We had family dinner (for 7) here one night while we were on holidays for a week in Quinta do Lago. Everybody loved their food. Every single dish from starters, mains and desserts were delicious!!! The only thing was the desserts (all revolved around ice cream) we ordered were left on the counter for too long before they were served so they were a bit too melted when arrived. It was a busy night though. Understandable. All the staff were very friendly and attentive! Good sense of humor as well! My brother in law and his wife couldn’t join us for dinner so we ordered pizza + fries to bring home for them. Very efficient takeaway service too.

We went to Il Vero in May 2019 as a group of 7. Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Great view over the golf course too. Food is moderately priced, but justifiable due to the quality. Will be back 100%.

I had a nice experience at Il Vero, the waitresses and waiters were very attentive but it felt like there were too many at once. As one would come over and ask if the food was ok, then the next one would do the same. I was looking forward to the pizzas but they really hold back on the ingredients and what you're left with is a crispy base with bits of cheese and tomato. It was one of our most expensive meals during our time in the Algarve too. Difficult to justify a €18 euro pizza!

What an improvement since Nuno Goncalves took over this place! The tired old Bobby Jones restaurant is gone and in its place a stylish, fabulous Italian! Great food, fine dining and a proper Italian pizza oven. Great value, too. Can recommend without hesitation! Brilliant to have another fab Italian restaurant in Quinta do Lago.

Good pizza- simple style with quality ingredients. Thin crust an minimal sauce. Calm and quiet atmosphere. Good for a relaxed date or a family dinner with kids. Very reasonable prices on food and drinks.

Il Vero is a brand new restaurant in Quinta do Lago, it is located right in the center of Quinta, where it used to be the famous Bobby Jones restaurant. Many upgrades have been done to this place, which is now even more elegant and modern, but keeping the traditional layout that so many people like. The service is very professional, and there is lots of attention to the guests. The food is truly italian with great plating and premium ingredients. The wine list is very complete and deserts are delicious. It's a great restaurant for most of occasions, from a family event to a business one.

The location and ambience is very good. Staff are mostly attentive and reasonably knowledgable about the food and wine. The food is excellent although not cheap but I would say worth it. Will definitely go back again especially for the Rossini

Food good, service good, a massive improvement over the awful Bobby Jones that was there before. However, be careful, 4.5 euros for 2/3 pint is a blatant rip off and soft drinks are tiny and ludicrously expensive. We found they were charging more than on the menu when we checked the bill. When told the staff didn't care. Shame as other than feeling like we were being had over it was good.

This is a new Italian to the area, Anazing views over looking the fairways, Friendly staff good food well worth a try

Wow what an amazing meal, so good we went back later in the week but could easily have been there every night Staff are very friendly, they make you feel special, a bit pricey but more than worth every penny

Absolutely shockingly bad experience, do not go to this restaurant. However if you do, don’t dare to try and highlight any issues with the manager as they will likely tell you that you are wrong and aggressively do their best to belittle your opinion.

Great pizza in spacious restaurant/bar. View over the golf course is exceptional. Get a table on the edge of the terrace!

Excellent pizza chef. Traditional pizzas as good as you get in Italy. Better dough than a number of other pizza restaurants in the golden triangle. Good value and quality ingredients. Only down side is the customer service which is often sullen and abrupt. Overall would recommend for food and setting.

Good service, most plates are good, although this cannot be said about the pizzas. They really hold back on the ingredients and their base isn't that great. Had truffle pizza which did not taste like truffle at all, don't get it.
