Was worried about bread and olive as mentioned in negative reviews, but it appears they no longer do that (also they were at reasonable price if you want those).
very friendly and engaging staff and environment. better food quality than most tourism restaurants. bit pricey but if you dont mind about 20~30 per person in dinner, this place certainly is a wonderful place to have dinner.

(English)The worst service ever. One of the waiters is super RUDE. He charge us things that didn't serve us and yelled at us with a bad attitude, saying that it was our fault and just wanted to send us out of the restaurant. The food looked good but the taste was avarage and didn't worth the price.
(Portugues)Aqui tive o pior serviço na minha vida. Um dos empregados era muito antipático. Isto aconteceu no dia 17 de Maio. Pedimos um menú do prato do dia que estava escrito na porta que é servido com a bebida a sopa a sobremesa e tudo. Esquecemos nos dos acompanhamentos quando estávamos a comer e pagámos a conta. Mas logo depois de pagar nos lembramos e perguntámos porque não foi servido a bebida e a sobremesa e etc. mas nos combraram tudo. O empregado GRITOU a nós, com uma atitude muito MÁ e ARROGANTE, que não tínhamos dito a PALAVRA 'menú' e que o preço de um menú e só o prato é o mesmo, e só nos queria mandar a sair do restaurante. Nunca tive um serviço tão mau. E a comida não valia o preço. Nunca vos recomendo ir a este restaurante.

Super expérience. Le cadre est magnifique, propre et chaleureux. Nous étions 3 et nous avions commandé un plateau de fruits de mer pour 2. C'était très frais et bon. Nous avons ensuite pris 2 starters dont des gambas qui étaient délicieuses et 2 desserts pour terminer ce copieux repas. Je recommande personnellement le cheese cake au citron en dessert. Wir haben uns für ein Menü für 2 Pers mit 2 Hummer und Meeresfrüchterisotto als Belage entschieden (60€) plus 1Fl Sauvignon Blanc (18€)und wir haben es nicht bereut(Man kann sich sein Hummer aus der Aquarium sogar selber aussuchen) Preise sind angemessen, man kann auch ausgefallene seltene Meeresfrüchte wie Entenmuscheln essen.
Das Essen war köstlich und mehr als ausreichend, die Servicemitarbeiter sehr bemüht und freundlich - es war eine perfekte Abendessen!

Special promotion of the night was 2 fresh grilled lobsters with seafood rice. It didn't disappoint. Went really well with the green wine. Their lime cheesecake was also a perfect dessert to finish.

The best ever been shelfisih restaurant so far. We had been 30. anniversary dinner there. I had seafood soupe and mixed shelfish with lime cheesecake finish. My wife had grilled tuna fish. All were great taste and freshly made. All staff was great and helpful. Highly recoomended place.

Very good fish dishes! Really fresh and tasty!
We got buttery cheese and Iberian pork sausage as starter. Very good.
We got Baxiamar shellfish mix as main. Really amazing. But attention: the shellfish plate is served cold execpt the claims.
To both courses we got toasted bread with butter. The bread goes really well with cheese and especially with clam sauce.
Last but not least the dessert. I'm not the dessert person, but the Baixamar poached meringue was the hit! You have to try this!
The seafood rice with lobster looked very good, too. Next time we definitely will try that one.
The only minor issue would be the very bright lights. They probably will make you not to stay very long there, but we stayed there two hours :-)

Excellent excellent rien d autre a dire.... poissons, crustacés très frais je vous conseille une de leurs spécialités le " cataplana des fruits de mer et langouste " vraiment trop bon j ai adorée....ils ont du très bon vin aussi ....le personnel est de très bon conseil n hésitez pas a leur demander et par la même occasion très sympa.....Merci a eux :)

Just goooood food. I had the fish in the gratin sauce and it was just at it should be done. The souce was on point, the sweet potato pure was delicious and I was full at the end. The food arrived quicky and the service was really friendly

Bardzo dobre owoce morza. Super! Dorsz, tuńczyk, krewetki. Wino też dobre. Ceny wyższe, ale odpowiednie do smaku. Obsługa bardzo sympatyczna, rozmawiają na luzie z klientami. Na początek kładą na stół chleb z owliwkami i serem, co jest dodatkowo płatne, ale nas o tym poinformowali.

full menu 주문했어요. 1인 11.5유로. 식전 빵과 올리브절임이 제공됩니다. 또 메인 메뉴는 두 가지 중에 선택 가능했어요. 하나는 소고기 리조또, 하나는 문어 샐러드. 저희는 둘이서 하나씩 주문했구요. 곁들임 음료도 제공됩니다. 와인주문해서 같이 마셨구요. 식사 후엔 디저트 제공되구요 디저트 후에는 에스프레소 커피도 줍니다. 직원은 굉장히 친절하구요, 저희 테이블 담당 직원은 식사 후에 좋은 하루 보내라고 인사도 해주고 나갈 때 악수도 해줬어요. 소고기 리조또는 불고기 덮밥 맛이니 익숙하게 드실 수 있으실 것 같아요.

Food was great, wine as well. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, ready to give information on anything, and ready to have a fun chat. It was a great way to say goodbye to Lisbon before our flight! See you again!

This restaurant has very good food indeed, they seem base on traditional cousine but made it more sofisticated and interesting taste, added their own specific. Size of portions is big, no one will leave hungry :)

Nope, nope, nope! Food was good but I can not support a restaurant that takes advantage of tourists. Restaurants often are profitable because of tourists. So to take advantage of them but up charging them on items is to ‘bite the hand that feeds you.’ A tourist might. It tell you to your face that they feel you took advantage of them because the are will in pay the extra money to avoid the confrontation but you still stole their money.
Don’t offer food to customers, such as bread, without telling them you will be charging them. The extra 10 euros you charged me without my permission voided an otherwise good meal. Now I just have a bad taste in my mouth for your establishment.

Okay, but watch it. You will find better restaurants at a more interesting price point nearby. Went there because a 30 percent discount via tripadvisor caught our interest. Immediately got proposed a “chefs special” at 30 euros p.p. Appetisers will be offered but are not complementary! Will push for dessert and tip. Overall quality of our dish, pataplana was okay-ish. Nothing memorable. Still worked out at 20 euros per head including the drinks. Too expensive considering it’s context, it is clearly designed for tourists and you will notice this on your plate and in your wallet.

Le restaurant se présente comme chaleureux et familial, mais c’est tout le contraire. On vous sert une petite mise en bouche sans préciser que celle ci est payante (des olives et du pain..), on ne vous dis pas non plus que l’eau est payante. On a commandé des moules, une assiette de 10 moules dont 1 vide et 2 fermées.. pas top surtout quand on regarde le prix. De plus, le serveur nous a apporté une première note, puis nous a ramené notre monnaie avec une note qui avait augmentée. Clairement une arnaque, beaucoup de resto aux alentours sont bien mieux.

식전빵에 나온 버터는 파슬리를 섞어 정말 풍미가 좋았다.
이날의 메인메뉴는 살짝만 익힌 연어 스테이크였다. 생연어는 좋아하지만 모든 생선구이를 돈주고 사먹지는 않던 나는 연어스테이크가 나온다 하여 기대를 낮췄다. 그러나 이 집의 연어스테이크는 생선구이 특유의 퍽퍽한 식감없이 부드럽게 입안에서 녹았다. 밑에 깔린 감자와 (아보카도?)소스 또한 부드럽게 잘어울려 정말 남김없이 먹었다.
한국에 돌아온 지금, 갑자기 생각난 연어스테이크에 구글지도를 켜 이 페이지까지 들어왔으나 리뷰를 보니 연어스테이크 리뷰가 없어 아무래도 먹은 사람이 적은 것 같다. 계속 바뀌는 full menu에 다시가도 만날 수 없다는 생각에 슬퍼지는 밤이다. 레시피를 알아서 집에서라도 그때의 그 맛을 다시 느끼고 싶다.
I would like to know the recipe for salmon steak. I came back to Korea, but I keep thinking about it. Thank you for this wonderful food. That's why I have to come back to Lisbon.

Muy buen sitio en la parte baja del barrio de Alfama para comer pescados a precios razonables para lo que se está convirtiendo Lisboa (menos el café, baratísimo en todos lados ). Muy buenos berberechos y in aceptables arroz con langosta, aunque le faltaba un punto de sabor. Recomendable

Location molto carina, a pochi passi dalla centralissima praça do comercio. Servizio completo, menù in italiano, personale attento e premuroso, abile a parlare altre lingue! Consigliato per una sosta piacevole infatti non troverete la solita trattoria portoghese bensì piatti ricercati, impiattati in maniera fine. Specialità di pesce, freschissimo, a vista il pescato! In acquario le aragoste! Anche i frutti di mari appena pescati. Conto davvero onesto, però abbiamo approfittato dello sconto niente male della nota app . Per la vostra serata un po’ chic nella capitale!

Un sitio agradable y un muy buen trato por parte del personal.
Hemos comido un arroz con marisco muy rico, incluido en un menu del dia con unas aceitunas y algo de untar con base de mantequilla como aperitivo, copa de vino, postre y cafe. Todo ello por 11,50€, increible relacion precio-calidad.
Posibilidad de comer pescado y marisco a la carta, pero no puedo opinar porque con el menu nos ha sido suficiente.

Tolles Restaurant mit exzellenten portugiesischen Fisch und Meeresfruchtgerichten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und berät gut. Preislich absolut im Rahmen, bei den Mittagsmenüs sogar recht günstig. Abends am besten vorbestellen, da es dann gut besucht ist.

Piuttosto turistico!
Attirata dalle buone recensioni, anche italiane, ho pensato bene di far tappa in questo ristorante. Non ho mangiato male, ma neanche benissimo come descrivono le recensioni. Ho provato portate a base di pesce tutte poco più della sufficienza. Conto caro per ciò che offre 64€ ca in due. Altrove mi è capitato di mangiare meglio. Non lo consiglio mi dispiace!

One of the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon. I had the most delicious octopus ever. Good wines and portos. The service is excellent. I recommend it 100%.

I came to this restaurant with some of my friends and the experience and the food was 5 stars. The manager went above and beyond to make the experience amazing. Definitely one of the best seafood I have ever had. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and would come back in a heartbeat!! Great restaurant!!!

Great food (from meat to fish), cozy atmosphere and very friendly service not short of placing good jokes. Was an informal business dinner and everyone in the group was extremely happy with spending the evening here! Highly recommended but you NEED to reserve in advance (very popular place)

Pretty good and busy seafood restaurant. I love seafood and had the grill octopus and my husband got the seafood linguine. Both were pretty decent size and tasted pretty good as well as being fresh. Lobsters were in the aquarium like at the Asian seafood restaurant. You pick the lobster and they cook it for you but I had the octopus as I said. I would come back again as the waiters were friendly also. Great location as they are very close to the square.

Tuna is great!!! Very tender with a nice garlicky sauce, a bit salty thought. Soup is very flavourful and they’re quite generous with their seafood.

Nice little restaurant. Fresh fish and seafood. It is a little bit more expensive as it is in the touristical "hotspot" but the food is really good and the people are very friendly.

Best restaurant we visited in Lisbon! Wonderful service and outstanding food. We had the prawns, the vegetarian Bras and the seafood rice with lobster. It was all fresh, full of flavour and a generous amount. Thanks for a fantastic night!

Accueil et service sympathiques, très bons conseils pour le vin. Excellentes palourdes, une petite frustration concernant le plateau de fruits de mer "froid" qui ne contient qu'une seule huître... les standards portugais n'étant pas les mêmes que les français, il suffit juste de le savoir. Pour info, ce restaurant n'a pas de terrasse, mais la salle est agréable et pas du tout étouffante.
Je recommande cette adresse. On y passe un agréable moment.

I would have liked more seasoning but I understand the peppers were the flavor they were going for in the muscles. Adorable little date spot. The fish was also very nice.

Кушали тут blue lobster. Это самое дорогое блюдо (red lobster примерно в 2 раза дешевле) и, видимо, бывает не всегда. Сначала тащат живого, его можно пофоткать-полапать. Это даже правильно - чем он бодрее, тем свежее и вкуснее. Живьём выглядит страшновато:) Сразу спросили у официанта про вес - это позволяет понять, сколько будет стоить.
Готовят относительно быстро, подают со вкусным соусом и рисом с морепродуктами типа паэльи. Этот рис занимает ещё кастрюльку.
Официант может подсказать, как эту зверюгу есть:)
Цены на вино средние, местное дешевле, официант также может подсказать что к чему подходит. Нам посоветовали недорогое местное вино под лобстера.
Недоеденное можно попросить завернуть с собой, с радостью упакуют.
В целом довольно вежливый и обходительный персонал, понимающий туристов, изъясняющихся преимущественно жестами и не знающих толком, чего они хотят:)
Часы работы непонятные (ох уж эти их сиесты). Зашли в 18-20, спросили, сказали, что откроются после 6 вечера (т.е. 18-20 по их меркам вроде ещё не после шести))) Повторно зашли ближе к 8, уже было немало посетителей. Вобщем, это их португальское неспешное понимание времени:) А вот как закажешь, сервис сразу ускоряется.

I'm still delightedly remembering the meal we had here last week and it will stay with me for a long while to come. We had the mussels to start, then split the tuna over polenta and the cold seafood platter. To finish, I had the chocolate cake and my partner had the custard. Everything was lovely, but the tuna was especially fantastic. The restaurant itself was lovely and bright, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

저녁에 갔었는데 full menu는 따로 없었지만 문어요리와 해물밥 시켜 먹었고 둘다 존맛탱 특히 문어가 살살 녹아요! 늦게까지 손님 많은 곳이었음. Had dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic. We had octopus dish and seafood rice both of which taste so heavenly! Highly recommended

We were here with our children while we were in Lisbon, and we had a lovely experience - the seafood platter was amazing, my son had the lobster and loved it, the service was friendly and very accomodating. My daughter doesn't like fish - but even though it is a seafood restaurant, they served here and amazing steak. Highly recommend going here.

A group of us had an amazing meal during our last night here. Cesar was such an attentive waiter and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! All of us loved our dishes - we had the octopus salad, tiger prawn and seafood rice and lobster. Would highly recommend a visit here. Thanks again!

Food is great. We had nice meal. Service is good, staff is friendly BUT they are like use car “salesmen”. Try to push more expensive wines even though they haven’t tasted them. Quick to order dishes which you think you are still discussing with them. And BTW first restaurant in Portugal which asked for tip!!! Will still recommend them as food was good.

The food is excellent. Lots of choices and no matter what choice you make, you will be happy and your taste buds will be grateful! The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiters have a gift for advising you. And if you don't like seafood, you will always have Maria Catita just the building on the left of it.

Невероятно вкусные, свежие устрицы! Отменный, деликатесный вкус у всех блюд, что мы брали- стейк из трески и тунца. Необычные сочетания ингридиентов, многогранный вкус, отличная подача! Также пробовали зеленое вино впервые- тоже очень понравилось. Интересный дизайн интерьера и прекрасные, живые официанты! Все очень понравилось! Спасибо большое, вернулись бы снова обязательно!
