Food is not special but cheap, cakes and cupcakes are great tho! Service is nice but unfortunately the coffee is really really bad. I wish they could invest in new coffee/new machine because the place is nice but I would not recommend to go when you wish to have a nice cup of coffee.

Ein tolles Café für Frühstück oder zum Lunch! Seit mittlerweile 4 Jahren gehen wir hier jeden Urlaub hin zum Frühstücken oder um ein paar Snacks für den Strand mitzunehmen. Sehr freundliche Betreiber und Mitarbeiter- eben typisch Portugal

Op basis van de reviews ben ik hier naartoe gegaan. Helaas heb ik een ander beeld gekregen. Het eten was ok (ham kaas toast/quiche/soep van de dag en een appelpie shake) maar niet heel bijzonder. Maar vooral de bediening viel mij erg tegen. Ze waren kortaf en onvriendelijk. Het eten werd op onze tafel gezet zonder communicatie en ook bij betalen werd er bijna niet gecommuniceerd. Een dankjewel en tot ziens kon er niet meer af. Buiten stond onze serveerster te roken, toen wij weggingen. Geen woord kwam er meer uit en ze keek ons alleen maar na. En nee, wij waren echt niet onvriendelijk en hadden echt geen rare vragen gesteld. Hele vreemde zaak en wat mij betreft geen aanrader.

one of the many "hipper" and more modern (and I believe Portuguese owned and run) sweet spots, that in opposite to a lot of other spaces (especially around this area...) kept their prices on a descent level, even though they have more lojas nowadays, resp. being successful. not getting greedy and staying professional and keeping up the high quality, this is highly likeable. absolutely stunning salted caramel cheesecake.

This place was so busy when we walked in, but the waitress that served us did everything with a smile, explanation and patience (05/03/2019). She was whizzing around to lots of other tables in and out of the venue and seemed to take everything in her stride. Regretfully I didn't ask her name. She helped me with my cake selections to take away (which I forgot to take pictures of), but they were all good (red velvet cake slice, caramel cheesecake and lemon drizzle I think it was, or something similar)! On comparison to their other site, I preferred this one because of the staff and ambience. Cash only (or they don't accept foreign cards, I can't remember).

Sehr nettes und wunderschönes Cafe. Hier kann man sehr gut frühstücken und den Tag super starten. Super leckere Toasts, Sandwiches und auch die Pancakes sind ein Traum. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Sou cliente habitual há quase dois anos e sempre que tinha tempo ia sempre tomar o meu café com o meu cupcake red Velvet, contudo senti que a qualidade dos bolos foi diminuindo com o a expansão da marca, algo que devia ser travado.
Principalmente a nível de coberturas. Ja nao consigo encontrar a mesma qualidade dos cupcakes como no início o que acho muito triste pois a expansão de uma marca é conseguir levar a novos locais o mesmo produto e qualidade para que todas as pessoas consigam ter acesso a um produto em comum. Com a expansão não deveria existir a diminuição da qualidade dos produtos, lamentavelmente é o que vejo a acontecer

Vibe : nice n quite ,some people do work with their laktop, typical place that u can stay longer comfortably.

Service : friendly staff, helpful, no complain at all.
definitely will go again n highly recommend for breakfast lunch and maybe if u want to work from cafe with ur laktop this is one of the best option in Lisbon as my experience.!

Estava à espera de mais variedade de cupcakes, comemos um mas a frescura não era notória.

O espaço é agadável e amplo, no entanto deixa muito a desejar com alguns colaboradores, pela falta de simpatia e abordagem ao cliente. De referir, que também como aspecto negativo foi a falta de varios ingredintes... Não tinham: bananas, chantily, nutella, gelados, etc. Quando há faltas, podem sempre recorrer aos supermercados, para culmatar as falhas de ultima hora... Neste caso eram demasiadas faltas.
Neste momento deixa muito a desejar, relativamente ao anterior espaço.

Poor service. We walked in, no one greeted us despite there were ample staff working. We stood for a few minutes in front of the counter hoping someone would greet us. Nothing happened. We finally took a seat on the terrace outside the café. There was an employee who was inside who saw us walking to the terrace, she spoke to a local patron who took his seat and she ignored us completely. We sat down, after a few minutes with no visible service we left.

I wish I had the time to try everything on their menu, seriously! Everything is fresh, made to order and of the things I did try I loved it all! I had a smoothie, tried the yogurt with fruit and granola and also tried their tuna melt, with tomatoes, black olives, and corn. I absolutely loved all the foods I ordered from here. The staff is friendly and the pricing is definitely affordable. This was my go to spot for my stay in Portugal. They have a nice little outdoor sitting area as well, it is a very chill laid back place on a nice quiet street, so I can understand why some say the service was slow. They will not rush you out, if you’d like to sit on your laptop and work for hours, or just sit and relax you have the leisure to do so.

Slow service and cold food... we waited about 10-15 minutes for someone to come over to us, even though she gave me a menu so she knew I was there. She said they were busy inside, well 3 other people outside left in the meantime and it wasn’t very full inside. We ordered and got our coffee in a few minutes. The OJ and our food took a bit longer and the food, pancakes and eggs were cold. She asked us later how it was so we told her and she said sorry but sorry doesn’t fix my cold food. Disappointed because it looked like a nice place with a good menu. Spend your money elsewhere.

The café itself is lovely, however the service was terrible. One of our meals did not even arrive and the staff were quite rude. The quality of the coffee is below standard, I would not recommend it unfortunately

The place has a nice ambience, but unfortunately that’s where it stops. Maybe we caught the waitress on an off day, but we ordered 3 coffees..they all came out at separate times, and all cold (the coffee is not very good). We then ordered 3 breakfasts and only 2 came out.
After this we had to go somewhere else for real coffee and get another breakfast

Local muito “hipster”, ambiente agradável, bom café e boa comida. Encomendámos um bolo com base em fotos no site, mas o que recebemos foi um pouco (bastante...) aquém do esperado, notou-se pouco esforço. Mas não deixo de recomendar o local.

Me and my family visited this place this morning for breakfast and we loved it. The waitresses were friendly, we liked the cupcakes, the cappuccino and the spinach pie. The decorations were very cool, the cafe was cozy and the music in there was relaxing.

Great food great service and value for money, but it is very important to confirm your order and understanding overall everywhere in Portugal. Language barrier and limitation of service experience might end your experience in a surprise. Make sure you know whats going on your bill as an extra before you take a bite. Other than that just sit down and enjoy your delicious meal.

Has become my favorite café in Lisbon so far. I always go there for their cakes. The drinks and other pastries are also excellent and reasonably priced. Very spacious being such an ideal spot for chilling on a sunny day or working / studying a bit. Very kind attentive staff as well.

We liked the place, and the fact that Tease already has a history. Despite moving from various locations previously, they keep going, and seem to maintain an identity, which is a good thing! The service is alright and the food was quick, a salad and a toast and drinks for two. We had not ask for a dessert while seated, but we decided to have one to share, just before we payed on the counter. We ended up having two, and they turned up to be the highlights of our meal: brownie (very good), and vegan chocolate cake (extremely good)! The waitress smiles when she talks, and we liked that.

Espaço acolhedor, com uma decoração muito gira e onde dá para relaxar por uns minutos. Os chás são muito bons. Os bolos, com especial atenção - assim pareceu - para os cupcakes, são muito bons e caseiros, provei o cheesecake de frutos vermelhos e foi definitivamente um dos melhores que já comi. A simpatia está também ao mesmo nível dos bolos.

Tried here for a late breakfast. The set menu is very good - with juice and eggs for €9.50. They had run out of croissants so only one of us could have it; that didn’t matter as the toast was delicious - I think the soaking with butter made it better!
Service was efficient and friendly enough. The cakes and quiches looked fantastic! I wish were here longer to try them.

We took 45 mins to transport here and at 6:32 the girl wouldn’t serve us. Long brunette hair. “There was a problem, sorry” as she walked off with her boyfriend. Happy hour was calling. Such terrible service. Don’t make an effort to come here.

We visited tease when we just arrived in Lisbon. What a super cozy and welcoming restaurant. It has a affordable card with good vegetarian options And desserts you would find in heaven.
The male waiter was super friendly and gave perfect service. We asked him for some tips to do and see around the city and he gave us a list with great things. During our weekend we followed his tips and had saw wander full lookout spots and beautiful parks. Our last night we decided to go back to tease to enjoy another dessert.

The best cupcakes in town. Whenever I'm craving for a red velvet I know Tease is the spot to go! They also have some other amazing cakes and portions are quite generous - just the way they should be ;) It tends to get really crowded during the weekend and during those times service becomes slow (especially if you order something from the kitchen) so take an extra dose of patience with you.

They had multiple menu language options which included many tea and coffee options. Fresh made pastry selection and a small lunch sections which I did not have but looked very good. A small place that that is open all day. As well as a very clean bathroom. Would definitely go back to get a morning/afternoon coffee and cake.

O Tease também já é um clássico em Lisboa. Conhecido pelos seus cupcakes tem excelentes sumos, saladas e pequenos acepipes. É um lugar que ainda não sofreu a histeria dos preços dos últimos anos. O ambiente é acolhedor e tem agora um irmãozinho mais pequeno na Rua de São Paulo.

Nice place with a nice mix between locals and tourists. Breakfast choice was good but not extensive. Juices tasted very good, the coffee was okay but not outstanding. There are better spots for amazing coffee in Lisbon. Still worth a visit because of the nice atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food. If you wanna get some work done the also have free WiFi.

On a pas essayé vraiment, on a attendu pour les cartes, longtemps, on a choisi rapidement, et on a attendu la serveuse longtemps ! Du coup le matin la faim n'aidant pas nous sommes partis. Nous avons réessayé le soir pour une salade, elles avaient l'air trop bonnes. Dommage pour nous ils ne servent pas le soir.

Went for a coffee and cupcake... An Oreo cupcake that does not use the original Oreo it's a first. The cappuccino was extremely poor without any foam and of course the waiters were very unhappy, probably because of the fake Oreo's lol. Not an experience to repeat...

I came here for the cupcakes, because I heard they were extraordinary. They were so good ! We had two to go, the Oreo was fantastic. The dulce de leche was not that fantastic, it fell apart because the inside caramel was too sticky. Even though five star rating because they tasted great, comparable to Magnolia Bakery level if you ask me.
Cute interior as well, and the staff was friendly :-)

Espaço cheio do charme dos cafés de há meia década e cupcakes muito bons! Para acompanhar várias opções de bebida fora do café normal (smothies, sumos detox, chá...). O serviço podia ser um pouco mais rápido (não é lento mas podia ser melhorado).

Cute place with cosy interior. They have a lot of desserts and some not sweet
pies, very good croissants and cupcakes. If you are choosing between Copenhagen and Tease, I would recommend Tease, while the place is simpler, the the variety and the taste of food is better and the price is much lower.

Tease is my favorite place to get a delicious cupcake. They have so many different unique combinations and the staff is really nice! The cafe is also great for doing work.

The space is cozy and the cakes and cupcakes are delicious (from 2.2 to 2.5€). You can choose from coffee specials (2-3€) and natural juices (3€) to accompany. If you love cupcakes this is the place to go!

You don't ask a couple in the middle of their "cupcake experience" to move from the confy sofa to another table just to accommodate better a group that just arrived. Worst is also not agree that you are completely wrong and try to go convince that you are right. By the way, average cupcakes too...

The cupcakes are very nice, fresh and sweet. A bit pricey though.
The place is simple but pretty. Also small, and it gets full fast which makes it noise. Perhaps getting your cupcake out and enjoy it on the near by garden might be a good alternative.
Edited: the staff is very rude and arrogant!

The first and ONLY Café that has cupcakes..and lots of amazing cakes too...they make everything on site so it's proper home cooked yummy things. It's busy because it's fabulous! Can't get enough of this place! Cupcakes are incredible and the lunches too....staff very friendly and it shows they love working here. The Halloween cupcakes are way too good to eat!!!!

One of the best cafes I know in Lisbon! They have an amazing atmosphere, the staff are very nice, some of my favourite albums are played there regularly (like Air - Moon Safari), it always smells of deliciousness and there's even a portrait of Frida Kahlo among many other cool decorations. Ambiente heterogéneo entre o hispter e o alternativo. Contudo, é extremamente simpático, confortável e acolhedor, numa artéria sossegada e quase sem trânsito automóvel, à Praça das Flores no Príncipe Real. Lovely little coffee shop and cafe in a quiet area of B. Alto away from the tourist crowds. Free wifi and power outlets. Yummy menu do dia soup and main for 5€. Both options were vegetarian the day i visited, not sure if that's normal but it was a bonus for me!

Von beinah kostenlos bis absolut teuer findet man alles in Lissabon. Wenn man sich jedoch in ein paar Nebengassen wagt und den aufdringlichen Promotoren widersteht, findet man Perlen, wie das Tease :-)

A small place in the barrio alto, ideal to enjoy a cupcake with a tea or a lemonade. The decoration is really cute and the staff really nice. Looking forward going back again.
