Amazing bar, great variety of food and drink, brilliant staff and lovely atmosphere! Great to watch the football and enjoy a pint

The Hangover is a very friendly and well kept English pub. Inside there are 2 bars which you can be served from, live music most nights, great English breakfast and cocktails. There is also a small arcade section down the back with a pinball machine and pool table.

Would have given this bar 5 stars if it wasn't for the extremely rude and condescending barmaid. I was served a gin in a thick glass tumbler and I asked if it could be put in a gin glass. I was informed by this particular barmaid cheap gin does not get served in gin glasses. I was in complete shock as she embarrassed me in front of other customers standing at bar. I walked away without saying a word. She did come and apologise with a gin glass. I was very upset at this stage and the damage done. We simply left. However the owner of this bar is very welcoming and a really nice man. Please go visit it but avoid being served by barmaid with blond hair...

The Hangover bar has great potential but unfortunately only shows one sport on its many TVs. A good sports bar has a variety of sports playing at the same time. Go next door as they are a true sports bar.

Nice big bar staff were good the drinks were on the expensive side only problem I had with the place was the acoustics didn't sound that good

Good bar for lads. Host can't do enough for you. Standard segres is €2 in the 8 happy hours. Only goes up to €2.50. Other drinks like Guinness are typical €5 but this is normal. How can you say it's expensive?

Great atmosphere and staff, very good prices an always entertainment, most importantly loads of tv's for sport, what more can you ask for.

Went ere for World Cup semis, had Carlin so rated, but, TV’s were about 30 mins behind and slower than a fat kid running for the bus so would not recommend cos of the bad TV’s n dat. Amazing place. Very clean and food is very tasty. The staff were very friendly. Very good prices on food, beers and cocktails. Love the live music and atmosphere there. Will defo go back!

Came home yesterday from Portugal. Where we stayed at muthu oura praia hotel which is located above The Hangover Bar. Let’s just say The Hangover Bar was amazing, made our holiday much more exiting in the evening! The two bar tenders which were both named Fabio were incredible and looked after us very well. The cocktails were very tasty to. The entertainment was great with different acts every night... would definitely recommend this bar. We will sure be back!❤️

Gostei deste bar. É espaçoso, tem "música ao vivo", e os funcionários são simpáticos e educados. Como ponto negativo, ter de falar inglês no meu país.

Staff very friendly. Food was quite bad and overpriced. Lasagne and salad in photo was inedible and cost €7.

First rate breakfast. Nice range of vodkas and a good pint. We were there for final day of the football season and they had around six different matches on the tvs round the bars. Staff were great craic

One of the best bars in Praia da Oura, staff are very welcoming and proactive. Stayed in Albufeira for a week and visited this bar 4 times, entertainment was great each night.

Disgusting. They served me a beer in a dirty glass, all greasy and smelly, and when I asked politely to replace it, the waiter pulled such a face like it was my fault that the glass was all covered in fat. Never again I will go there
