This year is the 19th anniversary when my wife and I discovered Angelus. We keep going back every year, sometimes we take two or three holidays in Albufeira, and always visit. Always a hearty welcome from owners and staff alike. Love it.

From the moment you walked in, you were welcomed, first rate full english breakfast, definitely be going back for seconds, have the mega one, you wont regret it

Superb, we went almost every day for either breakfast or midafternoon snacks Very reasonably priced, good quality food and staff that go out their road. There was a group of lads in their teens on what was their first holiday on their own, the staff were brilliant, making sure they got a breakfast that they would eat so they would get at least 1 meal a day :)

Very friendly family bar with a good light meals/snacks menu. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly helpful staff. The bar is easily accessable for disabled customers.

You're across the road from fat cats and the aerosol hotel really nice again staff is nice it's family ruined food is really good prices are good entertainment is good it's mainly karaoke and then they have team nights where you have to come and dressed up it is good good fun

Great spot. Good karaoke. Cheap beer €2.50 a pint. One womans toilet and one mens toilet which lead to a que of 2 people most of the time. But toilets are clean and smell fresh.

We have been there several times during our holiday for the Mega English breakfast which was very nice and filling the lady who serves us is always friendly and greets us with a smile Fully recommend Unfortunately we never went in on a evening though they are open till 2am

We love this place and visit often when in Albufeira. The owners and staff are all lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Ace place to sit late afternoon and watch the world go by . We went every day we were there , except Tuesday when closed . Very friendly , lovely owners and staff . The lady owner just started to try and make Scotch eggs the one she gave me to test was very good . Go and try for your self a little gem of a place.

Lively karaoke nights hosted by Leigh, with Joao & Guida behind the bar. 22.00 - 02.00 Wednesdays & Saturdays. Quiz with Alex on Mondays from 21.00, so karaoke starts later - about 23.30(-ish!). Great atmosphere.

Seriously the worst breakfast ever. 1 sausage... burnt. 1 bacon... cremated. 1 egg... not bad. Beans... ice cold. Half a tomato. 1 slice of toast. The nicest thing was the brown sauce. €4.95. Joke.

This is one of the friendliest bars in the Areias Sao Joao area of Albufeira. Generally frequented by the over 40s (but not exclusively). The place has entertainment three times a week. Karaoke mainly, but don't be put off - the quality of the singers (with the odd exception) is top class. DJ services (at the time of writing) are shared by veteran Tom Headley, an excellent singer and guitarist in his own right and Leigh Williams, a young lady also with a fine voice. Currently fun nights are on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday. There is also an occasional paid artist on other nights. Drink prices are very reasonable and they do tasty snacks too. We have been using the bar for over 10 years and their regular returning customer trade means that there is always someone we know from previous holidays. The Portuguese couple, Guida and Joao, who own Angelu's, are the friendliest folks you could ever hope to meet. Recommended!!
