Я с семьей очень часто посещаю этот ресторан,еда вкусная и домашняя.,хозяин уделяет всем внимание,когда Вы первый раз посещаете ресторан,то поверьте,что обязательно вернетесь.Отношение к Вам как буд то знакомы всю жизнь.Сказать честно ,что только у Донато Вы можете поужинать,не просто горячую,а кипяток еду и очень быстрое обслуживание, слаженная команда.Рекомендую провести время в домашней обстановке это ресторан Донато.

Simply the best pizzas anywhere. They have got it just right. Perfect pizza dough. Just enough chewiness, and toppings not too heavy. Great prices too. What more could you ask!?

Excelente atendimento, com destaque para a Tânia (que nos atendeu em grande parte do tempo), mas toda a equipe foi muito atenciosa e simpática.
Como entrada escolhi os "Mexilhões da casa": prato bem servido e de sabor excepcional. Os melhores que comi durante meus 7 dias no Algarve.
Como prato principal eu comi a pizza de salame picante (esqueci o nome): massa leve, molho farto, queijo na medida certa e ótima quantidade de salame.

Siamo stati in vacanza a Luglio 2018, due settimane a Carvoeiro, due coppie. Abbiamo per caso cenato una sera in questo ristorante, la simpatia del Sig.Donato, titolare del locale, a fatto si che diventasse il nostro locale preferito tutte le volte che decidevamo di cenare fuori.
La pizza e' buona, cosi' come i primi piatti di pesce e tutto il resto, con prezzi ragionevoli. Consiglio a tutti, di cenare in questo locale, dove troverete, oltre a buone consumazioni, serate spensierate e allegre, che il Sig.Donato sara' lieto di offrire.

Tolle Pizzaria mit Wohlfühlatmosphäre
Wir bekamen die Muscheln wunschgemäß mit Weißweinsauce (anstelle Tomaten), obwohl nicht auf der Karte, und der Laden gut voll war. Die Pizza ist wagenradgroß und sehr gut. Penne Arrabiata ist scharf, aber nicht zu scharf.
Raffiniert wurde uns nach dem Hauptgang noch die Nachspeisenkarte vorgelegt, wo wir auch noch was gefunden haben.
Ach ja, der Wirt bedient selbst, ist sehr nett und kann auch noch gut deutsch.
Sehr netter Abend, und Preis/Leistung top!

The dishes were delicious and (more important) the staff was great. We felt so good dining at this restaurant. We were 5 people and we paid about 80 euros for our dinner, including a starter each and one or two drinks per person. We will come back!

Don’t let the outside fool you! The attention is great, the food much better than expected, I had a calzone and was like having one in Napoli, really good food friendly staff and a wonderful price much better than the restaurants around, it’s no easy to find but if you are up for Italian food this place its the right one!

Etwas versteckt gelegen: von Lagoa kommend und in Richtung Carvoeiro fahrend muss man gegenüber vom "Paleta" in eine Seitenstraße abbiegen. "Donato" ist ein guter Gastgeber, der mit den Gästen plaudert, auch auf deutsch. Mancher kennt ihn noch aus seinem früheren Restaurant in Sesmarias. Die Pizzas sind hier hervorragend und übrigens auch als "Take away" zu haben. Auch der Antipasti-Teller ist reichhaltig und lecker. Absolut erwähnenswert sind die niedrigen Preise, die sich deutlich vom Niveau in Carvoeiro unterscheiden. Und hier trifft man auch einen anderen alten Bekannten, nämlich die Bedienung aus dem "alten" Primavera in Carvoeiro bzw. dem mittlerweile geschlossenen "Frango Maluco" in Sesmarias. Dass Donato in Portugal spanisches Bier im Ausschank hat, sei ihm verziehen...

Visited Donatos in 2013 and 2014 on our last trip to Portugal when it was located on Sesmarias. Staying at Vale de Lapa and Vale de Oliveras
Friends told us that they had moved location so made a point of making a visit on this holiday.
Food was fantastic, service exceptional, cost very reasonable. When we mentioned our friends had recommended a visit we were presented with a bottle of Port. Will definitely visit again before we leave.
Best restaurant in Carvoeiro area by far. Great pizzas, pasta and meat dishes not to mention the delightful desserts.
