A warm inviting atmosphere is matched by the delicious food and drink. The burger is next level and the toastie puts others to shame. Must eat here if you’re in Lisbon...we are planning on coming back tomorrow night as well. See you there.

Terrible service. They can’t cut a slice of a pie if the kitchen is closed. Maybe next time i should seat outside and ask in english. Otherwise a cool place i used to go before ;)

Nice and cozy place to have food or a couple of drink. Very helpful and friendly staffs and good service. Great and relaxing atmosphere when sitting outside sipping a drink. Prices are affordable and its often packed with people.

Mon coup de coeur à Lisbonne ! Terrasse à l'écart des voitures, avec un plaid prêté si on a froid. Les boissons et tapas ne sont pas chères mais copieuses et très bonnes. Bonne ambiance, accueil chaleureux. Rien à redire, n'hésitez pas si vous cherchez un bar traditionnel portugais à l'abri des touristes ;)

W Josephine jedlismy brunch - bardzo pozytywne wrażenia. Jedzenie smaczne, super miła i pomocna obsługa. Zona była zachwycona jogurtem z granola i owockami ;) Mi starczyła jajecznica z łososiem ;)

Simpatico localino zona Intendente, leggermente decentrato dal traffico. Personale gentile, ampliato il n. di tavoli all'esterno rispetto al passato Abbiamo provato la ccolazione con uova e salmone e buona spremuta d'arancia (il succo di mela e arancia non lo avevano) Euro 7,90 e brunch completo con anche altri affettati, meno uova, yogurt con muesli e macedonia di frutta 1 piccolo pancake, 1 croissant, Euro 11,50. Io uno dei 2 il caffe non era incluso inoltrre abbiamo chiesto acqua da bere x il brunch ed e' stata conteggiata a parte nonostante non avessimo preso la spremuta. Vista passare una larga fettadi torta a cioccolato ma ormai non c'era più posto. Buon lavoro. La casa portogueisa li vicino una tappa da non mancare.

The service is fantastic, as well as the quality of the menu. One of the best burgers I have had in awhile. The prices were very reasonable as well, especially for the high quality. Our hard working waiter (who, by the way looks a bit like actor Jude Law), has one of the best senses of humor while servicing many tables. Also enjoyed the Sangria. Thank you for a great experience!

Slow service. We ordered food with dessert (04/03/19). The dessert never came and the person who took our order was having her lunch by the time we finished eating the main, which we the waited for some more time for the dessert to arrive and decided not to wait any longer and request the bill, which the dessert appeared on. The staff took it off, but not before the lady we asked said she couldn't do it as it was her colleague who took the order (she could see from where she was standing that we didn't have the dessert). They tried to say it was a mistake on the bill and not acknowledge either the slow service or forgetfulness. Priority was given to people sitting outside for some reason.

If Nice and cozy is in your destination list this is one of the many places to add! Prices on a good level of quality and location base. Their terrace is accessible for everyone as it is placed on part of this little square. Definitely a go to :)

A due passi dal centro in un piccolo quartiere della periferia c'è un pub dove servono la sera ottimi pasti dagli hamburger alle insalate e tutti a prezzi accessibili e alla portata di ognuno. Se si vuole passare una serata in compagnia, scambiando due parole con gli amici, si può fare bevendo una buona birra.

A godsend. I stumbled upon this place while thinking no one would be serving breakfast at 4pm but I was wrong. One of the best breakfasts I've had and amazing for the price. There was even a little too much food and I felt a little bad not eating it all.

The food was very good and the portion size was perfect. Had ham and cheese toastie with cheesecake. The cheesecake was very delicious. They made fresh lemonade. The waitress was very helpful translating the menu for us and taking into account my friends dietary needs.

9명이 움직이느라 자리잡기도 만만치 않았는데 안쪽에 넓은 자리가 있어서 여러명이 편히 들어갔어요.
일단 음식은 너무 맘에들어요
한국인 입맛에도 딱 맞는 음식들이에요.
무엇보다 친절한 직원들덕에 음식 맛 더 좋게 느껴졌어요.
오믈렛은 고소하고 신선했고 브런치 세트는 음료도 2잔이나 나와서 좋았고 양도 많았어요. 햄버거는 적당한 불향도 나고 베이컨도 짭조름하고 좋았어요. 상그리아는 단맛을 싫어하는 저에겐 좀 별로였지만 다른 일행들은 좋아했어요.

NOT ONLY THE SERVICE WAS SLOW, BUT ALSO WHEN WE REMINDED THEM OF OUR PREVIOUS ORDER THEY COUNTED THEM TWICE. RESULT WE WERE CHARGED 6 EXTRA BEERS AND 1 BRUSCHETTA. REALLY BAD COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THEM. WHEN WE TRIED TO EXPLAIN THE ORDER WAS COUNTED TWICE BECAUSE THEY WERE MISTAKEN, THEY DIDN'T LISTEN: WE PAID, BUT WE WON'T BE BACK. WILL NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Crooks or badly organised. They extra charged us with 6 beers we never asked, all because (if I am not wrong) a brazilan waitress got confused. Basically after our first round of imperiais we asked for another one..since the service was slow we solicitate to another waitress.. This second waitress brought us the beers, the other put the order on our table but never brought what we asked for. The first waitress got confused also when we ordered food, she brought an extra bruschetta that we consumed (and paid)although we never actually asked for (this one was brought because they don t communicate and they got confused). I am sorry but we will never return and, if possible, we will suggest our friends to avoid josephine. If I could I would give no stars!

This place is my personal favorite because of the vegetarian pasta they offer. They don't have much options though. If you are looking for a cosy place to spend some me time sit inside and enjoy their cool lemonade or a glass of red wine. The staff keeps changing. Sometimes the service can be too slow but as a said a good place to just relax and have a drink.

El día de hoy consumí 12€ por una buena hamburguesa y unas buenas papas fritas, lo conoci por casualidad ya que me encontraba en la feira intendente, sin embargo no me dejaron utilizar los servicios higiénicos (baños), la señorita fue tan mala en su respuesta que quede pazmado por su negativa tan violenta. Vivo en lisboa ya 8 meses, me he cruzado con gente tan bella, sin embargo no puedo creer que el racismo, la discriminación y la intolerancia a los latinos aún siga en los corazones de tantas personas como esta señorita, tal vez la falta de capacitación por parte de la empresa y la falta de educación en el hogar generan este tipo de personas y de actitudes. No sé si es legal o no poner un cartel que diga que no aceptan personas latinas pero si su dinero. Lamentable.

A really friendly par where to have a lovely time eating homemade quiche or French fries while drinking a very tasty glass of sangria.
The staff is super friendly and always know what to suggest and the price are super fair for the area.

Perto do local onde estava hospedada,no bairro Intendente,nos Anjos.Lugar frequentado por pessoas "descoladas",locais e sem turistas.Petiscos gostosíssimos e nota 10 para as batatinhas fritas (vinham numa caneca de metal)com molhinho à parte.Preços ótimos e taças de vinho da casa por 2.50 euros.Amei!

Un piccolo bar bistrot a Lisbona dove poter bere o mangiare con tranquillità spuntini di vari tipi. Ottimo il caffè e la birra. Cortesia e sorrisi dal personale. Una nota positiva è stata la presenza di piccoli plaid sulle sedie e riscaldamento esterno per chi come noi volevano consumare all'aperto in una giornata fresca e piovosa. Devo ammettere che è la prima volta che trovo un servizio del genere. Utile e carino per i clienti....ti senti coccolato!
Consigliato anche per il rapporto qualità/ prezzo.

This is insane, even in bairro also I get cheaper that this place. Totally u can go somewhere else around. Few places around way even better. The server was really not friendly, even to my local Portuguese friends.

This coffee shop offers awesome food and drinks for very good prices. The espresso was actually very good and the desserts they had looked very tasty.

Delicious burguer here in Lisbon! The place is small, but comfy. The staff is super nice and my order didn't take much time to be ready. Everything was clean and tasty. The decoration inside is also very interesting. The cons are mainly about the small space they have it and the price which is a little bit high considering it's a burguer. But highly recommend it. PS: they have one vegetarian option.

I would give 5 stars for food and location, but the service is very slow and not particularly proactive, and prices are a little bit high for Lisbon. Would recommend only if you have time and don't mind chasing the waiter every time you need something.

No service at all – I had to go up and ask for a menu. No one came back to take my order for ten minutes, until I waved someone down and asked if they were still taking orders. When I got my food, it didn't taste good. Obviously, would not recommend.

Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. I love that there's blankets so you can continue sitting outside in the evening. Very reasonable prices. One waitress in particular was so welcoming to us, we went back three nights in a row!!

Preços razoáveis, ambiente normal.
Atendimento duvidoso. Há pessoas da staff que são educadas. Porém, há uma atendente brasileira que não é bruta e parece estar fazendo favor.
Eu sou brasileira e não acho q seja coincidência muitos brasileiros reclamarem da diferença de atendimento que aparentemente ela faz. O que torna tudo mais idiota é que a própria pessoa é brasileira e trata seus compatriotas de maneira mal educada (sem nenhum motivo para tal). Esqueceu de onde veio, garota?
Deixei de ir ao bar quando um dia ela anuncia que está próximo do horário de fechar batendo um sino com violência. Uma coisa é anunciar aos clientes o horário de encerramento, outra coisa é bater um sino mal disposta e com força de modo que todos ficaram um pouco chocados.
É por causa de pessoas assim trabalhando num local que clientes regulares deixam de frequentá-lo.

Bel locale a Intendente... Servizio gentile e rapido. Il dehor è grande, la birra è buona e il cibo è gustoso. Ottimo locale per fare aperitivo e quattro chiacchiere in compagnia. Situato in piazza e vicino alla metro lo rendono una tappa obbligatoria per il vostro viaggio. Consiglio di provare i meravigliosi toast e l'aperitivo, dentro è intimo con un ottimo sottofondo musicale... Provatelo!

We’ve just finished our brunch, oh my god! So, so good. The Josephine burger (chorizo style patty) with egg is amazing and the home fries are really tasty.
My brunch partner had the brunch which is full of little delicacies and comes with a hot drink and juice.
Afterwards you can bask in the sun and admire the amazing facade of the Hotel 1908. Well worth a visit.

Great place. We have been here already twice on our trip. Have great burgers for a cheap price. They sell great beer (and full pints) for cheap. They have heaters outside and provide blankets on those chilly nights. Waiters also very friendly and speak English if needed.

I really liked this place.
The service was very fast, waitress was friendly and spoke perfect English.
The food was quite cheap but very good. I had a warm dish - spaghetti with eggplant. It may sounds simple but it was very tasty and full of flavor.
The place attracts trendy crowd, it is simply pleasant to sit around with a glass of wine.

Um sitio que soube aproveitar bem a reabilitação estética da zona do Intendente, onde infelizmente foram incapazes de reabilitar as pessoas, já que na área onde se vive existem problemas sociais ligados à droga, prostituição, pobreza e imigração que não são resolvidos. Portanto, não é um sitio estranho onde ao beber um café ou tomar uma cerveja, apareçam pessoas a pedirem dinheiro na parte da esplanada. Esta situada numa zona história de grande valor... Onde antigamente havia muitas indústrias, actualmente ao abandono. Os preços são acessíveis, entretanto a preços idênticos uma pessoa pode ir a um lugar mais seguro.

This is a very simple place with a well thought menu and very good service. I had cod cakes and they were cold and soggy. Also had a goat's cheese sandwich, and this was very good. Given the price, amazingly cheap including a beer, I'm giving 4 stars. But don't expect wonders.

Very friendly staff, good to have a nice beer. Only downside, they serve their lovely portuguese beer in Heineken glasses, however compensated with dEUS in the background ;-).

The staff here is great and really friendly. The location is one of my favorite in the city, with a laid back vibe. I usually have the goat cheese & honey toast, which is really amazing.

I had a very nice experience here. The staff is very professional and friendly. They also give you very good information to where to go and what to see. I ate a bit of everything the food is good so are the prices, so are the drinks. Highly recommended!!! Big thumbs up.

O hambúrguer da Joséphine é bastante bom, óptimo espaço para almoços de fim-de-semana com bom tempo. Serviço é lento, mas são bastante simpáticos. O espaço no interior podia ser mais arejado.

L'endroit est sympa et souvent animé le personnel est agréable cependant après coup je me suis rendu compte qu'on m'avait compté en double ma boisson :(
Pas bien grave le prix de la boisson est très honnête.

This is the premier spot for Hipster Watching: Portugal Edition. Just down the square is a second-floor apartment-bar with live music and no sign. Need I say more? Have a sandwich and beer on the patio and bask in the pure sepia-toned coolness.

Superbe terrasse où l'on mange bien pour peu cher. Nous avons été servi par quelqu'un de très sympathique parlant très bien français et anglais. Si vous logez à l'hôtel juste en face, n'hésitez pas à venir vous restaurer des bons plats faits maison accompagné d'un bon mojito (4€ entre 14h et 21h) et pour finir sur une typique liqueur d'amande ou de cerise.

Largo Intendente is getting a bit too nice and too pretentious to my taste. Josephines is one of the places that still manage to stay relaxed... love the French crowd.
