Spent here a beautiful surfing-summer vacay (August 2016)! The staff were so friendly and helpful, great atmosphere and lots of fun! Rooftop chill, good food and music, and of course, everything you need for surf! Prices are fair. Would really recommend it, esp.for young active people, who enjoy parties and making new friends :)

Lovely and super helpful people. I wanted to write this review for a long time but kept forgetting. I never took any classes with them just walked in and ask for a tiny favor with some printing and without hesitation the guys helped me and didnt even know me. i really appreciate this. If i go back and take up surf they will be my choice for sure.

Super nice camp! :) Big thanks to the friendly and helpful staff and specially to the surf instructors. They are the biggest advantage of the place! Really professional, involved and passionate. They groups are small, the surf instructors pay attention to every student and always have some useful tips. I appreciated a lot the theoretical information before each surf session. Accommodation clean, cozy and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend Peniche Surf Camp to everybody! Hope to come back soon! :)

I went to peniche surf camp for a weekend and just loved it. I had 4 classes and the instructores were very kind and patient and would help me and correct me until I got it right. Very cool staff.

From the first email to the airport drop off at the end of our holiday, everyone at Peniche Surf Camp was super friendly, extremely helpful and really good fun to be around. They are very organised and the surf instruction is great. The hostel is very clean, with really good facilities and comfy beds. I'll be back!

Perfect place to surf. Instructors are the best! Organisation of surf classes is on a vey high level! Very positive friendly and open atmosphere. Still surfing is extreme type of sport so you should be ready for this. Super cool that you can come any time of the year and start classes any day of week. It was challenge and great joy at the same time. Very friendly guys at reception and cool photographer of the camp will catch your best moments on the wave! This is great place yo relax, have fun and challenge yourself at the same time!

Where to start! Lovely place. If you want chilled people; beers in the sun, fun parties for all ages and amazing energy this is your place. I travel a lot and this has somethings special and fun too it. Really superb. If you love positive energy and sun. Come here !

J'ai pris quelques cours avec l'équipe de Péniche surf camp lors de vacances dans la région. Je recommande vivement cette école. L'organisation est impeccable et les professeurs pédagogues et sympathiques. Ils s'adaptent au niveau des élèves ce qui permet de progresser. Allez-y sans hésiter !

Espectacular!!! Estuve 5 dias. Muy buena acogida, buenas instalaciones, yo estuve en un apartamento en primera linea de playa. Perfecto para combinar surf y descanso. Los monitores de surf, geniales. Todo perfecto.

The experience was great, teachers are super kind and patience. We had a truly nice time and lot of fun, the studio where we stayed was comfortable and very affordable. We strongly recommend it :)

Buen sitio para alojarse cuando vas a hacer surf. Cogimos el pack alojamiento + clases que es verdaderamente cómodo. Te permite apurar al máximo las horas de sueño, desayunar en el bar del camping y te ahorra desplazamientos innecesarios. El personal es muy amable, nos dieron facilidades para dejar la fianza de las llaves ya que no llevábamos efectivo, le dejaron una toalla a un amigo y los profesores son experimentados y pacientes con los principiantes.

C était super!!!! Je n ai pris que les cours pour ma fille 12 ans ...stage 4h par jour .elle n avait jamais fait de surf de sa vie .... au prendre cour elle avaiit compris comment monter sur la planche et quand prendre la vague .... le prof super dispo il a vraiment donné de sa personne Au 5 j de stage elle savait enchaîner un virage à gauche un virage à droite et faire une vague entière ... j étais bluffé .... Équipe sympa serviable .... ne changez pas !!!!

I booked a two-hour, private surf lesson for myself and my three kids, ages 5, 7, and 10, with Peniche Surf Camp, and it was the best experience we could have hoped and wished for. Lorenzo, who answered the phone, was very helpful, direct, and clear in helping us organize the private lesson when I spoke with him on the day before. We stopped by in person that same day to pay for half of the lesson up front. The two instructors, João and Nuno, seasoned surfers, were extremely friendly and helpful, and they made sure we had all of the equipment we needed for a fun and instructive lesson. The point of the lesson was to get an introduction to surfing, and once they taught us the basic safety information of surfing and the ocean (key point: rip tides and the channels they flow in), they got us into the water quickly and helped us to get surfing. Long before the end of the lesson they got all of the kids standing up on their boards and riding a wave, while I was still just trying to stay balanced to not fall off of my own board. And though the focus was on the kids, they also came to help me to try to get me surfing like the kids (though mostly unsuccessfully). Joao and Nuno took their time with each of the kids, and after the lesson they horsed around with us on the beach until it was time to go back. After we got changed we went for a quick coffee with them, since the kids absolutely wanted to hang out with them for a bit longer. The whole experience was friendly, fun, professional, and in no way rushed. The kids and I can highly recommend taking a surfing lesson through this surfing school, and when we make it back to Portugal and Peniche, we will definitely be coming back for more lessons and more serious surfing with Peniche Surf Camp.

Clean, nice rooms, good food. Very friendly. Especially the surf instructor team was very competent and perfectly organized. Equipment, inkl. Busses and Cars in very good shape.

Great surf school, teachers are friendly and helpful and very good instructors. Super motivated and everything is extremely well organised. We did not stay in one of the rooms at the camp, so nothing to report there. But the school itself is highly recommended.

Tried surfing for the first time ever. Conditions weren't ideal but under Capi's & JP's guidance I made more progress than I had imagined in just 3 sessions. Super cool guys and great teachers! The whole staff was nice & friendly. Our stay was during off-season so we had the dorm all to ourselves. 6/5 would recommend!

Le staff est super sympa, ils expliquent très bien et sont très pédagogues. Les cours sont intenses et les instructeurs nous motivent. Les chambres et les lieux communs sont propres, les chambres sont jolies. La salle à manger, qui sert aussi de lieu de fête, est hyper sympa et la cuisine est excellente. Une cuisine est à disposition, ce qui est utile pour se préparer des pique-niques. Il y a un bistrot et une épicerie juste à côté, ce qui est très pratique pour prendre l'apéro en rentrant des cours de surf. Les petits-déjeuners sont complets, pour le prix relativement peu cher du séjour. J'y suis allée avec Copine de Voyage et j'y ai passé une semaine fantastique.

I've taken a one-week course at this school in October 2019. It was quite a negative experience. The safety and technical training were very brief, and the instructors changed every day. I'd call it a blend of "for the record" and "throw into the water" approaches. My progress after 5 days was zero and I dropped out. I don't recommend this place if your intention is to receive proper surfing training, especially for beginners.

Stayed here for two weeks (having extended from the original one week) - this is a place where from the start your greeted by a warm and kind reception with the welcoming atmosphere being carried out by all members of staff on the premises. The surf instructors are next to none with each session being orientated around ability and skill level with great advice on how to improve and progress. I couldn't fault my experience and would 10/10 reccomend anyone to visit , what makes this place great is the hospitality from the wonderful team and staff at the camp!

El major surf camp en el que he estado. Las instalaciones son inmejorables, organización, higiene, servicios, etc. Todo lo que puedas pedir lo tienes ahí. El grupo humano es de lo mejor, desde recepción, con un trato amable y cercano hasta, para mi lo mejor, los instructores de surf. Son auténticos profesionales, se involucran en tu aprendizaje y mejora de las técnicas de surf siempre atentos y amables. Gracias Peniche surf camp, es la segunda vez que voy y como la primera no me ha decepcionado.

Great place to spend a week training your skills! The appartment deals are great for couples, with kitchen and private toilet, and a great terrace to chill. Instructors were phenomenal, they speak english and "portuñol". Special mention to Pedro for organising whatever we asked, and Capi for being a great surf maestro and singer. :D

La session d'initiation au surf parfaite, avec un super instructeur, on a même réussi nos premiers take off Le Camp est vraiment sympas, une cuisine partagée, une grande terrasse, une salle de diffusion et de ping pong. Adresse à retenir.

Very unfriendly teachers to other people, not caring about anything but themselfs and their school. Localism would the surf-term be.

Rented boards but no wax. Rented exclusive double room but they kept trying to put more people in the room. No hot water. Bar never open. No atmosphere. Been to Baleal surf Camp. Much nicer people.

Really clean and new actually . Was by my self and scored a room to my self so it was even better than expected . Good waves right out front and the staff are great . The cleaning lady is beautiful as well , about my age too maybe a bit younger but its hard to tell with the Portuguese . There all hot . Luke Benbow 2015 alive and well
