On the google maps app the hours for dec 27 were marked clearly as closing at 6:30pm. We arrived at 532pm and it was closed and the sign on the wall said the places closes at 5pm. Advertise your times accurately.

Amazing wine tour in a beautiful setting. The wines were spectacular and surprising. As a white wine drinker this tour was perfect, but also their red wines were quite different than anything I’d tried before. Definitely worth a visit. We paid for the premium tour with locally sourced tapas. Senseational. It was also great to hear the story and history of Casal Sta Maria. A great way to relax and experience Portugal from the other more touristy attractions.

Beautiful hidden winery. The quality of the wine is great, with a good variety on show. The tour was really interesting, and not just focused on wine making but on the incredible history of the property and the character who brought it back to life after it was abandoned in the 1920s. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the views are amazing, and they have a beautiful garden as well as the vines.

Nice atmosphere and ok wine, friendly guy who did the tasting but did not explain clearly that the tasting was 10€ per glass of local wine when originally explained it was 15€ to taste 3 wines. So was quite shocked to pay €30 for 3 glasses of wine and that soured the otherwise good experience.

We had very entertaining tour and delicious tasting on a sunny winter day. Loved it, best way to start your day.

All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The view is amazing looking out over the vineyards with the ocean view

Beautiful vineyard hidden in the hills of Colares. Highly recommend the tour and tasting. Joao was a wonderful host - friendly and funny! Cannot wait to crack open the bottles we’ve brought home!
