Vraiment superbe! Une bonne table dans un quartier vivant! Pesticos à partager, belle carte de vins, endroit qui semble apprécié des citadins, à essayer +++
Ne soyez pas pressés, un peu d'attente pour une table car petit resto, mais ça vaut coup!

First of all, the service was very goodyy the stuff is trying hard. And the whole atmosphere is pleasant as well.
However the food was well below our expectations.
The fish soup was almost cold and especially the octopus was...well...bad.
Luckily there is always Portuguese wine to save the evening, vinho verde Loureiro (Ameal) was great.

Very good food, very good prices (wine bottles starting at 13,90). Their caldo verde is one of the best I’ve ever had. Their bacalhau à Brás and the porco no espeto were great. They only take Portuguese banks’ credit/debit card. Be aware!!

Une cuisine savoureuse, un accueil chaleureux, un endroit plaisant dans un quartier vivant, le tout à un prix très correct comparativement à tous les autres établissements du même type testés jusque-là. Définitivement, une belle découverte ! Je recommande chaudement :)

Cozy atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the staff member that served us who took his time to come but couldn't be quick enough to leave and therefore didn't check food details with us, or even provide a recommendation. The food took ages to be served, otherwise I would have ordered more as it tasted good! Towards the end of our meal a queue started to form in the restaurant/by the door and further in which was really off-putting.

Atmosfera molto carina, cibo buono anche se qualche errore (avevamo chiesto polpo senza aglio e l'hanno dimenticato). Dolci alle creme tradizionali buonissimi! Non prendono carte di credito straniere. Ma sono talmente carini e gentili che diamo 5 stelle

Siamo venuti due volte in questo ristorante nel barrio alto ed entrambe le volte ci siamo trovati benissimo. Tutto era davvero ottimo e preparato con cura. Ottimo menù composto da piccole portate che si possono dividere. Sevizio veramente ottimo e accurato. Buona la lista dei vini.

I was in town four years ago and ended in this cosy wine bar... I doubtless had to come back. The best pataras bravas on this side of the boarder. Everything is cooked with love and the staff is very kind and friendly. Amazing to find the same waters four years later... wow. Highly recommended. I hope the place and staff is still here next time. Muito obligado.

Personale non molto cordiale, solo uno dei camerieri è stato gentile e simpatico. Prezzi nella media.

We totally loved this place. No reservations, just go in and wait at the bar if needed. We had the best white sangria we ever tasted, learned that you can flame grill a chorico with aquardent (and consequently bought an 'assador' to do it at home) and some other simple but very tasty Portuguese dishes. We will never skip this place whenever we are in town.

En general deja mucho que desear. La comida bien, pero tardaron mucho en servirla. Hay muy poco espacio entre las mesas y sobretodo, no cobran con tarjeta que no sea Portuguesa, por lo que tuvimos que buscar un ATM, sacar dinero y volver a pagar. Bastante desagradable.

Hei, es ist eine Bar, kein Restaurant! Also bitte keine Ansprüche wie in einem Esslokal stellen. Aber was auf den Tisch kam, war sehr fein: Flambierte Chorizo und Brot und dazu einen rustikalen, feinen Wein. Unprätenziös aber fein. Was will man mehr? Einen gemütlichen Spätsnack und einen feinen Kuchen zum Nachtisch, dazu mit Freunden gute Gespräche...
Gemütliche Atmosphäre, aber fast immer rappelvoll. Nur ein einziger Kellner für das ganze Lokal lässt einen etwas warten.

We had really bad experience in the bar. We are a group of four. When we arrived, there was a table just got empty. A guy showed up, told us we needed to wait for them to finish the cleaning. So we waited next to the table, but he told us to move backwards and further, in a way like he was giving orders. We respected and moved. After we got the table, we waited long time for the waiter, but nobody came. Then there was a more private table got empty, so we told a waiter passing by that we would like to change to that table. However after waiting for a while, still nobody came, not helping us to order, not deal with the changing table. So eventually we took our things and move to the other table ourselves. But at this moment, the same guy showed up again. Told us he was the manager of the bar, it was not allowed to change table ourselves, we needed to wait until the waiter told us we could do it. Again, in a rude way like he was warning us. But we did tell the waiter. With this attitude, we just left directly. The waiter was like never show up but we totally understand since it was busy hour. What I don't understand is the manager's behavior. I've been to hundreds of restaurants and bars in Lisbon but have never seen anyone does management by giving orders and warnings to clients. We don't know the rules in his bar, if we did wrong, he could have told us politely. We are not people that don't make sense. However his attitude was like he was trying to kick us out and he did. The manager was the worst part in this bar. The bad rating is for him.

Desastre absoluto. 1 hora en servirnos la comida que habíamos pedido. Platos de cantidades ridículas y de calidad penosa. Un 0. Para no volver nunca más. Durante toda la cena no nos han retirado ni un solo plato ni una copa servicio horroroso. Hace unos años estuvimos y no tenía nada que ver con lo que nos acabamos de encontrar.

We were taken to this restaurant by my wife’s cousin who is a local in Lisbon. He and his friends come here regularly. I see why! This was one of our very best food experiences in Europe. Part of it was the company of a family member who is such a great person and lovely to talk to but I will tell you the food is absolutely incredible!

No es el mejor de la zona pero tampoco el peor. Algo caro según el plato, porque parece que los precios están puestos al azar (no me parece normal que unos huevos revueltos cuesten lo mismo que un plato de bacalao...).
Recomendamos el bacalao a bras, estaba rico.
El servicio es bastante lento, hay mucho ruido y las mesas son pequeñas y están muy juntas, lo que resulta incómodo porque no caben los platos.

El sitio tiene bastante encanto. Es pequeño y suele estar lleno.
Debe ser de los pocos sitios en Lisboa que no te ponen entrante y que te preguntan si quieres pan.
No somos la mejor opción para guiarse por nuestra opinión porque fuimos con la idea de picar algo simplemente. Nos pedimos dos copas de vino y una tabla de embutidos / fiambres variados portugueses (ver foto). Estaban buenos, aunque poco variado: había tres variedades de quesos.
Precio: 19€
¡¡¡Tened en cuenta que no se puede pagar con tarjeta débito o crédito que no sea portuguesa!!!

Food wasn't good at all! We ordered a salad (that we haven't even touched it), patatas bravas (was nice), and a stake&egg that was over cooked and had pretty bad taste!
For "desert" the palace take payment in cash only. We discovered it when we went to pay the check.

Small restaurant in the Bairo Alto. Better come here a bit earlier because around 8pm. is already super crowded and the queue is longer and longer. Very tasty and fresh prepared food. Small portions but enough to make you not hungry for next few hours. Very good prices. Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Absolutely loved.

Recommanded to us by a local Portuguese but we were not impressed at all. Food is ok, nothing exeptionnal. They charged a bottle of liquor instead of a glass and said it was a mistake. They don't mention that they don't take credit cards so while my husband went to the ATM they kept me as hostage until he comes back, making sure I don't leave. It was a very uncomfortable situation. Bad experience, we wish we never went in.

Ottimo. Locale davvero carino e tipico, troverete un'atmosfera davvero piacevole. Consiglio una visita (Non andate tardi altrimenti vi tocca aspettare fuori) . I prezzi sono nella media ma piuttosto che andare nei ristoranti trappola del centro di lusso, piuttosto fate un giro qui in bairro alto . In 2 abbiamo speso circa 30 euro per 1 polipo (molto buono) 2 piatti di baccalà (quello con l'uovo è buonissimo) e 2 birre. Purtroppo non aveva sardine .

Locale caratteristico dove è possibile gustare ottime pietanze a base di pesce ad un prezzo contenuto (35 euro in due con birra da 60cl in piatto di polpo e due primi). Il servizio è un po' lento ed è probabile dover attendere prima di sedersi a tavola ma ne vale veramente la pena.

This is a hidden gem in the middle of Bairro Alto. It’s pretty crowded from 21h, so come early! It’s really packed later in the evening, too much if you ask me.
The food was great, with 2 persons we shared 5 dishes. This was quite a lot, so take it easy - four would be perfect but save room for dessert!
My favorite dish was the cod, so delicious, fresh and great perfect taste. The cheese and sausage platter was great, the salmon didn’t taste super to be honest. Could me more fresh and soft, not bad though. The only disappointment was the beef chili, it wasn’t that special.
But you won’t be disappointed by the chocolate trio, we both loved it! I wish they made it a less “milky”/creamy but the overall taste was great.

I'll start with the only bad thing. It is pretty cramped in here. Too many tables for a small venue, making it feel like a school canteen. I have to guess that the only reason there are so many tables is due to its popularity.
Other than that, the menu, quality of food, service, and prices are very good.
I will recommend this restaurant for a meal, but be prepared to be shoehorned in right next to other diners.

Davvero ottima esperienza, purtroppo scoperto soltanto l'ultimo giorno di permanenza a Lisbona. In due abbiamo preso zuppa di pesce, polpette di baccalà con riso al pomodoro di accompagnamento (e insalata), chorizo asado arrostito nel finale davanti ai nostri occhi, in sala, con una presentazione molto scenica, sardine grigliate con peperoni e patate, due calici di vino bianco per un totale di 37 euro!! E il cibo era tutto ottimo, davvero, soprattutto le sardine che consiglio vivamente. In più il quartiere in sé è un'attrazione, centro della vita notturna, merita una visita.

Los camareros son super-majos y la comida muy rica. A pesar de estar en el barrio alto no está lleno de turistas y la relación calidad-precio es inmejorable.

Batatas bravas e moelas muito boas... ovos rotos nada de especial e ameijoa nao aconselho, muita manteiga nao sabe a nada. Ambiente descontraido!!

Amazing little wine bar and restaurant among the tourist traps. The sardines were incredible and the pork was excellent. The wine selection is extensive as well - lots of choice for Douro Reds.

Lovely and friendly little place. Packed, warm and loud, and you'll probably need to queue a bit for a table. But the food is very tasty and good value for money (as a tourist I've ended up at other restaurants in the same area that were much more pricey and food was meh). What brings it down to 4 stars instead of 5 is the smoking indoors, especially because you're sitting on top of each other so it's really in your face. And bring cash, they didn't take card when we were there.

Very tasty food in a small tightly packed bar / restaurant. If it's busy you may get slow service or a smokey environment but the food is worth it.

The fact you can smoke inside is disgusting. It is for sure not common in Portugal anymore. The food was normal, but the sizes of the dishes were a bit disappointing.

Great Portuguese tapas and a widespread selection of wines makes this place a special one in the Barrio Alto, also for locals. Be prepared to queue for a table. Sometimes a bit too warm and packed inside. Prices are okay, however it's more expensive than other restaurants around. Try the grilled octopus, it's incredible delicious!

Nous avons passé de superbes diners dans ce restaurant. Il ne faut pas y aller pour un repas express, mais pour profiter d'un moment de découverte de la culture portugaises. Les plats sont simples mais délicieux. Le personnel (2pers en salle) est très efficace pour servir autant de couverts. Le rapport qualité/prix est top. Continuez comme ça !

Beaucoup trop de mauvais points en une soirée. Service très lent et désagréable (plats jetés sur la table sans un mot), cuisine grossière, carte bleue non acceptée contrairement à la plupart des restos de Lisbonne.

In 5 giorni a Lisbona sono andato 2 volte in questo ristorante, tipico semplice ed economico. Personale gentile e veloce, pietanze buonissime. Con 20 € si mangiano 2 portate di ottimo pesce con vino. Consigliato!

Far too expensive for what it is.. defrost, industrial food.. absolutly no interest. Very small quantities for the price .. plus smocking is allowed inside although it is a very small place

Infelizmente minha experiência neste restaurante me deixou extremamente desapontada. Primeiramente o estabelecimento permite que pessoas fumem dentro do restaurante, mesmo este sendo um local bem pequeno e sem ventilação.
Não há de minha parte qualquer tipo de 'preconceito ' por fumantes, porém acho uma total falta de respeito fumar em ambientes fechados.
Quando pedi a conta e pedi para pagar com cartão de débito, fui informada que o local SOMENTE aceita cartões do multi banco. Essa reclamação pode parecer infundada, porém, o restaurante está localizado numa das áreas de maior movimentação turística e por isso, ao meu ver, as formas de pagamento aceitas deveriam estar claramente expostas.
Pois bem, saí 'escoltada' por um dos garçons que me acompanhou até um ATM pra que eu pudesse sacar o dinheiro e pagar a conta.
Para minha maior surpresa, o garçom ao ver que não teria troco não se manifestou sobre me dar o troco. Ao contrário simplesmente falou que não havia troco ali com com ele.
A essa altura eu já estava chateada e envergonhada demais com a situação de ter saído do restaurante escoltada por um funcionário que não quis permanecer mais naquela situação e deixei o garçom ir embora com meu dinheiro, ficando sem meu troco.
Enfim, péssima e muito constrangedora experiência.

Make your Lisbon barrio alto experience worthwhile !
Tasty and cheap, very cheap, food. Friendly staff and good wine. Only niggle was that we didn't receive one dish, yet it appeared on the bill. Also some dishes were almost thrown onto our table....a bit careless...
Still really happy with the meal though, would go again.

The atmosphere is warm and cosy, the staff attentive, the prices of food low and the quality very good. Highly recommended for students which are looking for a good restaurant experience in Lisbon while on a budget.

Nous avons dîné dans cet endroit sur recommandation du routard. En entrant, nous avons trouvé les décors sympas mais les tables sont collées les une aux autres et l'endroit était très bruyant (nous pouvions difficilement nous parler en étant face à face, à moins d'en faire profiter l'ensemble de la salle).
Concernant la nourriture, elle est de piètre qualité. Le porc en sauce est sans goût et le chorizo trop cuit. Nous avons de plus eu du mal à le manger car il y avait de gros morceaux de gras.
Nous avons également été vraiment déçus par le service. Nous avons pu commander 20 minutes après nous être assis. Chaque plat de tapas nous a été servi par intervalles de 15 minutes (pourtant commandés en même temps), nous empêchant ainsi de profiter de la variété de la nourriture commandée (impossible de manger le chorizo et les batatas bravas en même temps par exemple). Pour finir, nous avons recommandé des batatas bravas supplémentaires qui ont mis 30 à 45 minutes à nous être servies.
