Faro n’est pas à visiter .. il y a d’autres villes plus attrayantes et plus accueillantes

Hace unos días hicimos una ruta en bici desde Faro hasta la playa. Fuimos un grupo de 5 niños y 2 adutos.La ruta fue cómoda para gente que habitualmente no va en bici. Los contras de la ruta fueron la seguridad,fuimos sin cascos, y pasamos por tramos de asfalto peligrosos por los que pasaban coches. Otro contra fue que en la web nos explicaron que nos dejarían prismáticos y durante la ruta los pedimos y nos dijeron que no llebavan.

Highly recommended. Went on the hour boat tour around the Ria Formosa on a solar-powered boat. The guide was lovely and pointed out all the interesting birds and gave great explanations of everything we saw. He even picked some salicornia from one of the banks for us to try! The lady at the ticket post was lovely as well. Great thing to do in the afternoon in Faro.

Dieser Ausflug war sehr schön. Wir haben eine 5 Stündige Katamaran Tour zu den Inseln gemacht und es war traumhaft. Faro ansicht hat 1 kleine und schöne Altstadt aber länger als 3 Tage braucht man in Fato nicht.

Lugar maravilhoso, não passa invisível , para quem gosta de natureza é lindo ! Tem muitos lugares turísticos , além de bares , cafés e restaurantes tradicionais.Ha vários hotéis , pousadas e hostels para todos os bolsos , funciona o dia todo e anoite com vida noturna intença.Há turistas de todo Mundo e os Portugueses são educados e prestativos , tem também lojas e todo tipo de comércio.O aeroporto funciona muito bem e está perto da Espanha.A Região bomba no Varão que vai de final de Setembro a final de novembro

Amazing time! Our guide has an incredible knowledge of all the birds that live in the laguna so we were able to see and recognize many different species. The islands are very beautiful. All in all a great experience

We had a tour of the lagoon and the beach (2 hour version). Great birds. Great guide - she was very knowledgeable. Family friendly.

Absolutely wonderful landscape, our kayak guide was extremely patient and professional. He gave good tips, excellent guy. Also pricing is one of the best in algarve. Rent it for a day and visit the beach or have your own island!

Sehr schöne und informative Bootstour mit dem Katamaran, dauerte 3 h und unser Guide Patricia hat uns liebevoll die Vögel gezeigt und viel Wissen über das Marschland Ria Formosa vermitteln können. Auf den 2 besuchten Inseln hatte man ausreichend Zeit sich im Meer abzukühlen. Preis mit 25€ völlig ok!

It’s sad to say but will give 0 stars if I can. Do not recommend this company. We booked 2 hours tour to watch the birds in Ria Formosa, paid 25 euros per person. Here are the facts: 1. The guide we had wasn’t great neither in French nor in English (the group was mostly French but everyone was ok with English) 2. The boat engine stalled 4 times I suppose because of overheating when the guide tried to go faster. 3. The guide was every time on his cellphone checking the map and that confirms that he was totally new with the route, he was checking if we’re going right way. 4. Because his was on the cellphone once we were needed to attract his attention and prevent the possible crash with incoming boat. The guy on incoming boat yelled on him. 5. On the way back he tried to land his boat in the tiny spot between two big ships which were constantly moving because of the waves, so the guide complained that “it’s so difficult “... MAN, YOU ARR CRAZY! IT WAS F... DANGEROUS!!!! 6. He knows only few birds and finally confirmed that he’s a marine biologist and not an ornithologist so he doesn’t know all the species 7. He was complaining all the way about his binoculars which are broken so cannot clearly see what is the bird. 8. The all information given by the guide can be found in small articles in Wikipedia, so nothing new or special. 9. When we bought the tour nobody said us that the flamingo can be seen only on sunshine or sunset and when the tide is higher as possible, but the tours are available around 1 PM and 4:30PM, so you have 0 chances to see a flamingo. They said “If you are lucky enough you will see “. Liars. 10. They said that we will pass many small channels to watch the birds. Lie! We did only main highly trafficked channel and on the way back another one which finally joins the main. BIG TOTAL: never book this tour with this company. The are liars, unprofessional and your life will be put in danger. Nonchalance and border line negligence!

Wouldn’t definitely recommend to anyone! Life jackets dirty and smelling!!! We clearly said we were beginners. Despite this we had a very quick brief before they gave us the kayaks and we were berely instructed about how to paddle. They didn’t even explain how to turn the kayak or stop it. The map they gave us wasn’t clear at all and it was very hard to understand where to go. After about 1 hour we decided to come back to the port as found it too hard. A guy we spoke with said that day was not ideal for beginners as it was full moon and very hard to paddle. We had two other kayak experience during the same holiday and enjoyed them both.

Despite a few issue (like a 30 minutes delay or a last second group change) the visit was super cool! We went on a three hours trip around Desert Island and Faroil Island with our guide, Paulo, who was super funny and gave us all the info we needed to appreciate the tour.

La sortie en mer etait intéressante mais nous n'avons pas eu de guide qui parlait en français alors qu'à la reservation nous l'avions demandé et l'hôtesse nous l'avait confirmé, ce nest pas professionnel et très regrettable pour une visite guidée, heureusement que les touristes presents nous ont assurés la traduction integrale...grand merci à eux

I rented a single kayak for 4h having contacted the company earlier by email. Sadly, I wasn’t alerted that at the time I was renting the tide was high and it would take quite a stamina to swim out of the main canal.

Did the 3h catamaran tour to Ilha deserta and Ilha do Farol, through ria Formosa. The boat was very comfortable and easily accessible. The guide/captain was cool and gave us great explanations about the Nature reserve and islands (in portuguese, french and spanish). Got free time on the islands to walk around/swim/have a drink. All the family enjoyed!

The tour was very informative and the day we went out was beautiful. Would have been nice if we could have spent longer on each island but overall a great way to see as much of Ria Formosa as possible in the span of a few hours.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivé (en avance) nos places avaient été données. Vous manquez clairement de sérieux. Ceci dit c'était un mal pour un bien, vos concurrents sont au top

Olhão está uma Maravilha.As obras feitas estão fantásticas e tornaram Olhão um lugar que alia Tradição, mas também que atrai muitas pessoas. Bons Restaurantes com uma boa Gastronomia.Uma entrada em Olhão melhorada. Só falta estacionamento.Atrai famílias.O bom Algarve.Gostaria que as Entidades em Albufeira olhassem para o exemplo de Olhão é evoluissem .Parabéns !

Magnifique journée à la découverte de l'île déserte et de Farol. Déjeuner dans un petit village de pêcheurs,excellent repas de fruits de mer. Alfredo est un skipper et guide au top.,très attentionné et toujours souriant. Excursion à recommander.

Booked at the last minute and very glad I did! I was impressed by the captain's multi lingual tour and his knowledge of the area. It was just the right length of time and allowed us to visit the desert island and Farol. I thought it was good value for the £25 tour price. A good way to see the mud flats.

Gute Fahrräder, wir wurden mit Luftpumpe, Flickkit, Schloss und Karte ausgestattet. Die empfohlene Route in den Nationalpark ist klasse! Netter Service, gutes Personal!

Et encore si j'avais pu mettre 0 étoile je l'aurais fait. Appel pour réserver une excursion en canoé. Notre interlocuteur nous dit donc de venir 1 à 2 heures avant pour payer (nous étions à 40 kms de route pour la précision) ce que nous avons fait. En arrivant surprise...il n'y a plus de places !! En dehors de nous proposer 3 fois une excursion en bateau ce que nous nous souhaitons pas aucune réelle alternative proposée. Bref service 0 !! À fuir !

Had a lovely 45 min boat trip around the lagoon at low tide. Very relaxed, lovely guide, clean boat. perfect short tour to end our holiday in Portugal. Highly recommended.

Wir wollten uns zu zweit ein Kayak ausleihen und hatten auch schon den Voucher dafür mit festgelegter Uhrzeit. Beim Formosamar Office wo wir den Vaucher einlösen sollten hieß es wir müssen leider 20 min warten. Nach einer halben Stunde wurden andere Kunden die eine Bootsfahrt gebucht hatten versorgt, wir wurden nur unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen wir sollen noch ein bisschen warten. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit ohne weitere Informationen von ihnen sind wir dann gegangen.

Très belle balade avec un guide attentionné et qui n'hésite pas à s'adapter en fonction de sa clientèle pour vous faire découvrir les richesses naturelles de Faro. Très belle expérience avec un prix raisonnable.

The guided tour around the wetlands of the Nature Reserve is well worth it for active types. Just be aware that as it is hot to take water! Bird life, plants and the ecology is explained by knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended! (Expect to ache a little afterwards.)

Splendida gita in barca ad avvistare i volatili del parco naturale, con Francisco guida molto competente e simpatica. Per il prezzo contenuto ed il contesto splendido ne è valsa veramente la pena!
