Very good tasting food for a low price, they many different dishes and you get almost too much food. They have four vegetarian dishes and with meats, they have cow beef, other kinds of beef, fish and octopus. The service is great, the toilet is clean and the only real point that is less is the terrace, but with these prices I have nothing to complain about! With every order of beef you get fries and rice. Very good place, I recommend it for genuine, cheap Portuguese food!

Great lunchtime spot for a Sunday meal. Away from the crowds, outside seating with a gentle breeze during the hot temperatures. Chicken peri peri dish was tasty and gazpacho soup for starters

Good food, average choices, translation of the menue is really bad, friendly service. Location is ok for a fast snack /dinner but not the right choice if you have high expectations towards tipical / traditional cuisine.

Nice typical food!
The Floresta do Calhariz is a restaurant with typical portuguese cuisine (lots of fish meals, good meat) with good prices! Especially the drinks ;-)
We had salmon which was very tasty and fresh, some bacalhau - awesome - and two dishes with meat. They were delicious! Staff was very friendly.
We would recommend it :)

Très bon restaurant où les serveurs sont très aimables, le repas est d'excellente qualité.
Il y a quelques tables en extérieur où il est fort agréable de s'y installer par beau temps.
Je recommande bien franchement !

I was walking through town on a warm afternoon and stopped in for some wine. Friendly staff, a nice half bottle. Sat outside. Tables are right next to a small alley and you sit right next to it. Like a lot on Lisbon! Didn't try any food.

Fuimos a cenar pronto, a las 19:00, a partir de las 20:00 el local estaba al completo. La comida estaba buenísima junto con una gran presentación. El trato muy amable. Totalmente recomendable

The food was not tasty....cream sauce was just greasy, we were not brave enough to eat the whole meal...bread was like from yesterday, olives tastes like garlic. Service was really nice, but thats it. Not recommended!

No restaurante Floresta do Calhariz, o polvo e o bacalhau à lagareiro são excelentes. Bom atendimento com ambiente pequeno e agradável. Para quem prefere ambientes externo e aberto há mesas.

Muy buen servicio, variedad y calidad de platos al precio normal de los restaurantes de Lisboa. Es pequeño pero muy acogedor. Tiene una pequeña terraza.
Esta justo enfrente del elevador de Boca y al lado hay otro restaurante ("Adega do Tagarro") que cierra antes pero es más típica casa de comidas portuguesa.

¡Atención! precios sin IVA, sin aviso previo, muy feo detalle. Comimos en la terraza de la calle, que esta ligeramente en cuesta. La comida normal acorde al tamaño de raciones de Lisboa, pero la sorpresa de la factura final hizo que no dejasemos nada de propina que, por otro lado no hicieron nada para ganársela, mas bien lo contrario, ya que te ponen un entrante, sin pedirlo, que luego lo suelen cobrar. Nosotros vimos venir la jugada y lo rechazamos.

No merece la pena, el bacalao frito con cebolla aceitoso y muy hecho.calidad- precio no merece la pena hay sitios mucho mejores, no lo recomiendo.

Achamos o atendimentos muito profissional e apesar de sermos servidos por indianos conseguiram manter o aspeto típico e português de uma restaurante do bairro alto. Vale a pena a visita.

Go for the exceptional staff! They were very conversational and took time to talk to you about anything and everything making the evening very enjoyable. The food was good at a very reasonable price and dessert excellent. The chocolate mousse was very rich. We even enjoyed a glass of port on the house! Also don't be afraid to decline the food they bring out when you get seated, they won't mind.

One of the best places to eat in the area.
Very gentle staff, it’s a good place for dinner right next the crowded area, a very nice place to lunch avoiding the mainstream.
Going there every month at least twice.

A small place just off the main street. The service was fast, the waiters were very friendly and did not mind speaking English.
Food was served with salad and other side dishes without extra costs. However they offered olives and cheese when we sat down which undoubtedly would have cost extra, if we took it. The quality of the food was good, but not anything special. Just the main course and a single round of drinks for four people costed us €70.

De longe o pior bacalhau com natas que alguma vez experimentei. Mesmo com fome, me foi impossível comer. Feito com batatas fritas, puro óleo.
By far the worst codfish with cream that I ever (tried to) eat. Made with fried potato instead of baked, totally disgusting.

En voilà un restaurant qu'il faut fuir.
On attend bien 30 min avant que le serveur daigné prendre votre commande meme après 4 relances aimables (il n'y a que 4 tables à servir à l'heure meme ou j'écris).
Ensuite ce qu'on nous apporte à manger est franchement mauvais et c'est pourtant pas compliqué de faire une bon chorizo grillé, le tout étant d'avoir un produit de qualité à la base.
L'huile d'olive rance et trop vieille posée sur la table.
Les accros de morue servis encore congelés.
Les frites industrielles gorgées d'huile et infâme à cause d'une huile changée pas assez souvent.
Un riz tellement fade et immangeable.
Surtout fuyez !

This is a very good place for the price you pay. Obviously, if you fancy a high end dining you should walk past! I had a grilled octopus and my partner had a typical Portuguese pork with clams. The food was very well cooked and very tasty. I had a glass of red house wine which exceeded all expectations. We also had mixed starters including sardine pate, olives and local cheese. All together paid just over 30 euros. The hosts were polite and attentive.

The food wasnt fresh at all. The whole meal, including the garnish was covered in garlic (few hours later and i can still taste it *yuck!*) The brocolli was cooked till it looked kinda brown, and the side salad looked like it was prepared a few days ago. Very dry cucumber, and tomato had black spots! service was as bad as the food.

O local é pequeno e em dias de movimento pode ser bem barulhento. No cardápio sardinha frita e batata, muito bom. O que me surpreendeu foi o Bacalhau ao Brás, muito gostoso. A propósito, a cozinheira era brasileira. Atração à parte o garçom - sr. Jorge - era de um mal humor peculiar, mas nada grosseiro, chega a ser bem engraçado. Não tem wi-fi para clientes.
