Quando vimos a Peniche gostamos de evitar a confusão dos restaurantes tradicionais tão procurados. Descobrimos este restaurante indiano, muito agradável e de boa cozinha indiana que tanto nos agrada.

Parfait. Un serveur Akash d'une gentillesse inouïe et un repas succulent. Faire le détour absolument. Compter 15 euro par personne. Ne pas hésiter à demander des conseils (en anglais).

We stubbled across this Indian restaurant today and have just finished our meal. We eat a lot of Indian food and can honestly say this is the best we’ve ever had. The food is amazing, portion sizes are really good, very fair prices and the staff are lovely - special mention for Akash who served us. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area.

Restaurante com staff muito simpático, sempre prontos para ajudar e esclarecer alguma duvida. Comida deliciosa. Não atribuo as 5 estrelas porque, apesar de a decoração indicar um restaurante indiano, se houvesse um pouquinho mais de investimento nesse sentido seria perfeito! :) Mas sem sombra de dúvida um local a repetir. Até as crianças adoraram! PS: gelado indiano de manga, uma delícia!

Gostei, apesar de estar um pouco receoso ao início.
Ambiente agradável e limpo.
Os funcionários, apesar de não falarem bem português, são muito simpáticos.
A comida é muito variada, de base indiana.

Fabulous Indian restaurant, hidden away behind the Church in the centre of the old town, just 2 minutes from the Fort. Food was incredible with wonderful spices, Staff very attentive and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough. Best Indian cuisine in Portugal.

Um espaço muito agradável e limpo. Com comida típica indiana. Muito bom. Para quem gosta de comida picante também encontra uma grande oferta de pratos. Fomos bem servidos, funcionário muito simpático e prestável. Adorámos o frango com molho de manga. Bom preço.

Que faz um restaurante indiano numa cidade em que só apetece o peixe e a sua confecção tradicional? Foi com esta pergunta na mente, e o receio da resposta, que entrei ontem no Maharani que, por gentileza dos empregados, vim a saber significar “rainha” em Indi. Mandei vir um peixe picante, uns bons nacos de pescada limpa e saborosa a nadar em pedaços generosos de cebola e pimento bem condimentados, diabolicamente condimentados ... como eu gosto! A acompanhar o arroz especial da casa, com o dito cereal à mistura com queijo e frutos secos. A regar um Muralhas gelado a contrastar com o “hot” da pescada. O antes e depois impecáveis. Uma experiência supinamente agradável! Serviço impecável, sendo os empregados afáveis, atentos e comunicativos.

Absolut empfehlenswertes indisches Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut, alles wirklich sehr lecker und ordentliche Portionen! Die Bedienung sprach sehr gutes Englisch und war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Aus unserer Sicht ein super indisches Restaurant.

VERY VERY good restaurant! Extremely friendly staff and very professional service! The Butter Chicken is out of this world, never had such a good one! Also take away works perfect and is alway freshly made, really enjoy it every time i go there which is about 2x-3x a week :)

Wow wow wow! This is the best Indian food I’ve eaten ever! I really mean that. Yes e been 3 times this week and I’m going tonight. The ingredients are so fresh and authentic. I can’t recommend it enough. Unreal. Mouth is watering thinking about the Dal and Spinach dishes. The breads are amazing. Just go there.

This is the best Indian I have ever been to and I have explored a lot! Very fresh authentic ingredients. Excellent attentive service. I love the metal dishes that keep the food hot. Garlic naan bread and lentil dishes are really tasty. Will visit again!

Ci sono andata 2 volte. La prima sera erano le 21:30, il locale era pieno ma mi hanno fatto sedere subito, mi hanno fatto attendere un po per ordinare, ma ne è valsa la pena, ho mangiato molto bene e speso poco. Sono tornata la sera successiva alle 20 ed era meno affollato, servizio veloce e cortese, ottimo cibo. Bravi ragazzi! Lo consiglio

Really great, authentic dish. Had the lamb curry, with a little extra spice. Fabulous. Portion with rice, just right, service excellent, staff attentive but not in your face. Can recommend to anyone who enjoys the taste of India. Generated a perfect balance of energy and taste.

Estábamos buscando una opción diferente en Peniche, fuera del fast-food y la comida tradicional de la zona. Vimos este restaurante y mientras ojeábamos la carta pasó una pareja que nos lo recomendó -Good Indian!!! Así que nos animamos a entrar y la verdad que fue un acierto, la comida muy buena y el servicio muy amable. Para repetir.

Pretty basic decor and vibe, which doesn’t match the high food quality.
Cozy place hidden in a modest mixed used area. Easy parking at the fort, 2 min walk away.
Recommended for something different that’s great value.

We are big fans of Indian food and this is the place to go! The food was amazing, probably the best Indian food we have ever eaten. The service was impecable, quick and polite. The interior is typically Indian and the restaurant is very clean and calm. We wish we would have discovered this gem the first night! If you walk on the main restaurant street in Peniche and you are not impressed by what you see, go to this lovely Indian restaurant, it will make your day.

I had the prawn biryani : they were big and there were a lot. It was delicious. My friend had different dishes and every body was really happy with their ordering. I also have to add that toilet was clean with a nice odor of coriander ! :)
