Un viaje muy agradable por la Ría Formosa y la Isla Deserta y Farol, se notaba que Alex (el guía) tiene mucha experiencia. Salimos 10 minutos tarde por esperar a un grupo y nos alargó los 10 minutos a la vuelta. Realizó las explicaciones en inglés, francés y castellano (a pesar de que yo era la única persona que lo hablaba)

Excellente visite du Rio Formosa avec Alex! Super guide qui nous a présenté les particularités du site, en français et en anglais. De bons conseils, un très-bon resto le midi avec un rapport qualité-prix défiant toute concurrence. Et pour finir une magnifique vue du haut du phare de farol. A refaire...

We done the full day tour with them. It was a brilliant experience we had so much fun. The staff were every friendly and helpful. My partner even forgot something on the boat when we were leaving and our tour guide ran after use make sure he got it back which was very nice.

Gracias a nuestro guía Alex, nuestro paseo en catamarán por toda la Ría de Formosa y sus islas ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. En cada parada, Alex nos ha explicado detallamente la fauna, arquitectura, forma de vivir de cada una de las 4 islas.... En la la isla de Culatra nos ha aconsejado un restaurante donde pudimos comer un excelente pescado fresco por muy poco dinero. Muy recomendable hacer el tour con islands4you. Muchas gracias Alex por este fantástico día.

Tried the 4 island tour, great to have a chance to swim too. Highlight was Felipe our guide who was helpful, funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Don't get long on each Island, might be worth bringing your own food if you want to explore the islands rather than waiting in restaurants. These guys have baby life jackets and were happy for us to bring our 5 month old along. Boats have full sunshades which were great.

We've booked The 2 Islands Tour and we've had a massively good time
Our story is a bit difderent though
We've booked our tour the day before but missed our bus coming from Faro Beach and therefore completely missed our 11 AM trip but Sandra was kind enough to reschedule us for the 3:15 PM tour and we couldn't have been happier
The view is breath-taking, the trip itself full of wonder and the 2 islands are unique
Really laid-back places with peace and quiet by the Ocean
Our Captain Pedro was fun to be around and speaks a few languages
His insight and tips for a great islands experience were spot on
Definitely book a trip with him and you'll have a one of a kind boat ride
Due to the quick response and willingness to reschedule on Sandra's behalf and the fun ride with Pedro I highly recommend this to everyone

La Sandra ens va explicar com era el tour i vam passar un dia fantàstic amb el capità Alex. Ens va explicar el més interessant de cada illa. Quan veia algun ocell es parava perquè el poguéssim observar i ens deia quin ocell era. Tenia un molt bon coneixement de la zona i va ser divertit i atent. Us ho recomano!

We completed the 2 islands tour and we had a blast! The trip was really pleasant, the boat absolutely comfortable and clean, and we stopped in such beautiful places! But without any doubt, the best part was our captain, Alex. Charming and providing information in four different languages (impressive), always keeping an eye on our needs and making sure that we were having a great time, we did! :)
Thank you for giving us great memories of our holidays, really good work man! We will definitely recommend this trip to everyone.

Nous avons choisis d'effectuer la visite de 2 îles en 3h. Visite sans âme et avec le minimum vital d'explications (et uniquement en anglais alors que nous étions 4 français, dommage pour les non bilingue)
Autant prendre le ferry pour visiter l'île déserte, vous en aurez largement plus pour votre argent c'est dommage.
Seul intérêt le gain de temps pour les transfert

Grand merci à Ricardo et Sandra pour cette balade au coucher de soleil, inoubliable. J'ai reservé par téléphone le jour meme vers 15h, plutot que de me dire qu'ils sont complets, comme tous les autres, Islands for you a su me proposer une solution pour satisfaire toute ma famille.
Repartant le lendemain en France, sans cette balade en mer, nous n'aurions pas comblé nos vacances.. Je recommande le serieux de cette compagnie.

Magnifique journée avec un guide super : Alex. Je recommande cette balade au milieu de la lagune et des îles avec en prime une plongée pour découvrir des hypocampes, des oursins, des poissons ...cette promenade dire 5 h mais on ne les voit pas passer.

Este passeio de barco foi uma agradável surpresa que superou largamente as minhas expectativas! Primeira impressão - o barco: super confortável novinho em folha com estofos em pele creme (um luxo!), muito eficaz e veloz quando necessário, e mesmo com as ondas da passagem de outros barcos não produz qualquer enjoo, nadinha (e atenção eu sou de enjoar!); segunda impressão - o guia - o Alex - conhecedor a fundo da região, pois é filho da Formosa - fala-nos e mostra-nos com paixão e conhecimento prático dos locais que visitamos, da fauna, da vida das gentes e das singularidades da região, desdobra-se em inglês e francês que fala na perfeição, sempre com uma simpatia irresistível e um profissionalismo impecável! - parabéns Alex!; e last but not least - o passeio - muito bem planeado este tour de 5 horas em que houve tempo para tudo, para ver as várias ilhas e locais, para passear, tomar banho e apanhar sol e desfrutar do incrível cenário desta paisagem natural que é uma preciosidade do nosso país e de facto uma das maravilhas do nosso país e do mundo! Sou uma pessoa viajada que conheço os 4 cantos do mundo e cada vez mais acho que somos uns felizardos pelo país que temos, pois que temos de tudo e em muito bom! Have been on this cruise 3 times before (around 3 hours +/- visiting the islands). Once with a big group of family including kids, once with my girlfriend and once with a group of friends. Jaime, our captain was very informative, fun and did his best to ensure the trips were amazing. Sandra the sales lady was lovely too.
The islands are beautiful, and beaches are gorgeous, warmer waters than on mainland I’d say. Do the cruise on a Wednesday as you can go up the lighthouse (free, only open on Wednesdays). Look forward to round 4

Realizamos un viaje de casi 3 horas, aunque la oferta era de 2 horas y media, por Ría Formosa, con visitas a la isla desierta y a la isla de Farol. Fue una experiencia de las que se recuerdan durante mucho tiempo, en una embarcación muy cómoda y a destacar sobre todo al guía, Miguel, un gran profesional, que nos dio todo tipo de explicaciones de la naturaleza que veíamos, de las islas, y cuidando todos los detalles. Totalmente recomendable.

We took a 2,5 hour trip in the afternoon which was worth every Cent! Our guide Miguel had many interesting things to tell about the nature we saw. We had the opportunity to visit two islands, Desherta and the lighthouse islands. The best part of the trip was the sunset. Tip: bring a jacket, it gets cold quickly.

Nosotros fuimos con el guía Miguel que es muy simpático y nos explicó todo muy bien en inglés y español. Le dejó pilotar el catamarán a nuestro hijo. La puesta de sol es un precioso momento y Miguel nos hizo fotos a todos. Los catamaranes son nuevos y muy cómodos para un máximo de 12 personas. Al final salimos contentos de la experiencia y todos felicitaron a nuestro guía. Muy recomendable.

Had a great trip out with Miguel earlier today. Very chatty and explained things to us in full English and French also for those French speaking on the trip. He even took the time to give us a blanket for the trip back due to the spray from the waves. Would definitely recommend the service. The boat was very comfortable and seemed to cope well with the poorer weather conditions.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 'Islands4you' 3 hour trip from Faro today. You get to spend an hour on the lovely beaches of the Ilha Deserta and an hour on the more lively Olhao do Farol nearby. Obviously, that only leaves an hour for actually sailing. The balance was fine for us, but the same company offers other options, and other companies offer further possibilities with booking offices at the same location. Anyway, it was a good wee day out and well worth the €25 each. Felipe, the 'captain' was engaging, charming and knowledgeable about the local wildlife. He also made a point of retrieving passing plastic bottles from the sea to do his part for the environment. If you're looking for a cheap & cheerful way to pass an afternoon in Faro, and to begin exploring the tidal estuary which plays an important part in local life, then I thoroughly recommend this trip.

Superbly comfortable boat, and there was enough time to do everything-- I didn't feel rushed. We took the 5 hour three islands trip. Miguel was a fantastic guide, very friendly and funny and also very knowledgeable. I would recommend this for a great day out!

I posti che abbiamo visto bellissimi, su questo niente da dire. La valutazione negativa è per il capitano della barca che ci ha mollato sulla prima isola per un minuto di ritardo. Quando ci è venuto a riprendere, dopo aver contattato Sandra, l'organizzatrice del tour, è stato davvero scortese sia con noi che con gli altri ragazzi rimasti a terra. Tra le altre cose ci ha detto che ci avevo visto. Mah! Grazie al suo comportamento siamo stati sulla seconda isola non 45 minuti, ma solo 25. Inoltre non siamo stati tranquilli per tutto il tour, in quanto non facevamo che guardare gli orologi per l'ansia che sarebbe andato via.
The islands were really amazing, nothing to complain about. The rate is given for the captain of the boat which leave us and other 2 guy on the first island for only one minute late, moreover he said that he seen us but he decide to depart anyway. By this we had only 25 minute to visit the marvelous second island instead of 45. After this we cannot be relaxed in our tour cause of what happen.

Stunning tour today with our Guide Alex. We just loved it. He did great, was an active listener and managed to please the multilingual people on board. He dealt with English, French and Portuguese.
The atmosphere of this 5 h trip was very good.

Balade de 5h pour visiter les 3 îles. C’était top !! Le skipper ALEX était super sympa, je vous le recommande. Il parle parfaitement Français et Anglais. Ses explications étaient très intéressantes et claires. Le bateau est très confortable. Très bonne expérience.

Had a great tour this morning with Felipe! He was a really nice guy. Boat was great, very comfortable. I injured my foot on the board walk and he was very willing to help bandage me up and suggest somewhere on island number 2 to get it looked at. One thing I would suggest is a warning to people on the tour about the raised nails on the boardwalk. He told us he has had people get injured before so just a little warning would be great. Other than that I thoroughly recommend the tour!

Excelente passeio.
No dia 13 de junho à tarde, fizemos o passeio de 3 horas e duas ilhas, com o guia Alex.
Desde o primeiro contato o atendimento foi muito bom, porém o guia Alex foi perfeito. Estavamos em um grupo de 11 pessoas e de 4 diferentes línguas e ele conseguiu ser educado e atencioso com todos, sem descuidar do profissionalismo. Em determinado momento do passeio, aconteceu um fato hilariante, eu fui tirar o meu celular do bolso para fazer umas fotos, e todo o dinheiro que estava junto voou e caiu na água e o Alex com toda a habilidade de piloto e com seu altruísmo, necessitou fazer algumas manobras par recuperar, pelo nenos uma parte dos euros voadores, sem desviar-se da segurança. Parabéns Alex pela atitude, que eu muito te agradeço.
Em suma, a Island 4 you e seu guia, com certeza, proporcionou a todos nós, uma excelente tarde.

Viajes turísticos por la laguna que hay entre Faro y Olhao. El paseo consiste en enseñarte parte de las aves y algas que se pueden encontrar, te llevan a la Isla deshabitada y al faro que hay en la salida a mar abierto. El paseo es muy ameno y gracias a la pericia, simpatía y la amabilidad del piloto, Felipe, lo fue aún más.

Waren hie rim Frühjahr, vermutlich wöre es bei allen Touren gleich gewesen. Anstelle von 3h waren es nur 2h (wie angekündigt) allerdings dann doch sehr stressig. Schade aufnFarol hätte es noch den südlichsten Punkt aber dafür reichte die Zeit nicht mehr.

10/11 journée ensoleillée, temps clair! C'est Ricardo qui nous a piloté et guidé dans un français impeccable! Privilège : nous n'étions que 2 et nous sommes parties quand même dans un bateau à fond plat et très confortable! Navigation agréable et découverte de 8 ou 9 sortes d'oiseaux différents. We're just back from our 4,5h trip through Ria Formosa with our guide Jaime. The trip took place in a 6-person small boat and we enjoyed it very much. We were on board with different nationalities, but Jaime switched quick from language and his English and French were good. The sailing was nice, as well as the stops at the different places (0,5 - 1h) were we enjoyed the sea, the beaches, the bars, the villages and even sweet things from a very small bakery. The trip is actually about two islands on which there are 4 stops. Jaime told very much about history, funny facts, gave his recommendations what to do at the different stops and so on. Thank you!
Oh and be sure to bring some sun cream and something to hold you warm when you are sailing fast!

Jaime maîtrise parfaitement le français et avec sa gentillesse il vous embarque dans sa passion .nous avons navigué et visité toute une après midi dans la magie de la Ria formosa. Vraiment formidable.

D'abord nous avons été très bien accueillis par Sandra puis nous avons embarqué dans un bateau très confortable avec Ricardo notre guide. Ricardo a su nous faire découvrir et apprécier ce magnifique parc naturel, il s'est montré très disponible , á notre écoute, et nous a donné beaucoup d'informations sur cette région. Nous avons découvert des endroits charmants, nous nous sommes régalés d'une assiette de fruits de mer fraîchement pêchés et en prime nous avons pu monter en haut du phare avec le gardien du phare qui nous a expliqué encore plein de choses sur son phare et son île. La sortie qui devait durer 3h30 a en fait duré une heure de plus. C'était une très bonne journée, si nous revenons à Faro nous referons cette sortie avec plaisir. Merci Ricardo.

After hesitating between several boat trips, we finally chose "Islands 4 you" and we didn't regret it!
Indeed, our guide Jaime was very nice, thoughtful, and gave us lot's of information throughout the ride, whether in English or in French.Very smily and friendly, he gave us many explainations on the flora and fauna of the ria, he also had many anecdotes about the life and the people on the islands and knows quite well the historical background of the region..
The boat was very comfortable: we were ten people but it can go up to 14 maximum which is very acceptable and you feel quite cosy in those sofa type seats.
After visiting two islands, we stopped for lunch at a nice little café restaurant to eat seafood, then a last stop at Faro island.
We shall be back and take a ride again, in the afternoon to see the birds at sunset.
