Lot better than expected, would visit again. The huge toast with cheese and mushroom was around 8 euro which is enough for 2 not very hungry people.

I like this cafè, it reminded me Le Pain Quatidien. It offers crazy- good almond croissants, good salads, simple dishes, wine and coffee. Nice place to have rest and write your postcards. Service was nice, coffee was good, atmosphere very cozy and peaceful. Nice for tourist to have some rest and eat simple light food or just having coffee.

Pastelaria e padaria de qualidade superior. Os preços são mais elevados que os praticados pelas pastelarias portuguesas, mas a sua qualidade é muito superior aos concorrentes... Ingredientes de qualidade... Usam manteiga em vez da margarina industrial... Tudo muito apetitoso... O único senão é que os preços para consumir no local são mais elevados do que o take away... Pessoal simpático

Lamentável, o melão da salada de frutas estava estragado, usam talheres de plástico, não há guardanapos disponíveis para o cliente, temos de pedir, no meu caso n havia mesmo, 5€ por um copo de salada de fruta estragada? Não obrigado.

Abusivo. Denunciable. Precios indicados perfectamente absolutamente en todo y más o menos “razonables” menos (casualmente) en los más caros. Pequeño bocata redondo 7,5€. Ni siquiera te detallan el precio en el tíquet. Solo los conceptos. Te enteras de lo que cuesta al final cuando vas a pagar. Una vergüenza que abusen así del turismo. Gente como ellos hacen que tengan fama de Ladrones.

So disappointed by the Quality of Service !
Today I had the worst experience at Paul Cascais , I always come here for good French pastries & croissants but not anymore ! for the high price I Expect to have good coffee and Warm pastries at least in the early morning . No one wants to pay 3,5 for a cold croissant! I have been in many Paul ‘s around the world they are known for that good quality croissant & pain au chocolat ! I asked the Guy serving the coffee to warm it for us , he said the warming machine was broken and ok ! There was a girl that seemed to be the manager , I thought that she would find a friendly solution . Didn’t think that it will be so Frustrating and Impossible for her to do so . She laterally was cold , Talking down to us ,like she was doing us a favor and ready to argue that the croissants were fresh and out just 15 min ago when clearly it was not ! Finally they agreed to warm it in the kitchen . When she came with the plate we said thank you she didn’t reply back . Now this is the most disrespectful and Disgusting behavior that you can receive when drinking your morning coffee and they are clearly used to treat customers like they are enemies disturbing their peace ! Maybe they don’t care cause it is a touristic spot . And What a Shame!

The workers have very bad behavior. Even i visit Paul at any place where i ll be i prefer to stay without my coffee than to visit this place again. Only after I was shouting to the boy who was fixing the coffees , he asked me sorry and became quiet. Avoid the place.

The coffee tastes of hot milk. I asked for one I could taste only to be served a very slightly stronger coffee. What a shame. Is Paul trying to cut costs on quality coffee?

We’ve been going to Paul’s bakery since it opened in Cascais.
Unfortunately we’ve noticed that you have to be careful with the payment. They have a ‘to go’ price and one for when you’re eating at the venue.
It happened several times that we were charged the price for eating inside, while ordering to go.
They used to shortchange all the time, but they installed a change return machine, so that is no longer possible.
Their products are very good ( coffee excluded) so we keep going. The dishonesty is a turn off.

It's in a great little spot in the square in Cascais. The breads & bakes are delicious, sweet & savoury. Coffee is good too. Not the friendliest bunch, but if you can look past that, it's well worth a visit.

Comida horrível sem sabor e demasiado cara. O staff nao tem organização nenhuma, nao acerta os pedidos e sao demasiado lentos. A loja está muito mal feita com um balcao altissimo em que nao se consegue ver o empregado a falar conosco aos berros.

Rien à voir avec les gâteaux portugais (beaucoup beaucoup trop sucrés et sans subtilités) Ici tout est de qualité et on sent la qualité francaise (d' ailleurs la patisserie francaise est connu dans le monde entier comme étant la meilleure) n'écoutez pas ceux qui ne connaissent rien d'autre que leur gateau et n'ont aucune comparaison sérieuse et fondée
Seul bémol la qualité du service pas bonne pour un Français (mais ceux sont des portugais qui servent et ils n'ont aucun sens du service

Good cakes, but cappuccino ....take the lowest note. If you are a cappuccino drinker, you will be disappointed.

Tres déçu par cette enseigne française au Portugal.
Aucun prix n est affiché sur les sandwichs, c est la mauvaise surprise au moment de payer (presque 5 euros le sandwich au thon,cher pour le Portugal)
Aucune formule n est proposée avec le sanwich.tout est donc au tarif plein pot.
Le sourire et l amabilité est la aussi.surement en option.
Bref,a deconseiller fortement.
Petit bemol,le sandwich est tout de meme bon....ouf

Emplacement idéal mais c’est la seule chose positive que nous avons trouvé à dire. Trop cher et pas de prix sur tous les produits en vitrine + 2 prix différents sur place (+ cher) ou à emporter (- cher). Bref, à éviter ☹️

Some staff try hard, but the place lacks proper management. I've seen dozens of people leave after a 15-20 minute wait with no service, not even a menu. The prime location right next to the town hall is great, but the food is way too pricey for what it is. Not recommended.

We went there to celebrate our anniversary and it turn out to be a very bad idea. The staff was lazy - we had to ask them several times to clean a table for us. When we finally got a clean table and ordered they didn’t bring half of the order which meant not everyone got their breakfast. When confronting the excuse was that they didn’t understand us - which is a direct lie as we made sure that the waiter understood what we ordered! Compare to the price level in Portugal Paul is very expensive why it should also provide a 5 star service. There was non and actually the waiter didn’t serve us half of our order on purpose as we complained in the beginning for not getting our table cleaned. Being used to other Paul’s this place is a complete disaster and a disgrace for the Paul’s chain.
