For me this is the best Ginginha of Lisbon. One employee told us that it could be, because this Ginginha is not so heavy (it has less sugar but more alcohol in it). It tastes a little bit like Amarena Cherry but not so sweet. The others we tried at Lisbon tasted more like strong alkohol with a really sweet taste.

Does not taste like alcohol at all! The cherry liquor is sweet and very tasty! The chocolate cup gets refilled once you e had your shot as it’s a small container. Both were ~€3. Very easy to get to, right next to the station!

Minibar para tomar una ginginha. Merece la pena probar una, está buena, especialmente la tomada en vaso de chocolate. No olvides que te rellenan el vaso (tomas 2 chupitos) por lo que no te comas el vaso tras beber el primero. Lo peor es que el sitio es excesivamente pequeño, situado en el hueco de la escalera no dispone ni de baños, mesas, terraza ni comodidad ninguna por lo que si hay mucha gente la experiencia puede resultar agobiante.

Tiny hole in the wall just before you head up the stairs to the streets above. Get the ginja in the chocolate shell! Not only do you get two shots (one to try the liqueur on its own and one to try with the shell), it's really tasty! Makes climbing all the hills a lot easier :)

Ginginha.. ein sehr leckerer Shot, am besten mit einem Pasteis de Nata oder Pasteis de Belem geniessen. Aber wenn ein Ginginha, dann hier, mit dem Schokoladenglas, das man gleich essen kann. Nur so ist es das Original.

Très typique. Pas de vitrine tape œil, mais un concept hyper sympa. Liqueur portugaise servie dans un petit verre en chocolat, extra... Je recommande

Läuft man zu Fuß vom Rossio in die obere Altstadt, kommt man zwangsläufig an dem Laden vorbei. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Lädenin der Altstadt von Lissabon hat der hier ausgeschenkte Ginjinha keine Kirschen im Glas.

The staff was incredibly rude today (27/02/2019) at lunch time. It was passed 12pm and we just asked in a friendly way if the shop was open (because the door was half open). The woman behind the counter responded in such a rude way that we decided not to wait for the shop to open.
A atendente foi incrivelmente grosseira hoje na hora do almoço. Já passava de meio-dia e nós apenas perguntamos de maneira amigável se a loja estava aberta (porque a porta estava aberta pela metade). A atendente do bar respondeu de forma tão grosseira que nós decidimos não esperar a loja abrir.

Nulla da eccepire, un esperienza che va vissuta. Non si può lasciare Lisbona senza una tappa in questa ginginheria. Certo, sono pressoché mono prodotto e lasciano a desiderare per ordine ed estetica del locale, ma il bello è proprio questo.

Coup de coeur pour ce mini bar. Accueil vraiment chaleureux. Même en français. Le ginginha est très bon. Je vais devoir y retourner pour me le faire servir, 2 fois, dans une petite cup de chocolat.

Our favorite ginginha stop. Nice balanced flavor. Not too sweet. Less cinnamon notes than A Ginginha. I like that they serve in glass and not plastic.

Very quaint and charming bar serving the traditional Gingnha liquor and Port. Was my daily ritual post dinner to sample the various types of Port. There is a red - dry or sweet, white - dry or sweet and a rose. Very helpful lady behind the counter.

Ginginha im Schokobecher, der ein zweites Mal gefüllt wird. Unbedingt ausprobieren. Einer der Orte die man in LIS besuchen sollte. Prost!

Lovely little hole in the wall that serves the traditional portuguese cherry liqueur served in glass or the chocolate cup. You can have one or two of their delicious baked goodies and coffee.

A city must. You can get your Ginginha, a Wisnia cherry liquor, anywhere in town but this one is the top. This tiny booth serves only Ginginha. One version as a shot. The other version is in small chocolate cups. Happy days.

Очень вкусный вишневый ликер. Можно заказать обычную стеклянную рюмку, а можно шоколадную. В шоколадную вам нальют дважды, после второго раза рюмку можно съесть. Стоит аттракцион 1,85 евро. Бутылка ликера здесь же стоит 14,50 евро.
Бар малюсенький, есть пара столиков на улице. Но расчет на то, что посетитель выпил и ушел. В качестве закуски есть печеньки.

Ó lugar único e fantástico! Faz parte da cultura Lisboeta. Já passaram por aqui gerações e gerações de pessoas. Parabéns por manterem este nobre lugar vivo na cultura de nossa terra. Como é especial voltar a nossa cidade e poder desfrutar uma Ginginha. Ao tomar este nobre licor é como fazer uma paragem na história. Quem visita Lisboa não pode deixar de fazer aqui uma parada. Recomendo!

Vinha eu, andarilho de Lisboa, a caminhar rumo minha morada quando, vi as escadas para cortar caminho. Por cima, pude avistar algumas mesas e poucas pessoas. Ao descer encontrei ótima hospitalidade portuguesa, uma conversa muito agradável e um imperial bem gelado, onde, de passagem acabei por transformar em paragem.

Si vous voulez goûter au célèbre apéro à la cerise Ginjinha, c'est l'endroit parfait puisqu'il n'y a que ça. Avec 2/3 grandes tables mange debout en extérieur, ce n'est pas un bar pour y passer la soirée. Mais l'endroit est très charmant.

Piccolo posto dove trovare la ginjinha nelle tazzine di cioccolato. Meno di €2 l'una. Ricordatevi che nel prezzo ve la riempiono due volte, quindi non Mangiatevi la tazzina al primo assaggio!

Questo è un posticino minuscolo e si trova ai piedi di una scalinata che porta ai treni della stazione del Rossio: fanno il caffè, ma non ci si va per questo, è infatti famoso soprattutto per la ginginha, un liquore a base di ciliege, da bere liscia o nel bicchierino di cioccolato fondente. Costa poco, come del resto tutto a Lisbona, ed è sempre frequentato, soprattutto dai turisti.

Ginginha do Carmo is niet meer dan een gat in de muur onderaan de trap tegenover het Rossio-treinstation, waar lekkere kersenlikeur wordt verkocht. Niettemin zijn wachtrijen hier niet ongewoon. Probeer de ginginha in een cupje van chocolade.
