Went to this place a little over 2 years ago when I was in Lagos and it’s a place I reminisce about often because of the easy going atmosphere it provides. The staff are great, the food is great and it is also very cheap. It’s a place I can’t wait to go back and visit again.

Würde ich in Lagos wohnen, wäre ich sicher Stammgast. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Frühstücksteller zu niedrigen Preisen. Kaffee günstig und wirklich sehr gut. Kleines, aber gemütliches Lokal.
Wurden von einem sehr sympathischen und hübschen Kellner bedient, der ausgesprochen freundlich war.

Was getting a bit sick of the portugese food so went in here for a english breakfast and it was great. Was on my own had a little chat with the friendly staff and enjoyed the breakfast very much. Very small cafe but has a nice feel to it would recommend.

Very nice English breakfast, and the pancakes are a must try! The blueberry pancakes have a lot of blueberries in them, not just sauce. The fruity flavour paired with syrup and butter is amazing!

I am absolutely delighted by this place. I went there for breakfast and had the biggest English Breakfast plate, a juice and a blueberry pancake. What a fest! everything costed 7€ and I was not hungry for the whole day. The food was yummy and the potions are quite large! the breakfasts start from 3€. The blueberry pancake was to die... with such cheap prices I was honestly not expecting much but wow was I impressed. Get their homemade pancakes!! they also have burgers and wraps.
The staff was all portuguese and that was a huge bonus I might add... and very friendly too.
Careful, it closes at 2pm and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays!
100% recommend.

They do the basics really well. Mostly english or American style breakfasts of bacon eggs and pancakes. Burgers and sandwiches for lunch. Full bar. The staff are super friendly and they made the whole experience something to remember. Definitely will be back there.

Great little place with friendly bartender server. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. In one hour learned more Portugal than in a whole month. Few tables but nice bar and CNN was on.

C'est l'endroit où prendre son petit-déjeuner à Lagos! L'endroit est petit mais on est accueillis avec le sourire, et surtout le petit-déjeuner est vraiment très bons, copieux et à un prix plus que raisonnable! Il faut absolument prendre un pancake, c'est le meilleur que j'ai jamais mangé!

Excelente lugar. Todos super amables, El dueño, el staff y el cocinero. Un gusto haber comido en este pequeño pedazo de cielo. La comida es exquisita, al estilo inglés. Desayunos super completos y porciones abundantes a un precio muy bajo.

Nous sommes allé à ce petit resto pour déjeuner ! Ils servent oeufs, bacon et leur spécialité; des crêpes! Prix très abordable, le personnel très gentil et serviable! Superbe !

Checked out the reviews online and they were all accurate. Small little building with mimimal seating but the turnover was pretty quick. Very good, filling food for good price. Fed two people with coffee for just over 10 euro. Definitely worth it. Only 4 star rating because it was really warm inside, no AC and a little cramped.

45 Sterne auf tripadvisor? Kommentare wie: "beste pancakes"... Im Ernst? Aber von vorne: Atmosphäre ist ok. Ein kleiner Laden in dem jemand in der Kochnische herumwuselt und nette Damen hinterm Dressen drinks mixen. Empfangen wird man von einem netten jungen Typen der ein Platz zuweist auf den man je nach Uhrzeit 1/2 - 1h wartet. Das aber schon mal positiv. Denn der Reservierungswahn geht mir auf den Zeiger.
So nun aber zum wesentlichen. Die Speißen. Wir hatten englisch breakfast und American style sowie "galão". Beim American kommt einfach noch ein "riesen pancake" dazu.
Spiegeleier waren ok kann man auch nix falsch machen.
Rest vom Englisch war schlecht gewürzt und die Bohnen einfach aus der Dose.
Galão hat hier den Namen nicht verdient. Einfach Kaffee in Milch kippen und umrühren macht noch kein "Milchkaffee" aus. Aber die größte Enttäuschung war der blueberry pancake. Außen angekokelt innen noch flüssig. Vermutlich dadurch passiert, dass kalte tiefkühlbeeren in den Teig untergerührt wurden. Was das Ei drum herum natürlich in der Pfanne nicht backen lässt. Eigentlich nicht so wild. Aber die Eier Masse ist vermutlich viel früher gemixt worden und stand die ganze Zeit draußen. Denn das Ergebnis dieses so gepriesenen Pfannkuchens ( den ein Amy oder Japaner würde sowas niemanden als pancake verkaufen) war Durchfall. Kann natürlich auch aufgrund des kleinen Raumes sein. Denn bei der Abfertigung können die unmöglich zwischendurch sauber machen.

Great little hole-in-the-wall establishment. Few seats, but turnover is pretty fast so don't be afraid of the wait. Cook, server and bartender are an efficient and friendly team. The food is classic greasy spoon diner fare - come for a filling English breakfast or BLT with a thick milkshake on the side. The gigantic pancakes are absolutely not to be missed! You'll come away feeling a little oily, but it's worth it.

I love this cute, quaint cafe. Great prices, great food, GREAT STAFF! I just wish you would stay open, after 2PM, just for drinks..cuz your Mimosas are so cheap& good!!

Small little breakfast and lunch spot with a few tables as well as bar seating. Super friendly staff, genuinely interested in their clients. Everything we ordered for breakfast was delicious and it all came to just over €15 for three meals plus coffees. Generous portion sizes. We will definitely return.

Saw the reviews of this place and decided to give it a try. Walked in and was warmly greeted by who we assume is the owner. Menus were presented, but we spotted their house special of Eggs Benedict on the wall and were sold. A fresh English muffin cut in half with a good helping of ham on each and two perfectly poached eggs with delicious hollandaise sauce. Scrumptious... I had a coffee with milk and my partner had the Mimosa. Service was quick and it only cost €13 for both of us. Will have to go back to see what the rest of the menu has to offer

양이... 양이 대박 많고 저렴합니다. 브렉퍼스트 메뉴가 다양하고, 단순하지만 누구나 아는 맛으로 훌륭합니다. 영수증 첨부.

If you're looking for cheap and yummy breakfast in Lagos this is the number one place to go. It's a cozy little cafe up by the slaves market and all the staff are amazing. I would eat here everyday for breakfast no problem. There pancakes are amazing and you can eat a full brekkie for as little at 3 euro. Definitely check it out its a locals spot for sure.

Llegamos allí por las reseñas... Sino probablemente no llegaría casi nadie allí: una puertecita y lugar pequeño. Pero gracias a esas reseñas lo descubrimos. Te sorprende q luego tengas tantísima variedad para elegir y rápidamente te sirven. La chica q sirve es servicial y simpática. Desde luego la ultima Estrella sería la mejora del local pero no lo q sirven. Sitio con solera! Buenos precios más q acordes con lo servido.

Cosy place, loved our waiter, she was welcoming, quirky and a tad humorous. Breakfast was cheap, great coffee. Get the Super Odeon if your hungry but the omelettes are just as good. Get an actors serve of Blueberry pancakes (single or more) slather it in butter and sweet sauce and it will hit the spot. So happy we stumbled upon this space this morning wandering Lagos

During our day trip to lagos we looked online and asked a few locals we were pointed in the direction of Café Odeon.
It is a small place but great food, atmosphere and staff. Would certainly recommend.
Good english breakfast, omelettes and pancakes. 10/10.

Seriously, the breakfast are good and cheap! Chocolate pancake is insane ! We paid 13$ total for the 2 largest breakfast on the menu + cappuccino + soft drink . The service was super fast too .

Der beste Ort um in Lagos zu frühstücken! Zumindest haben wir kein besseres gefunden.
Es liegt etwas ausserhalb der „Touristen Zone“ und mann muss aufpassen das man es nicht übersieht. Das Lokal ist wirklich klein (ca 15-20 Plätze) manchmal muss man kurz warten, aber es lohnt sich. Die Karte wirkt auf den ersten Blick sehr lang, aber es gibt einfach sehr viele Verschiedene Kombinationen. Die Preise sind echt unschlagbar und es ist ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (sogar mehr Leistung als Preis) Kann es wirklich weiterempfehlen.
Serviert wird vorallem English/ American breakfast (ei, Bohnen, Pancakes, Bacon...) wer also Croissants, Brot und Cornflakes sucht ist hier falsch.
Preis: supper!
Ambiente: einfache Einrichtung (hat aber einen gewissen Charme)
Essen: einfach, aber sehr lecker
Tipp: Passt auf mit der Auswahl eures Restaurants. Gerade in der „Touristen Zone“ ist das essen oftmals überteuert und minderwertig. Wir haben einige schlechte Erfahrungen dort gemacht. Am besten immer zuerst online suchen.
Ich habe alle Restaurants bewertet, schaut also nach falls ihr ein paar Ideen sucht :)

By far best cafe in lagos. Went to a buch and this one is amazing so tasty and lovely staff. May have to wait to enter but its worth the wait. Super cheap too !!

포르투갈에서 먹은 것 중 제일 맛있었습니다.. 입맛에 잘 맞았어요. 가이드북 보고 반신반의해서 갔는데 너무 좋은 공간이었습니다. 여자 직원분은 정말 친절했어요. 테이크아웃해서 먹었는데 진짜 맛있게 먹었어요! 다음에 들르면 가게에서 먹어보고 싶어요!

Llegamos y el sitio se salía de nuestras expectativas. Es un local pequeño viejo y anticuado por lo que con los ojos no enamora. Pero eso es lo único malo que tiene. Tiene unos precios increíbles, un desayuno inglés por 5 euros y te llena para todo el día, unas tortitas del tamaño de un plato, toda la comida fresca y de buena calidad y los batidos, naturales con un sabor riquísimo y muy bien presentados. Fue una sorpresa que aunque no enamore con los ojos, enamore muchísimo con el bolsillo y con el estómago. La comida simplemente inmejorable. Y el trato a las personas igual, son muy amables e intentan hacerse entender y entenderte da igual el idioma que hables. Tenía toda la pinta de ser el típico lugar inglés apartado de todo para que los turistas ingleses se sientan cómodos fuera de su país y puedan tomar su típico desayuno inglés. Increíble. Al ser un local pequeño, hay que llegar medio pronto para tener sitio porque sino tienes que esperar unos 20 min de cola. Igualmente hay take away, pero no hacen take away del desayuno inglés, solo de tortitas, batidos y tal.

There's no mistake with the reviews. This place is 5 stars. The team of 3 inside are incredibly inviting, speak multiple languages, and are hilarious. Well versed in American sarcasm as well. The pancakes are as advertised. I ate mine and my girlfriend's. Obrigado Cafe Odeon!

What a great place to go and grab some breakfast. The pancakes were amazing and the staff were so friendly. I went here 2 times while on vacation and wish I could of went more. If you are looking for a place to enjoy breakfast than Cafe Odeon is your choice. The only negative was there wasn't that much seating, but you can take a breakfast wrap to go.

Fantastic place for a good American and/or English breakfast (the hashbrowns are to die for)... €3 for 2 eggs overeasy with 4 bacon strips and 2 hashbrowns, the good and strong coffee for €1.20... no wonder this place is in with a young crowd... oh, and try the real American pancakes... delicious!
By the way, rumor has it that Tom, the owner, prepares a real good hamburger as well... that's on my lunch list for the next visit.

We loved the PANCAKES here!! They are really like American pancakes. The eggs over fried were a bit runny so if you don’t like that ask for well done! The portions are HUGE for 5 euros. The only real downside is the space is SO SMALL that there is a queue a lot of the time - I wish they would find a way to expand to a larger space! Such a great breakfast if

Kind of a hole in the wall spot to grab breakfast in Lagos. Prices are very reasonable also. Just 4-5 tables in there, but very friendly staff and decent food. Went here twice during my 3 day stay in Lagos.

Ótimo café da manhã! Como em quase todo o Algarve, só se fala inglês no restaurante. Há opção de menu em português, só que a opção vegetariana de café da manhã não consta nesse menu.. Ficamos satisfeitas com o prato que nem sobrou espaço para experimentar as panquecas!

What is all the hype about? Nice service and very cheap 3-5 euro meals. By the meals consist of fried egg on toast . There is absolutely nothing special about these Denny style meals. Maybe popular with backpackers because of the pricing but certainly not for a foodie.

It's hard to find an egg breakfast so we were very happy to find this place. It's tiny place so there may be a bit of a wait but the breakfast was good. Be patient service can be slow.

Really something for tourist. Not portuguese at all. French fries saltier than the sea. Eggs nothing special. Very small and smells of fat. In top of that we were pratically encouraged to eat fast so there is space for people waiting. Services was bad.

I literally went here every day that I was in Lagos because the breakfast was SO cheap and delicious. Service was also excellent!! Make sure to get one of their pancakes :)
