I really enjoyed my stay at Olá Onda Guesthouse. My room was comfortable and I had everything I needed. The location is very nice and a short walk from the centre of the town. I think the villa itself was restaured with great love and care. Some traditional details like Portuguese tiles and the original floors were kept and yet the house has a light and modern feel about it. I really liked the breakfast too. And, of course, the hosts - Darcie and Jasper - were wonderful. They helped with their advice and really made me feel at home. I strongly recommend Olá Onda Guesthouse.

Schitterende rustige plek op loopafstand van het centrum van Ericeira en het strand. Prima guesthouse om naast alle activiteiten ook lekker rond te hangen op een van de terrassen, je balkon of bij het zwembad. Kamers zijn ruim, schoon en comfi en het ontbijt is top!

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at Ola Onda Ericeira. Darcie and Jasper make you feel at home right away. The room + bathroom were spacious and very clean. Besides that the location is perfect: it's located a little bit up hill which gave us a beautiful view from the room. You can walk into town (10min) and the surfing spots are just a few minutes drive away. Definitely recommend this place! Looking forward to my next stay :)

We were one of the first ones to stay at the brand new casa ola onda and we really loved it! We enjoyed a fresh dive in the swimming pool every morning which is right next to the front door. The kitchen has everything you need for those evenings when you don’t want to go out for dinner, but just get some fresh ingredients and enjoy the whole evening on the private terrace and living room. The bedrooms were perfect as well. Clean, spacious and a comfy big bed. Not to forget: the hosts Jasper & Darcie are just great and we really enjoyed the chats with them. All this combined with the beautiful area that it’s in made it an awesome vacation. Xx Folkert & April

The rooms are spotless, big and have everything you need (including a very comfy bed and beautiful bathroom), the breakfast is amazing, the whole guesthouse is beautifully decorated... But the best part: Darcie & Jasper are the greatest hosts. They know everything about the area, from nice restaurants to the best places to go surfing. We absolutely LOVED staying at Olá Onda.

Kan varmt rekommendera Ola Onda Guesthouse. Personligt, lugnt, fräscht och fantastiskt bemötande av Darcie och Jasper. En ljuvlig frukost serverades varje morgon och vi fick många fina tips på pärlor och matställen i området. Darcie ordnade även en privat yoga-session för oss vid poolen.

Wij hebben een fantastische week bij Darcie en Jasper gehad! De guesthouse is mooi gelegen, met zicht op de omringende heuvels en de zee. Lekker ontbijt, relaxte sfeer en top uitbaters. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Top plek! Prachtig ingerichte kamers met fijne badkamer. Elke ochtend een lekker ontbijt door de liefste hosts die alles weten over de omgeving.

Met mijn vriend verbleef ik een week in het Guesthouse van Darcie en Jasper. We sliepen in een ruime, schone en fijn ingerichte kamer. Bij deze kamer zat een heerlijke badkamer met een grote douche. Hier kun je na een actieve dag heerlijk tot rust komen. Darcie en Jasper zijn fantastische hosts. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hebben goede tips voor activiteiten en restaurantjes in de buurt en regelen zelfs je surflessen en mountainbiketrips (echt een aanrader overigens). Het ontbijt is heerlijk. Daarnaast is er ook nog een fijn zwembad en biedt de tuin rondom het huis veel ruimte om te relaxen. Ik raad het aan om naar Olá Onda te gaan. Ik sluit zeker niet uit hier terug te gaan.

We stayed here in May of this year for a few days. The stay was excellent as the B&B is amazing and located on a beautiful location. The rooms are very neat and spacious and some of them have a cute balcony with view of the ocean! The breakfast is really nice with lovely fresh bread, fruit, granola and of course Pasteis de Nata! The hosts Darcie and Jasper are very friendly and will help you with arranging some cool activities in the area, such as surfing, mountain biking, hiking, wine tasting or just hanging out on some cool spots with great views! If you visit Ericeira, you should stay at Ola Onda, you will love it!

From the moment I arrived Jasper and Darcie made me feel welcome. Their knowledge of the local area, surf breaks and handy hints to get around were invaluable during my stay. The accommodation was beautiful especially if you want a slightly quieter vibe within easy reach of the vibrant Ericeira, a must visit location in Portugal if you surf or want that authentic Portuguese fishing village vibe.

Beautiful house and with a beautiful garden with lots of cute succulent plants:) Loved the spacious clean room and rain shower! Darcie and Jasper are super nice and have great tip’s for restaurants and fun things to do. They also arranged a surf lesson! We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and coffee with a view:)

Waanzinnig mooi huis op een pracht plek. De gastvrouw en heer zijn ontzettend aardig en hebben veel goeie tips voor leuke dingen in de omgeving. Alles is compleet en Ericeira is een gezellig dorpje, waar je heerlijk kan eten, drinken, surfen en zonnen. Absoluut een dikke aanrader.

Amazing place to stay! After a good night in the comfy beds, start your day with a rain shower, and enjoy the best breakfast in the garden. The hosts Jasper and Darcie are super helpfull and will organise surf lessons for you or guide you to the best spots to surf. They will also share the best places in Ericeira and Lisbon with you, where you can go shopping/drinking/eating. Rooms are fresh and clean, and the location is perfect, close to the centre of Ericeira and the beach. We (4 friends) loved our stay in October and will defenitely come back!

I was fortunate enough to visit Ola Onda twice, the beginning of Juli and the end of September. Both times were great with perfect weather, lovely hosts and comfy, spacious room with an amazing ocean view. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Will come back for sure!

Great accommodation in Ericeira. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and clean/modern bathrooms. Relaxt atmosphere, swimming pool with beautiful view of the ocean and close to the surf spots. Amazing place! Ola Onda is a beautiful renovated guesthouse; our room was nice cosy and clean, the breakfast was good fresh and healthy, and the location is perfect, with an aboslute stunning view! The owners Jasper and Darcie are very nice and hospitable people, happy to help you discovering the area by recommending the best places and surfspots.

Wij verbleven in Vista, een super leuk ingerichte en ruime kamer met een gezellig balkon en fantastisch uitzicht op de zee. En niet geheel onbelangerijk een heerlijk bed en fijne regendouche. Wij waren er begin oktober en hadden echt heel lekker weer. We hebben genoten van het zwembad en terras met volle zon. 's Ochtends lekker buiten ontbijten met heerlijk vers eten. De surflessen bij Surfriders vonden wij ook echt een aanrader. Allemaal geregeld door Darcie en Jasper. Ze zijn super behulpzaam geweest, zelfs met haal- en brengservice van het vliegveld. Ze hebben ons allemaal leuks spots en tips gegeven waardoor wij een afwisselende vakantie hebben beleefd. Ola Onda is echt een heerlijke plek en een aanrader voor een ontspannen en actieve vakantie. Olá Onda is echt een heerlijke plek! De kamers zijn super leuk ingericht en de bedden liggen heerlijk. Vanuit onze badkamer (Fado) konden wij vanuit de regendouche, genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Darcie & Jasper zijn een super gastvrij stel en doen er alles aan om je van alle gemakken te voorzien (huurauto en surflessen zijn door Darcie geregeld). Het uitgebreide ontbijt is echt genieten. Elke ochtend verse koffie, croissants, chocolade broodjes, gekookte eitjes, beleg en sapjes. Olá Onda is een plek waar je goed tot rust kan komen aan het zwembad of één van de plekjes in en rondom het huis, maar ook een goede uitval basis om de rest van de streek te verkennen of naar Lissabon te gaan. Perfect place to be! With a group of friends we stayed at Olá Onda in Ericeira. We enjoyed the pool, a yoga session, sunshine, nice terrace, good breakfast and the most amazing view from our room. The hosts were lovely and also passionate about the beautiful area. Enough reasons to come back!

Wij hebben onwijs genoten bij Ola Onda. Het guesthouse ziet er top uit, hebben heerlijke bedden en ook het ontbijt was top! Iedere dag zochten ze een moment om even gezellig te kletsen en hadden goede tips voor het surfen. Zeker een aanrader!

Super relaxed en mooi Guesthouse met fantastisch uitzicht

We were received very warmly in this cool, classy and comfortable new guesthouse by its spiritful owners. The village Ericeira is an absolute dream and the rooms of the recently renovated Ola Onda are lovely. Even if you wouldn't pick the best room (Vista), you can experience the great view of the ocean anyway from the cute breakfast terrace or quiet pool area. The bathrooms are spacious (loved the shower), the view is great, and the fridge is always filled. Jasper and Darcie are furthermore available for great advice on sighseeing, surfing and dining. As long as they promise to heat the pool in the future (this is a critical luxury lover speaking), I would love to return to this atmospheric secret on the gorgeous coast of Portugal. You will be atmost pleased.

Wonderful guesthouse in walking distance of the beach! The room was very clean and well decorated, great style and ocean views. The bed was very comfortable and the rain shower was so nice (great water pressure). Jasper & Darcie created a place where anyone can feel at home. They also have a lot of tips on things to do in the surroundings of Ericeira and Lisbon. A nice bbq together in the garden on Saturday topped it all off. Would love to come back here some day.

Een fris maar sfeervol guesthouse, een zwembad met uitzicht en een enthousiast welkom maakte dat we een hele fijne vakantie hebben gehad! Ericeira is een gezellig en schattig surfersdorpje, waar we dan ook onze eerste surfles hebben gehad. Bedankt Ola Onda, voor de relaxte week, de smakelijke biertjes en de toffe vakantiekiekjes! ;)

We really enjoyed our stay at Olá Onda guesthouse! Jasper & Darcie are friendly and welcoming hosts. The guesthouse is pretty and has a lovely seaview! The swimming pool is a nice bonus :) Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved the breakfast. Ericeira is also a good spot to visit for people who don't surf. Enough restaurants, but not too touristy. Lots of sightseeing possible in the area. We visited Sintra, Óbidos, Cascais and some nice beaches with our rental car. We would definitely return and stay at Olá Onda again!

I was super impressed with this beautiful guesthouse. The interior, exterior and overall feel is a cool mixture of fresh and warm. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is clean and modern. A good variety in breakfast choices and a stocked fridge where you can take drinks and snacks throughout the day. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and offer you tips on places to go and see in and around Ericeira. A big plus is the swimming pool where you can hang out in the sun. I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

Darcy and Jasper are a very nice couple that run Ola Onda Guesthouse. Very good service, clean rooms on a lovely location. Darcy and Jasper can tell you lots about the surfspots in Ericeira. Also they are very helpfull and willing to arrange things with or for you. Would go back there for sure!

I stayed with my family at the Ola Onda Guesthouse. We had a great room with our own balcony that had the most beautifull view at the sea and the sunset. My 8 year old daughter was very exited about the pool. Also, the owners helped us out with finding things to do around Ericeira as a family. I can now say that Ericeira is not only for people who love to surf but as a family it is also a great place to stay. We rented a car and went to Sintra to see the castles, we went to Cascais (only 35 min drive) to see the beaches there and also Lisbon is a 30 min drive. Ericeira is a perfect mix between a easygoing tourist holiday and a true authentic seaside village. If you are planning to visit Ericeira, i would definitely recommend Ola Onda. The owners are easy going, flexible and always open to give advice. At the other hand; they don’t mind your business, only when you ask!

The surf and beach village Ericeira is nearby beautiful sights like Palácio Nacional da Pena and Castelo dos Mouros (both in Sintra), but also Palácio Nacional de Mafra. And of course Lisba, Cascais, etc. And let's not forget that Ericeira is also close to the secret gem in this area: Praia de Santa Cruz (Torres Vedras Municipality)! The Ola Onda Guesthouse is a completely renovated, traditional Portuguese country house, located on top of one of the hills of Ericeira. This week we stayed in the Vista room, located on the top floor of the guesthouse. Our room was very clean, with an excellent bed and spacious bath room: The Visa room has a balcony with a beautiful view over the valley and the Atlantic. But let's not forget the brand new infinity pool! What a great view over the valley and ocean! Our stay included breakfast; with freshly baked bread and croissants; fresh fruit and juices, coffee... the whole shebang! Fantastic location! The seaview is amazing and the city centre of Ericeira is within walking distance, so you're close to all the bars and restaurants. Lovely owners with a lot of knowledge from the area. They gave some great tips about the best places to surf, best beaches and where to go for dinner or coffee. I had a very pleasant stay and I would definitely return!

Prachtig uitzicht en top locatie in Ericeira. Ik had geluk om voor de officiële opening te mogen blijven slapen en heb hiervan ontzettend genoten. Ik verwacht dat dit de toplocatie voor surfvakanties wordt in Portugal vanaf 2017.
