Happy shopping for Brits Abroad! You can get anything here! Marmite, HP sauce, Heinz tomato ketchup & salad cream, proper baked beans, PG tips! As well as the stuff the locals eat! Fruit, veg, fish & meat are all fresh & plentiful. You can inspect for ripeness "in hand".
Would recommend the orange juice machine where you can watch your beautiful fresh oranges get squeezed into a bottle!
Not so many beer deals or varieties as elsewhere but they're mad on wine here more.
Quite hard to budget as there's so much on offer that you want to try.
On the main road Carvoiero to Lagoa. Can't miss it. Plan a taxi back though as hills, stacks of shopping and hot sun makes you grumpy!

Boa relação qualidade/preço, prático e acessivel bom atendimento e gente simpática.
Só tenho a apontar uma situação que ocorreu comigo na secção da peixaria o qual não gostei da forma como fui atendido, no passado dia 20.01.19 dirigi-me á peixaria, quando lá cheguei não tinha nenhum empregado no seu posto, estando trés empregadas no interior da loja na zona de frios ou preparação de alimentos, esperei educadamente que alguêm surgi-se, entretanto chegou uma senhora francesa e atrás vinha a empregada o qual eu considerei uma falta de educação a forma como se apresentou pois não cumprimentou nem pediu desculpa por não estar no seu posto, colocando em espera os clts. e alêm disso não questionou quem estaria na frente procedendo ao atendimento por sua iniciativa atendendo uma Sra. Francesa que havia chegado depois de mim, esta situação deixou-me fulo, de tal maneira que já não levei o peixe nem mais nada e estou mesmo ponderando se lá irei regressar.

Habituellement satisfait, hier nous avons acheté un rôti de boeuf d'1.5 kg, quelle déception, celui-ci est inmangeable, j'hésite entre le retour à l'envoyeur ou la pâtée pour mes chiens... Problème résolu par le directeur le lendemain qui a reconnu les faits et nous a octroyé un bon d'achat équivalent. Bravo, je révise mon jugement.

Our go to grocery store while in the Carvoeiro area. Great cheese selection, wines of every kind, great butcher shop and fish monger. Loved the bakery. Lots of staff speak English. Pain du chocolat were very good.

Alles da, was man braucht!! Zusätzlich Stellplatz mit Ver- und Entsorgung für Wohnmobile vorhanden und das kostenlos. Allerdings ist die Warenannahme nebenan. Ein Lkw mit laufender Kühlanlage kann verdammt laut sein in der Nacht. Trotzdem ok.

E muito triste ver que nos últimos 5 anos o Intermarche pouco evoluiu nos seus cuidados de servir melhor os clientes. E dos supermercados de Carvoeiro um dos que tem mais clientela no entanto as maquinas self- service tem sempre algum problema ou avaria. Além disso e incompreensível, nos dias de hoje, ver os empregados das caixas a trabalhar sob temperaturas inconfortáveis pois o fresco dos Ar- condicionados nao chega a esta zona. E visível o seu cansaço no entanto são educados e pacientes. Com tanto lucro que este supermercado tira nao e ja altura de melhorar as caixas de self-service e as condições dos empregados? Sem falar claro do apoio inadmissivel que este grupo faz as Touradas pelo resto do Pais. Uma das grandes vergonhas de Portugal. Por estas razoes so visito este supermercado muito ocasionalmente. Tem muito trabalho a fazer

Large'ish supermarket on the outskirts of Carvoeiro. Large variety of food (better than the small local Supermarkets). Has a good meat Deli and plenty of fresh vegetables - handy to go to if you have a car, but also easy to get a Taxi/Uber to/from.

Ich kaufte während meines Urlaubes ständig Dinge des alltäglichen Lebens dort ein. Es gibt eine Vielzahl an Sortiment. Der Supermarkt ist sehr geräumig. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich wie in ganz Portugal eigentlich. Und ein netter Nebeneffekt: Am Parkplatz befinden sich drei Waschautomaten in verschiedener Größe. Dies kann während des Einkaufs ganz praktisch sein, wenn während dessen die Maschine läuft. So muss man nicht endlos viel Kleidung aus der Heimat mitnehmen.

Fui hoje ao Intermaché do Carvoeiro, fiquei desiludido: comprei pernas de frango assadas e salada de tomate, e a ideia em que fiquei, foi que tudo estava confecionado à demasiado tempo, dias. O frango completamente seco e sem sabor, a salada também deixou muito a desejar. Comprei outras coisas, mas embaladas. Não sei se é por estar acostumado ao Intermarché da Ericeira, Mafra ou Malveira, que prima por uma qualidade e apresentação notáveis. Acredito que existam dias maus, mas as diferenças são enormes.

Over half way through our holiday in Carvoeiro before we found this supermarket. Finally a break from all the pasta, pizza, Chinese, full English rubbish littering Carvoeiro. Bought some fresh fish, steak, veg, proper Portuguese food! Highly recommended for people looking to cook their own food while on holiday.

Un supermercato di medie dimensioni, che vende di tutto. Bene il reparto ortofrutta, con prodotti freschi a prezzi buoni. Bene anche i prodotti confezionati e da frigorifero.
Reparto personal care e pulizia casa con sia prodotti economici che prodotti di grande marca.
Bene le casse, io non ho fatto coda.

Such friend staff and huge choice of food. We were able to taste red wines as we didn't know which to pick and a super helpful and kind lady to help on the self serve checkout. Some things are slightly cheaper in Aldi however the bakery, fish monger & butcher counters were far far better than Aldi!

Bring a 1 euro coin for the trolleys. Everything you need for your holiday at great prices. There was a very helpful staff member in the wine section who helped us choose some really good, and surprisingly cheap, wines. The bottled water is all tucked away in a storeroom on the back left-hand side, as you look at it when you walk in. It can be hard to find!

Wat deze InterMarche bijzonder maakt is het flinke assortiment NL producten. Dus als je hagelslag, ontbijtkoek, conimexspullen etc, etc nodig hebt kan je hier goed terecht. Uiteraard kost het iets meer dan in NL, maar daarom ben je ook in Portugal. Verder is het een uitgebreide super, waar je ook kant en klaar maaltijden kan halen, en heerlijke grillkip!!

A loja desde que abriu em Carvoeiro que a frequento, tendo perdido muito em termos de organização.Terá de melhorar em alguns pormenores,como por exemplo,na apresentação da fruta,estando muitas vezes IMPROPRIA para consumo,e ocultando-se muitas vezes a sua verdadeira origem...têm de melhorar!....de resto é de salientar a oferta de produtos,que outras lojas Intermarché,não oferecem.

Very big hyper market with bakery/fresh fish/butcher/delicatessen counters. Plenty of parking. Very few staff in the aisles to ask for help, but very helpful if you could find one. Prices much higher than the large supermarkets in the UK. However, after one visit we found a huge Aldi one mile away with much better fruit and veg and much lower prices!

Lange Zeit war das intermarché für mich der Supermarkt schlechthin zwischen lagoa und portimao. Doch die konkurrenz schläft nicht: Aldi und Apolonia sind 200 Meter entfernt und bieten eine deutlich bessere Vielfalt und auch Qualität an Waren. Und leider sind die Preise im intermarché mittlerweile viel zu hoch.

Prima winkel. Brede sortering, ook anders dan levensmiddelen. Wat je verwacht van een winkel als deze. In het hoogseizoen zijn de paden waarschijnlijk erg krap. Nu geen last van gehad.

Has everything you could need. Bakery is lovely and fresh. Some products very overpriced compared to the UK such as suncream and laundry detergent. You can do a virtual tour of the store on Google maps (though the store is bigger than it seems on maps)

We shopped here everyday as it was generally quite reasonable, had a good selection & was only just down the road to our villa.. It also catered fairly well for my nephews diet, as he suffers with Coeliac disease.. The fresh fish counter was amazing, too, so much choice!..

Too Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Carvoeiro. Warm-Theke und frisches Sushi 1A. Frischer Fisch usw auch gut.
Im Winter allerdings aufs MHD schauen. Hier und da bleibt Abgelaufenes mal im Regal.
Das ist aber in vielen Läden in P und E so und kein spezifisches Problem in diesem Fall.

Great supermarket to stock up on all your shopping for a self catering holiday. Excellent range of items including fresh food, fruit, vegetables, wine, beer etc.
There is a takeaway Pizza Hut in the car park.

Fantastic supermarket which sells everything you could need. Reminds me of Walmarts in the US in styling and caters for everything such as foods, clothing, toys, housewares. A visit is mandatory if you're in the area and self catering.

We have gone to the Intermarche in Carvoeiro for a lot of years it is a very comprehensive supermarket. Most items you need are sold here. They also have a café hairdressers newsagents and laundry available.

Großer Supermarkt alles was Mann benötigt ist hier zu bekommen . Ein paar kleine Geschäfte im inneren des Marktes . Tabak Schneiderei etc. draußen auf dem Parkplatz gibt es Waschmaschinen und einen Trockner den man gegen Gebühr benutzen kann zwischen 4 und 8 Euro

On holiday from the UK at the time of review. Perfect for holiday makers. Very large super market with everything we needed for a great summer holiday. Flip flops sandals, hats, beach games and umbrellas parasols. Lots of beers and great meats for BBQs. They have some very tasty fresh kebabs in the deli.

Nice place to shop if you are on holiday as it stocks many foreign brands ,especially wine section there is always some wine tasting and someone available to give advice on local wined, prices moderate .it also has smaller stores offering services like , locksmiths,dry cleaning, pharmacy ,stationers among others.

Had a wide range of foods and appliances of a variety of prices and qualities. Not much local produce available and the Apolonia supermarket was labelled more clearly with helpful staff; but it is more expensive. There are washing machines available to use while you shop for a small price which is a brilliant scheme and there are useful sun shades above the car parking spaces.

Very good, reasonably large supermarket, open long hours including Sundays.
Plenty of recognisable British brands stocked, though these cost a little more than their Portuguese equivalents.
It has meat, fish, and deli counters, a bakery and a nice selection of local wines.
It also sells cheap household items if your holiday apartment has too few plates or cups!
I lost count of how many packets of custard tarts we bought from the bakery during our time there....

Mooie grote supermarkt met goede verse producten. Prijzen zijn redelijk en eenmaal daar geweest hoef je verder geen andere winkels te bezoeken omdat er alles verkrijgbaar is wat je dagelijks tijdens je vakantie nodig hebt.
