Excellent doctor. My wife had to attend doctor while on holidays in Portugal and he was brilliant! Very patient and friendly.

I was totally misled when enquiring about treatment by Dr Bakker. He said he would accept my EHIC card, took note of the number on the forms then proceeded with a very quick medical assessment. After he couldn't find the source of my extreme pain, I had to pay him. He was simultaneously apologetic and explaining I should have known better. Maybe if he didn't lie to me initially, I would have.

Dr. Ken has now retired and the surgery is now being run by Dr. Bakker. We needed to see a doctor on the Feast of the Assumption public holiday for our grandson and, fortunately Dr. Bakker was in work. Our grandson had a badly swollen hand following an insect bite and Dr. Bakker was very kind and gentle with him. Antibiotics were prescribed and we are pleased to say his hand is slowly returning to normal. We would have no hesitation in visiting Dr. Bakker again should the need arise.

Very good dutch doctor, he is very patient and listens to your problem. It is also very handy that he speaks English, Portuguese, German, French, and Dutch, so if you have to do business with the locals he can help you.
