It wasn't hygienic specially during this covid situation. They don't use gloves to cook. Tables were not sanitized. They even tried to overcharge us.Overall, not a great service.

Pretty poor service, was sitting there for 30 minutes while people that came in after me were already served. Tacos are ok but you would at least need 5 to fill you stomach which adds up to 20€ and is quite ambitious to ask for for street food in Lisbon.

A great little find. A very welcoming team of staff and a nice clean environment and groovy music... This is even before you get into tasting the food... Which is a wonderful modern clean take on Mexican tacos. Light and full of flavour you could easily be drawn into eating the entire menu.

Incredibly disappointing experience having had an amazing meal at the original one in Miami...Mozzarella on tacos says it all...needs proper revamp if it wants to be classified as Lisbon’s go to Mexican, otherwise a tourist trap...

Not sure if you can reserve tables, but it is recommended.
The food was good, wholesome. But it wasn't overwhelming good, not the knock your socks off, what in the hell is in there good. And quite a few of the different tacos we had were rather spicy/hot. When i pointed that out to the waitress twice, she didnt react. Pity. Otherwise the service was prompt and friendly. And dont waste your time with the Churros, they were burnt, told the waitress that too, but again no reaction. Hence the 3 stars

Unos Quesadillos muy buenos!!! Te traen diferentes salsas (de menos picante a más picante). También destacar el guacamole, buenisimo con un toque picante. El servicio muy atento y los cocineros te lo preparan enfrente de ti.

Really need a lot of work. Nice facade and good location. In my neighbourhood so came twice with friends; both times same thought by both me and respective friend: very underwhelming and expensive. The food is just average and the prices quite high: 8 euros for skimpy portion of guacamole (in Lisbon!). Draft beer is a red disaster from Damm. Service poor, slow and not attentive. I am not sure where the other reviews went. A poor execution from a corporate restaurant group. I was disappointed to see that Coyo is a seemingly cool chain in Miami. Poorly done in Lisbon. A miss for sure.

The tacos are quite tasty but the corn tortillas sog out pretty fast if you let them sit too long. Would be better if they doubled the tortilla like an authentic taco. The Margaritas were excellent although we had to wait awhile for our drink order to be taken. Everything said, I would still come back and recommend it.

Great service and very tasty tacos. The guacamole was fresh and amazing. Even the churros were unreal! The service is quick and friendly, just not many tables, so anything after 9 can be a bit of a wait. Not expensive as some have suggested, and we found it to be reasonable. They put a lot of meat in the tacos! Next time we will be trying the burritos for sure.

My boyfriend decided to take me here because the tacos looked delicious and the Margarita was cheap! It's amazing!! We ended up having an extra portion to share and the price is actually affordable for the quality. Staff really helpful when I complained about some coriander in my plate. I loved it here!

The ingredients were fresh tasting. The authenticity to home cooked Mexican food was on point. The service was friendly and assistive. I would go again as I wanted authentic Mexican food and I found it here. The sort I get back home in San Francisco California.
My only complaint is the pricing. All items are expensive. For example: 8€ for guacamole? That is seriously ridiculous.
I wish everyone at Coyo Taco luck. :)

Disappointing first visit. The avocados in the guacamole weren't ripe which, for €8, is pretty unforgivable. The meat in the al pastor tacos was tasty enough but rather dry. They've only been open for a couple days, so I'm sure they'll improve. But, for now, it's hard to recommend...

Abbiamo avuto un conto finale di 33,70€. Ho lasciato alla cameriera 35€ e loro hanno fatto finta di dimenticarsi il resto.
Il resto non lo abbiamo richiesto ma la recensione negativa la facciamo.

Fantastic place in Principe Real! I have eaten here about for times and was never disappointed! The food is delicious the staff very friendly, special thanks to Sofia a very agreeable and helpful waitress! The quesadillas, the burrito bowls and the Margaritas are absolutely amazing!

€30 for a mushroom burrito, steak burrito, and .5L water. We came here because we’re HUGE fans of the Miami Coyo Taco, but this one is under par due to its unreasonable cost. The food was good, service was very attentive, but I can’t justify this cost, especially in Lisbon. We’ve frequently spent under €30 here and received two full meals with appetizers, wine, and dessert. It seems like they took the Miami menu, replaced the $ with a €, took away one taco, and largely reduced burrito size.

White collar thieves As Mexican I find this offensive, what they offer as "Mexican food" is not at all, we've just ordered two burritos and a margarita to go and where 37€!!! Burritos where quite small and was just a can of beans with just a little bit of meat, zero cream, zero cheese, disgusting, expensive, slow service, trust me, there are a lot of places where to eat in Lisboa, this is not worth it!

Staff simpático e muito atencioso, infelizmente mais um restaurante aberto para os turistas, decoração simples, mas agradável, ideal para um petisco rápido, o que não justifica se tiver que esperar muito, a moda de beber na rua enquanto se espera é gira, mas em ruas com passeios largos e com menos movimento que a rua D. Esta taquería merece una reseña larga y detallada:
TIEMPO: El lugar está lleno y hay que esperar, en mi caso, estuve esperando casi dos horas fuera porque es pequeño y la gente se queda mucho tiempo en las mesas aún sin consumir. Hay que tomar esto en cuenta si ya se tiene mucha hambre.
AUTENTICIDAD: Las tortillas son de verdad y hay una persona haciéndolas al momento, eso es un punto a favor. La carne sabe bien, el pastor está un poco seco (sabe más bien a curry), pero el alambre y la carne asada saben muy bien. Las salsas no pican, con excepción de una de habanero que está bastante sabrosa. Los frijoles refritos son muy buenos y el guacamole puede mejorar, pues algunos trozos de aguacate estaban aún muy duros.
COSTO: Este lugar es muy caro, demasiado caro. Cada taco cuesta alrededor de €4, lo que lo vuelve la taquería más cara de Lisboa. Los burritos cuestan de €12 en adelante, lo que también es muy caro. No esperen gastar menos de €20 por persona, y aún así pueden salir con hambre.
4 personas, 6 tacos, 2 burritos, 1 postre, 4 bebidas + algunas entradas: €100
ATENCIÓN: Impecable, no tuvimos ninguna queja. Durante la espera todo fue amabilidad y nos regalaron una orden de guacamole por haber esperado tanto.

It’s a chain!!! Which means the product should be standardized... it’s not. Guac was some BS. Priced at astronomical prices for lisbon. Quality is ok, left spending 30 euro a piece and still hungry... the place looks cool though, guess that’s what you pay for.

Sehr stylisch eingerichtetes Restaurant. Essen ist sehr lecker, Preise eher hoch aber akzeptabel für Qualität und Menge.
Es gibt mehrere Arten Margherita und auch Gerichte für Vegetarier (nicht vegan).

Fui ao coyo taco de príncipe real na passada sexta feira , jantar com a minha mulher e dois amigos!
Foi a minha primeira vez neste restaurante mexicano , a comida demorou um pouco mas as bebidas maravilhosas compensaram.
O staff foi impecável !
Lembrar me ei sempre da menina que estava a porta sempre super simpática e manteve sempre um sorriso desde o início da noite até me ter ido embora!

Le pongo 1 estrella por la sencilla razón de tener cubiertos de plástico. Puede que a alguien le parezca bastante radical esta puntuación pero es increíble que, en un local bien decorado, en el que puedes ver cómo cocinan y con unos precios tirando a altos disponga de cubiertos de plástico... realmente no tiene sentido. La comida está buena pero no es el mejor mexicano del mundo, la michelada estaba muy aguada y demasiado picante, pero repito me parece increíble que en pleno cambio climático, un local de estas características ofrezca cubiertos de plástico... en fin, una pena.

1h d’attente dehors c’est inacceptable, en plus on attend dehors dans le froid. Peut importe si la nourriture est bonne cela ne vaut pas le coup. Sans parler des prix qui sont abusifs.
Pas besoin de précisé que nous avons demander un geste commercial comme un verre offert et ils ont refusé.

Local muito engraçado e bem localizado, bem frequentado com empregados despachados. As margaritas são fortes e saborosas, mais de duas já bate.
As quesadillas são maravilhosas os burritos nem por isso também recomendo o guacamole.
Tem de se ir com tempo, esperámos cerca de 45 minutos por mesa, não fazem marcação.
Havemos de lá voltar.

A somewhat enjoyable experience, despite the loud (and not into the restaurant theme) music.
Staff was very friendly.
But what makes me rate it 3 stars is the ratio value/money which is as became a (low) standard in Lisbon the past few years.
Paying 60+ euros, for 3 tacos , a burrito, corn as an appetizer and guacamole, plus a beer and Margarita. it's a bit overpriced.
It now seems perfectly normal to pay 50+ for a dinner for which sometimes , albeit tasteful is just "gourmet"/glorified dishes.

Bons tacos, bons burritos, bons churros. O ambiente é agradável. Está muito bem decorado. Estacionamento e impossível, basta imaginarmos que estamos em zona vermelha, longe de metros e no príncipe real. Não achei o staff simpático, nem prestável, nem até atenciosos. Talvez estivessem num mal dia, mas é um local onde não pretendo voltar. Neste momento comem-se burritos e tacos bem melhores em outros locais.

If you're in the mood for some tacos while in Lisbon this is the place to go. Their tempura taco is delicious and so is the elote (if you like corn as much as I do). So good. I like the one near Principe Real (sp?) best.

Had a great early supper here with small family on a Monday evening. Staff was very nice and attentive. Food and drinks were very good, but the decor and design was the star. We will definitely come back again next time we’re in Lisbon.

Für Freunde von mexikanischem Essen ein Muss. Tacos sehr geil, Burrito bowl sehr geil. Viel mehr konnte ich leider noch nicht testen. Gerichte etwas modern interpretiert mit unterschiedlichen fleischsorten. Personal sehr freundlich und Preise angemessen. Scharfes Essen und cocktails genießen.

La serveuse a été géniale, les cocktails à tomber et la nourriture aussi. Nous avons passés un agréable moment. N'hésitez pas à vous y arrêter !
Une recommandation : ne passez pas à côté du smoothie avocado lime coriander, c'est tout simplement une tuerie !!!! Il est délicieux, original et... AUDACIEUX ! ❤️

one of the best Mexican restaurants in lisbon. The average price for going is about 20 euros. I will recommend the pato tacos, the esquites but most of all the CHURROS. The CHURROS are very well made with cinnamon and sugar and offered with 2 different sauce: chocolate and a type or caramel. Regarding dinks I will recommend the margaritas and also the banderitas ( tequila, lemon and tomato juice).

Stanard chain Mexican offering, servings aren't that big considering the price.
Service leaves a little to be desired, perhaps it was just too early in the evening and they were still getting set up.
I'd eat there again, but wouldn't be my first preference in the area.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this has been the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The vegetarian tacos were amazing. My family never had burritos and they were delighted by their dishes! And the churros at the end was just the best! We also had the non-alcoholic mango cocktail, which was a great surprise. We never will forget our dinner here

Never order delivery from them.
I ordered with uber eats, and when delivery arrived, I noticed they forgot half of my order. I called the restaurant, and they acknowledged the mistake but they told me there was nothing they could do and that I should contact uber eats...

The food here is rather average and the tacos weren’t that good. They definitely are not with the €4-€7 price tag EACH. Best thing I ate was the corn, sea bass taco (only good taco out of the 6 that we had) and the guacamole and chips. Go here for a simple snack and drink instead.

Ok/nice place. Not possible to book in advance which seems to be a part of the concept. Waited In the street for 1hour50mins so make sure not go hungry to this restaurant! Haha.

Wir haben auf mexikanisches Fast Food fast eine Stunde gewartet - dabei wegen der Klimatisierung gefroren und konnten am Ende die laute Musik auch nicht mehr hören. Die Burrito-Bowl entpuppte sich als ein Yufka für 12 Euro überteuert. Die Salat Bowl war auch zu teuer und die Tacos trieften beim Essen die Hände voll, was nicht so schlimm war, da diese eher winzig waren. Für 4 Personen waren wir mit 62,- Euro bedient, wobei wir uns bei Getränken an Wasser, ein Bier und eine pappsüsse Wasservariante gehalten haben. Schade!

Amazing staff and food. The space is quite small but we we're lucky and able to get a seat right away (it was a late lunch on a Friday).
We had the chicken and the shrimp tacos.
We also had a margarita (perfectly balanced! The best I've had) and the avocado smoothie (so tasty). I'd definitely recommend getting the guac and chips while you wait. So fresh and really really good.
I'll definitely come back.

Great selection of traditional and modern tacos. Went a little late (around 10pm) for food so there was a bit of a wait, but you could buy drinks through a side window from the street. The tacos are super cheap, but the drinks are more on the expensive side. Once the 4 tables in front had left and we'd been seated and ordered the food was so quick to come out. Would recommend.

This was the best meal I had in Lisbon, we had plan to go to another restaurant just right down the road but have to wait 2 hours so we venture down to this restaurant. Totally worth it...

Our table had 4 different tacos and 2 burritos. It was all good but the steak tacos were legit. Staff was nice. Would recommend.

Bom atendimento, guacamole espetacular, tacos muito gostosos, drinks bem feitos e espaço muito bonito. Tem longas filas de espera à noite mas vale a pena.

Percebe-se o motivo de tanto alvoroço em torno deste restaurante, menu bastante saboroso. Espaço bem decorado e serviço simpático e atencioso.
O único ponto negativo é não aceitar reservas. Acabando muitas pessoas desistirem de esperar pelas poucas mesas disponíveis.

Highly recommended. High quality tequilas (100% agave), good choice of tequila cocktails (I recommend the Paloma), the best guacamole I’ve ever had, and three very delicious tacos - the sea bass is a must try if you like fish tacos!

Unbelievable food !! Had the best experience. We ordered The corn on the cob, quesadilla, guacamole, mushroom taco, churros, michelada besides a few other things and they were all just amazing!! If you are craving Mexican or just a great meal while in Lisbon, make sure to go here!!

Went this afternoon for late lunch. Not crowded. Rap music was way too loud and did nothing for the experience. Food was good...we had a burrito and burrito bowl. Salsa selection was nice as well. Service was woefully inattentive and that’s my biggest complaint. The servers simply looked like they didn’t want to be there.

I just ate at this Mexican place and the food was very good. I ordered the carne asada and chicken tacos. The tortillas are hand made and the Ingredients are very fresh. I used to live in San Diego California and I’ve tasted some really good tacos el gordo. Not a fair comparison but overall this is a very good place minus the tacos el gordo price tag. Enjoy!

This place was an awesome find. Traveling in Europe and being used to living Texas, we craved tacos and good Mexican food. The tequila options are the best I’ve seen so far (Espolon! Whaaat?!) and they make a good margarita for six euro. Negro Modelo, Pacifico, Micheladas, Palomas, and Banderitas are all on offer. Their sauces/salsas are excellent. I had the Ahlambre taco and it was delicious. The Cochinita Pibil rivals some of the best I’ve had back home. The pastor is ok, I’ve had better. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it if you’re craving Mexican food.

Tacos genuínos mas criativos conjuntamente com os clássicos como os tacos al pastor. Nos mais criativos o de tempura, crocante com um peixe fresco. O de camarão muito bom tal como o de cogumelos. Uma excelente opção nas taquerias de Lisboa.
