Was craving steak & saw this small place on the main run around in Vilamoura. I had a filet mignon which was melt in the mouth wonderful & my husband had a rib eye which was a bit chewy in places but overall enjoyable. We then had a banoffee pie which was lovely. Staff very pleasant & lovely atmosphere.

A group of 8 ate here and all had nice food at a reasonable price.Waitress was polite and friendly and even had time to have a little laugh with us.

Fantastic little place. Great food, fantastic staff and well priced. We found Assado late in our holiday but will be visiting again on our next visit.

Excellent find this place! Very good food, service is spot on and excellent value for money. I'd go so far to say, it's better than alot of the restaurants on the Marina. Give it a try!

Assado is a great steakhouse. The setting may not be particularly inviting though it's clean and comfortable but the food, service and friendliness of the staff is first class. My wife and our kids loved it. The steaks are cooked perfectly and really well seasoned - the best I've had in Portugal. The kids pizzas are proper Italian pizzas too - not regional variants. It's very reasonably priced too with a decent house red. Highly recommended
