I took a private lesson at Albufeira and the instructor Kate was just such an amazing teacher! She gave me tons of new tricks that I can now take home with me just wonderfull!

Very welcoming and friendly. They cater for all levels. Me and my family had a wonderful 1 hour ride for beginners and I also took a 2 hour ride for experienced riders. Horses are all very well behaved. Thank you for a great time!

Na 11 jaar niet meer paard gereden te hebben heb ik hier 2 ritten gemaakt. 1 keer een rit voor beginners en daarna voor gevorderden. Ze houden heel erg rekening met of je wel of niet ervaren bent. De paarden waren heel braaf en het waren twee fantastische ritten! De paarden zagen er heel goed uit en verzorgd uit.

Highlight of my holiday! I can't thank Sarah enough for arranging/planning the perfect experience and for the lovely Jody for delivering it! I was in Portugal for a skydiving holiday but couldn't due to high winds, so this was my plan b. Had I'd know how much of an amazing experience I'd have I would have definitely made this my plan a! I was pushed skills wise just as I'd asked for, fast cantering through beautiful orange groves and along tracks. It made an incredible difference to my riding level. Jody was so adorable, she even planned out the rest of my day with activities for me to do as it was my birthday. Thank you both for the unforgettable experience!

Our family of 5 booked an hour of horseback riding within a week of traveling to Portugal. Sarah made it super easy and family friendly for us to book, and ride. It was a nice and easy walking tour, and the horses were gentle and easily ridden. She lead with the kids - and it was super fun to see the kids on horses rather than ponies. Very reasonable prices; compared to the U.S it was really inexpensive. Upon reading other reviews, I'd like to note that region really doesn't make for a ride for advanced riders, the trails are not groomed specifically for horses - they are going up and down hills with rocks and sand. They also were great about talking with the riders to determine their riding and comfort levels. We were even there when she took a call inquiring about booking and was clear in her explanation of the ride, what to expect and where/when might be possible if they are looking for a tour with a gallop. That being said, We were very happy to have gotten to ride with ARC!

Went on a 2 hour trek. The ride was at 8am, very sensible given the heat and allowed us to get the 'experienced ride we paid for' whilst it was safe for the horses. Horses were clearly loved and cared for, I rode Nemo and despite his age he proved a great ride. Each horse was introduced and was well behaved without being a 'plodder'. Sarah was a brilliant ride leader; very chatty, friendly and told us all about the local wildlife, cork and fruit plantations. Definitely worth the money - a brilliant ride in beautiful countryside with lovely horses and people.

30 euros la balade d'une heure. On a même pas fait 1h. C'est l'usine... on arrive les chevaux sont déjà préparés. On monte dessus on marche on a à peine trotté... La monitrice nous a à peine parlé. Bref passez votre chemin.

EXCELLENT! Lovely horses and all the ladies are fab! All speak English. The lady we spoke to on the phone squeezed my boyfriend and I on the ride last minute. Sarah is fab! Definelty do it! Don’t hesitate.

Offered a 1h trek+lunch to a couple of friends as wedding gift. Booked online via email and the owner responded quickly with many infornations. They had never riden before and LOVED it! The organisers were very friendly. They (portuguese) also enjoyed the traditional meal, so it's not just another tourist restaurant. There were thunderstorms when we arrived so we had to postpone for the next day. IF THE WEATHER IS BAD, call and make sure your tour is not cancelled!

Toller Ausflug, sehr freundliche Betreuung vor Ort, Pferde sind in meinem Fall ( Anfänger ) sehr ruhig meiner Pferd "Tim" war einfach nur TOLL, wir können diesen Ausflug nur empfehlen mit dem Taxi wurden wir bis zum Platz gebracht und die Zeit war leider zu schnell vorbei. Noch einmal vielen Dank für diesen tollen Vormittag.

Had a fantastic day here on Sunday. Lovely horses and lovely ladies, a real pleasure to ride with. I done an hour experienced ride on the lovely Goldie led by Georgia, who was very friendly and welcomed us warmly to the yard. After that myself and my partner done a beginners ride, after him waiting for me to come back from my first ride. Nice relaxed ride through the countryside on fantastic horses. Lovely experience and lovely ladies at the yard. Definitely will be back, and look forward to welcoming Georgia over to our yard in Northern Ireland, for a beach ride along the North Coast. Highly recommend a visit here, if your an experienced rider or a beginner, they cater for all and you will not be disappointed.

Amazing experience, we went on a 30 min trek, absolutely loved it. Wished we chose the 1 hour trek instead. There was 4 of us, all beginners, and they made us feel safe and it was just an amazing experience! Deffo recommend!

Wie hatten hier einen geführten Ritt durch das backcountry. Kleine Dörfer , Feldwege durch die Natur. Die Pferde sind sehr gut und rittig. Weder triebig noch hitzig. Immer handelbar. Die Rittführerinnen sind professionell und sorgen für einen entspannten Ritt. Je nach können werden Schrittritte für Anfänger , Trab und Schritt für fortgeschrittene und Ritte in allen Gangarten für Reiter angeboten. Vielen Dank ans Team, es hat uns Spass gemacht und im nächsten Jahr kommen wir sicher wieder um mit euch einen schönen Tag zu genießen.

Absolutely amazing experience. Booked with a novice rider absolutely terrified of horses, staff were very helpful and put my partner at ease. By the end of the trek she was riding by herself and loved every minute of it! I would highly recommend for all levels of experience.

Excellent! The staff was extremely friendly! The horses that my sons rode were very gentle and the guide rider extremely helpful in providing tips to the boys how to properly ride them. We used few riding places during our holidays and this certainly is one of the best. Fantastic experience! Highly recommend it!

We had a lovely quiet ride through beautiful countryside. Our guide was very helpful and engaging. The horses, 2 absolutely stunning boys, were an absolute joy to be around and didn't put a hoof wrong the whole day. The only reason this isn't a 5* review is the meal part of our ride which was unfortunately a rather disappointing experience. Never the less I would still recommend this to anyone (just without the meal)

Het was echt SUPER waren met zn 2en en hebben gezwommen met de paarden gegalopeerd en gestapt heel veel gezien. De paarden weren jeel goed verzorgd en met die warmte hadden ze super goede stallen. 5 sterren voor de top ervaring!

I would like to thank the below reviewer, who left 1 star and comments regarding being refused to ride due to his weight. This confirmed for me that these people know and love their horses! It also proves that the health and happiness of their horses comes before profit - FANTASTIC! With fit, happy, and healthy horses working hard in high temperatures it is only right that the horses have a strict weight limit to ensure their comfort. These stables are welcoming, knowledgeable and perfect for beginner or experienced rides alike!!

It was a brilliant experience. We got to bond with the horse first by grooming them. Sarah was very informative about the area. Would recommend and go back.

Had a lovely time riding around Portugal with a very knowledgeable guide. We booked ahead via phone for 4 riders but they were able to accommodate an extra rider on the day; catering to all experience levels from a rider of 15 years to some who'd never sat on a horse.

I thoroughly enjoyed my ride out and the care Sarah took with my friends daughters who were novice riders. Being an experienced rider myself and worked as a groom I would highly recommend this yard and having read a comment suggesting they were idiots was obviously someone who has no knowledge of a horse to make such a ridiculous statement. I would recommend this centre to all who love horse riding

Absolute idiots told me that a 16.2 part shire horse cant take the weight of a 16 stone man. Are they stupid!?! The horse could carry four of me and pull a car at the same time without breaking a sweat!! Not only that but when I enquired they told me they would ring me back and that I should be ok, but ofcourse they didnt ring back!!! When I rang after waiting all day for a phone call got told I wouldnt be allowed to ride. Thanks for absolutely nothing, your a waste of a time and effort! In conclusion no customer care, completely ridiculous rules and incompetent staff, dont waste your time or money with these jokers!

What a beautiful ride... Seeing all the orchards was fun. My husbands second time riding and Sarah took great care of him..
