Sensacional! Um hotel maravilhoso, a começar pela recepção da Dona Maria Oliveira. Os quartos uma obra prima. Grandes, confortáveis, o banheiro um espetáculo, espaçoso, chuveiro sensacional! De manhã o pequeno almoço servido em uma sala ampla, com boa variedade, e um serviço muito bom! Certamente vale a estadia e com certeza indico e voltarei outras vezes.

Ideal para um fim de semana retemperador. Na lista para voltar!

O sítio é lindo e na casa foi feita uma excelente adaptação para alojamento local! Fomos muito bem recebidos, com a atenção suficiente para nos sentirmos muito bem vindos, mas dando-nos também o espaço necessário para estarmos à nossa vontade. Todo o espaço estava limpo e bem tratado. As suites eram muito confortáveis e quentes - óptimas para uma estadia em família. O pequeno almoço era muito variado e estava excelente! - adorei a atenção que tiveram para connosco em relação à intolerância à lactose de um de nós.

Excelente propriedade, com um encanto fenomenal... penso que dispensa apresentações, basta ver as fotografias. Muito bom gosto na decoração, organização e as pessoas responsáveis são de uma simpatia e cordialidade difícil de descrever. Obrigado

Casa restaurada y decorada con muchísimo gusto. Nosotros estuvimos en la suite y era una pasada, con chimenea en la habitación, fruta y chocolate de bienvenida, etc. El desayuno es brutal, con zumos recién exprimidos, embutido de primera, crepes, croissants, huevos, tarta de zanahoria fruta, et. . Pero lo mejor la amabilidad de los dueños. Volveremos!!!

Can I give 10 stars! Maria was a fine host as well as the lovely staff. Super clean and romantic place. The garden is much more beautiful than what the pictures can take in.

Ana and María, our hosts, were very friendly and tried hard to provide a great experience. Breakfast was superb with a mix of buffet and free ala carte options, and the banquet room where you have breakfast makes you feel like you're on the 19th century and makes it easy to start talking to other guests. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the room welcoming and clean. Cons: the jacuzzi bath tub was broken and we only discovered it when were in the bath, we pressed the "on" button and nothing happened. You need a car or an Uber to get to and from Sintra, the trail is stop steep and rough for bikes, and too long to walk. The door to the guests floor makes a loud electronic noise when opened, and it can be easily heard at 2am, a nearby loud dog wakes up early and may disturb light sleepers, and even though breakfast is great, it's served way too late (9am) for day trips. Five stars despite all of this because of the comfort, the unforgettable experience, and Ana and María's hospitality.

Ich kannte schon einige schöne Orte in Sintra selber, aber diese Quinta schlägt alle - wenn man ewas im Grünen sein will und trotzdem nahe bei allem. Sehr schöne alte Quinta mit Aussicht und Garten, die Gemeinschaftsräume strahlen alten Charme aus und das Frühstück das mit allen Gästen im grossen Raum serviert wird, ein Traum!

Sehr nettes Personal, Maria ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin und gibt gute Tips für Ausflüge etc. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut, das Frühstück sehr gut und die Gastgeber fabelhaft

Great quaint hotel. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are clean with loads of character. Lovely views and so peaceful throughout the day. They don't have a reception and the owner's of the place live next door so if you need them they have a number but sometimes they may be out but overall we had a delightful stay

The owners of Tadeu (Ana Martins de Oliveira) are what makes Portugal look like a 3rd world country. Tadeu is a nice farm house in a nice location. However, the unfriendliness of the staff, and the fact that they are crooks, can spoil your entire stay at the hotel. I had booked 10 rooms at Tadeu to host a group of guests for my wedding. We sent someone to check out the rooms a few weeks before the event, but at the time Ana claimed she could only show us half of the rooms. It was a big surprise to find out later that she had split up Suites into 2 rooms. That means that a couch was turned into a bed, and for our guests to use the bathroom they had to go into other people's room. Not at all what we had agreed upon. Needless to say we did not accept this particular room. We were told not to worry because our money would be refunded. However, 100 days, 40 phone calls and 20 emails later, this has still not happened. Tadeu is actively avoiding our attempts to get into contact. The only time we did get to talk to Ana we were told she was too busy after which she hung up.

호텔 분위기가 가족적이고 엔틱한 소품과의 조화가 좋다. 객실 앞에 자연 테라스는 주변 풍광과 어울어져 인상적이다. 아침식사는 정성스럽게 차려진 집밥 같은 느낌이어서 더 맛있고 훌륭하다. 무엇보다도 주인이 친절하고 주변 현지 맛집을 추천받았는데 넘 좋았다.

This beautiful home was warm and cozy and Maria was as sweet as can be. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable with excellent recommendations. The room was comfortable (although no AC) and quaint and made you feel like you were back in time. It was easy to find (even in the dark when we arrived) and off the beaten path but an easy drive to Sintra center.

מקום שקט מחוץ לעיר, מה שמחייב רכב שכור. הארוח ברמה גבוה מאוד, חדרים נקיים ומרווחים מאוד, מרוהטים בסגנון ווינטג' ובטוב טעם, ארוחת בוקר טעימה מאוד והכי חשוב זה הצוות שהוא בעצם משפחה חמה ולבבית שמנסה לעזור ולהנעים את השהות ובראשם אם המשפחה מריה החמודה.

Плохо!!! Обманули на счёт чек ин. На Букинге чек ин до 23, приехали в 21. Никого в здании нет. На имейл пришёл неправильный адрес и текстовое! описание как их найти. Навигатор не знал адрес. Пришлось три раза звонить, что бы найти. Два раза звонить, что бы понять, как попасть внутрь. В итоге на третьем звонке из соседнего домика выбежала хозяйка, стала ругаться и вела себя как истеричка. Пытались ее успокоить и обсудить все. Без вариантов. Решили не пользоваться таким сервисом. Просили вернуть деньги - захлопнула дверь перед носом. Просили вызвать полицию- ушла. Странное поведение. Сколько путешествуем- такого отношения к клиентам/гостям не встречали.

Très belle adresse. Chambre vaste (Suite 5) délicieusement décorée. Douche immense avec pommeau en cascade, j'adore. Petit déjeuner fabuleux. Accueil excellent dans un français parfait, aux petits soins.

The best experience Sintra can provide! Located in the heart of Sintra’s forest, the guest-house is beautiful, clean and quiet; and the hosts are amazingly kind people. Part of me doesn’t want to rate it, for I wish I could keep this place a secret for myself... No praise is high enough! Experience it yourself.

One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in. Maria is a very sweet host and just generally a very nice person. She gave us many suggestions for local restaurants as well as points of interest! The hotel itself is very comfortable and nicely decorated, and I loved the fact that since not many people are staying there at the same time you can actually get to know your neighbors fairly well! I have met a lot of interesting people there. If you are visiting Sintra I would definitely recommend this place to you!

My son and I were on a trip to Portugal and we were lucky enough to have found this superb inn!Ana and her mother, Maria, were so welcoming and helpful. They upgraded us to a suite that was beautifully decorated with gorgeous views of the property and the park. Sintra is a magical town and this hotel could be in a movie set!Do yourself a favor and stay here if you have the opportunity and say hi to Ana and Maria for me!

Cette Guesthouse fut une belle découverte. Tout est parfait, la décoration et grandeur de la chambre, le petit déjeuner fabuleux, la vue agréable, le calme reposant et pour ne rien gâcher une propriétaire attentionnée et extrêmement gentille.

It was a fantastic stay. Gorgeous house, wonderful hoast Maria who provided excellent restaurant recomendations. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was a special treat not to mention that the dining room where it is served looks just gorgeous. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Em cada recanto, em cada pormenor , reina o charme. Quartos máxima limpeza, muito confortaveis e acolhedores. Espaço envolvente muito bonito. Simpatia e sofisticado no acolhimento. Excelente breakfast A vila de Sintra com muitos locais a visitar e com certeza que  Quinta de São Tadeu será, novamente, o local para a nossa estada.

Merece la pena venir y disfrutar del entorno, el sitio es ideal lleno de detalles que le hacen sentir a uno como en casa. Sin duda volveremos a repetir!

Realicé una reserva en octubre del año 2017 para el día 26 de diciembre de 2017 hoy día 25 de diciembre me llega un correo de Booking confirmando que la reserva ha sido cancelada me pongo directamente en contacto con alojamiento y se me confirma que el alojamiento está cerrado hasta el 4 de enero no sé si será responsabilidad del alojamiento o de Booking pero ninguno de los dos se puso en contacto para proporcionar ninguna información cuenta mi experiencia para que no le ocurra a ninguna otra persona saludos

This was one of my favorite stay in Portugal. Ana and Carolina are fantastic hosts, they gave us plenty of suggestions of local places and what to visit. The house is truly beautiful, all new decorated with a big garden where you can relax. The breakfast is wonderful, you can enjoy it on the main living space and you can try all the local traditional food! Highly recommend for long and short stays. Thank you for having us! 5 STARS

La Quinta de São Tadeu é un viaggio nel viaggio, é un esperienza di benessere ed accoglienza. Ospitalità ai massimi livelli. La Finca é bellissima, le stanze comode pulite e confortevoli. Massima pulizia ed eleganza in tutto. Colazione ottima. La raffinatezza regna sovrana. L'accoglienza degli ospiti é familiare senza alcuna invadenza. Vale la pena di andare a Sintra giusto per essere ospiti della Quinta de São Tadeu. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

We were welcomed by Ana the manager and she ensured that our stay was comfortable and provided a great deal of advice and assistance in finding our way around Sintra and making sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Our suite was beautiful and the house is lovely.

Stunning guest house beautiful views. Great host Ana, knowledgeable about the local area and really friendly. Ana was able accommodate with a gluten free breakfast at short notice, and also provide a list of local sites to visit and the best restaurants to try in Sintra. Thank you for making it a pleasant stay

MOLD, MOLD, MOLD, NO HEATING, NO WARM WATER AND rude and unprofessional management/owner When we spoke with the manager and the owner in the morning on November 9th, after we spend the night in the cold and mold to complain about the mold, she refused to give us the opportunity to make a cancellation/reclamation of our additional December reservation and file an official complaint. What I found equally bad as the mold everywhere and couldn’t quite believe was the very uncooperative, kinda rude, dishonest and arrogant owner/manager, who doesn’t care about your feedback when it’s something negative. When something doesn’t work or if you can’t breathe because of the mold it’s in her own words: “your opinion and your problem.” How can you say to someone who’s visiting your property for one night that the mold you have in the building and the lack of heating and warm water is their problem???? We wanted to come to this place to relax, not to deal with mold or with equipment that doesn’t work properly. These people don’t care if you’re dying in the mold and complain about it - the lady manager, again in her own words: “has 500 positive reviews and 9.3 score on booking, and because of that you can complain as much as you want, but it doesn’t bother her and there’s nothing you can do” if you’re not happy with the mold - no refund, NOTHING. I can come or not in December, this is my problem. Then she told me not to lose her time and my time and she helps me out with my luggage! - Just horrible, zero customer service and no basic facilities Don't expect refund or solution if you're not happy - all you'll get when you complain are nasty words from the manager. I booked this location unfortunately for my wedding in December without cancellation option, because I was mislead by the description as a 4 Stars hotel (which surprisingly disappeared a month after I booked the accomodation), pictures and the review and was thinking that I made a good deal. I expected quality of accommodation and good service and not moldy, moist, cold place to harm my health and to ruin my wedding and on top of that rude and inadequate management. I checked the location on November 8th personally. The real condition of the house: - THE PLACE IS NOT RENOVATED, (it is a 200 years old house, so what do you expect according to the manager!!!), moist, mold and bad smell are everywhere. THE MOLD IS everywhere and visible (we both have allergic asthma, so we barely could breathe there)! Our "Suite" had cracks on the ceiling, taped with clear tape. Expect moist and swollen walls, moldy ceilings. - We stayed also in another place in Sintra (250 years old hotel) and it had air conditioning and no mold at all, because it was properly renovated. So, it is not because Sintra is humid, you don't have to have mold, if you invest in the renovation of your building. - This Quinta has plenty of mold, but it does not have heating or air conditioning even though the description and the pictures claim one and the pictures show normal heating, the place is freezing cold, the manager said IT IS THEIR DECISION WHETHER THE HEATING IS ON OR NOT, and I should be ok, if she gives me a small portable electric heating, that by the way did not work - warm water is not available, or at all or at times (late in the evening, we did not have) - the rooms and floors do not have smoke detectors, in the old house, with wooden floor, window frames, doors and full of candles close to forest area - the signs for the emergency exits are not visible, - nobody is on the reception after 8 pm, - you hear every tiny step from the guests above, you think that they will fall into your room through the crack in the ceiling.

It was simply amazing to stay at Quinta de Sao Tadeu. Spacious room (Jr. Suite) with the hugest bed ever seen. Christina was kind and helpful with her suggestions. Just perfect.
