Really excellent food at an extremely reasonable price. The atmosphere is quite nice but it can get busy in the mornings. Absolutely recommend it for a good breakfast / brunch

We went here for a small lunch with a grilled sandwich and a salad with iberian ham & goat cheese. Especially the salad was excellent. This is also a super nice location with nice old things from the past. The waiters are all super friendly and welcoming! Thanks for a nice lunch :)

Asked ham cheese and tomatoes in my scrambled eggs, received them separately on a plate
I thought it was my mistake, I came back the next day, asked the same, this time with explanation. They said they cannot add cheese and tomatoes in the scrambled eggs. If you can’t, just say so, don’t charge me for extras if you cannot do what I asked and give me just the ingredients. Also, how hard is it to put everything in a pan and mix?
Cappuccino is terrible here, milk too hot, smells burnt. Asked not to put any cacao on top, they ignored.
Extra avocado (half of one) will cost you 2eur

La tostada de huevos y aguacate es espectacular porque la hacen con pan con mantequilla y te ponen el zumo del día que siempre está brutal. El sitio es tranquilo y acogedor pero si no vas con tiempo te comes una cola de media hora.

직원분도 친절하시고 빵이랑 아이스 라떼, 아이스 아메리카노 다 맛있었어요! 주문할 때 아이스라떼나 아이스아메리카노는 원래 없고 음료에 얼음 넣어주신다고 말씀해주셨고 아이스라떼는 얼음 너무 많이 넣으셨다고 녹으면 더 넣으라면서 우유 더 챙겨주셨어요! 저는 아이스라떼가 진짜 맛있었어요ㅠㅠ 또먹고 싶네요,,

Pleasant ambiance, friendly welcome and good service. Eggs were tasty, and juice was fresh.
Coffee is not recommended - it was bland and watered down both as espresso and in a cappuccino.

We went there twice for brunch. The staffs were very friendly. They have many food options: croissant, quiche, sandwich/toast, yogurt, etc. My favorites are the quiche and the avocado toast! The hot chocolate was very good too. They have some desserts as well. The cheesecake was quite good (though not so amazing), however, I wouldn't re-order the chocolate cake. Overall, it's the perfect place for breakfast/brunch.

A great selection to suit any budget. Chilled music. (Sitting at the dock of the bay, Eg). Lovely food. From just toast and coffee, to elegant salads. As I had just finished eating, a warm buttery aroma of freshly baked croissants filled the room... Yes they bake all their own breads here... So I asked if I could buy one to take away and she gave me one fresh out of the oven. . So you should buy bread here too. I adore this place!

Ate here twice for a small breakfast (filled croissants) and coffee is good. Cash only (unless they just don't accept foreign cards). Menus hanging on the side of the table and waitresses were swift and friendly when we were there (04/03 + can't remember). Nice little place with lots to look at.

I loved this place! Bilingual menus and staff; good food & coffee that doesn't empty your wallet. The bread is so fresh it practically melts in the mouth, and the ambience defies description (but here goes...)
The playlist was perfectly balanced with enough of a mix of genres and tempi to keep it interesting without killing the all-important relaxing vibe. The WiFi works, so you can just stare at your phone if you want to, but I recommend looking around you because someone has gone to great lengths to put all manner of interesting things on the shelves and elsewhere.

Hands down best avocado toast. Well salted. A little bit of onion. Bravo. The cheese toast is not good but this place is worth it for the avocado toast. No cold brew like a few of their outposts which is sad.

Piękne klimatyczne wnętrze. Obsługa w porządku. Jedzenie niedobre, chipsy serwowane do zestawów śniadaniowych to po prostu zwykłe chipsy solone z paczki. Kawa niestety też bardzo niedobra. Cappuccino miało posmak kawy instant. Wielka szkoda.

food and coffee is good. staff is friendly - BUT super badly organised. we were a table of 3. each one of us got his food seperatly, in a frequence of 30 minutes. so it took the kitchen nearly one and a half hour to bring us 3 sandwhiches, and everyone ate for himself while the other ones watched. the waiters seemed not sorry, uninterested and not committed at all. we will not be coming back

Excellent breakfast (served even after 12), great coffee and fantastic fresh croissants, one of the best I've ever had. The interior is nicely decorated, the staff is doing a good job and the music is just right.
I'd appreciate some gluten-free options and possibility to pay by card but apart from that, the place was perfect.

Hypsterish place. Small, crowded, with food and no AC. Probably they think if they leave the door open all the time air will just pop in.
If you want having breakfast at 40degrees with people steping on your toes and pushing their chairs into yours this is definetelly the place to be!

When my older mother needed a place to rest while clambering over the hills in Lisbon to see all the usual tourist spots, we wandered into this charming little cafe. It was delicious with an interesting decor- vintage cafe meets that strange uncle that you suspect did a lot more travelling in his youth than you know about, with a touch of modern inserted through the beats speakers and advertised Wi-Fi code. The staff were lovely - checked in on you just enough to keep things moving but not enough to feel a lack of privacy. I liked the music playing which was as eclectic as the decor, though I will say between the loud music and the road of the busy street outside my mother's hearing aids were getting confused. A little lower volume music would be nice! The food was fantastic - the yogurt was heavenly and the salads had an abundant helping of meat. The almond croissant was not at all what I was expecting but I ate it all so I suppose that speaks to my opinion on it! My only real complaint, and the only reason that this is a 4 and not a 5 star was that when I went to pay I found that they are CASH ONLY. Not even accepting a debit card. I could understand a back alley little shop with very few customers only taking cash, but this is on a big street and has a significant amount of traffic (check out how many reviews there are!) so in my opinion it's not really acceptable at this point to only accept cash. That said, great place would recommend (after visiting an ATM)!

My first meal in Lisbon! I was pleasantly presented with wonderful service great food, and an overall great experience.
The ambience gives you an old school vibe with modern pleasantries like free WiFi and a modern menu.
Note: let the server know ahead of time that you want to split the bill otherwise they cannot once the bill is produced.
I would recommend this place for everyone.

The breakfast is nice but not exceptional. It seems like more people are obsessed with high review scores, just like us because there was a line. Basically you can get some croissants with various spreads/meats for reasonable prices. The croissant with custard (egg spread) is very nice! It has the same filling like in Pasteis de Belem!

Very good coffee, soup of the day is also a welcome relief if you have headakes for reasons . The croissant is well balanced works with both sweet and savoury fillings.

Good coffee at good prices. This place has a relaxed atmosphere and an eclectic decor full of vintage decorations. They also have chill music playing in the background. The staff didn’t speak a lot of English, but they are very friendly and the shop has English menus.

Fabrica é considerada a melhor cafeteria da cidade. Peça uma "uma bica", que é como um expresso - apenas um pouco maior e servido em uma xícara pequena sendo apreciado sem adições... pretinho básico! I thought this was a nice relaxing place to take lunch or a coffee break. I am sure it is also good for a light breakfast. It is located just up the street from Terreiro do Paço Station and the Harbor area, and is to be found in a row of shops with vintage storefronts. The interior is cozy with highly appropriate time-period decor. I can imagine this place gets crowded at times, but this was not an issue with my visit. The service was very good and the use of English was no problem. They offered several tempting baked goods, but I exercised willpower. My lunch consisted of a ham and cheese sandwich, a coffee and a sparkling water for €5.20. This was $5.75 USD with the exchange rate at the time. It was an excellent bargain. The only negative was that they were out of croissants, so I had to choose dark bread. But my sandwich was good nonetheless. If you are in the area and need a small bite, a sweet treat or just a coffee, this place is a good choice.

Los croissants de nutella normales (podria hacermelos en casa), tosta de jamon serrano, tosta de aguacate y huevo revuelto, zumo de naranja y 2 cafés 18e. Mi tosta de aguacate está sosa. Tardaron mucho en traernos la comida y no estaban llenos. Se supone que fabrican ellos, pero mi sensación es que ellos sólo descongelar... No se puede pagar con tarjeta!! La atención de personal es regular tirando a mala. No lo recomiendo!!

Servicio muy muy muy lento, desayuno muy normal, precio abusivos, y encima no aceptan tarjetas.
En tiempos sería un gran sitio para desayunar, hoy nada recomendable, hay cientos de sitios mucho mejores, más baratos y de mil veces mejor calidad.

Best coffee I’ve had in Lisbon. And definitely a great place to hang-out and relax after a long day of walking in Lisbon. The brewed coffee is good and the hot chocolate with oat milk is very good, not too sweet.

All right, we arrived just at the opening... but then if the staff only gets pleasant one hour after, change the opening hour.
So, when we arrived no salutation no smile from the lady there. No indication as to where we "should" take a seat. And finaly, when we by ourselves chose a table, what we were confronted to was not a pleasant and polite invitation to chose another one but a order to do so, even though the place was absolutely empty.
I therefore cannot tell anything about the food as I left Immediately.

Two stars for being edible food but completely cold eggs, a slimy salmon salad, bad lattes with bad milk technique, doesn’t accept non-Portuguese cards, I’m not sure we agree on what toast is but it seems like this place may believe toast is to be breathed on lightly before serving to a customer. High prices for low quality food, good luck!

Der Laden ist schon. Aber im November Türen auf lassen und kalte zu Spuren. Ein Minuspunkt, Die Mitarbeiter sind gerne mal alle in der Küche alle, man wird nicht gefragt ob evt. Noch was bestellen möchten. Crossont super Rest gut, Café auch ok. Mir zu Touri, mag es authentisch.

Best breakfast we had in Lisbon. Best ham and cheese croissants I ever had! Coffee is on a more traditional side so don't expect any of that spiced lambswool milk rubbish but the food is fantastic. Have a pain au raisin for dessert, it's the size of your face!

Nos lo habían recomendado como los mejores Croissants de Lisboa y tenemos que decir que (aunque no hayamos probado muchos más) están increíbles. Además las tostadas, sandwiches y platos de desayuno tienen una pinta espectacular. El local es acogedor y los camareros muy atentos y simpáticos.
Lo único malo es que en algunos momentos se forma cola y hay que esperar para sentarte (nosotros tuvimos que comprar un día para llevar y al día siguiente desayunamos en la mesa pues no había cola) aunque si os toca hacer cola seguro que merecera la pena la espera.

Pedimos croisant saladas, vinieron bien presentadas pero frías, y luego al pedir la cuenta nós quisieron cobrar 3 euros por un agregado de huevos revueltos, un poco mucho querer cobrar más por 1 ítem más de lo que valía el plato. En fin, creó que el sentido común debe ser primordial al momento de cobrar la cuenta. Buena comida y café pero falla en el manejo del cliente.

My croissant with lox was good. My husband liked his eggs. However my latte was a bit disappointing. It comes in a glass and both taste and foam didn’t do it for me. Place is cute. It has overhead fans and bunch of tables. It’s table service. Our waitress/barista was very nice. It took some time to get the food. It also took forever to get a check.

Меню мабуть не вразить різноманітністю, проте це саме те місце в історичній частині Лісабону, куди обов'язково потрібно зайти перекусити тостом з авокадо чи яєшнею і випити кави або вина. В наш метушливий час такі затишні місця - можливість сховатися на деякий час від галасу великого міста і неквапливо отримати насолоду від простої, але смачної їжі.

This is hands down one of the best croissants I be ever had! I was blown away with 4 different fillings we tried; azores butter, ham and cheese, ham, cheese, and a perfectly fried egg, and Nutella.
The avocado toast was additionally sensational! Perfectly scrambled egg and the tomatoes were divine.
I will be back here tomorrow and the next, despite my wife’s insistence to “try new things.” (Love ya, babe)
Didn’t try the coffee, but I will tomorrow ;)

Very very good. Bit pricey but it worth it if you are a tourist visiting Lisbon and do not know Portuguese. Staff is friendly and breakfast was awesome. You might need to wait for a table since the place is incredibly popular and remarkably small.

Sehr netter, schneller und höflicher Service. Um 10:30 sowohl am Samstag als auch am Sonntag darauf problemlos einen Tisch bekommen. Der Kaffee war nicht der beste aber durchaus gut. Das Essen ist perfekt für ein Frühstück/ Brunch. Ich hatte das Lachs-Sandwich und meine Begleitung das Grilled Sandwich mit Schinken und Käse und Chips. Alles war lecker und das Brot super lecker. Die Croissants sind sie leckersten, die ich je gegessen habe. Man muss zwar am Tresen und in Bar zahlen aber damit hab ich kein Problem. Der Service ist super organisiert und behält trotz vollem Lokal dem Überblick. Die Einrichtung lädt zum Entdecken ein. Sehr nett gemacht. Es gibt frischem Saft und diverse Sorten anderer kälter und wärmer Getränke und Weine. Ich kann den Laden nur wärmstens empfehlen und komme definitiv wieder, wenn ich in Lissabon bin!

Nice and cosy place, was busy and had to queue for 10 mins, but worth the wait, when u see a vacant table just grab it, I had an 'Extra Large' from their croissant menu, and never have I had a better croissant, double egg, ham and cheese, proper tasty, when ur finished just go up and pay as they can get quite busy... and chips mean crisps if ur from the UK.

Locale caratteristico in old style. Oggetti vintage ovunque ed atmosfera retrò . Personale gentile e accogliente. Per colazione, dopo averlo scoperto, non abbiamo più cambiato. I croissant sono buonissimi!!!!

Lovely little spot for a relaxed breakfast if you need a little more than the classic Portuguese croissant and espresso. I had a marvelous avocado toast topped with scrambled eggs, yogurt with muesli, and a perfectly made galão coffee. The funky decor is fun to peruse while awaiting your meal.

Went there twice, and the first time was definitely a five stars review. Good coffee, and the boy serving us gave good service. The second time was not so good. Lacking service and the food wasnt much. We choose to focuse on the first time, and would definitely try it again.

Была здесь на завтраке, приятное кафе, уютный интерьер, вежливый персонал, быстрый сервис, вкусная еда. В кафе очень много туристов, одни туристы, это кафе на туристов и расчитанно. Цены для завтрака, нормальные, но не сказала бы что низкие, в Лиссабоне в кафе «для местных» можно позавтракать вкуснее и раза в два дешевле. В общем кафе понравилось, но без восторга, искренне не понимаю почему на завтрак здесь стоят очереди.
