Awesome hostel with a clean, modern feel and great facilities (swimming pool, table tennis, skate ramp etc). It's a great place to meet fellow travelers and surfers. Everyone is friendly and the staff are great. Will definitely be back.

Awesome. The private room with private bathroom is just perfect and offers you everything you need. Enough privacy like in a hotel but still the cool vibe of a hostel.

I can say only good things, can't wait to come back. Very nice, clean room, well equipped. The public zone is stylish and cool. Staff is friendly and speaking good english. The beach is not far but be prepared to the way back, it is located on a hill.

One of the best hostels I have had the pleasure of staying in! Brand new facilities with its own pool, lounge, skate-ramp and slack line area. Lots of cool interesting people to meet - especially if you are surfing. You can pay for boards and wetsuits at the hostel then walk down to Foz do Lizandro (20min walk). Or you can take the beach bus for €1. There is a small shop around the corner or there is the Continental supermarket which is also a 20min walk. Will definitely be coming back here! 5 stars.

El sitio está muy chulo y el personal es muy atento y amable, en ese aspecto es todo positivo. Lo malo son los huéspedes que te puedan tocar y que por la noche no hay nadie del personal del hotel que se encargue de comprobar que se cumplan las horas de silencio y los malos comportamientos de algunos huéspedes. Lo siento por la puntuación pero también siento haber pagado por una estancia y no haber descansado

Me encantó! Repetiría con los ojos cerrados. No hablan español, tienes que hablar inglés. El desayuno está incluido y el orden se respeta muy bien. Las habitaciones suelen ser de 10 personas aproximadamente y en cada habitación hay 3 WC, 2 duchas y lavabos fuera. Tiene zona de skate, piscina y hamacas. A 5 minutos de la playa. Puedes aparcar en las inmediaciones. También te alquilan bicis y te hacen tour, a parte de tablas de surf y clases de yoga. Muy completo todo!

Great building and facilities. Clean rooms, good bunks. Some other options are a bit closer to town/beaches but it’s not too long of a walk to either. Kitchen can get a bit crowded.

Fatal un engaño toda su información

Throughout our travel in Portugal we felt very welcome at every place. However, this place gave us the feeling of being paying customers and nothing more. The staff did not seem pleased to check us in but made us feel like another disruption of their day. This hostel has a rather sterile and bland atmosphere, feeling like a mass processing cash cow. It's okay for a few nights, however not so great if you want to explore the area on your own as there is a 20mins walk up the hill from the centre.

Service and rooms were excellent and definitely perfect for surfers I would say though that you should probably be a little older like around 25 to 30 to get the whole experience

Beautiful layout and setting. The facilities are brand new and the view is stunning as well. Highly recommend it.

We were one week there, from sunday to saturday, and it was awesome. Most of the time when we were there it was really quiet to easy relax, the swimming pool was great and we did stand-up-paddeling for 2h (15€) and surfing for 2h (25€). It's cheap too to get a bike for one day (15€) so you can go to the next beaches near Ericeira. Great rooms, in the 10-person-bedroom are 2 tubs, but for us it was enough. !! It's important to take a padlock with a thin shackle for the locker under the bed !!

Sehr schönes Hostel! Viele Junge Leute, sehr sauber und schöne Anlage. Frühstück besteht aus Brot und Konfitüre, sowie Müsli und Café/Orangensaft. Mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten zum Strand und in den Ort. Zu Fuß eher ungelegen (Strand circa 25 Minuten zu Fuß). Wir hatten Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad, Balkon und Meerblick, da war nichts auszusetzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

They have a ‘no noice after 22h’ polacy, why do they have it if it just isn’t true? If you wonna sleep at night u should not go there!! Other guest are rude, loud and disrespectfull. Went to the reception because of the noice two times, they dind’t do anything. We had a ‘luxury pot for two persons’ not worth the price at all because you can’t sleep.

Amazing hostel! Clean rooms, excellent outdoor area, incredibly polite staff and you can feel an amazing “vibe” all over the place. No doubts I would recommend Aktion to my friends!

Totalement en désaccord avec le grand nombre de commentaires lu ci dessous . En effet, vu sur la mer hostel propre tout neuf avec piscine . Cependant, très très éloigné de tout . Il faut être véhiculé , j’aurai su je n’aurais pas logé ici. Au moins 25 min du premier spot de surf de même pour le centre ville Et pareil pour aller au supermarché . Avec un dénivelé n’en parlont pas ! Si vous voyagez seul ce n’est pas l’endroit idéal , par rapport à toutes les auberges que j’ai pu faire, dans celle ci il n’y avait aucune ambiance ! Le petit déjeuner le matin : je n’ai jamais vu un petit dej si incomplet (dans une auberge) du pain et de la confiture ... même pas un yahourt ! j’aurai su .. de plus j’étais dans un dortoir de 6 : les lits sont super bruyants et le lavabo est dans la chambre !! On entends donc tout , les gens qui se brosse les dents à 23h le soir ou à 8h le matin. En ce qui concerne la douche rien pour poser ses affaires accrocher sa serviette ! Bref beaucoup de points négatifs peu de points positifs je n’y relogerai pas !

My first hostel experience, set the bar very high. Just come stay for a bit. You really won’t want to leave.

Amazing place with an incredible atmosphere! Sunset barbecues at the pool are a must! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and the bank bed system ensures privacy (even in the 10 bed rooms). 150% worth the money!!
