Location, location, location! Kumar-Doner Kebab stands happily as the example of the contemporary "round the corner cheap Caffe", at the entrance to a residential area. Geographically it can be construed as the end of downtown and the beginning of the residential area from the Field of the Martyrs of the Fatherland to Great Field where Lisbon ended. It was a new Lisbon when it was built to be a 20th century metropolis (that became the vibrant local Lisbon at the start of the 21st), known fondly as the New Avenues area. So Kumar-Doner is nice outside Caffe to sit for afternoon's end drink, looking at Lisbon's traffic but only part of much more to explore. Not everyone's cup of tea but certainly a place for one!

Eine schöne kleine Pizzaria in der zwar kein Deutsch oder Englisch gesprochen wird, aber die Bedienung war sehr bemüht denn noch die Bestellung freundlich und geduldig aufzunehmen. Die Pizza war ebenfalls gut. 1 Stern Abzug weil mir das Innere der Pizzaria nicht gut gefallen hat und man leider alternativ nur an der Hauptstraße essen kann. Der außen Bereich ist aber trotzdem angenehm gestaltet. Preis Leistung sind hier gut. Für eine große Pizza und 2 Getränke wurden 10,40 € fällig.

וואו וואו!!
ממש פחדתי שלא יהיה לי מה לאכול בליסבון ושאני אצטרך להתעסק ב"איפה אני אמצא משהו שאני יכולה לאכול" ואז אני ובעלי הגענו לכאן לגמרי במקרה, מקום מושלם מבחר של אוכל פיצות פסטות המבורגר פלאפל כמו שלא אכלתי אף פעם, ומעמיסים בכל טוב בלי קמצנות! הכי טעים שיש בליסבון, והמחירים מאוד זולים, פיצה גדולה עולה 8 יורו וטעימה כמו באיטליה. פשוט מושלם, הקל לי את החופש ציון 10 מ 10. (בונוס- זה ממש קרוב למלון )

Nice service, regular prices, nice deep plate pizza, crappy salami, crappy hamburgers. No ketchup, mustard, nor mayo, just some pizza oregano-tomato sauce and yogurt sauce.

Posto davvero carino ed economico; riguardo al cibo la qualità non è delle migliori ma tutto sommato il personale è l atmosfera lo rende un posto molto pratico e veloce, uno di quelli a cui pensi per primo quando non hai voglia di cucinare!!

O ambiente não é grande mas o atendimento é ótimo. Já fui, já voltei e pretendo voltar novamente. O Kebab é muito bom e suculento. O Doner Box também é bom. O Imperial é bem gelado e na pressão. Além disso possui amplo horário de funcionamento. Recomendo.

Очень приятное место. Чистые столы, уютная атмосфера, вкусная пицца, приветливый персонал. Маленькая пицца 5,5 большая 7,5 евро, цены очень приемлемые. Отличное место. Рекомендую

Un kebab que al ser hindú solo dispone de carne de pollo. También hay gran variedad de pizzas que también están bastante buenas. El personal fue muy amable. Abre prácticamente durante todo el día hasta muy tarde.

Tercios de SuperBock a 1.25€. Pizzas para dos personas a 7.50€, e individuales a 5.50€. Muy buenas. Diminuta y acogedora terraza sobre plataforma de madera para salvar los muchos desniveles de las calles de Lisboa. La camarera es una de las pocas hindúes simpáticas que encontramos en Lisboa

Super tasty kebabs (both the wrap, as well as the plate which comes with fries) and pizza (which the kids got, and really enjoyed) at very reasonable prices. We were in Lisbon for four days and ended up eating here twice because of the quality of the food, the reasonable prices, and the nice people who run it.

Pequeno mas acolhedor. Come-se bem e com boa relação preço/qualidade. A esplanada apresenta um bom espaço onde é agradável estar apesar do trânsito mesmo ao lado.

We called earlier tonight to make sure they still had gluten-free pizza since I am highly intolerant and we had some there last December. My boyfriend had the regular one and we both thought they were not too bad for the price, nothing fancy but gluten-free options are rare so we decided to go once more. So we ordered and went to pick it up. On the phone, no one could answer us properly and we speak french, english AND portuguese! They still assured us that our order would be ready. 20-25 minutes later when we arrived... they were waiting for us, empty-ended, telling us that they had not prepared the order since they had no gluten-free crust! They had our number, and yet they offered us the WORST customer care experience we have ever had. They treat their guests so poorly, you should look elsewhere. Even a tuk-tuk driver nearby told us that we could easily find better and cheaper options, alas not gluten-free. Keep looking :)

Was soll man dazu sagen? Döner im Ausland ist eine schwierige Angelegenheit. Das Brot war gut. Die Salatauswahl etwas anders (Blattsalat, Karotten, Zwiebeln, Rotkohl), der Rotkohl schmeckte wie Sauerkraut. Die Tzaziki(?) schmeckte nach normalem Joghurtdressing OHNE Knoblauch. Auf einem Döner kein Knoblauch!!! Dazu gab es eine rote Soße, die wie der süße Dip zu Frühlingsrollen schmeckt. Ob das an den indischen Inhabern liegt...? ^^ Aber der größte Kritikpunkt ist das (Hähnchen-)Fleisch. Fade im Geschmack, sehr dünn geschnitten, aber überbaupt nicht kross. Die Portion war nach deutschen Maßstäben klein. Das erklärt auch, warum mich die Bedienung entgeistert ansah, weil ich keine Beilage wollte. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns sofort die Karte erklärt, auch was ein Doner ist ;) Alles in Allem ganz ok. Mehr aber auch nicht. (Nicht der beste Döner der Welt :p)
