It’s not good, it’s not fresh, it’s not professional food. Service was good but carpaccio was prepared days ago. Salad was not fresh at all. Frozen pizzas in the supermarket much better than their pizza. And worst part is, it’s not expensive.
I paid 46 € I left the food and wine on the table to find another restaurant but I couldn’t eat anything after this inconvenience dinner.
Decoration is good, ambience is good, service is good but food...

After ordering a lot of food and 2 bottles of quite expensive wine at 22:00.. the food came at
23:00 - 23:15 ..and they wanted us to LIVE at 23:45...we could deal to stay until 24:00..really money making unfriendly restaurant with...ok food be careful what time you make your orders..

Haben hier lecker zu Abend gegessen . Getreu dem eigenen kompliment" the füllst, stritten sich zunächst die KellnerInben Daumen, wer welchen Tisch zuerst mit seinen Gästen besetzen durfte, und so warteten wir geduldig draussen aber es hat sich gelohnt. Wir saßen gemütlich draussen in diesem Seitenarm der Fusshängerzone und haben lecker gegessen bei aufmerksamen Kellnern.

The pizza was excellent but I was sitting at the outdoors tables and doesn't feel very secure there were a couples of marroquins trying to steal my wallet. I think they should have security for the outdoors costumers .

Sitio espectacular para comer dentro, decoración exquisita, algo que nos gustó mucho fue q tardaron un poco y al poner los platos los pusieron todos la vez, en vez de poner primero la ensalada y luego los dos platos q pedimos para compartir....

Not the best Italian place in town.
The starters were nice , but mains not that great
The sangria was literally just sprite with strawberries. No alcohol whatsoever and it cost 24€.

L'emplacement est bien, le service est bien, mais déçu par le plat que j'ai choisi, Risotto citron. le risotto était trop citronnée, j'ai mangé même pas le tiers de l'assiette et je suis pas du genre a adhéré au gaspillage... Prix du plat : 15 euros... Déçu

Had a good time here on 2 occasions. Went to many local Porteugese restaurants while visiting here. Some had decent food while others did not, but service at all places was abysmal with the only exception being Ramiro. The service here was top notch, staff was friendly and attentive. Pizza and pasta is their specialty (Italian), but I really enjoyed the drinks too. For being an Italian restaurant, they made the best Caipirinhas (my fave) from all of the ones I tried in Lisbon. You could tell the manager/owner really cared about his establishent. Great service and great food, a rare combo in Lisbon.

The blonde man on the reception is a racist. He refused to give us a table at 8PM, while we went in to dine. He refused to give us a table despite seeing our two hungry kids aged 8 and 7. Another waitress agreed to give us a table and said that several tables were available.He just did not want to give us( Indian family of 4) a table.Then we asked him to take our reservation request - he flatly refused.
A restaurant in the middle of the tourist district has a "reservation only" policy?

Excellent deserts(ie tiramisu) , capuchino and sangria. A bit slow service, haven’t bother us too much (no kids no rush). Not cheap : 16$ per 1l sangria).

Já conhecia da última viagem, voltamos e encontramos uma turma nova nos dando pressão para escolher o prato porque a cozinha demorava à preparar... Estranhamos, ficamos só no carpaccio e na sangria, nem nos atrevemos à comer a massa que comemos repetidas vezes... Dessa vez não gostei de forma geral...

봉골레랑 까르보나라 시켜 먹었는데 까르보나라는 소금을 실수로 쏟앗나 싶을정도로 너무너무 짰어요. 봉골레도 그냥저냥.. 반이상 남기고 나왔네요...
직원들도 저희가 매장 들어갈 때도 핸드폰만 보고 있고, 계산한 다음에도 거스름돈을 안 가져다 줘서 다른 직원에게 얘기해서 받았어요. 알고 보니 저희 계산해준 직원이 거스름돈을 챙겨놓고 그냥 카운터 위에 올려놨더라구요 ㅎㅎ 저희 카운터 바로 옆자리였는데 ^^; 계산할 때 거스름돈은 카운터에서 가져가라거나 등 안내도 일절 없었고용..
암튼 그리고 밑에 분이 남기신 맛있다는 크림파스타는 저녁에만 된다구 합니당

음식은 평균 분위기는 좋습니다. 다만 관광객 대상의 식당이라 음식맛에 비해 가격이 비싸네요!
물탄 생맥주 500 한잔에 6유로는 포루투갈 물가대비 좀 비쌉니다! 맥주 좋아하시는 분은 다른 저렴한 식당으로 가시는 것 추천드립니다!

Service is shockingly slow. This is not family friendly. Sitting outside in the cold with kids and have to ask for the menu now having to go into the restaurant to order. Makes this very disappointing as I know the food is good, but again the service is atrocious.

Kleines Restaurant, leicht abseits der Hauptstraße.
Wir waren zweimal hier, da unser Sohn die Bolognese liebte.
Beim ersten Besuch war der Service sehr schlecht, es musste nachgefragt werden, was man Essen wollte, der Wein wurde vergessen, es gab lediglich kleines Besteck für die Vorspeise... usw. Das Essen selbst war in Ordnung, daher sind wir auch nochmal hin.
Ohne Reservierung, eigentlich fahrlässig, dennoch haben wir zu dritt nach 10 Minuten einen Platz erhalten :)
Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service diesmal auch. Daher nun die verdienten 4 Sterne.

Local aconchegante porem com mesas muito próximas.
Pizza basica muito boa... boa.massa .. bom molho.. bom queijo.. manjericão fresco bordas com excelente sabor.
O ravióli aberto é estupendo, a carbonara é a melhor que provei em Portugal...pura gema, muito pecorino e bochecha de porco curada que agora nao lembro o nome. Sobremesas boas a preço justo.

There is NO WAY this is a Gordon Ramsay establishment! Not only did we wait for 90 minutes for our meal, the food was awful! Not just bad, horrible. Such a huge disappointment as I have been to several GR restaurants and have loved each bite. This was like a “before” from “24hrs to Hell and Back”. Mr Ramsay, please remove your name from any association or come fix it!

Vesi ja viini olivat hyvää. Samoin pihvi. Pasta oikean kypsää. Muutoin ruoka jossain määrin pettymys. Mautonta ja outoja yhdistelmiä. Carpacciossa herkkusieniä, meeipastassa raakaa punjuurta?. Ystävällinen mutta hidas palvelu. Viemäri hajua pyöytään. Laatuun nähden selvästi ylihintainen.

Die zwei Sterne sind für das Ambiente und der netten Bedirnung.
Das Essen war eher mittelmäßig und hierfür zu teuer.
Die Tomaten auf der Bruschetta waren matschig gehackt, keine Zeiebeln, kein Knoblauch aber oben drauf irgendein Streugewürz, angerichtet war es hübsch, mit viel Rucola. Die Pasta Carbonara, war lauwarm, mit irgendeiner braunen Bratensoße angemacht, Sie schmeckte nur scharf, also nur nach Pfeffer und leicht schmierig.

We came here for lunch with a young toddler so you would think they would know our time is limited. But it took over 2 hours for meal. No joke, the food took over one hour to arrive to our table and when we asked about 45 mins in, we were rudely told “the kitchen is very busy! “ nothing else. Food finally arrived and it was nothing special. And definitely not worth the 2 hour wait that’s for sure. Would never recommend to anyone!!!

Ordered spaghetti carbonara, which somehow got served quicker than you can boil spaghetti. It was subpar, too much pepper and almost no flavor.
The location is in a tourist area, and those areas are terrible if you're a man going alone (constantly asked if you want to buy drugs, even when sitting at a restaurant).
Service was ok, but kind of annoying paying three euros for a bottle of water because I said yes to water when prompted.
I went during the day when it was mostly empty so I can't comment in the atmosphere.

Very annoying that the largest bottle of water available was only 500ml and they wouldn’t serve us tap water. Baby’s high chair was positively dangerous. Minestrone soup was very poor.

Sin duda un lugar muy recomendable en pleno casco histórico de Lisboa, muy cerca de la plaza del Comercio. Tiene una decoración muy bonita, un servicio atento y una excelente carta. Nuestros platos fueron unos Espaguetis y una pizza, ambas cosas de una exquisitez inigualable. El precio nos pareció bueno para el lugar donde se ubica. Por 40€ cenamos estupendamente.

Amazing linguini alla forma, you have to try it! One portion is enough for two persons. The sangria and tiramusi are also good. Loved the place, really quiet, although it had lot of people. Great ambiance.

Destaca a diferencia del resto de restaurantes de alrededor que son los típicos turísticos con camareros impertinentes que te asedian para que te sientes llegando a molestar.

The host came off as rude at first, but softened up throughout the night and made us laugh as he was obsessing with hanging up Halloween decorations, at 7 pm...on Halloween. It took quite a long time before a waiter even approached us to take drink orders, but we could tell he was very busy. He was very attentive and sweet once he got to our table. Food was amazing and one of the better meals we have had in Portugal. I had the linguini made in the cheese bowl and my husband the risotto. It was also my husbands birthday and they brought over a complimentary shot for him before we left. Everybody was very sweet and friendly.

Schönes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung, aber leider war das Essen nur lauwarm und bekommt deshalb die schlechte Bewertung. Ich hatte Lasagne mit Salat. Der Salat völlig ohne Dressing, Essig und Öl. Hier passt der Preis nicht zur Leistung.

Appalling service and even worst food. Took nearly 2 hours to actually get some food and then one dish was totally cold and one other was extremely salty. Only the pizza was edible. Literally took 30mins from ordering to get a bottle of wine as well. Frankly watching the staff was like watching a carry on film. It’s been taken over by the fuller group so hence the change. Seriously avoid

Vraiment pas terrible assiette froide mal présenté beaucoup d attente. On était 2 mais servi à 10 min d intervalle. C est un piège à touriste. Toilette sale et odeur très désagréable. La plupart des tables se situe vers l entrée porte qui s ouvre sans arrêt et laisse rentré le froid. Presque 50 euros pour 2 assiettesde pâtes et 2 verres de vin. N y aller pas !

첫날 야외에서 4덩어리로 나온 크림치즈파스타를 먹고 너무 맛있었어요 꾸덕한 치즈코팅에 트러플 오일로 향까지!!!! 2인분 시켰는데 4덩어리로 한접시에 담아줬어요.
두번째 갔을때 첫날먹은 파스타1인분과 봉골레1인분을 시켰는데 둘째날 파스타1인분이랑 첫째날 2인분이랑 양이 비슷해요... 아니 똑같아보여요..
이게 의문이었어요
맛은 너무 좋습니다!!!! 인생파스타~~~

Went in as the restaurant was busy compared to the other restaurants on the street. The maître d was quite ignorant as we entered.That said the decor was nice. We ordered lasagne and ravioli. Both tasted fine, nothing special but good. However parts of the lasagne were badly burnt. The Ravioli was extremely small. Tasted nice but I had not her starters. The waiters were friendly. However the out chips (fries) came after asking several times after our meal and were uncooked and greasy (ie. cooked in semi warm oil). Anyways had better, had worse Italians favour wise. Portion wise for a main it was small, so get a starter too.

Friture de poisson belle à voir mais produits congelés ! Calamars, gambas et scampis oranges et très secs ! Heureusement qu'il y a les légumes en fritures pour manger quelque chose... Je comprends mieux le prix de 16 euros pour une friture qui normalement est entre 20 et 25 euros avec des produits frais ! A ne pas recommander du tout !

Der Service war leider sehr langsam und unaufmerksam. Auch hat man das Gefühl gehabt die Bedienung steht extrem unter Stress und ihr wäre es lieber keine Gäste zu haben. Es hat eine Ewigkeit gedauert bis man mal die Getränke bekommen hat. Als wir fertig waren mit dem Essen hat es ewig gedauert bis wir mal die Rechnung bekommen haben und bis sie dann mal das Geld geholt haben. Nur das Trinkgeld haben sie dann nach Sekunden geholt. Zum Essen. Die Bruscetta waren geschmacklich super. Das Pilzrisotto war Katastrophe. Gewürz besonders Salz hat komplett gefehlt und die Pilze waren komische grosse flutschige Stücke. Auch bei den Papadelle a Ragu hat das Salz gefehlt. Der Wein war zu warm temperiert. Ich würde hier nicht mehr essen.

The food was horrible! Imagine eating a pack of overcooked instant noodles sem seasoning. My linguini was exactly that. A waste of food. It lacked texture and flavour. Not even the chilli oil was spicy!

Amazing Italian food. Who knew that one of my best meals in Portugal would be Italian? It was quite full and the meal size was good. We finished our plates. I recommend the linguini made in the cheese wheel. Delicious!

Worst service I have ever experienced in my life. The waiter was clueless. It took them more than 10 minutes to clear a table and the restaurant was only half full. By then the beers we ordered weren't cold any longer. They didn't bother to replace them.
They have a problem with the sewage, it is unbearable entering the bathroom.

Wir haben hier einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Das Essen war gut und die Cocktails haben sehr lecker geschmeckt. Zudem gilt in diesem Zusammenhang ein besonderes Lob dem jungen, sehr engagierten Kellner, welcher sich wirklich sehr ins Zeug gelegt hat und den ganzen Abend für unsere vollste Zufriedenheit sorgte. Zudem sitzt man draußen sehr angenehm in der Fußgängerzone und die Stühle sind sehr bequem. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, vielen Dank und weiter so!

Un restaurant avec une décoration sympathique, mais un personnel peu accueillant avec une attente éternisante avec peu de client (45 minutes pour les Linguine alla forma), forte heureusement le plat est très bon, même si un peu chargé en crème.
Peu être cher pour un plat de pâte selon moi..

Nice Italian cuisine, the linguine al vongolle were very good. The carpaccio de salmons really nicely made and excellent. Servers are friendly and nice. Bathrooms are very clean!!

My wife and I went here two times, initially because we were just hungry and this restaurant was not pushy like others in the area.
It is a bit pricey for what you get though.
We both tried the al forno and loved it. The second trip my wife got it again, and I tried the Bolognese. It was pretty good.
They also had an amazing goat cheese and strawberry bruchetta.
We would for sure go back.

Het begon al bij het bestellen van de drankjes, een van de cocktails van de kaart hadden ze niet meer. Pizza was heel nat van het vet (bestelde een Margherita) en de pasta carbonara had een rare na smaak. Vervolgens toch nog voor een toetje gekozen. De tiramisu en de chocolademouse. De mouse was geen mouse meer en stond al even buiten de koelkast. De tiramisu was wederom "uitverkocht". Kortom, de lovende recensies waren wat ons betreft niet terecht.

Très bon restaurant italien dans le centre de Lisbonne. Malgré le nombre de restaurants dans la ville il y a finalement peu d'italien et ne pas se sentir dans un attrape touriste est agréable.
La decoration est soignée, les menus sont disponibles en plusieurs langues (dont le français), et les plats copieux.
Les prix sont certes un peu + eleves que dans les autres restaurants mais la qualité ne nous a pas fait regretter.

Hemos ido en dos ocasiones a cenar, la primera vez perfecta. Buena comida, buen trato e incluso concierto en vivo. El día siguiente repetimos, era fin de semana y había más gente. El trato ya fue distinto, nos invitaron a cenar fuera en la terraza al haber muchas reservas en el interior, pero había personas a las que le ofrecían mesa dentro sin reserva a los 5 minutos de sentarnos. Acto seguido tardan en atendernos y otro tanto en servirnos, por lo que vimos otros comensales cercanos estaban en la misma situación cenando a destiempo y viendo unos como cenaban los otros. Después, y para finalizar ya aparece un plástico en mi pizza de pollo con el cual casi me rompo un diente. Claramente y sintiéndolo mucho, no lo recomiendo ni volveré a repetir

Posto carino con bella mobilia.
Abbiamo ordinato come prima portata bruschette e pasta, come seconda portata tagliata e scaloppine.
Arrivate bruschette. Dopo circa 45 minuti arrivati secondi, di cui tagliata non era una tagliata ma una bistecca alta, scaloppine immangiabili avevano un sapore strano, infatti solo assaggiate.
Peccato che con le bruschette doveva arrivare anche la pasta, che purtroppo non è arrivata, chissà cosa ha capito il cameriere. Unica nota positiva: il vino portoghese.
E un altro accorgimento: hanno lasciato la porta aperta ed entrava un bel fresco e tutti i clienti indossavano le giacche.
Ci sono tante cose da migliorare, la prima cosa in assoluto la cucina.

La decoración del lugar es bonita y la ubicación es buena. Parece un restaurante de calidad pero nos tocó muy mala atención, se demoraron mucho en servirnos, no pusieron pan o algún aperitivo para la espera. Los platos no fueron nada espectacular, le faltaba sabor y personalidad. En el queso parmesano, el cual no estaba bueno, encontramos un plástico. Nos cobraron doble en las bebidas. Y el baño estaba muy sucio y con mal olor.

Le daria 3.5 estrellas como máximo, pero no es posible. Es un restaurante muy popular y por tal razón, siempre está lleno. Yo pense que era de calidad 5 estrellas, pero no! Pedi linguini frutti di mare y apenas tenia camarones y un pequeño pulpo, los linguinis eran de calamar (negros) pero no tenían sabor, muy poca salsa de pomodoro. Otros de mis acompañantes también se quejaron de su plato. El lugar tiene buena decoración, su ubicación es muy buena, su personal es atento. tal vez por eso es tan popular.

Vraiment pas terrible, vu les notes sur Google on s’attendant à mieux. Réservation sur la fourchette avec -30% qui n’ont pas été appliqués. « Risotto au bœuf et citron » qui était tout sauf du risotto, du simple riz au citron avec une viande de bœuf ultra cuite sans goût. Pâtes dans la meule de parmesan manquaient bcp de saveurs aussi. Vins passables.

Great cocktails! Staff was very sweet in spite of me not speaking Portuguese (spoke in Spanish) and the food was really nice. Reasonable prices aswell. Definitely come here if you’re in the area instead of the tourist traps around the corner.

Auf den ersten Blick ins Restaurant denkt man wirklich wow das kann nur gut werden, auch beim eintreten noch alles wirklich richtig gut. Ein riesengroßer Parmigiano fällt sofort ins Auge. Das macht Lust auf Pasta im Parmesanlaib angerichtet. Als dann genau dieses Gericht serviert wurde, kam die herbe Enttäuschung, nicht nur das nicht am Tisch angerichtet wurde obwohl der Laib auf einem Wagen stand. Nein dem Essen fehlte es an Würze, wobei wenigstens die Optik überzeugte. Leider war nach wenigen Gabeln der Rest des Essens schon kalt und daher noch fader. Preisleistung nicht gegeben. Mehr Liebe zum Produkt hätten hier volle Bewertung gegeben.

Das war Heute wohl nie.Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit ist dem Personal aufgefallen das mit unserer Bestellung was nicht stimmt.
Dann kam die Ausrede das in der Küche ein Problem gibt.Das Personal entschuldigte sich zwar,aber es gab nicht einmal eine kleine Geste des Hauses.
Ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.
Beim Italiener gibt es zur Vorspeise und zum Hauptgericht Weißbrot.

Si trova nella centralissima Lisbona, dove il pedone la fa da padrone (zona pedonale), di Italiano ha poco anzi pochissimo, la pasta però è buona e anche la pizza. Il personale è gentile e sopratutto interessato se mangi bene oppure no. Questo li qualifica. I prezzi considerato la zona sono nella norma. Poi fuori c’è il menu coi prezzi. Qualità prezzo buono. La stella che manca è perché il cuoco ed il personale non è italiano. La cortesia però ti fa dimenticare qualche piccola trascuratezza. Consigliato.

N’y allez surtout pas. Les serveurs sont désagréables et lents. Les prix ne valent absolument pas la qualité des produits : 6,50€ un cocktail sans alcool qui contient plus de mousse que de cocktail même, ou bien 6€ le verre de porto, le plus cher de Lisbonne.

Italienische Restaurants scheint es wenig, wenn fast gar nicht zu geben. Da "la Vita e Bella" war daher eine willkommene Abwechslung zu den Landes typischen. Das Essen ist soweit ganz gut, leider hapert es beim Service. Es gibt genügend Personal,. aber alle laufen etwas ferngesteuert an einem vorbei. Auf Druck bekamen wir nach elend langer Zeit etwas zu trinken und haben dann geduldig, auf unser dennoch leckeres Essen gewartet. Die Einrichtung des Lokal, kann man gemessen an vielen anderen in Lissabon schon mit gemütlich bezeichnen.

Wir waren drei mal hier essen innerhalb von acht Tagen, weil es einfach unglaublich lecker schmeckt - Pizza, Pasta, Nachtisch, einfach alles!!!! Im Vergleich zu den anderen lokalen rundherum ist es "schick", d.h. es hat z.B. einfach keine hässlich karierten Tischdecken. Die Kellner sind aufmerksam und sehr freundlich und die Preise sind ebenfalls gut für diese Hammer Qualität!!

We had three plates of pasta last night . The first two for my daughter and my wife were ok but mine was the wrong pasta . I asked the waiter is this my order he said yes . I said I didn’t order a black linguini. He looked at me like I didn’t know what it’s was . I said this wasn’t on the kind of linguini i ordered. His response was just try it you like it. Then the manager came and said the same thing . But I knew what happened . The chef used the wrong pasta . Instead of been apologetic . They made it it’s like my fault . I didn’t want to make a scene As they were unprofessional. They think everyone that walks there is a stupid tourist. The food was very mediocre.
I hope the owners get a good manager as the one that runs the show has no idea what customer service is

Come spesso accade, attirati da un ristorante Italiano che di italiano non ha assolutamente nulla!!! Lisbona pullula di bei locali dove mangiare cibo portoghese. Il cibo italiano mangiatelo in Italia!! Sconsigliato. Perla finale: mentre ero seduto all’aperto ignoti mi hanno rubato il marsupio con il portafogli. Certo la colpa non è del ristorante, ma nessuno del personale si è immedesimato nel disagio provato da me e dai miei bambini, magari offrendoci almeno un caffè o uno sconto.....Delusione totale.

Quite disappointing really. we had four dishes that did not really stand out positively in any way. The carbonara is bland and too eggy in my opinion, the ragu for the pappardelle alla bolognese too runny, and the Caesar salad covered in grated cheese and dressing from a bottle.

Waiters behaving in a very unprofessional way. Pretended Italian mannerism - Italian people (luckily) is cool, not like these guys who have no idea about how to have a natural, kind behavior instead of false manners, humiliating guests (!) and telling the name of the foods in a way like Lord Varys speaks in Game of Thrones (plus, with a false accent and a wrong pronunciation). I really felt ashamed, even though I'm not Italian, but I speak the language and worked with Italians for years. This place seems to be some kind of parody of Italian restaurants - but no sense of humour, just really bad taste.
We went there in a group of several nationalities - all of us speaking Portuguese fluently, including a Korean person. The staff of the restaurant kept to speak to this person in a way like he had special needs - even though he was talking to them in a clear, fluent Portuguese all along. When we entered, seeing that we are with an Asian person, the staff said they could get a place to us to sit on the floor!
Meanwhile we were there, an elderly couple entered and sat on a reserved place by mistake. They were treated by one of the waiters in a quite humiliating way - he called the gentleman "senhora" ("lady") and made them sit elsewhere without any elegance.
Lost in the fake mannerisms, the staff forgot about our orders and get back several times to ask about them, then brought a pizza we didn't ask for. Plates were taken away before we finished the dinner(!).
Carbonara and bolognese had no taste as per our friends said.
Two stars only because my food (cannelloni with ricotta and spinach) was good and fresh.
The guy in the checkout was just simply rude.
Not because of the food or the prices, but due to the behavior of the staff, this is a place I never wanna go back to. Ignorance and lack of respect towards different cultures and human beings in general.

Wenn auch an die Touri-Restaurants angrenzend, ist dies ein ganz guter Italiener. Man merkt den Unterschied. Top Interieur, Pasta war gut, Vorspeise und Desserts auch. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Tivemos uma noite muito agradável!! Ambiente acolhedor, comida muito boa e preço ok! O garçom, Hugo, foi extremamente simpático e prestativo, nos ajudando com a escolha dos pratos e bebidas. Os garçons Thais e Jhon também foram demais!

We loved this beautiful Italian Restaurant. Hugo, the waiter here did a wonderful job recommending us a a delicious wine, Mateus, a fruity rose with a beautiful color. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff are super friendly and the food is yummmmm! Special recommendation is the linguine a la forma(I think that's the spelling)! If you order that ask them to make it front of you... just to add to the experience :)

Very busy and popular, recommend booking in advance if you don't like waiting. We were told 45 minutes for a table but was only 20 minutes. Had a cocktail while we waited.
Service was excellent, atmosphere buzzing and food was really delicious. Waiter was really friendly as was the owner or Manager. On top of all this we thought it was excellent value for money.

Bruschettas were quite fine but the number of available Pizzas is quite limited for a so called Italian restaurant. The cheese on the pizza was definitely not mozzarella but some cheap alternative.

Pasta carbonara with pork cheeks actually had like 10 tiny pieces of bacon, no cheeks. It was freezing inside, had to sit in with my winter jacket on and zipped. Never coming back, although the service was pretty good.

I ate here last Sunday and would not recommend it. Had it not been so late and my friend and I were not so tired we would have gone elsewhere. I would prefer to go hungry than eat there again. The service was dire and the food was mediocre. It was very disappointing given how wonderful all our other dining experiences had been in Lisboa.
The first issue was we were told to sit outside because they were fully booked inside. However, no one arrived after us and there were empty tables. The young waiter outside appeared to be very inexperienced and lacking in social graces. His manner was rude, abnoxious and abit odd. There were a few things that he did which were rude but we were midly amused by him initially. However, when he criticised my friend over how she ate, he went too far. My friend was not using a knife to eat her pasta and he criticised her in such an inappropriate way. She was made feel very uncomfirtable. The food itself was not very good and the napkin I was given had footprints on it.
The best part was when we asked for the bill. The waiter brought a card and ordered us to leave 'a good review' on tripadvisor. The bill was taken and because we were not leaving a tip he shouted something in our direction and two other waiters stopped and looked over at us. We had money remaining on the table and another waiter came over, bent down to be eye level with the table and asked what wine we drank. He said he wanted to look at the bottle but seemed more interested in the money we had on the table. He tried to be friendly but really... too little too late. I always leave a tip but in this occasion the only tip I left was to clean their linen.
There are plenty of other places to eat in Lisbon. Don't let the appearance of this places nice interiors fool you.

Liked it a lot, the staff was very nice and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. No waiting time.
I ordered a pasta in parmesan wheel and was very impressed when the waiters came to the table to prepare it in the wheel itself. The starters was also good.

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en attent en de inrichting en service zijn super. Echter vond ik een stuk plastic in mijn voorgerecht en ben ik de hele nacht ziek geweest door waarschijnlijk het hoofdgerecht. Ik had pasta vongole en waarschijnlijk waren de schelpen niet goed. Voor een restaurant van dit kaliber en met deze prijzen kan dat echt niet.

Passing by, it looked like a lovely restaurant. Once inside they were somewhat busy and asked if we could return in 45 mins. We got back in time and then waited another 15 mins. Ok fair enough, then once we sat down we ordered and NO WORD OF A LIE, the food took more than an hour to arrive. AN HOUR!! we were the only table left in the whole place and our food still wasn’t there. We truly felt forgotten. There were no apologies. We wanted to have an espresso/dessert after but that definitely wasn’t happening after wasted more than 2.5 hrs at this place. But I’m giving it 2 stars as the food was good. So in conclusion if you have 2+ hrs to have lunch and are not starving please come here.

Very very very disappointing. After booking a table we had to wait 50 minutes for the food which was of very poor quality. Nothing like a real Italian restaurant, I would look elsewhere!

Entramos en este restaurante porque fue el único que no nos ha salido a intentar vendernos nada a la calle ,cosa que nos resultaba un poco agobiante . Al entrar el restaurante era muy acogedor,el servicio rápido muy atento y mucha calidad en la comida. Lo recomiendo sin duda. La comida es Italiana, pero,se agradece un descanso de comida portuguesa con esa calidad. Especialidad de espaguetti con parmesano. Riquisimo.

Entramos al restaurante porque era uno de los pocos que no te vendían compulsiva mente en la calle, algo que me suele molestar mucho. La experiencia fue buena. Relación calidad precio bien. El personal muy amable y la comida muy buena Recomiendo los espagueti al parmesano. Especialidad de la casa, que fue lo que yo tome.

Se come muy bien. El trato es muy atento y amable. La comida es deliciosa y es auténticamente italiana. Hecha de forma tradicional. Las cantidades son buenas e incluso grandes, y los precios son relativamente bajos en comparación con otros sitios similares. Una muy buena recomendación para comer en Lisboa.

Fomos ao engano. Depois de na SIC terem aconselhado este restaurante no programa 7 Sexta Feira resolvi experimentar . Desilusão. Nem a entrada nem os pratos principais tinham qualidade. Só se salvou a sobremesa. O serviço não é profissional. É pena porque o local está bem decorado e num sítio central.

I was at La Vita e Bella tonight for dinner with a friend. It was recommended to us by our hotel.
We ate inside and the place is very nice inside. We both had pasta dishes with seafood that were delicious. I tried Portuguese beer for the first time and it was great. Our waiter Jeff told us they had the best Tiramisu and he was right. It was fabulous and the people at the next table were saying it was the best they have ever had and we agreed. We also had salad pears,walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese which was also wonderful. This is the place to go for great Italian food and the service was also very good.

We do not recommand this restaurant. The kids were charged 9€ for spaghetti with butter...which is the price for carbonara spaghetti. After complaining, they just said they can not charged for less because their computer did not allow it...

Una buena alternativa a la comida portuguesa en viajes de varios días. El personal es amable y rápido y habla italiano. La puzza ligera la pasta al dente. Buenos los postres.
