A Lisbona cena e spettacolo FADO, la canzone tradizionale portoghese, nel quartiere di ALFAMA. Bella atmosfera al ritmo di Fado, nella sala superiore ampia e tipica per il turismo. Non ho apprezzato molto la zuppa a base di patate e spinaci. Era molto buono il secondo a base di baccalà e il dessert di crema. Gentili e veloci i camerieri, e molto piacevole lo spettacolo ricco di danze e canti melodici. IL TUTTO PIACEVOLE

Belle performance de fado, personnel au petit soin, mais repas pas terrible. Menu avec peu de choix, plats un peu fades, desserts moyens. La note (en moyenne 47€ par personne) justifie le spectacle mais pas le repas.

Excellente soirée.. très variée... colorée.. repas plus que correct.. une viande fondante... convivialité..on a même pu se photographier avec la chanteuse en fin de soirée... a recommander... tarif très attractif pour une soirée riche

Samedi 30 mars 2019 nous nous y sommes rendu pour profiter du spectacle fado qui fut magnifique rempli d émotions. Un repas délicieux. Un endroit a faire absolument une fois au moins dans sa vie. Longue vie a ce restaurant pour la continuité de notre fado authentique.

Belle ambiance traditionnelle portugaise au rythme du fado, avec d'excellent chanteurs et chanteuses qui jouent plusieurs tableaux musicaux avec talent. Le tout accompagné d'un bon repas !

It seemed interesting on the way in, but we were given a table upstairs with the promise of live music. This turned into a 15 euro per head charge we were not told about. Our food was tasteless and effortless. A prawn cocktail with 2 prawns and a beaten steak that was cooked beyond dry and served with a tiny portion of old sautéed potatoes and what seemed like boil in a bag rice. My partner's food was worse but that is for her to write up. We left without eating the main course and found another restaurant. It's a tourist trap and little more, but looks like something more. Don't be fooled. I had asked for the food they were most proud of.

It's bit difficult to find it and the arrival was bit confusing as we were not sure if we are at the right place, but once we settled, everything was great. Service was very professional and staff was helpful, the food was basic, but authentic and the highlight of the night - 5 fado music performers were amazing. Well worth the visit and super value for money.

Wine extremely overpriced. We bought a bottle of lello red douro there and were charged 25 euros. It is worth less than 5 euros in the stores. (you can verify on their online menu). I wouldn't mind paying twice its value, but 5 times is too much. Also, the restaurant is good and you can/deserve to get some great wine for 25 Euros anywhere in Portugal. The music is paid seperately (15 euros fee) so the bottle cost is not justificated by the show.
Besides the wine, The food is excellent. The musicians were plenty and some were really good, so no bad comments on this side.
For a more reasonnably priced fado show, just walk the streets of Bairro Alto or Alfama and some places have cheap food/wine prices and free fado.

Fados e fadistas excelentes.. A comida podia ser melhor e o serviço mais caloroso.. O caldo verde era uma sopa de batata com uns fios de couve e o bacalhau à braz um prato feito para turistas que não têm o hábito dos sabores do prato. De resto, e apesar do ambiente um pouco frio, nos momentos em que se ouve o fado tudo se compoe.. Considerando o preço, penso que o espetáculo de fado tem qualidade para ser mais caro, mas a cozinha deveria ser mais barata..

Prestation restauration excellente. Spectcle Fado super. J ai passe un tres bon moment. ATTENTION aux avis d internautes qui comparent gastronomie francaise et portugaise. Rien a voir. Etablissement a decouvrir si vous venez a Lisbonne.

Excelente restaríamos no bairro de Alfama, boa comida e um fado espetacular. Vale a pena ser visitado. Não deixa nada a desejar em relação a outras casas mais tradicionais em Lisboa.

Jedna gwiazdka za fado. Tylko za fado, bo jedzenie było koszmarne! Zimna zupa, twarda i żylasta wołowina i deser creme brulee na przypalonym mleku. Porażka!

Notre avis concernant le Réveillon 2020 est conforme au précédent : les 3,5 heures de présence, avec 3 fois 15 minutes de Fado, même si de bonne qualité (donc une étoile), assorties d'un repas quelconque, ne valaient pas 200 € (100 € par personne).

Soiree ratée ennuyeuse et chèrement payee pour la st Sylvestre sans animation digne de ce nom pour pimenter le passage a l'an 2020
Repas fade et froid comme l'atmosphère dans son ensemble sans saver ou enthousisasme qui nous engagent avec envie et ambition pour 2020
Heureusement quelques séquences de fado intense et une dispobibilite professionnele honorable de la part des serveurs nous ont permis d'avaler nos couleuvres non sans melancolie fado oblige

Average food for above average prices. The entertainment was a bit mixed - singing was really nice, but the rest (dancing to music from a speaker) was a bit too touristy, not worth it in my opinion.

Заведение оставило неоднозначное впечатление. Кухня, как и в большинстве заведений Португалии слабая. Обслуживание долгое. В общем, это точно не то место, где можно хорошо поесть. Однако, артисты очень хорошо выступают, имеют сильные голоса и замечательно работают с публикой. Прекрасные костюмы позволяют полностью погрузиться в национальный колорит. Фаду стоит посмотреть хотя бы раз, если вы гость в Португалии.

La comida es discretamente normal. Se aprovechan muchísimo del espectáculo de fado para cobrar caro un menú normalito. El fado es muy bello pero lo que no es de recibo es saquear al turista por "amor al arte".

Un endroit à ne pas raté sur Lisbonne au coeur du quartier alfama. ..
Comme guide traducteur français je vous le recommande, moi même je suis allée plusieurs fois avec des amis et avec des groupes rien à redire

Food, drink and FADO, the three portuguese treasures that can be found on "Fado em Si". The simpathy and history cover all the building wich become alive with the show provided by diferente Fado voices forward by the historical portuguese guitar.
With a really good options on menu, specially the "bacalhau à mariaqueiro".
Tipically the price per person is round about 50€ that include the meal, drinks and the Fado shows that start at the beginning of the meal and go until the end of the night with some intervals and artist changes.

Esperienza Negativa.
Luogo pessimo, personale scorbutico. Sembravamo dei clienti non desiderati ma non solo il nostro gruppo ma anche coloro che erano lì. Nessun sorriso da parte dei camerieri. Acqua al tavolo caldissima, aria condizionata assente. Appena ti permettevi di chiedere qualcosa l'unica risposta era No! Quindi, servizio pessimo e menú non del tutto sufficiente. Bagno a disposizione solamente due.
Eravamo un gruppo di 38 persone, e comunque non siamo arrivati lì senza che lo sapessero, ma già ci aspettavano.
Si presenta come un luogo elegante, ma non ha nulla di elegante.

Dwie gwiazdki tylko ze wzgledu na Fado na dobrym poziomie. Restauracja chcę być miejscem elitarnym a niestety jakość dań jest zła - totalna pomyłką jest klasyka czyli dorsz - twardy na zewnątrz bo chyba odgrzewany - katastrofa. Ceny adekwatne do niespełnionych ambicji - katastrofa. Zdecydowanie nie polecam.

Um restaurante agradável bem no coração de alfama onde o fado é rainha. A qualidade da comida não compromete e o ambiente junto a uma das muralhas de alfama é muito interessante. Só achei que o staff poderia ser mais amistoso e menos frio. O preço também é mais voltado para o turista do que para os nativos, logo só compensa com um desconto caso contrário é demasiado caro.

15€ par personne pour écouter du fado en comite restreint. Musique vraiment magnifique.
Néanmoins on nous propose 1h15 de musique alors qu il n y en a bcp moins sans compter sur une nourriture très moyenne pour un prix excessif.

Je vous recommande cette maison du Fado.
J'ai suivi les avis et je n'ai vraiment pas été dessus.
Les plats étaient de qualités et os Fadistas au top de leur forme.
Belle ambiance et très bel accueil.

Visit the musuem of fado before to get some history and context for the music.
As a family we rarely enjoy what we call fine dinning, but this time was different. We all loved the music. There several performers with such beautiful voices. In the two hours we were there they performed 10 songs. The Portuguese stake was great best my daughter had ever eaten. She says most steaks taste burnt and hard to swallow, but not this one. Highly recommend the pork with bacon, but it was all good. Apparently the deserts were also delicious. The moose was rich and melts in your mouth.
Watch that the bread and starters are automatically included and cost 15 euro. We spent 40 euro per head.

Très cher pour la prestation annoncée. (restauration et fado) Nous avons eu droit à 4 fadistes qui ont chanté 3 minutes chacun, de plus pressés de partir.
Autre exemple, dès le debut le serveur s empresse de déboucher une bouteille d'eau à 4€50 que vous le vouliez ou non...
Vraiment très decu , il y a d'autres restaurants a côté 2x moins cher pour le même service.
Nous vous le deconseillons...Dommage.

Une merveille cet endroit pour manger très correctement en se gavant de Fado d'excellent niveau. C'est romantique à souhait et il faut y aller en amoureux.

Une soirée mémorable.
La nourriture est moyenne. L'entrée et le plat principal étaient ok, mais le plat principal était très bon.
Le restaurant s'adapte aux végétariens et végétaliens, ce qui n'est pas toujours évident au Portugal.
La musique... Absolument fantastique! Du grand Fado! Un nouvel artiste toutes les demi-heures, pour 3 chansons chacun. Mais quelle maestria... Le son dans la salle était magique.
Je recommande à tout le monde de venir.
Les 45 euros pour le menu gastronomique, incluant des heures de fado + 3 services + vin, eau et café sont absolument justifiés.

Un joli cadre avec pierres apparentes et un côté intimiste. La nourriture servie est correct sans plus. J'ai plus été déçu par le spectacle de fado annoncé comme étant le lieu à Lisbonne où le fado était le meilleur, les performances n'ont pas été à la hauteur de mes attentes. Performances très moyenne sauf pour l'une de chanteuse qui sortait clairement du lot. On a quand même l'impression d'être dans un restaurant attrape touristes avec des performances qui sans être mauvaises demeurent relativement moyennes, ce qui compte tenu du coût Me semble inadapté.
Et vous y passerez néanmoins un moment sympathique mais pour beaucoup plus cher qu'ailleurs à Lisbonne et pas forcément pour une qualité au dessus, voir même sur moi juste que le spectacle est une qualité en dessous de ce que j'ai pu voir ailleurs au Portugal en terme de fado.

A mixed bag. On the one hand, there were good fado performances - five times, every half an hour or so, the band would come with a different singer and play three songs.
On the other hand, the food was mediocre at best. The mussels were sandy and tough, the cheesecake tasted like frozen cheesecake. While the duck I ate was acceptable, some people I was with ate a lookdown fillet that they reported tasting funny. The prices were also high, especially taking into account the quality of the food; 2.50 for an expresso is quite high in Portugal, for instance, but we can give that a pass, as we're not paying only for the food.

This restaurant is a tourist trap first class. We ate extremely uninspiring meat dishes, the sauce was merely a watery substance and the meat itself was chewy. They didn't have the wine we ordered and we were offered a 'similar' bottle for the same price of 50€. A small search on the web priced the bottle at 3.99€...
Luckily the fado music was great.

I really liked this place. I think it's much better than clube de Fado that's just around the corner. The service was good, the décor is nice, and since the singers rotate between different restaurants there is no competition music-wise. I enjoyed my food and we picked a great bottle of wine.

Great fado music, nice atmosphere in the restaurant, superb service! A bit more expensive, but everything together worth the price!
