What a place!
Walking up those stairs was like walking into Gin Heaven.
A wide variety of gin is available for all tastes. Staff are friendly and willing to assist with drink choices.
Cocktail presentation was impeccable and it was mixed with care.
This bar was perfect for our date night in Portugal!

It takes place in a beautiful atrium covered room in a Arab styled "clauster" with a charm that is unspeakable.
One can get everything else better elsewhere but the room has few matches and not beats it.

There are so many good things here. The Gin is obviously a focus. The building is sublime - a cross between an Indian Maharajah’s dining room (think Marigold Hotel) and a slightly shabby Italian Palazzo.
All this, mixed with great food (the Degustation menu was excellent) means it is a great evening at a reasonable price.

Excelent place to drink a Gin with friends and relax. The bartenders were very helpful since they took the time to explain the different types of gins and drinks. They prepared a great Portuguese Gin, I recommend it! Gin lovers is also located in a very nice and mystical building. It worth for a visit!

Espaço muito exótico, com uma decoração a lembrar o oriente. Funcionários muito presta eis e simpáticos. Quanto aos gins há uma grande diversidade e os que experimentamos foram muito bons.

Excellent! We went twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. We also saw a Fado performance in this venue. All our experiences were very good, food was some of the best we had in Lisbon. Staff were very attentive and clearly proud of their work. Would highly recommend.

No passado dia 15 fui pela promeira vez ao "Atalho". Serviço irrepreensível e rápido. Colaboradores muito atentos, atenciosos, simpáticos. O menú não tem grande variedade mas a qualidade e confecção é agradável. O facto de ter estacionamento é uma mais valia a ter em conta. Não sei se irei repetir mas, gostei da experiência.

Great drinks but food is only good enough and the restaurant tries too hard to be fancy without really matching the expectations. They have a good menu but all the options are entree or side dishes, lacking variety of main dishes. Desserts weren't exceptional either. Overall pretty average with a high price tag, you can find better options in Lisbon.

This hidden gem was a true highlight. We went two nights in a row! The bartenders on each night were so friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain to us the different types of gins and drinks. And then made us a beautiful Gin and tonic with smoked rosemary and orange slices. It was the best gin and tonic of my life! Gin lovers is also located in a really cool building.

Un délice du début à la fin. Cuisine légère, gouteuse et savoureuse. Nous avons pris une entrée de jambon cru, fromages etc , puis des raviolis à la citrouille et une purée aux truffes, pour finir avec une mousse au chocolat à tomber par terre. On s’est régalés, vraiment. Et notre serveur était charmant.

Restaurante muito interessante num espaço imponente onde nos distrai apenas a apreciar o mesmo. O menu não é muito diversificado mas tudo aparentemente com enorme qualidade, no entanto em pequenas doses. O preço é um bocado puxado e a simpatia não é top. O momento é muito agradável e se com desconto a relação preço qualidade é mais equilibrada.

Hard to find place. Only went in for cocktails. Our friends were ecstatic with the amount of gins that they had on offer. I personally do not like gin so had a mocktail which was way too sweet. Staff were friendly.

The bar upstairs is quite nice and there was a lovely Brazilian waitress that took really good care of us. On the other hand, on the bar downstairs, the first we went to, had a really moody and grumpy Portuguese waitress that just made us get out of there quickly before even sitting. All the gins we tried, although pricey, were quite good!

The place offer a good product but the overall value are insufficient to justify 12€ for a gin&tonic (i take ones that even don't need effort to be prepare or using original ingredients). In centre of Milan (very expansive) you find a better gin&tonic at 6/8 euros. A turists trap

Fantastic location, in an eclectic building with middle-eastern influences. The gin list is as great as the wine list. Food is fusion but delicious. Lovely staff was helpful and very nice to us. Not expensive at all for the kind of food and service.

Excellent drinks and a great place to get out of the heat and relax. Stopped in for a couple cocktails after eating at A Cevicheriaand ended up spending two hours on one of the couches reading and just generally relaxing.
Cocktails were impeccably presented and mixed and reasonably priced.
They have a huge selection of gin and tonic options which I would have tried if I weren't such a sucker for nergronis and negeoni variations.

I really enjoyed drinking and eating here! Great choice if gins and really well made with matched mixers. The food menu was fairly small but the dishes were superb (try the pork loin with clams!). If I was staying longer in Lisbon I'd go back.

Tolles Lokal, dass wir zufällig entdeckt haben. Das Ambiente in einem alten Palazzo aus dem 19. Jahrhundert in einem Mix aus Jugendstil und maurischen Elementen, ist sensationell.Es gibt eine lange Liste mit Cocktails, die wie der Name der Location schon vermuten lässt, Gin enthält.Der Service ist perfekt, die Weinkarte gut und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Man kann hier einen sehr ruhigen Abend in stilvoller Umgebung verbringen. Schön finde ich auch, dass das Gebäude nicht restauriert zu sein scheint. Dieser leicht marode Charme macht es einfach noch schöner.

I cannot comment on the food as we just stopped in for drinks. The menu is over 3 pages of gin-vased cocktails. The ones we had were very good. The best part about Gin Lovers is the space, it's set in a beautiful old building with lots of neat shops.

We arrived here late one evening.
this place by day is a shopping center which houses many Portuguese designs and at night becomes a fantastic gin Bar and Restaurant.
They have a huge range of gins from all over the world. We chose some Portuguese gin which was fantastic and we you really enjoyed our late night gin in his glorious place!!
The staircase is an amazing photo opportunity!!

Omg what a superb place. Excellent drinks in a very nice old building. Open till midnight. They also have nice gin and gin accessories to buy for take away. First of all, 14-17 euros for a gin&tonic in Lisbon is totally out of any reason. Secondly, waited 20 mins for 2 beers, which never arrived, while the bartender had chatted & laughing with friends doing nothing. When leaving, walking in front of him, the gentleman didn’t even acknowledged that. There are many little bars in the area when you can enjoy an authentic Portuguese drink without drying your bank account out.

Je denkt dat je voor de top gins naar dit restaurant / bar gaat, maar het eten is minimal even lekker als de alchohol die geschonken wordt. We hebben met een groep van 19 personen hier gegeten en geborrelt en het was heerlijk! Verassende kleine gerechtjes met top smaken. Iedereen was even enthousiast! Daarnaast was de bediening ook ontzettend vriendelijk. Wat wil je nog meer?

Nice dishes perfect for sharing and the staff was very helpful in that respect. We had the potato mash with truffle which goes exceptionally well with the mini burgers (which is just a chopped beef steak and crisps - no bun), the very sweet but good pumpkin ravioli, the lemon risotto, and the fish Tatar. All very good and tasty. For drinks we had a gin sour and a signature cocktail (based on gin of course). Of these the sour was the best by far. On the down side, the tables are poorly kid and the wait a little long. Worth a visit.

Oh my god. This place is absolutely stunning. You get massive G&Ts in what once was an old embassy building. They have over 60 different gins to try and they pair them with different interesting tonics as well.

Une soirée qui restera gravée longtemps !
Le lieu est, certes caché, mais tout simplement magnifique, et la clientèle locale (ce qui est rare à Lisbonne en pleine saison touristique). Commencez la soirée avec un gin succulent (la carte est impressionnante) et continuez avec un menu dégustation en 6 plats pour une trentaine d'euros seulement ! Un véritable régal et une vraie expérience :-)

Foi no Gin Lovers que fiz o meu jantar de aniversário, sítio fantástico.....mo espaço é lindo, a comida excelente e os funcionários super dedicados, atenciosos e disponíveis, sitio a repetir e a aconselhar

Great terrace, very friendly personnel and good drinks. The prices aren't super cheap considering what you can get for the money elsewhere in the city but they make a damn good G&T :)
I can easily recommend it to anyone who likes a good gin cocktail

Hidden away behind big double doors, there's only 15 tables in the restaurant if that. We just had cocktails at the bar and they were very tasty. The place is on the expensive side, for Lisbon €12/cocktails but their G&T menu is huge. Lots of presents available to buy for gin lovers too.

Top notch spot for fantastic gins and incredible food. There's music later making it a great place to end your day or begin your night. The service is excellent.

Um espaço diferente que mistura bar e restaurante giro e com bom ambiente, aliado a uma cozinha um pouco mais sofisticada mas com excelente sabor. Boa relação preço qualidade, recomendo.

"Uma parte de Gin, quatro partes de tónica, a melhor parte de nós"
Este é o lema do Gin Lovers, e com uma carta com mais de 100 Gins, percebe-se o porquê.
Localizado no Principie Real, dentro do Edifício Embaixada, o espaço agrega loja, bar e restaurante e torna-se único pelo interior do edifício, que é lindíssimo, cheio de charme com um toque romântico. Embora durante o dia perca um pouco o charme, devido às lojas abertas, à noite transforma-se por completo. Aqui para além do bar, podemos jantar (no Less) e ainda comprar tudo o que seja relacionado com o Gin.
A carta de Gins é gigante, há combinações para todos os gostos e claro, preços para todas as carteiras. Aqui existem desde os mais "acessíveis" até aos "proibitivos", tudo depende claro, da marca do gin e da combinação.
Os copos são deslumbrantes e levam dos maiores "cubos" de gelo que já vi. São bons porque demoram imenso a derreter, o que tornam o gin menos "aguado".
O Gin escolhido foi o Boodles (agua tónica Fever Tree Indian, Salva e Noz Moscada) que foi modificado para ter lima e raiz de erva príncipe para ser mais cítrico e seco, sugestão que foi feita pela empregada mediante o nosso gosto e pedido. O resultado? Uma maravilha. Fresco, com um sabor intenso e um excelente travo amargo. Impecável.
O serviço foi extremamente competente, simpático e sempre cuidado. Irrepreensível e à altura de uma casa destas.
O Gin Lovers é um Bar de Gin e é muito bom nisso. Aliado a um espaço magnifico, torna-o num dos locais a visitar por apreciadores de Gin e não só. Recomendo.

I really loved the building in which this concept has risen in. It is a gem in the middle of the city. In relation to Gin Lovers itself, I thought the variety of gins were excellent, the food was very tasty, coupled with great service. Did find it slightly pricey for Lisbon and the portions too small.

The drinks are nice, the outdoor space is great. However, I felt a little lost on how the bar works. The first drink we ordered from the table to a very nice employee. When we wanted to order the second drink to other employee, he rudely said there were no table service and didn't even provide us the list.

The dish was not tasty at all. That was some terrible raw meat and a raw egg. Dessert was good though. Also we waited for our dishes and receipt for very long time. The waiter went shopping around and ignored us.

Fantastic cocktails here! The Citrus Crepitus cocktail is unbelievably delicious and extremely well crafted. Huge list of gin and tonics.
