Outstanding food, great staff and not too pricey. Was one of the first cafes I visited when I came to Portugal and it's still one of my favorites.

There are tourist traps and then there are portuguese traps. Pedimos algo simples como sumo e uma torrada e fizemos questão de perguntar ao proprietário se as torradas não eram estilo pão de forma panrico. Ele disse prontamente que não. Vieram as torradas e eram estilo panrico mas mais finas ainda. Com fome e tendo cometido o erro de entrar para comer num café inglês, lá comemos. No fim veio a conta, 6 eur duas torradas. Dissemos-lhe que não correu bem, na hora de pagar afinal já não sabia o que era panrico e justificou que era pão inglês apesar de falar bem português e ter dito ao inicio que não era panrico - cobrou 1.5 eur por cada fatia. Em inglaterra talvez faça sentido estes preços, em portugal é roubo. Quando entrámos o dono foi super simpático para nos fazer sentar, à saída sem que tenhamos feito grande barulho foi arrogante e fechado. Se nos sentimos enganados, foi porque agiu nesse sentido.

It's a pleasant cafe. A good selection of breakfasts, light snacks and main meals. It is a good place to sit and enjoy the sun. Be prepared to wait. The food is cooked to order and it can get very busy.

We went for lunch as was over the road from where we were staying. Had a great smoked salmon and prawn salad. Portions very generous and quality excellent. A little bit out of the centre of Lagos, but don't let that put you off if you're looking for someone to have lunch. Good place for a coffee or a beer too

Fantastic place for a great snack or just a drink. It gets very busy at lunch time so get there early

Favourite place. Been coming back for about 10 years and never disappointed. Staff are welcoming and food excellent. Highly recommend, particularly if you want a good breakfast!

Sitio típico inglés con desayunos abundantes, los zumos son naturales y es un lugar agradable.

Leider waren wir überhaupt nicht begeistert. Der Kaffee schmeckt sauer und das Rührei hat einen merkwürdigen Geschmack. Ist Menü technisch etwas für den englischen Gaumen.

Un buon caffè, non come quello italiano, ma buono.

Nous avons goûté à quelques plats et n'avons pas été déçu. Bonne place pour un déjeuner, bonne nourriture de qualité. Service ok et prix correct.

라구스 시내에 있는 카페 입니다. 베지터리언 메뉴도 있고 아침 겸 점심으로 식사대용 메뉴도 있어서 편하게 즐길수 있습니다. 아주 맛있습니다. 영국식 스타일인것 같은데 굉장히 맛있고 아주 친절하십니다.

In a nice light spot off the main drag. We enjoyed a tasty cooked breakfast with good coffee and fresh juice. The service was also very friendly!
