LOVED, LOVED, LOVED The Bar. I met so many friendly people from all over the world there. The bartender Teresa is the warmest, most inclusive and most fun. Can't recommend this place enough !

I love this Bar. Fantastic little Bar in one the best neighborhoods in Lisboa. It’s small but has an amazing warmth and welcom-ness to it. Great drinks . It’s a great place to start your evening adventures or to end them with a glass of vinho verde . It’s become my place to hang out and mingle a little when ever I’m in town.. Theresa pours a fantastic too

This place came highly recommended from my hotel concierge in Lisbon and it certainly didn't disappoint. The Bar is definitely the place to be if you're looking for an uber-cool, mellow venue that serves fancy drinks and attracts like-minded people. Teresa, whose very down to earth, brought the chill factor of what Australian bars are known for to the Lisbon scene and there's no place simply like it. Being a fellow Aussie, I felt at home and very welcomed. As a bar connoisseur who treks around the world and often thirsty, I give this 10/10

Definitely recommend this bar !!
Situated in the center where you can find many other places... But The Bar, as it's name this is the bar where you have to go.
Nice bar, nice decoration, delicious cocktails, always with a sweet smile from the Teresa.
She will welcome you and make you feel at your ease.
I use to go to this bar, because it is also a nice place where to meet nice and interesting people.

Localisé dans le centre ville de Lisbonne avec pleins d'autres endroits pour faire la fête et découvrir la ville. Non loin du Bairro Alto en plus !
Comme son nom l'indique, c'est Le Bar auquel vous devez vous y rendre !
Jolie décoration, cocktails délicieux préparés par Teresa la patronne qui juste charmante, accueillante et avec un grand coeur.
Elle saura vous mettre à l'aise, je vous le garantie.
C'est un bar où vous pourrez rencontrer de belles et intéressantes personnes.

What a great find in the coolest neighbourhood in Lisbon, The Bar is funky and has an excellent vibe, especially the fantastic street art commissioned for the interiors, it is sleek and modern and you can get anything from a local beer to an exotic cocktail. Staff were very helpful and even gave tips on places to go and see...and it is owned by a cool Aussie chic. I have recommended this place to go to and I will be back.

I mean - just an amazing spot to get an amazing drink. Teresa is incredible - but it’s her love and passion that she puts into every drink - cocktail, beer, wine - or Juice! - that sets this apart. A must stop when in Lisbon.

The owner (Teresa) makes delicious and high quality drinks, pays attention to everybody in the bar and can give good recommendations on other bars. The music mix and atmosphere are sublime. Easily the most relaxed and recommendable bar in Lisbon.

The Bar is my first stop whenever I hit the town. Quite often, I just wind up there until closing... lol!!
Very cozy lovely intimate modern layout in a great location with a lovely heart of a bartender and yummy drinks (the Bloody Mary.... mmmmm).
Teresa befriended me 4 months ago and since I have the privilege to meet wonderful people and make new friends even though I don’t live here (yet), I feel as if I do when I walk in. It is difficult not to make friends actually.
Come as a group or come alone The Bar is a lovely place to meet people and have a drink or two ;)

A hidden gem in Lisbon! I had several great nights here at this intimate venue in May. Super friendly host, good drinks selection, frequented by many interesting people, and the music was really fun (which may have resulted in several impromptu dancefloors!). I’m looking forward to visiting again soon!

The Bar is a gem in the often underwhelming and overcrowded bar scene in Lisbon. The owner, Teresa, is super welcoming and has created an amazing space. She also makes the best Dark & Stormy in Lisbon. You'll find a mix of expats and locals.

Teresa is a wealth of information for visitors and expats to Lisbon, the cocktails are too die for and the beers cold.
There´s generally a few interesting people in the bar that Teresa makes sure to introduce you to so you suddenly like your part of a group which can be great when your travelling solo, and then there's Teresa herself who is unfailingly upbeat and chatty to all her patrons.
As an old Ozzy icon used to say, "do yourself a favour and just go there".

Great little bar in Principe Real, Lisbon.
Off the main Street this little bar aims to please, great cocktails (killer Negroni selection) fantastic playlist & a very friendly owner, she is a wealth or knowledge and has great chat, the local patrons are super friendly too. A must on your Lisbon travels.

Beautiful drinks, great experience.
I went there twice while in Lisbon (Tuesday and Saturday) Teresa was a great hostess and is a gifted mixologist.

Me and my friend randomly found The Bar once we were in Portugal walking in the neighborhood. We had a great and cozy night there, drinking beers and talking with Teresa, the owner. Teresa has such a great and strong personality, she knows how to make people feel like they belong there. The music was good and the place very well kept. Definitely one of our favorite bars in Portugal. I highly recommend!

The Bar is THE bar in Lisbon. Having been a local in Lisbon and having tried a bunch of different bars there, I can wholeheartedly say that this is the best bar in town.
Lovely Teresa makes some of the best cocktails I have had in my life, not shying away from creating tasty twists on classic cocktails or creating whole new ones herself.
The Bar is always filled with loveable people, some regulars, some only temporary, but always great.
If there was one place in Lisbon that I would like to take with me to everywhere I go, it would be The Bar.

The Bar is definitely one of the coolest bars in Lisbon. It is run & owned by the lovely Teresa who makes the most lush cocktails in Lisbon. Teresa is a wealth of knowledge for those visiting Lisbon for the first time. Great music great vibe check it out so worth it !!!

Why this bar is located a little off the Beaten Track it is a must visit place when in Lisbon!! hostethe owner Teresa is a really friendly Australian who loves to chat with all who visit the bar and recommends perfect drink for everyone there and we were sorry that we could not spend longer in the bar with her!
There is also a fantastic street art mural on the wall of the bar we intemd ti return again soon thanks!!

Highly highly recommend, a great bar off the beaten track. Super cool concrete brutalist bar with a bar tender who knows a great cocktail. Everything on the menu is simple and great. Good music and the loo is an architectural wonder. As you would expect a great wine list and good value as well. Definitely worth a visit

Teresa took our order and served us with her cheeky Australian smile and laid back coolness. She's so very friendly and approachable and made us feel at home. I really like how she styled the interior of the bar, with its industrial modern design contrasted with the red neon sign 'I belong to Here'. The Bar has a wide selection of classic cocktails with some modernised or given a twist with in-season ingredients and local craft beers. I'll be there for sure next time I head south.

First place on my list whenever I hit Lisbon. Thereza is just an amazing lady. The vibe is relaxed and friendly. I actually made new friends there. And Thereza keeps introducing and connecting everybody. Don’t miss out on her smile, cocktails and genuine warmth. The bar is in the heart of Principe Real, for me it represents the heart of Lisbon. Happened to walk into this spot and, oh lucky me! What a gem. Fantastic music, great drinks and lovely Teresa to boot. I was by myself and ended up chatting for hours with Teresa and some lovely people who were also in for a drink by themselves. Had such a fab time I went back for more the next night (the only reason I didn't keep on going back there every night was that I had to leave Lisbon!). Highly recommended!

Great drinks but rather expensive for Portugal. Also the menu was very bitter for my choosing. I would like it a bit more mixed in tastes (sour, sweet, etc). But nevertheless, I had a really great and drunk time there! The owner was very kind and customized a lot for us! I recommend this place for a good time!

Found by chance last week and went there twice before leaving Lisbon.
it's cool, casual and class. "Twist and Stout" beer was excellent. A nice porter
I have already been recommending it to friends who will travel to Lisbon in the coming months.

This place was highly recommended by locals I met at the beach. So happy I checked it out! The vibe is warm, friendly and relaxed with great tunes, but still serious when it comes to the cocktail list, wines and beers that they've curated. Everything they serve is perfection, but comes to you with ease and a smile. The Aussie/Spanish chick working there is AMAZING at making you feel like you're a local, even though I had only flown in the day before! Comfortable and well designed fit-out and as others have mentioned, the wolf-girl mural is outstanding. You need to see it in person and follow the birds around the walls... Thanks for a great couple of nights. I'll be back!

We stumbled upon this little gem located in the best area of Lisbon. It is run by an awesome Australian/Spanish girl. She made us some of the best margaritas we've possibly ever had! the bar is also located near restaurants and late night dancing. If your visiting Lisbon its a great place to meet or use as a base and if i was a local i'd probably live there!!! go visit!!!

When you walk through the door you're met with an amazing feline mural by a local street artist , and neon lit back bar .
Loved the relaxed vibe and playlist. Host was amazing! Will be back for more of those cold brew coffee Negroni's!!
