 sabores. 3 porque quis três! Porque de facto pode se pedir toda a quantidade de sabores.
E a qualidade de gelado? Eles fazem questão de deixar bocados de fruta por exemplo para sabermos que é artesanal e testarmos a matéria prima dele.
Voltarei sempre que estiver perto.

Wonderful gelato in Lisbon! Very yummy and friendly staff.
PROS: My girlfriend and I shared a grande gelato with strawberry, pistachio, and chocolate flavors. It was quite delicious, creamy and tasty. I would say the price was pretty reasonable at 3.50€. The staff was friendly, could speak English, and was able to answer my questions about the gelato flavors available. If it is a hot day in Lisbon and you are craving something sweet, I would highly recommend coming to Gelataria Nannarella!

Delightful traditional Ice Cream shop. Great variety of flavours and each one as delightful as the last. Can get very busy with quite long lines, but the wait is 100% worth it. Hazelnut and coffee falvours are my personal favourite combination. There's a daily special for everyday of the week that is always a solid choice if you are unsure what to choose.
once you have your ice cream you can take a very short walk to the park in front of the Assembly of the Republic where you can find a number of benches to sit on.
Nannarella ice creams a re truly outstanding and should be considered alongside the very best ice creams available anywhere. Not just in Lisbon.

If you like ice cream this is a must in Lisbon. Probably one of the best if not the best gelato i've ever had. They have 2 daily feature flavours on top of their long list of regular flavours so we went back everynight for the whole week!

Delicious ice cream! We came here twice during our time in Lisbon. We tried the Chocolate, Salted Peanut, Cheesecake, Pistachio, Coffee, and Stracciatella flavors. They all were tasty! My favorites were Coffee and Cheesecake. Definitely recommend!

Sono andata appositamente in questa gelateria, così osannata nel programma "Date da mangiare a Phil" (visto su Netflix). Risultato: attesa infinita, gusti più che normali, nulla di esotico o particolare...che dire: delusione completa! Il buon gelato preferisco gustarlo nelle ottime gelaterie della mia città!

The gelato is outstanding! It really reminds me of the great gelati I’ve eaten in Roma. I just score it 4 because I arrived at Nannarella today (16/12/19) at 1pm and they were still closed (they were supposed to be opened from 12). That is really sad and I hope the owner is aware of that and fix it.

Nannarella ist wirklich ein Highlight wenn es um Eisgeschmack geht! Eine riesige Auswahl an Sorten und Specials zu jedem Wochentag lassen das Dessert-Herz höher schlagen! Leider hat das Lokal kaum Sitzplätze bzw. gemütliche Sitzecken - dies könnte man bisschen ansprechender gestalten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich (mit drei Personen bisschen zuviel naschendes Personal) - insgesamt ein Besuch wert! Probiert wurde Nocciola, Stracciatella und Himbeere - alles sehr gut!

Some of the BEST gelato I’ve ever had. An actual hidden gem tucked away on an unassuming alley serving up some of the most unique gelato flavors we’ve had. I loved the basil, and the bitter almond ❤️
Do go here if you want to see a different side of Lisbon, with even more hipster and colorful pops of character than Bario Alto!

Ice cream was good, the queue not so much, made worse by the guy who was wiping down already clean surfaces instead of serving the ever growing queue of customers. There is no shade outside so you can be standing in direct sunlight for 15 minutes. The ice cream wasn't worth the wait unfortunately

Nice little ice cream shop on the way home. First time I’ve had whipped cream for topping, very creative and nice touch! One of the best ice creams I've ever had! Worth the long walk here :)
I tried coffee, caramel, dark chocolate and cheesecake, and they were all amazing.
I especially loved the cheesecake one, which they only have on Fridays.
Prices are more than reasonable (2.50 for small, 3 for medium, 3.50 for large and 4 for giant), and the portions are quite generous.
If you're in Lisbon and in the mood for some gelato, come check it out. You won't be disappointed

Gelados muito bons, à italiana, que justificam a fila por vezes à porta. São bem servidos, com os sabores que uma pessoa deseja. Um copo pequeno de 2,50€, pode ser servido com 14 ou 17 sabores, tantos quanto uma pessoa desejar (algo que não aconselho, porque simplesmente deixa de sentir os sabores individuais).
As novas gelararias são espaços agradáveis, mas a original na Rua das Flores não é um espaço propriamente simpático para se deixar ficar......daí as 4 ☆ e não as 5☆....

Uma verdadeira gelateria italiana. Provavelmente os melhores gelados da cidade, com sabores variados e natas frescas. O staff é simpático. O espaço é pequeno levando a maior parte das pessoas a ir comer o seu gelado no jardim em frente, que, devido à forte afluência, parece uma lixeira a céu aberto. Recomendo 100%.

This is the best Gelato shop i've been to, not just in Lisbon but ever, and i'm a dad so i've been to a good few. Not only are the staff super friendly and helpful and let you try whatever flavours you want, but they heap the ice cream up so you literally couldn't ask for anymore. Obviously it taste amazing. Eat said Gelato down the road in the local park. Could Nannarella help Lisbon deal with the massive amount paper cups left over flowing from the small wooden bins in the area though ?

The final stop on our Lisbon-Ice cream-Walk. Very charming vendors, lovely interiour and very, very nice ice cream. Great choice of flavours and different cones to choose (if you don't take a cup). Prices are absolutely reasonable, yet not good value/cheap (which is not to be expected for artesanal production anyway). We were happy to have left the centre of town (which is really a bit over-crowded) for our pleasant stroll, which was more than rewarded by our final stop at Nannarella's. Very pleasant experience in every regard!
PS: my fellow tried Basil (Manjericão) and LOVED IT. He's Italian, so he is qualified to judge! ;-)

Great place to taste Italian gelato, wide selection of tastes with a good balance between creams and fruit sorbets. Seasonal and daily specials are available. Friendly staff and very good quality and fresh ingredients. Limited sitting space in this hole in the wall ice cream shop, no worries as a garden with benches is only steps away. Totally recommended for a sweet stop for authentic gelato.

Au cours de mon voyage à Rome, j'ai visité plusieurs restaurants qui m'ont déçu. Si bien que j'ai fait quelque chose que je ne fais normalement pas: rester collé sur mon coup de coeur, Tonnarello et son restaurant soeur, le Nannarella... J'ai lu plus bas ou ailleurs le propriétaire dire que c'est deux restaurants distincts... Come on! Assumez-vous c'est exactement (EXACTEMENT) le même menu. Ce n'est pas plus mal: Le Nannarella vous offre exactement la même expérience, mais avec un achalandage un peu moindre. C'est donc pour le mieux. J'éviterai de réécrire ma review, déjà dit pour Tonnarello, cliquez sur mon nom pour voir la critique complète!
Sachez toutefois que vous serez ici entre bonnes mains!

Very yummy but rich! Go for a size small if you have cream based ice cream flavors and would recommend trying to get more than two flavors - 1 cream based and two fruit ones or something mild because otherwise very very sweet! Delicious gelato but a bit rich!
