Após encomendar duas pizzas que vinham completamente queimadas, a pizzaria enviou outras a muito custo. A partir daí, passaram a recusar vender-nos pizzas pois aparentemente pedir pizzas comestíveis e não perigosas para a saúde é exigir demasiado por quem as paga.

Super leckere Pizza im Herzen von Lissabon. Vegan freundlich. Der Geschmack der Pizza war super. Die Preise für Lissabon ok (und somit generell om Vergleich für Portugal leicht überteuert. Die Bedienung war nicht die schnellste, ab es war alles völlig ok.

Ordinato online, pagato per 3 pizze, ma ne ho ricevute solo 2. Può succedere, ma non hanno mai risposto al telefono quando ho provato a chiamarli per risolvere il problema.
La pizza comunque era buona, ma è arrivata tardi e molto fredda. Ho seguito la consegna e la colpa non è stata del corriere perché è arrivato poco dopo esser partito dalla sede.

My friend and I went here for food in April 2019, and were extremely happy with the whole experience. The staff is really nice, and the food even nicer! The prices are also very friendly, and with a casual vibe the place is highly recommended.

We had one small hiccup where we reserved and were put on a wait list but were never contacted by the restaurant. We spoke with them after an hour of waiting and they sat us immediately and took very good care of us. The pizzas were very delicious and authentic Napoli style. I would come weekly if I lived in Lisbon.

Découvert par hasard lors de notre balade dans le vieux quartier du bairo alto.
Les pizzas sont délicieuses. Le personnel est très aimable et nous nous sommes régalés.
Moi qui suis pas trop pizza ... j étais prêt à y revenir :)

Pedi uma pizza Capricciosa e fiquei um pouco desapontada. O recheio estava concentrado em apenas um lado da pizza; do outro lado dava para ver a massa, tamanha era a escassez de toppings, molho de tomate e queijo. A massa estava soggy, o que fez ser difícil cortar e comer a pizza. O sabor estava bom, ao menos.

Non é facile trovare una buona pizzeria nel cuore di Lisbona. Ci sono riuscito cenando in questo bellissimo locale. Ottima pizza napoletana e buona birra. E mangiato anche un ottimo tiramisù. Personale italiano e simpatico.

Insgesamt leckere Pizza in super nettem Lokal, das relativ gut aus der Stadtmitte heraus erreichbar ist. Die Tomatensauce war etwas fad für meinen Geschmack, dafür war der Rand der Pizza Klasse und der Teig schön dünn.

Pizzeria au cadre sympa avec deux petites salles ,mais mieux vaux réserver pour manger à table tant ce lieu à une bonne réputation. Nous avons pris de pizzas (végétariennes avec un grand choix) à emporter. Elles sont délicieuses!!! Je vous conseille de tester.

We had great food and service. The food is made with quality fresh ingredients. We shared the meatballs, arugula salad, and pizza. The pizza was a little soupy, but the sauce was so good I didn’t mind. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There is no bar area. They have a dessert menu. House wine is 2.50 Euro. Table water is 1.5 euro.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The staff works hard, even when the place is full they seem to be everywhere, serving everyone in no time and still manage to keep smiling and be super nice. The food is tasty and made from good quality sources. The pizza was one of the best if not the best we ever had, made from slow rise pizza dough. There is also a fair amount of vegetarian choices. This is the first place I reviewed which should get a 6th star for exceeding expectations in every way.

No doubt the best pizza dough I ever eaten. I ate a Crudaiola Antonino and a suggestion would be to add some black pepper and some garlic oil on the top of that pizza to elevate even more. Thanks for a fantastic pizza.

O espaço é muito acolhedor e o staff é simpático, mas o melhor são mesmo as pizzas. A massa é excelente e os ingredientes muito frescos e de boa qualidade (o restaurante refere que usa ingredientes biológicos e nota-se), resultando em pizzas com um ar um pouco mais rústico e artesanal e muito saborosas. A mousse de chocolate intensa e a limonada feita como deve ser também são dignas de elogio.
E ainda por cima os preços são muito razoáveis, algo que normalmente não se encontra no Bairro Alto.

Sehr schönes Lokal, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet.
Sehr freundlicher Empfang , sehr gemütlich .
Valdo ist sehr stolz auf sein lokal und hat uns erklärt was er noch alles ändern will.
Das Essen war super lekker und der obligatorische Espresso ein Traum.
Werden auf alle Fälle bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder bei ihm vorbeischauen.

Très bonne expérience. Manque un peu de garniture tout de même dans la pizza et dans les lasagnes. Un peu plus de saucisses que 3 bouts de saucisses de tisane aurait été extra. N'hésitez pas allez y.

Restaurant très cosy, ambiance tamisée avec petit patio à l'extérieur très agréable.
Les pizzas sont à tombé, pâte fine et croustillante, la mozzarella di Bufala " bio " est très bonne.
Ne surtout pas hésiter à s'installer devant le bar pour regarder le pizzaïolo faire vos pizzas.

Ich bin absoluter Pizza-Fan und von der Pizza begeistert. Ohne Reservierung mussten wir ca. 10 - 15 min warten. Der Service war aber sehr gut und das Essen fabelhaft. Die Preise sind definitiv fair für das gute Essen und Lissabon. Die Karte ist online ersichtlich. Wir saßen am Tresen weil alles voll war und konnten dem Pizza Bäcker bei der liebevollen Zubereitung zuschauen, der Pizza Ofen dreht sich im inneren, einfach ein super Restaurant.

Absolute awesome place and the most genuine Italian food I have ever had outside of Italy. An Italian friend about this restaurant: "This tastes like home." Prices are very reasonable and the ambience is really nice and comfortable. No matter where in Lisbon you are - this place is worth the trip!

Simple & perfect. This pizzeria can be described as a "teleport to Naples". Stopped in for an early dinner. Staff was super pleasant and helpful. Ordered the buffalo mozzarella and eggplant parmesan to start and an amazing pizza (Crudaiola Antonina) which had avocado on it. Crust was perfect. Perfect. Everything was delicious.

The pizza was nice a bit overpriced though. I could give four or five stars for this review for the food quality. Yet the service leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant was not full and I was ignored at the door. Then after a while the waiter came and pointed me a table. She tried to push wine or beer as a drink and kept trying to limit my options. I told I wanted a soda.
Then it came the pizza it quickly served. Then she asked me in English if I wanted dessert. I live here in this area and I haven’t learned yet that restaurants here have a pet peeve of serving locals. I was charged 5% (optional) the service which is unheard of in Portugal. I didn’t noticed that charge at the restaurant because the light is very dim there and I was tired and this is not customary and barely illegal in Portugal.

Pizza do melhor que se pode comer em Lisboa, batendo a Mercantina (apesar da pizza desta ser "mais" Napolitana) por ser bastante mais barata. A entrada foi Parmigiana di Melanzane que estava perfeita. As pizzas tinham uma massa fantástica com ingredientes frescos e de qualidade. A salsiccia tinha todo o gosto italiano, o speck idem e o gorgonzola apenas pecou por ser um pouco escasso para o meu gosto pessoal. Sobremesa de Tiramisù um pouco diferente do tradicional mas boa. Nas bebidas m louvor para o vinho da casa branco, pois não faz pensar que a escolha deveria ser outra, muito pelo contrário. Limoncello para terminar e Spritz Aperol de entrada. Por tudo cerca de 35 euros que torna a refeição low cost pela quantidade e qualidade.

Leckere Pizza, zum angemessenen Preis. Die Zutaten sind sehr frisch. Das Restaurant ist sehr toll eingerichtet und sauber. (auch die Toiletten) Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Restaurant ist in einer kleinen Seitenstraße und der Eingang ist leicht übersehbar, beim ersten Besuch muss man etwas genauer danach suchen. Es lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall.

Vam anar-hi a sopar i ens va sorprendre gratament. Les pizzes erene excel·lents, amb ingredients de qualitat i el tamany just. D’entrant ens vam agafar mozzarella fresca amb tomaquet i també estava molt bo. L’aigua costava 1€ cada ampolla de 50cl. I el tracte era genial. Això si, nomes es pot reservar fins a les 7, a partir d’aquesta hora s’entra per ordre d’arribada, nosaltres vam esperar uns 15 minutets. Sense cap mena de dubte repetiré!

Está especificada como una de las 10 mejores pizzerias de Lisboa. No cabe duda, las pizzas son exquisitas.
No tuvimos que esperar mucho para que nos dieran mesa ni tampoco esperar a que nos sirvieran.

Genuinely good - Italian-style divine pizza constantly coming out of the decorative oven, prepared with a good sour dough, prized between 8,50 and 13 Euros, that is certainly the main reason why this restaurant needs quite some staff to cope with high demand not only from guests but also delivery requests. Still, Valdo Gatti manages to feel like a relaxed and friendly place with an unusually high focus on quality given it's prime location and popularity. Try their salads, the house wine was nice, too. The Tiramisu tended to be on the small and less remarkable side, though.

Servizio ottimo, camerieri che parlano italiano. Locale molto carino, non grande ma ben strutturato. Prezzi nella media delle pizzerie di Lisbona.

Really great restaurant. I can't fault it! The food all tasted so fresh and delicious it was such a pleasure to eat here. The restaurant had great ambiance and the staff were all delightful. We had two pizzas, two puddings, two beers and four digestifs for €63. Most of that cost was the booze as the food was very reasonably priced at between €8-12 a pizza and €4-5 for dessert.
Be sure to book a table as the queue to wait went out into the street!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and would visit again!

The bruschetta had me at b. Pasta al forno could've used a bit more creative seasoning (something as simple as a bit of basic pepper would've been nice, even if it had been provided separately). Nevertheless, the place is nice, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. That being said - the pasta alone won't be enough to feed a fully developed dude.

Service doesn't exist (no waiters came to take our order for about 10-15 min - the restaurant was semi empty). Furthermore, while I was trying to pay by card they input the 5% service fee which is specifically said to be OPTIONAL. The food was okayish. Although the dough of the pizza was good, the margarita pizza taste was flat and grey. The parmigiana was boring as well. Doesn't worth the price!

Das Valdo Gatti liegt im Viertel Bairro Alto und lädt zu einer fantastischen Pizza ein. Sorgen Sie nur dafür, dass Sie vorne sitzen. Die vier Tische hinten durch sind direkt an den Toiletten bzw. zur Eingangstür der Küche und eher ungemütlich. Die Pizzen und der Service sind hingegen sehr zu empfehlen. Auch der rote Hauswein war sehr lecker. Als Abwechslung zu Fleisch und Meeresfrüchten auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert in Lisboa. Danach gehts auf ein Drink ins Viertel rein :)

Settled on this place after finding lots of good reviews for this place. Staff speak English very well, served us well and were polite. Ordered two lasagna and a garlic bread. Garlic bread is outstanding, can totally agree with everyone else that the pizzas are top notch. At this point the review would have had 5*.
Unfortunately both of the lasagna dishes were cold in the centre! Had to send both dishes back as were cold. 5 minutes later, they had been replated and regarnished. Tasted fine but really shouldn't have to send food back when it is on the pricier end of the scale.
Can't recommend for this reason.

Average Neapolitan pizza at best. I ordered the Picante and the dismal amount of toppings was a joke. There were literally only 3 or 4 super thin slices of the meat topping and next to no onions.
It tasted more like a plain margharita with a slight spice to it.
I had to order an extra portion of onions just to fill the void.
With that said I did see that other pizza options in this resutaurant i.e speck seemed to have more meat and toppings.
So in all likelihood I most ordered the wrong pizza.
Also worth mentioning that the center of the pizza was a bit too soggy for my liking.
Crust was good though.
Service was prompt.
Tiramisu was good.
Still on the hunt for the best pizza in Lisboa.
This was not it.

While this is the only pizza place I ate at when I was in Lisbon, I'd be surprised if you'd find a better one. Split the margherita (added prosciutto) and I thought it was excellent. Went on a Monday night around 8 and grabbed what was probably the last available table - people were waiting, beer in hand, outside when we left. And I get it, beer and pizza go together, but when the house wine is $3/glass, your be better off with the vino. Lastly, had both the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse, and while both were good, if I had to choose one, I'd go for the mousse.

Service issues. Two pizzas, one was served ten minutes after the first, which obviously made the first one cold to eat. The server forgot a bottle of water with our order. The place is packed, and it shows with the service. The pizza are decent, but avoid the artichokes, which seem to be cooked in lemon: it tastes a lot and adds to the tomatoes' acidity, which is not a good thing. Also, avoid red wine, which is as hot as Lisbon in July.

This is an absolute insider tip. I have been to a lot of places in Lisbon. Literally, everything (all items on menu including drinks, the service, the atmosphere) is about the best value for money I personally came across in Lisbon - and Lisbon has many great restaurants. It even works with the kids. The pizza is likely the best the city has to offer. Go there and enjoy.

They do not take reservations after 7 pm, you arrive and there is a long line and then they don't have a reasonable estimate to tell you when you can have a table. Very poor service.

Food, drinks and pricing was a 5/5. Service was a 4/5 as they often required reminders of what we had ordered and on two occasions needed a re-order to ensure actual serving. They will also charge you an 'optional' 5% tip without informing you they have. They'll type it into the card machine and unless you object, you're 5% off.

una pizza così buona è difficile da trovare pesino in Italia.
Non è mia abitudine mangiare in ristoranti italiani all'estero, ma le circostanze mi hanno portato in questo posto fantastico.
Il personale è totalmente italiano, parlano tutti, oltre al portoghese anche in ottimo inglese, fanno sentire a proprio agio clienti di qualsiasi nazionalità.
Dopo gli inevitabili 10 minuti di attesa in lista, li locale è sempre pieno fino a mezzanotte, durante i quali abbiamo potuto sorseggiare birra, ci siamo seduti in un tavolo condiviso con altri in un'atmosfera da vera pizzeria italiana ma circondati da persone di tutto il mondo.
Il menù è scritto sulle tovagliette di carta, il che rende rapida la scelta.
L'antipasto è arrivato subito, nonostante il locale fosse pieno, era preparato al momento.
Poi le pizze...
Impasto fatto con farine di alta qualità è perfettamente lievitato.
Il cornicione di dimensioni proporzionate alla pizza e contemporaneamente soffice e croccante ma non umido ne gommoso.
La cottura impeccabile, colore dorato con la giusta brunitura, senza la minima carbonizzazione.
I condimenti di altissima qualità e assoluta freschezza, sono dosati con armonia e gusto da chef.
I piatti sono tornati in cucina completamente vuoti, quasi lucidi.
Non indico volontariamente l'antipasto o il tipo di pizza che ho preso, perché non voglio influenzare nessuno ne in senso positivo o negativo con i miei gusti personali.
Locale che consiglio vivamente.

La vera pizza italiana in una piccola Rua del Bairro Altro, quase a limite del Principe Real.
Sono stata con il mio compagno per la prima volta questa settimana, dopo aver sentito da amici buoni reviews a riguardo.
Poche scelte di gusti ma hanno nel menù le pizze classiche più conosciute. Ottimo l:impasto, friabile e leggero, e gli ingredienti sono davvero freschi.
Parola di una che per 5 hanno há fatto la pizzaiola e gestito pizzeria al nord Itala.

Make sure to enjoy this place before it gets crowded (and I foresee it happening really soon). Neatly designed, amazing pizza, fresh organic ingredients. We had the chief coming up to us to tell about their specials. All the stuff was extremely friendly. Overall experience exceeded expectations. Coming with more friends tomorrow already!
