Cozy Hostel/Surf House. Perfect for Solo Travellers and Miguel knows his Way around Waves. Recommended to do Surf lessons here. Worth it. + Beautiful View and Sunset.

The house is amazing, great view, friendly and chilled staff, modern kitchen and bathrooms and very clean. They offer a group BBQ once a week which is super cheap, fun and with their own service as if you're in a restaurant with amazing sunset view. Only one thing to comment regarding the surf: lessons go to Lizandro beach which is most of the times very (too) crowded in high season, and the class was a bit full compared to other surf lessons I joined. It's hard for the teachers to give everyone attention in the water, and hard for the students to surf because you have to look out for so many other people (surfers and swimmers) in the water. Would stay here again but follow surf lessons with another school who take you to a more private spot in the water, such as São Julião beach.

I've been there with my wife and my 3 y.o. Son, we spent only one night with the promise to come back next summer. Wonderful location, the staff was cool and kind,good breakfast and the room was comfy with nice design. I also had a surf lesson with the supercool guys Arturo Joao & Co. Was funny with a perfect organization! SEE YOU SOON GUYS!

Highly recommended. I’ve stayed in surfing villas / houses all around the world (Sri Lanka, Philippines, Mexico, France, UK), and Laneez is right up there with the best of them. The sunset views from the terrace are phenomenal, rooms are clean, instructors are cool but also very professional (shout out to João!), and the private bar is well...a lot of fun ;) The usual guest crowd is laid back and the right balance of outgoing / social and independent. It’s a little older than your typical hostel (~25-35s) but that’s exactly what we wanted. If you can book a spot (usually sold out!) then grab it - you won’t regret it. Enjoy!

Very good stay ! Lovely San Pedro room with a spacious balcony facing the Ocean! Very nice surf house and helpful people ! Surf lessons are very good too ! Huge thanks to Mark, Miguel (father & son), all the surf teachers, Jody, Ligia (morning cleaning lady) Will definitely get back there again !

Loved the place and the atmosphere! Facilities were really good, common area and it's view amazing, staff and other guests super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay here when visiting Ericeira again.

Great Location with awesome sunset views out to sea. Surfing instructors are great and recommend for beginners and intermediate surfers. Instructors are knowledgeable about the local area and are a good source of information to know where the best breaks are for any given time of the day.

Very warm and welcoming.Manuel and his team operate a very professional surf school and Laneez truly is a home away from home for all independent tourists . My daughter and I shared a twin bedded room which was exceptionally clean and tidy .Laneez hostel is convenient to the village and all beaches .We will visit again .Tanya and Kelly- May from Ireland.

Perfect located! Directly in front of the ocean this surfcamp and close to the center of Ericeira. The sturcture is very clean and the staff is friendlly and professional!
