Visited for the first time since we have been in Vilamora. We sat in the adjoining restaurant as one member of our party preferred a pizza. The staff were happy for us to choose from the Indian and Italian style menu. The food was ok but definitely not the best Indian we've had. Staff were attentive and food arrived quickly.
A meal for 4 came to almost 90 euros which I think was expensive for the amount and quality of food we had. Pleased we tried eating here but probably wouldn't go back

this the best infian meal i have had in a long time. the staff are very friendly and the food is of a high standard, you can find this just up from the marina , take a left turn at the sunseeker boat shop, up the stairs passed the irish bar and you will see it up to the right. well worth a visit and the prices are reasonable for the area. top quality

Excellent food. Karachi curry was perfect. Service very good and price was so cheap. My wife even given a discount for having only vegetarian curry.
Large bottle of water , 2 main course with rice and a Nan. With 2 beers was 30 euros!!

One of the best curries we've ever had! Full of flavour, lamb was tender, plenty of veg. Good choices and great helpful staff. House red was also pretty great for only 9€!! Would definitely eat again!!!

I’m not sure these reviews are reliable.
The food was expensive and the quality was poor. Taste was fine if you’ve been up for 20hrs and had 1 McDonald’s. Chutney tray was definitely the worse Iv had and the pushy waiter taking our order was bordering on the offensive side. Yes mate, I’m sure I want the chicken tikka and yes, I’m sure I don’t want any additional sides to the ones Iv already ordered thanks.

I had a lamb rogan josh which was lovely and a mango kulfi for dessert which was a taste sensation for me, yum. The restaurant was very nice and well run. I would go back in an instant. Almost forgot the free drink at the end, which was a nice touch.

Returned to a historical place for Indian cuisine. Quality dishes for reasonable prices and friendly service. What more can you ask for.
Even the kids menu has Indian dishes... How cool is that!!

Staff are so accommodating and friendly. Definitely get your value for money as the portions are large, not to mention the amazing quality of the food itself. Best indian I and my partner have had. Have been twice now and would definitely go again!

This place has been my all time favourite place to go and eat.. they have variety of mouth watering dishes and above all the restaurant is so hygiene and workers are so professional..i visit portugal once a year and i always go to this restaurant cuz i know my trip wont be that memorable without eating their yummy fresh indian food.this place is highly recommend..

Hervorragender Inder und geht auch ohne aggressive Werbung auf der Strasse trotz der etwas „verborgenen“ Lage. Grosse Auswahl an Gerichten zu der Lage und dem Zielpublikum angemessenen Preisen.
Hier kann man übrigens auch richtig scharf Essen und es gibt jede Menge vegetarische Gerichte. Ein gutes Zeichen für Authentizität an einem Ort wo man dies eher nicht erwarten darf.

Went there for a birthday dinner, group party. Must say mostly everything was wonderful. Staff was really helpful and kind (good sense of humor) but the language barrier sometimes made it a bit if a hassle, and somethings got mixed up, to the point that we had to wait a looooooong time for our food (about an hour), which was the biggest turn off. Besides that and having our table next to the door (which was constantly being open and it was not very pleasant) the rest was fairly fine and nice for a dinner party. Not the best I have had, not the worst I have had, it was good food and they handled our group very well despite everything, they even helped and made it really easy for us in the end with the splitting of the bill.

Possibly the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I decided to go here because of the positive reviews from other vegans. From the minute I explained to the staff I did not eat animal products they understood and told me all of the suitable vegan options they had available on the menu and that they could accommodate and make almost any meal vegan. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic. Ordered vegetable pakora to start and the seasoning and texture was amazing. For the main I ordered a chana masala and it was full of flavour, the chickpeas and rice were cooked to perfection, just incredible. Compliments to the chefs. I left the restaurant feeling so full and delighted with the service provided. Highly recommend and will definitely be back if I return to Portugal in future.

Best Indian, we had prawn pakora and lamb puri, and for our main course we asked staff to recommend something and we absolutely loved it. Friendly staff. And not to pricey. Definitely will go back.

We visited both Natraj and the O'Colonial several times last year and as a family were all very impressed. This year we have visited several times and have again not been disappointed. Food is authentic always hot and on point. All of the staff are helpful even to the point of cooking a separate sauce for one of our party. Even with a large party of diners service is fantastic and you are not left sitting for ages.Staff have always taken the time to talk and have a laugh with not only us but other diners as well. Would highly recommend both restaurants as owned by same owner and the food is amazing in both establishments. If you eat in the O'Colonial you can still have a curry and vica versa. Will not hesitate to revisit next year

The BEST Indian in Vilamoura. The popadoms come with a selection of 3 dips all of which are full of flavour from a spicy chilli to a cool cucumber. They also do a mango chutney dip but you have to ask for this and it is at an extra cost. The curry dishes are bursting with flavour and all very well cooked. We had rice to share between 2 and naan bread to share also. Not only does the food make this Indian restaurant great but the staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help. We were offered complimentary drinks once we asked for the bill which just added to our delightful meal out. Would be happy to go back again and again!

Heerlijk eten met erg aardige bediening. Aan het einde krijg je of een goed gevuld glas likeur of 10% korting. Bediening en koks komen ook echt uit India, naar mijn menig komt dit echt terug in het eten. Echt een aanrader. We waren voor 4 personen met voor gerechten en 2 rondjes drank ongeveer 90,- kwijt.

Ate here with my sister and our four children (we have two children each). We are from the UK and they understood perfect English and were very accommodating with my two picky boys. Would recommend. Especially the chicken balti!

Very tasty curry. Natraj is managed/owned in cooperation with the adjacent O Colonial Portuguese restaurant, which meant that while we'd booked with O Colonial we were seated at a Natraj table. We were also able to choose from both menus, which meant two of our group had curry, the rest had steak from O Colonial. All meals were delicious. We would all definitely go back.

I enjoyed a very delicious meal here.
I had sheekh kebab starters followed by a chicken saag with rice main meal. All the food was delicious and very fresh.
The only negatives I would point out here are the onion salad with the poppadoms could be improved greatly, a bit more salad could be offered with the sheekh kebab starter and the general decor of the place being refurbished would get this place a stars from me.
I would have given 4.5 stars but Google doesn't let you...

Absolutely fantastic, had many Indian takeaways and this is very good, we also had a vegan in our party and I forgot to mention this at the time of order, the staff were exceptional, understood and rushed out a freshly cooked vegan version, highly recommended, they cook everything fresh at time of order and will cater for the most fussy of customers.

We were well greeted by staff, who were very well accommodating with our needs. They provided baby high chairs, and offered great vegetarian food tailored to our needs. The service, and staff were exceptional with a can do attitude. Would highly recommend.

We usually dine at the Unicorn in Olhos d'Agua but they were closed this week. Their 'sister' restaurant in Vilamoura served food that was just as excellent, from their classic Prawn Puri starter to main of Chicken Tikka Parthia and signature crispy naan.

OMG! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
I am a regular here. The food as so delicious. The staff a friendly and helpful if you need more information about the dishes.
They are very good at offering gluten free options.
If you are you going to other Indian restaurants, you are missing out. Give Natraj a try!

Had a meal here last night and me and my husband had to agree it was the best Indian meal we’ve ever had!!!
The restaurant is beautifully clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it’s not overpriced and above all the food is amazing!!!!
We will definitely visit this restaurant again when we return to Portugal next year.

Sendo este restaurante perto de mim, por vezes levo para casa e oferecem uma garrafa de vinho.
O restaurante em si foi remodelado muito recentemente, tendo ficado com cozinha aberta na sala e a área das casas de banho ficaram bem maiores.
Sou cliente assíduo mas, desde a 1a vez que sempre senti-me bem recebido, staff simpático, comida muito boa sem ser cara (boa qualidade/preço), bom espaço tanto dá para comer dentro como tem umas mesas fora. Para as crianças tem um menú kids, cadeirinhas para bébés e tem fraldário.
No final saiu sempre com a sensação de cheio mas feliz!

We visited this restaurant with some hesitation as there are some more “high” rated restaurants around.. but this has exceeded all our expectations in a positive way.. amazingly authentic food and drink.
Both veg and non-veg food are great.. staff is very friendly and ambience is good too.. we would recommend this restaurant..
Mango lassi is pure punjabi authentic in taste, if you would like a taste of Punjab, do try that..

I was disappointed by this place. I'm of Indian origin and I was looking forward to some tasty chicken based on the reviews. I ordered the murg malai kebab starters which turned out dry and honestly felt like they were microwaved so I sent them back. Next, the lamb kebab. Ordered the non-ground meat version (i.e. not the sheekh kebab) and it was just doused in a deep red sauce and served. Finally the tandoori. I was looking forward to this and it wasn't tasty, in fact had a lot of coloring added. This place is rated highly mostly cuz of the drunk old men that seem to walk in here. They discounted me like 2.5 euros when they should have taken the entire 5.5 off for the murg kebab. Scammy. If you want chicken, try the O Peri Peri restaurant in the area. If you want good Indian food, it's in Lisbon. Try the Bengal Restaurant in Anjos/Intendente

Absolutely fantastic. Food was delicious and very fresh. Plenty of it. Prices incredibly reasonable. Staff are the most attentive we encountered in Portugal. Super friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for you. The ambience on the terrace is lovely. We even got a free drink after our meal. Delighted. Can't wait to go back.

Found this hidden gem whilst on holiday in Portugal, after eating at some really over priced food at the hotel and on the marina we decided to try Natraj, the food was delicious! Nicest Korma I've ever had. Really tasty and not too much. Would highly recommend anyone visiting vilamoura or surrounding areas to try this place, they also do deliveries if you fancy a takeout. Added bonus they give you a free drink of your choice after your meal! Very reasonably priced and friendly service.

This was the best tasting Indian food I've ever had. We had a selection of starters, nan Bread and lamb mains and all were fresh and packed with incredible flavours and very inexpensive. Well served by friendly, attentive staff. The do take away and delivery too.
