Très bon bar/cave, le personnel est très sympa, de bon conseil et parle bien français. Super pour votre un bon verre et grignoter mais les bouteilles à l'achat sont très chères.

Service was ok, when we first got there we were told that they were full even though all the tables were full. We just did a wine sampling and it was nothing special compared to some of the others we have done.

Very much enjoyed our trip here.... Amazing wine choice by our young waiter, and the meat and cheese platter was delicious. The smoked sausage especially is something to get excited about. It is a relaxed place, charming and just what we wanted on our first night in Lisbon/ 100% will be heading back when we are next there.

Très bien acceuilli. Personnel très gentil et souriant. Assiette de charcuterie et fromage trop copieuse, le patron nous a proposé de nous préparer une assiette plus petite. C'était jusque parfait. Nous avons apprécié !!! Je recommande, parle français !!!

Excellent sommelier gave a flawless recommendation of wine. Cheese and cold cut platter could be a bit better with a little more choices. Other than that a very pleasant visit.

Fantastic place! We stumbled in during a big rainstorm and were greeted by some great hospitality and pleasant Fado music. The server had great advice on port selection, and we had that and a big board of cheese and ham. The olives were delicious, too. It’s probably no coincidence the place was full of French tourists. Worth a visit!

Terrible experience! We didn't had the feeling we were welcomed, at the end we spend 50+ eur for a bottle and some tapas. Avoid at all costs.

Amazing place, very nice host, relax, great selection of wines and Porto. Owner and his wife speaks many languages, they are very caring, great to talk to. Tasted a fabulous 20 years porto offered by the house and my wife enjoyed a 10 year old tanny also very good. Very fair price on all tapas and credit cards accepted. Of all the places we did in Lisbon, that was one of the best.

I reserved this place through an app, but once arrived we were immediately scolded about being 9 minutes late (the app allows a 15 minutes tolerance on your show up time). At first i thought the waitress was joking but I quickly realized that she wasn't ; she suggested us to eat in the front at a different restaurant where she would talk to the owner for getting us a - 30% discount. It may sound like a favor but it wasn't, coz we had booked a - 50% discount in her restaurant instead and the place in the front looked a much more expensive place too. Despite the weird situation and the pressure from her we kindly declined and sat where we were supposed to. After getting the menu she would stand there and didn't want us to choose. She also tried to force us to order a specific (probably the most expensive of the menu) dish. When i asked fora little time to choose she made up a story that the discount will be canceled if we don't order immediately. I replied that once you are sitting, there is no limit of time for choosing your food, and it's actually obvious to order more food throughout the night if for example you realize you are still hungry after your first order. At that point she got really mad and kind of yelled that that's their restaurant and they make the rules. At that point we had no other option than leaving. I have traveled all the world and i have never encountered such a disrespectful service and awful experience before, not even in third world countries.

Bar à vin agréable et bien situé. Grand choix de vins portugais. Les + : - charcuteries très bonnes - vins intéressants - accueil sympathique Les - : - cher (10€ le verre de vin, 35€ la planche charcuterie / fromage), on atteint vite les 50 € par personne. - fromages fades - on vous pousse un peu trop à la consommation

Personalmente mi è piaciuto tantissimo: enoteca con tapas. Vini e prodotti portoghesi di qualità alta. Locale piccolo, curato ed accogliente. Personale gentile, cortese e molto preparato pronto a spiegare e dare consigli. Da provare!

So not only did I sit on the terrace of this establishment today and get served rather poor wine, but I am accused of lying by the owner. I DID sit here, and have a glass of house white and house red wine, leaving most of both as they were not very good wines.

nice, cosy place for meats, cheese and wine. amazing wine selection. we skipped the cheese and opted for the full meat platter. the service person who took our order could have been a bit friendlier, though.

Nous voulions tester un bon Vinho Verde en allant chez un caviste. On nous en recommande 2 à 15-16€ avec des notes de fruits exotiques, pas trop secs. On prend une bouteille puis on regarde par curiosité l'application Vivino... et là on découvre que notre vin coûte en moyenne 6€! Donc plutôt un vin "bas de gamme" qu'on a payé 3 fois le prix. D'ailleurs, aucun prix n'est affiché en boutique donc on s'est demandé comment la vendeuse avait pu nous les dire sans rien regarder... les prix sont à la tête du client ? Et niveau aromatique, le vin est assez insipide... et noté comme clairement sec par les utilisateurs de Vivino... bref à ÉVITER !

I really can’t recommend this restaurant. The service was really pushy, guests are forced to eat extra appetizers and have to pay for them. The wine was ok. But the food was for that what you get overpriced... A few cheap supermarket-chips were sold as French fries...The mixed ham and cheese board just has one sort of ham and really cheap cheese... we were really disappointed, we ate each night typical portugese food and where always overwhelmed from this delicious tapas! But at Fado&Wine the experience wasn’t authentic at all it seemed like a sad play for naive tourists!!!! If you want to have excellent portugese food, go to another tapas bar in the north of the city!
