Great service and generous sized meals. We only came in for vegetable soup and tomato on toast, plus a glass of Sangria, but they were very generous, offering complementary olives to start and a port to finish. Little extras make such a difference! On our second visit, for lunch a day later, the food and service was just as good. We had the meatballs and smoked salmon plate, both excellent. Complementary olives and Ginja were offered again. Don't miss this fine place to eat!

I had the Almondegas and it wasn’t anything like what it should taste. The meat was probably microwaved. Service was fine but food wasn’t quality.

The food here is great and the staff very welcoming. We had calamari to start which was perfectly cooked and very fresh. For mains we chose Dourado with grilled vegetables and prawn linguine - both were delicious. Great value for money too. I'd highly recommend if you are looking for straightforward, well cooked food at a good price.

Visita al barrio de Alfama. Bien. De entre todos los restaurantes elegimo este por su encanto, par de mesas en el exterior. Menú atractivo.. Pero, no! A ver... Tabla de quesos, 3 quesos. Pan con tomate(tomate frito de brik). Calamar frito, minitapa de 6 rodajitas 8€. Croqueta de pato acompañada de mostaza de dijon para poder tragar, compacta o más . Diria que la cocina era más de Siria que Portuguesa. Llega el plato principal, una butifarra de no que en su interior, porque la capa de frito externa mataba cualquier sabor que allí hubiera. Y si pides cerveza limón.. Limón no Le faltarà, natural. Lo mejor el postre, un sorbete de vodka y limón. Nuestra camarera genial, un encanto, pero no suple todo lo demás. Como vaya Xicote les monta una buena!

Absolutely delightful experience.

Great little place, we had the cod fish cake, fried calamari and prawn pasta for lunch. Fresh ingredients and the staff are so friendly and nice definitely recommend!

We went here just for a drink, which was good. The staff was kind but we had to pay more than advertised. The drinks were 2 euros each but the receipt said 2.,60... So if you go here, check the receipt before paying!

Amazing place! Dourada was delicious and the staff makes an extra effort to make you feel welcome. Nice wines, good choice of food and tapas. They work on Sunday during the day, very few places do. And the prices are much lower than downstairs by the ocean.

We had the codfish salad and it was enough for a light lunch for two people for only 6 euros!! The cod is fresh and the food was extremely delicious for a sunny day in february.( We ate on their cute terrace in a queit little part of town). The service was amazing, the woman was really attentive and they gave us free olives and digestive portuguese alcohol for dessert. Overall, 10/10 for the location, price, food quality and service!!!!! I would say it is worth it to go out of your way to visit one afternoon

Very basic food which was not very good based on the description on the menu.
For example, the garlic rice was quite greasy and was literally rice with slivers of garlic cut into it. The rice did not taste 'garlicky' and was not very pleasant.
The service and location was good, the olives were excellent but generally the food was lacklustre.
Not worth the visit.

We were looking for a place in the area with some tables outside, so that we could enjoy the good weather. The place is small and cute.
The waitresses were nice but very slow, even though the place was absolutely empty, it took them ages to serve, even the beverage.
Also, we ordered a cup of tea and they brought us the bag of tea on the side and the warm water which was BROWN and smelled like coffee. When we asked the waitress why the water was brown, she said its from the coffee machine and asked if we want to change it... Undoubtedly (and a little shocked by this) we asked to change the water and we got a new glass of water which color was more of a transparent one, but there still was an obvious coffee smell and taste coming from it...
The food was very average:
The sardines were not tasty, the shrimps were a small portion and absolutely over-cooked and chewy, the bean salad was good.
Overall, too expensive for what it offers. My rating would be 2,5 stars.

Pequeño bar , también tiene un par de mesas en la calle.
Ideal para ir con amigos a tomar unas hamburguesas y sandwiches.
Hay que llegar andando o en taxi, no hay aparcamiento cerca para coches.

Fatally :( Very slow staff, weak organization, we were waiting for our order almost 1 hour (!!!) despite the fact that the restaurant was empty. After this - 1 dish was missing and another one contained hair :( Half of family left this place hungry and disapointed :( Even drinks were incomplete and the bill was incorrect (watch out!). I dissuade.

Restauracja mała, ale mimo to obsługa pogubiła się z zamówieniem. Jeden napój dotarł po interwencji u kelnera, jedno danie główne nie dotarło wcale. Bardzo małe porcje. Koszmaru dopełnił włos w sosie i próba doliczenia do zamówienia rzeczy nie podanych.

Przeciętna obsługa, długi czas oczekiwania na jedzenie mimo tego, iż lokal był pusty, punktem kulminacyjnym był włos w zupie oraz pominięcie jednego zamówienia. Zamawiany stek smakował jak podeszwa od buta. Odradzam.

Excellent petit restaurant avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Les serveurs y sont sympathiques. Olives et porto offerts par la maison. Sardines très bonnes lors de notre 1ère visite, un peu moins lofs de notre deuxième visite.

Great food, excellent friendly service - recommended.
Very unassuming place but great food. The pork cheeks were melt in the mouth and very tasty.
The waiter (from Nepal) was excellent and the complimentary glass of port at the end was a nice touch.
Hoping to have a chance to return to sample more dishes - which is very rare for me!

Very friendly little restaurant with good food; the mushroom risotto was exceptional in my humble opinion. Ate here several times and would recommend it to friends. Oh, and i mustn't forget about the complementary ginja or port at the end of the meal!

What an excellent place for a quick lunch. Coming with an Italian, the chicken pasta almost made us revert from this place. Luckily, we decided to stay and had an amazing lunch. Pulled pork burger and paella was excellent, stuff is attentive and very polite. Portions were perfect for lunch. We were also lucky enough to sit outdoors and enjoy the sun. Overall, 6 stars.

Very friendly staff with good food and great value for the large portions. I recommend their seafood dishes, especially the seafood paella (better than many I’ve eaten in Spain!). Decorations on the walls are a little weird and definitely angled towards Americans/ tourists

Comida con sabores sorprendentemente agradables. Platos muy llenos, cantidad suficiente para no quedarse con hambre.
Personal muy amable y profesional, aunque el servicio fue un poco lento.
Local pequeño (capacidad de unas 20 personas) con decoración estilo mediterráneo.
Muy de agradecer la INVITACIÓN final a chupitos.
Relación calidad precio normal.

Restauracja prowadzona przez Hindusów, ale kuchnia portugalska i europejska. Panowie bardzo mili i życzliwi. Dobre jedenie - jedliśmy świeże grillowane sardynki, wegetariańskie spagetti i popiliśmy sangrią w ogromnym kieliszku - w dwóch odsłonach- czerwonej i białej ( ta pierwsza lepsza) Wszystko w rozsądnych cenach.
Odstrasza wystrój restaracji- jest tam wszystko- na ścianach sztuczne kwiaty, rysunki chomikow, koni itp
Ale jedzenie polecam.

Случилось обедать в этом месте дважды. Вкусная кухня, достаточно быстрое и душевное обслуживание, доступный уровень цен. Небольшое помещение зала, но есть столики на улице. Однозначно рекомендую.

Heel erg goed eten en goede service aan tafel. Hier is iets van het huis ook echt iets van het huis. Bijzonder aardige bediening en een erg goed samengesteld menu! De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg hoog hier! Aanrader!

Sehr freundliches Personal!
Essen schmeckt super! (Wir hatten eine Dorade, den Lachs, die Sardinen, dazu Kartoffeln und zwei Salate) alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt.
Ein Besuch ist aufjedenfall zu empfehlen!

Calidad - Precio muy bueno, somos de comer y hemos acabado llenos, la hamburguesa vegetariana tenía un sabor buenísimo.
Muy amables, atentos y detallistas, han tenido el detalle de ponernos unas olivas a cuenta de la casa e invitarnos a unos chupitos de vino de Porto ó Licor de cerezas. Lo recomiendo 100%

So good! It was an unplanned visit and we couldn’t be more pleased! We had the sardines and they were amazing, beef cheeks in wine and bacalhau! Everything was very tasty! Make sure to get some garlic rice as well.

It was the best experience one could have when visiting a Restaurant. Absolutely amazing service (especially by Himu).
The food and drinks were just divine and atmosphere amazing, they even changed song to Portuguese on our request so we could enjoy it more. The food was just brilliant, I had the best paella ever and all my friends have enjoyed their meals too. Sangria was really tasty and came in a big glass.

Ran into this place for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Small inside with some outside seating but the service is great and food was fresh and tasty! I had pasta and tried some egg with prawns and veggies. It was VERY good.

Muy buen trato, amabilidad, excelentes platos vegetarianos. Hemos venido dos veces a cenar en uno de los casos hamburguesa vegetariana y en otro caso bol de verduras. Además la bebida está asequible y no pretenden cobrarte por una jarra 6€.

Cute little spot to have lunch and a pit stop around the corner from the flea markets. The vege bowl was delicious and a refreshing break from all the meat! The staff were really friendly and efficient. Shout out to our Nepalese waiter!
