Great, honest food with excellent service. Not sure what the low ratings are about. Perhaps new owner? We came here 3 times in a span of 6 days for dinner in June 2019. Pizza is delicious and so is the pasta.

One of those places that you can come back to again and again because you know you're going to get great food and excellent service. The woman in charge keeps an eye on everyone and makes sure they're being properly attended to. All this makes for a pleasant dining experience!

Obwohl das Restaurant um 15:00 leer war durften wir kein Eiscreme mit unserer kleinen Tochter im Restaurant essen. Eiscreme gibts nur zum Mitnehmen hat uns der Kellner unfreundlich erklärt und sich weiter mit seinem Mobiltelefon beschäftigt. Kein wunder dass das Restaurant leer war wären alle anderen in der Umgebung gut besucht waren.

Achei o restaurante em termos de serviço mau, os cocktails eram razoaveis assim como a comida mas caro para o que era, os gelados uma delícia sem dúvida nenhuma... Achei demasiado caro para a experiência que foi... Irei lá voltar certamente por causa dos gelados

We were four people all ordering drinks and two wanted mains. Nope, we were kicked out. Everyone has to eat. With the bruscheta starting at 10€ I'm happy we didn't stay.

My wife and I had a great experience at Porto di Mare. We had pasta bolognesa and pasta arrabiata, both of which were very nice. We also had a bottle of wine from montepulciano that was reasonably priced. Several of the staff spoke italian and as is typical they allowed us to enjoy our wine without interruption. We stayed over an hour enjoying the wine, weather and, ambience. We ended with a scoop of gelato to go.

Beznadziejne potrawy, bardzo drogie, pizza nie widziała Włoch wogóle, szynka najtańsza, małe porcje, nie da się napić drinka bo wypraszają z lokalu (tylko na wynos), ogólnie zero klimatu... porażka...

We had dinner there last pm - mistakenly thinking that we couldn’t go wrong with Italian food. The place has an extensive menu of past and pizza. We ordered a pasta with ham and mushrooms in a cream sauce and the tortellini with spinach and ricotta. We also ordered bread and arugula salad. The dishes were served completely undressed with sauce - no cream sauce for the one pasta dish, and a bowl full of spinach tortellini stuffed with pasta. The bread and salad were never served. The only item that came out right was the Pinot Grigio wine. The meal was a complete rip off. My college aged sons make a better pasta meal with store bought items. It took them 10 minutes after the pasta was served to bring out the bread and Parmesan Cheese. The salad never arrived. My advice is stop for gelato to go. Forget about eating there until they care more about serving satisfactory meals. We could have had a meal at our hotel (Grande Real Villa Italia) for a similar price with a majestic ocean view, and excellent service. Our bad. Lesson learned.

Heute haben wir versucht hier Pizza zu essen. Es wurde ein Tisch frei, allerdings wurden wir dort nicht bedient. Trotz Nachfrage bei verschieden Mitarbeitern wurde wir einfach nicht bedient. Einmal kurz war die Cheffin bei uns am Tisch und meinte der Tisch müsse erst gesäubert werden. Die letzte Mitarbeiterin sagte eine Pizza würde mindestens 50 Min. Wartezeit bedeuten. Wir haben gesagt das es egal wäre. Sie drehte sich wieder rum und nahm keine Bestellung auf. Nach 20 Min. sind wir dann gegangen und haben hervorragend und auch noch preiswerter in der Pizzaria Pizzagnetti gegessen. Eine Frechheit solch eine Bedienung bzw keine Bedienung.

Ambiente simpatico contudo havia criancinhas barulhentas e agitadas que me faz sentir dar meia volta e sair. Nao compreendo os paizinhos que normalmente levam as criancas, poem-se a falsr com os outros familiares e amigos enwuanto as criancinhas andam a chatear os outros. E scho mal tambem os responsaveis dos restaurantes nada fazerem para assegurar aos restantes comensais uma refeicao tranquila. Nada serviram a nao ser a meu pedido como pao, manteiga e essas coisas. Comi um rissoto com cogumelos muito bom. Um pao de alho wue sinceramente nao gostei. A sangria nao tem gas algum. Ha wuem goste. Eu nao. No fim o dono do restaurante fez-nos uma atencao simpatica ja que lhe disse exactamente o que aqui refiro. De resto, gostei do servico. Parque automovel ou no Lg da Estacao de Cascais ou no Parking do Hotel Baía.

September 13 2018 for lunch; poor service, the person in charge was rude (gross) and impolite when I asked to share my plate with my wife...This is a simple italian restaurant catering to tourists with a “Snobby” attitude. In our opinion, food was average and service under par. Not an agreeable dining experience, We do not recommend

We came to this restaurant without checking any reviews and let me tell you we should have done it Before !
The food was nothing special at all ...
The service was slow and poor, when we asked how long is gonna take, the answer was « I’m not working in the kitchen » wich is complety unprofessional.
After have orders drinks and food, we have been refusing one glass of tap water !!!
The waiters skept running next to our table, all night long !
And we tried to explain the situation to the owner, she didn’t even look to my eyes and say you can leave a review on my name if you want.
Go away from this place ! The food is nothing, the service pretty bad and the owner Elsa don’t even care and just want your money ! I was chocked.

So I would give this a 3.5 If the food was better and the main woman wasn't as rude other than that it was average food as well as one really nice young waitress . Needs more staff or more efficient service

Servicio nefasto, trato muy desagradable, lento y muy maleducado.
Lo peor encontrarnos una cucaracha paseándose por el comedor, y encontrarnos un pelo en la comida. No recomiendo para nada ir a este local.

Excelente restaurante italiano en Cascais, una atención muy buena y la comida está muy rica, el precio medio es de unos 20/25€, tiene una parte de helados artesanales que puedes comer después de la cena o comida.

Eu adorei! A comida, o atendimento. O engraçado foi o preocupado Chef vir a minha mesa perguntar se eu não havia gostado da comida pois deixei um restinho no prato. Eu pedi mil perdões é que era muita comida para meu estômago, que estava excelente. Aí ele sorriu!

Um local aconchegante !!! Com opção ao ar livre. Degustei duas tábuas maravilhosas com uma taça de sangria tinta fui bem recebida e voltarei mais.

Love this Italian restaurant/homemade ice cream parlour. In the heart of Cascais villa near the Hotel Baia. Very friendly staff run by Elsa, hubby and fabulous staff! Amazing food and drink and not to mention the home made gelato. Wonderful. It's to cry for and ask for more :)

Stopped here for lunch and had the Fungi pizza and a plate of Tortellini Bolognese. The food was nice, the service was also alright. Also, loved their ice cream.

Finally decided to eat here after wandering around Cascais for a while. My boyfriend and I only wanted a small snack and a beer, so decided to stop here. A waiter came to ask what drinks we would have, so we ordered our beers and decided to ask for some chips when he returned. When he brought our beers out my boyfriend asked if they did fries on their own, to which the waiter said ‘yes but you can’t have just fries’. I was completely shocked by how rude the response was - we were still paying customers. He continued to say this was not enough food, so I told him we would not eat at all. As I said this he angrily took our plates away and stormed off. Awful service, and also completely bizarre as they ended up not selling us any food at all. To add to this, the outdoor seating area was barely half full, so it’s not like we were taking up precious space from other customers. Do not recommend (and having looked down other reviews, this looks like a common theme).

!!!! TOURIST BEWARE !!!!
Horrible customer service, and the food was extremely subpar.
My boyfriend and I had ordered 2 plates and wanted to share a pizza and they refused to "share a plate" we had to order two pizzas.
Upon saying we didn't want to order a second pizza the manager took our menu and said "we don't share plates"!!!
Strongly would not recommend!!

Superbe restaurant italien la Diavola est à tomber! Le personnel n'est pas tres souriant et labpatronne ne semble pas commode mais ont mange très bien! Je recommande et ah j'oubliais les mojitos y sont excellent!

Nous avons découvert ce restaurant fin juin lors d'un week-end entre amis. L'accueil a été très chaleureux et nous avons réussi à faire une table de 8 couverts. La terrasse est très belle et très agréable pour déjeuner. Tout le monde a apprécié le repas servi et le dessert/glace excellent. Un très bon lieu pour déjeuner et se détendre.

Une catastrophe absolue,
nous avons choisi ce restaurant au départ car ils ne démarchent pas dans la rue .
Les plats étaient carrément immangeables, même la simple pizza était pire qu’une surgelée de grande surface !
De plus la patronne est plus qu’antipathique,il faut voir comme elle parle à ses employés, sincèrement j’ai été choqué par son comportement.
À éviter !

Atención pésima, falta total de empatía hacia los clientes. Se hace pasar por un restaurante familiar, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, ya que al ir con una silla de bebé nos dice el dueño que nos busquemos nosotros la vida para encontrarle sitio (previamente habíamos movido las mesas para alejarnos de otra mesa, dejando espacio más que suficiente, pero al dueño no le valía). Mal educado, sin mirarnos a la cara, grosero y desprovisto de empatía alguna.
Todo esto sucedió estando ya asentados, es decir, vieron perfectamente que íbamos con carrito.
De la comida no puedo hablar ya que no comimos, seguramente será deliciosa. Pero la atención de 0.

Worst Italian restaurant ever. I would not call it Italian either since we ordered lasagna and they served us two pre-cooked meals! Besides, our lasagnas were burnt and stuck...unbelievable. Just the typical low quality-high priced restaurant for fast-paced tourists...not even nice at all.

très bon service, propriétaire dispo et de très bon conseil, sans pousser à la consommation. les plats sont bons et plutôt bien fournis ( risottos vongole et scampi ) très bon vins. Prix normaux voire supérieures mais très bien situé et ne correspond en rien aux restaurants 300 m plus loin ou la carte fat 3 km de long et des gens vous harcèlent dès qu'ils vous voit ( les "rabatteurs" )

Absolutely awkful service, I wouldn't know about the quality of the food because I'm still waiting for it. The atmosphere is terrible with everyone feeling exactly the same way, hungry.

Food and service were terrible. Pasta took an hour to arrive and was heavily overcooked and virtually all oil, no ingredients. Prices were also well above benchmark.

Desastroso. El jefe/dueño fue un prepotente y un verdadero maleducado. Servicio de cenas. Ibamos con una niña pequeña que apenas cena y nos obligaba a pedir minimo un plato cada 1, y de la niña podia aceptar que se tomara un menu infantil. Le dijimos que al ser tan pequeña, no se comia un menu por muy infantil que fuera, y menos una pizza de 30 cm. Nos indica de muy malos modos que a esa hora tenemos que consumir todos, que si fuera a la tarde le daba igual. Todo esto muy muy borde. Seguro que la comida sera buenisima, aunque entiendo que en pleno servicio de cena, sobraran mesas. No volveremos y no recomiendo si los niños son pequeños.

A comida pode até ser boa, mas o dono (acredito eu) é de extema falta de educação. Praticamente eu e família fomos expulsos do restaurante. Uma péssima representação da Itália, que nos recebeu extremamente bem.

I can't comment on the food because the service started out so bad we decided to eat elsewhere. Man working there was rushed for us to order before even sitting down. When we decided to leave, he demanded a euro because one of us had used the bathroom before sitting. Worst service experience in years. Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about it. Other nice restaurants nearby that are much more welcoming.

Réellement déçu par cet établissement et sa pizza Frutti di Mare avec 2 moules décortiquées qui se battent en duel, quelques morceaux de calamar et surtout (et là c'est du jamais vu !) du surimi coupé en tronçons. Indigne d'un restaurant Italien avec en prime la patronne qui tire la tronche parce qu'on ne prend pas de dessert !!!!. 33 Euros l'addition quand même 2 pizzas 2 bières et une soucoupe d'olives.
