When visiting the São Jorge castle, it's difficult to find something authentic, close enough to the Portuguese reality -just as with most touristic areas.
Paladsrium is located at the feet of a staircase that leads to Alfama, small village where the castle is located. We founded really by chance and were very happy with the choice
I ordered a traditional cod with potatoes and my husband an Alheira sausage. Both were great choices. A great introduction to Portuguese traditional cuisine.

De lo mejor de la zona. Reservamos por el tenedor tan solo 5 minutos antes, pero no nos confirmaron. Al llegar nos ofrecieron la posibilidad de sentarnos en mesa alta ya que el local estaba lleno. Fueron muy atentos y amables. El lugar es bonito con una bóveda de ladrillo interesante. En cuanto a la comida, una materia prima buena y de un gran sabor. El vino blanco estupendo!! Relación calidad/precio muy acertada. Lo recomiendo.

Absolutely amazing. After finding this establishment by chance we were treated to a lovely dinner by a very friendly helpful waiter. The food was a lovely: from the entrée of the day and mixed platers as appetisers, to the main first meal course and desserts everything was a delight. The rustic and down to earth atmosphere contributed all the more to the experience. Merci beaucoup !

The pumpkin curry was the best I've had anywhere. All 6 of us ordered different meals, and we were all so happy. Not only that, the service was so warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

I just walked around this area and popped into the restaurant tonight. We ordered Tuna ham on the toast, Sausage with walnut and honey and eggplant cold dish. it was first time to eat Tuna ham and amazingly tasty. The owner showed me the picture of the tuna ham and explained to us. All the foods are great. The customer service was great. I will recommend this restaurant. Yes I forgot to mention about dessert. We ordered Drunken pear with vanilla Ice cream. it was great to finish.

A great family run, traditional Portuguese restaurant. You are greeted by friendly Portuguese staff who speak fluent English as well. The interior design of the restaurant is easy on the eye with simple elegance.. Excellent food and wine at reasonable prices. The small intimate outdoor space tucked in beside a stairway and entrance to the restaurant is a nice easy spot to chill out and have a drink while you take a breather from all the walking. The food is very delicious, I kept coming back over the course of my 9 day stay in Lisbon.

Fuimos por las puntuaciones, y nos llevamos una decepción con la comida, y más con el precio. El bacalao no estaba mal y las migas sorprenden, pero no corresponden con el precio. Las raciones son muy pequeñas. No volveriamos.

Très bon moment passé en terrasse du Paladrium. Un personnel très souriant et qui parle le français à la perfection. Les plats sont très bon et à des prix très abordables.

Cosy local tavern outside of the main road with the usual tourist traps. The staff is very friendly, and the owner, seeing we were tourists and did not know some local food, came to our table spending time helping us without being intrusive or pushy. And the food (the octopus in our case) was delicious! Absolutely great!

Semplicemente un luogo in cui ti senti a casa sia per come vieni accolto che per quelli che mangi. José, il padrone del locale, ti accoglie sorridendo accompagnandoti alla scoperta dei piatti del suo locale. I piatti sono tipici della cucina portoghese. L'unico ristorante di Lisbona per cui mi sento di dire che é assolutamente necessario provare.

Comida riquísima. Se nota que era casera. La atención de diez. Muy buen ambiente. Recomendabilisimo si estás por el centro de Lisboa. El bacalao era un espectáculo. El pulpo tierno y muy rico de sabor y las codornices en su punto y muy sabrosas. No es barato pero tampoco ninguna barbaridad. Relación calidad precio, un 10.

J ai vraiment du mal à comprendre la note de ce restaurant. L' accueil et le service sont excellents. Il y a peu de choix et les prix sont correct même un peux chers en comparant avec d autres adresses similaires, mais la nurriture n est pas géniale. Nous avon pris du pulpe qui avais un goût bizarre et une texture caouchuteuse et des cailles marinées au citron. Nous n avons pa pu manger le pulpe et le patron à insiste pour changer de plat et nous à apporté des epinards au fromage qui n étaient pas non plus de notre goût. Je pense qu il faut rester sur de choses plus simples et mieux les travailler. C est bien dommage.

We were searching for a place to eat after visiting the Castelo the São George and in an ally we found this nice and quiet place wirh very friendly staff. Our server spoke very good english to us, since we don't speak any portuguese. I ordered the meal of the day which was a small chicken pie with some salad and it was delicious. All of us ordered different dishes and everyone loved their food. Some of the best food in Lisbon you can get.

I've been here 3 times in the last months and it's always a pleasure to introduce this excellent restaurant to friends. The food is extremely tasty and nicely served, the service is friendly and warm and the quality price ratio is at it's best with an average of 15 euros with a main dish, a drink and some shared desserts (cakes from different regions around Lisbon)!
Perfect to try a different version of the Portuguese food.

Horrible. Small Portions, wouldn't call that Portuguese. And on top of that, I got sick really bad after eating Tuna. Ruined the remainder of my holiday. Obviously, would not recommend.

It was only the second choice for this night, but finally the best we could make. After been ignored and thus disappointed from the whole staff in another famous location, we decided to come over here for dinner.
To make a long story short: This place is highly recommanded if you want to enjoy your time all around.
The place itself gives a warm and inviting feeling, the whole interior design was chosen with clear view and sense for harmony.
The staff is as pretty nice as can be and the food they're serving is simply - a revelation.
Our choices were like this:
- creamy goat cheese
- boiled eggs with Tuna dressing
- meat croquettes
- curry from chickpeas and
- roasted porc with purree from sweet potatoes
In my opinion you can't get wrong with any choice you make here at Paladarium.
Thanks to the people there for a comfortable and delicious night!

Nice, cosy atmosphere, good food, good wine. The owner is always around the tables and is making recommendations for wine or food if you want. He is very chatty and friendly but not too much, he even brought his wife to our table for a few words, because she does lot of the cooking. We loved this place very much, came back twice while in Lisbon. Definitely one of the best places we have been to recently.

개인적으로 맛있게 잘 먹고 왔어요! (자극적인 맛은 아닙니다!) 특별한 소스맛은 모르겠고 올리브유와 짭짭한 맛과 문어와 고구마가 아주 잘 어울렸어요! 샹그리아도 맛있게 먹고 왔어요!
여자 혼자 갔는데 부담스러운 친절함이 아니라 편안하게 혼자 먹고 왔습니다!

Un po' nascosto dal centro e non turistico. Il locale è carino, forse un po' caldo all'interno. Il proprietario è super cortese e consiglia sui piatti e sui vini e parla italiano. I piatti sono ottimi: polpo e patate gustosissimo e piatto del giorno (maialino) ottimo; provato anche il gazpacho, buonissimo anche quello. Dolci e frutta buonissimi. Prezzo: sui 35 euro per due calici di vino, acqua, un gazpacho, un polpo, un piatto del giorno, un dolce e frutta. Consigliatissimo.

Lasciate da parte i ristoranti per turisti e sedetevi a mangiare il bacalao al Palidarium. Scoprirete ottimo cibo, un ambiente suggestivo, un proprietario che da vero oste racconta i suoi piatti (anche in italiano) e delle persone gentilissime. Dopo cena poi, salite la scalinata lì a fianco (o prendete l'ascensore) e andate ad ammirare Lisbona illuminata.

In posizione defilata rispetto ai percorsi turistici, ai piedi della scala che scende dal miradouro del baxio, un posto accogliente e da scegliere sia per l'ottimo cibo sia per la gentilezza del personale. Da provare il bacalau de paladarium.

Restaurant au décor et à l'accueil très sympathiques. Le patron parle très bien français et est très agréable. Les plats commandés, traditionnels, étaient copieux et très bons, à un prix très raisonnable. On ne force pas à la consommation car venus avec nos filles de 5 et 7 ans, on nous a proposé à chaque fois de partager une seule portion, ce qui était suffisant. Nous avons passé un bon moment, merci!

We came there to have a very late dinner. Although it was about to close, the owner / manager invited us to place an order. We didn't want to be a nuisance to the staff who were about to leave, but the owner / manager said it was no problem. The food was really nice and the wine that was recommended really suited the meal. We were even offered a dessert after the meal, but we didn't want to abuse the hospitality. We greatly appreciated the attitude from the staff, and the nice food as well.

Restaurant trouvé au détour d’une petite rue en rentrant du château Jorge. Le décor est authentique et chargé d histoire, dès notre arrivé nous sommes très bien accueillis par le patron. (Qui parle français). Et la suite est juste top, tout est fait maison et tout est très bon et pour un prix abordable. Vente de produits locaux également. Très bon moment passé

A wonderful little restaurant, set back from a small square. It's easy to miss but so worth seeking out. The chef/owner makes hearty and exceptionally tasty bistro dishes and the front of house staff was friendly and helpful. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal.

Acudí a este lugar porque recibía muy buenas opiniones en este sitio pero la relación del precio con la calidad de la comida no corresponde. Es caro y la comida no destaca de ninguna manera. Pedímos un bacalao y un pulpo y estaban sólo bien. El pulpo incluso duro y elastico, el pan de muy mala calidad. El sitio informal y sorprende el precio de su carta. El servicio es un poco lento. Yo no volvería.

Nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant par hasard et avons été très agréablement surpris par le repas. Ce sont des plats typiques portugais, cuisine très bonne et prix raisonnable. De plus, le service était parfait, très chaleureux et on peut échanger en français. En prime, les vins sont exquis et proviennent pour la plupart de producteurs Portugais indépendants ! Nous recommandons fortement !

Jolie petit restaurant atypique au coin d'une ruelle.
Le service était top. L'effort en français était appréciable.
Nous avons dégusté de très bon fromages pour commencer, puis nous avons pris de bon ptit plats portugais. Jusqu'au dessert c'était délicieux.
'Le petit plus possibilité d'acheter divers produits consommés pendant le repas.
Pour 75€ pour 4 personnes soit -20€ part pers.

Comida casera muy rica y a buen precio. El plato del día con un gazpacho o postre y café, calidad precio, estupendo. Volvería sin duda.

Absolut zu empfehlen, gemütlich, authentisch, wahnsinns netter Service mit klasse Beratung und das Essen ist ein Traum zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Lage ein paar Straßen abseits der Tourifressmeilen ist eine Wohltat. Hinsetzen, wohlfühlen und von der Vorspeise bis zum Digestif die kulinarische Vielfalt Lissabons erleben.

Comida original, mas enraizada na tradição portuguesa, muito bem confeccionada, fresca, diversificada. Bons vinhos. Espaço acolhedor e ambiente agradável, óptimo serviço.

Excellente surprise que ce restaurant au pied des marches de l escalier...accueil exceptionnel, attentionné et cuisine maison de qualité : torricado (tartine grillée de sardines aux herbes), soupe de tomates froide assaisonnement parfait, brochette de poulpe fondant, poulet désossé farci à tomber, lasagnes de légumes....bref todo que era muito bom !! Le propriétaire parle français et donne même des cours de portugais !

Wir wohnten nur ein paar Meter vom Restaurant entfernt und bekamen es von Einheimischen empfohlen. Ein sehr guter Tipp! Wir wurden intensiv und supernett beraten, das Essen war köstlich und nicht teuer, der Service außerordentlich!! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

Localização não muito boa, com local escondido e não muito acessivel. No entanto a comida tem excelente qualidade, o staff é simpatiquíssimo e o espaço é bom e acolhedor (espaçoso e estético). No entanto os preços são altos, embora não surpreenda pela qualidade. Difícil de arrumar carros sem pagar, mas tem parque pago mesmo ao lado.
