Absolutely underestimated and amazing place! The dinner was amazing, inexpensive and a lovely homely atmosphere! The chef was so welcoming that we felt like at home! Amazing!

Passé le côté kitch du lieu, vous vous retrouvez en famille dans un lieu où célibataires, couples, familles et habitués se côtoient sans être laissés pour compte, le serveur et cuisinier fiers et authentiques vous mettent à l’aise et font en sorte que vous vous régaliez ...ma daurade plancha était divine, accompagnée de pomme de terre, carotte et salade de tomate+ oignons doux...petit vin blanc top ! Je recommande +++

Carlos is definitely a character. Super chatty with locals and foreigners. Food is homey at an affordable price. Perhaps a bit too salty for my liking. He's generous and doesn't take life too seriously.

Restaurante de comida tradicional portuguesa. Ofrece menu del dia que consiste en un plato de carne o pescado con guarnicion, postre, bebida y cafe por 7.5 euros. La comida esta buena sin descubrir grandes sabores. El local es pequeño y esta un poco dejado. El trato al principio fue correcto, despues se olvidaron de nuestra mesa y comenzo a ser mas cortante.

As others have said: fantastic host, super helpful and friendly. Best Authentic Portuguese meal of our trip so far (7 days in). We will be back!

The best fish I've eaten in Portugal was in this restaurant. I strongly recommend this place to everyone, who want to taste the tradicional portuguese cuisine and experience the wonderful atmosphere that this place definitely has.

The man working in the restaurant is the heart of Portugal! Great service, nice selection of dishes, amazing food!

Absolutely amazing food at great prices and such a warm and friendly welcome - we think he actually stayed open late for us on our second visit which was a Sunday night as no-one else seemed to be eating and one or two passing locals seemed surprised he was open which was very nice - would definitely recommend and will be eating here again if we are ever back in Faro
