Real relaxed friendly atmosphere, coupled together with great authentic Portuguese food and you've got a winning combination.
Awesome desserts too. Big portions, mean that though this isn't the cheapest restaurant in town it's still excellent value.
Will go again.

Gemütliches portugiesisches Restaurant mit guter Küche und tollem Service. In rustikal gemütlicher Atmosphäre sitzt man entweder im vorderen Bereich auf Bänken oder im hinteren Bereich an Holztischen. Alles ist sehr schön eingedeckt und es gibt sogar schoene Weingläser. Essen war top und als nette Geste gab's einen Port aufs Haus.

Bit disappointing. Very limited menu. Restaurant was very quiet but service was extremely slow. Pizzas themselves were bland.

Die Cataplana die wir hatten wirkte geschmacklich leider etwas langweilig, das Fleisch war jedoch gut von der Konsistenz. Preislich auch nicht zu teuer, jedoch wurde leider eine Vorspeise serviert, die dann ohne zu fragen, ob wir diese denn essen wollen, auch auf der Rechnung mit verrechnet. Wir gingen davon aus, dass es, wie in einigen Restaurants so üblich, als kleine Aufmerksamkeit des Restaurants gedacht war.

Been twice on our holiday already and the food has been amazing. Sea Seabass was great, so was mixed kebab and the homemade lasagna is great.

Nach 50 Minuten Wartezeit isst Kid dann auch einmal den Hamburger, der ohne Brötchen serviert wird, also nur die blanke Bulette auf Teller zwischen Kartoffeln und Karotten. Auch das medium rare bestellte Steak eher well done schmeckt.

Que surpresa gastronómica. O espaço é encantador e acolhedor. Os colaboradores de uma simpatia fora de série. E o mais importante e que se destaca a ementa de uma variedade e qualidade incrivel. Tudo caseiro bem confeccionado. Aconselho vivamente as costeletas de borrego com molho de hortelã.

Amazing traditional Portuguese cuisine. Very friendly staff. Compliment to chef who is cooking so delicious food. This is must go place on your checklist when you visit Portugal. Good selection of wines. Would recommend to try homemade piri piri sauce, is not extremely spicy and got its character.

Experience not to be repeated: despite arriving early with only about 20% of the tables occupied we waited for over 45 minutes before I asked where our meals where. A few minutes later the first meal , a simple chicken piri piri , finally arrived. My own meal, a vegetable lasagne was supposed to be ready in another 15 minutes, I however preferred to ask for the bill and I had my dinner at home. There are quite a few good restaurants in the towns of Olhos and Falesia but this is definitely the worst experience I had since moving to Olhos de Agua four years ago.

9 of us had dinner here last night. Its a traditional place to eat with a small entrance but is huge inside. We were warmly greeted and as we sat down colouring books and pencils were given to our kids. The menu isn't extensive but I find this better than a place that's offers a menu the size of a phone book. We had the garlic prawns to start with, I would recommend these. And the lasagne was really nice too. Portions are good and the prices reasonable. There is a kids menu but it's mostly the usual fried / frozen foods. We would recommend this restaurant.

Il posto perfetto dove mangiare bene e non spendere una follia. Tutto buonissimo e per finire in bellezza due bicchieri di Porto offerti dalla cassa. Rispetto ad altri locali della zona è il miglior ristorante qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

Lovely food. Good service. Quirky restaurant which is much bigger than it looks so don't be put off if it looks busy, it extends back beyond what you can see from the street. Would recommend the brush dishes. The monkfish kebab was excellent.

Decent size menu. Very accommodating for kids. Food came quick and was tasty. Piri Piri chicken was lovely.
Atmosphere is very relaxed and is great for couples in the evening.

Sehr gutes Essen, vor allem die Lasagne ist spitzenmäßig!
Die Pizza ist auch sehr gut.
Die Bedienung ist freundlich und flott. Sie sind sehr entgegenkommend und nehmen (Kinder)Wünsche gerne an. Auch was zu malen gab es!
Das Ambiente ist urig und erinnert an den Schwarzwald. Aber es ist dennoch nicht seltsam sondern sehr passend und gemütlich.
Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend, gerne wieder!!

Freundliches Personal, schönes sauberes Restaurant, super leckere Gerichte die frisch wirken und angemesse Preise.
Auch gut: Speisekarte in allen gängigen Sprachen

Typical Algarvian dishes. Plenty of fish and seafood to choose. The Arroz de Marisco is for 3, no doubt. Very attentive staff and that makes all the difference.

Great restaurant with tasty fresh food and amazing service. All that at a very reasonable price. We had dinner/lunch here 3 times during our trip and will definitely return when next visiting Algarve in a few months time.

Lovely authentic Portuguese restaurant, lovely food , friendly staff . However we witnessed a family being asked to leave because their children were noisy . Also a customer mimicking that the children needed a good slap . We found this very distressing as they don’t know if the children had special needs . Even if the children didn’t that’s no excuse as the restaurant advertise that it’s children friendly . We probably will go back but we have considered not as we have young grandchildren and there for the grace of god .

Nette Bedienung , gute Auswahl an Fleisch und Fisch Gerichten.
Nicht zu teuer, schneller Service.
Der letzte Stern ist leider dem Ambiente zu opfern.... wie hatten Pech mit der Gruppe Sitznachbarn....und dann ist es leider sehr eng (zumindest vorne die Terrasse...)

Normally on my holiday I don't visit a restaurant twice but the fish on the menu made me break my promises :). Simple but sooo nice. The staff is very friendly and even ran to the store to get new strawberries for my gf when these were sold out that evening.

Freundliches Restaurant, schönes Ambiente.
Das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet. Es kann vorkommen wenn Ware ( Fisch, Fleisch) nicht frisch auf dem Markt zu bekommen war, gibt es das Gericht nicht
Es werden keine Tiefkühlwaren verarbeitet. Sehr gute Weinkarte
Mein Lieblingsessen: Scampi in Knoblauchsosse. Alle sehr freundlich.

Clean restaurant excellent food and very very friendly staff that clearly understand the hospitality industry.
Ate here twice over out 10 day break and it's our 2nd favourite restaurant in Olhas de Agua. Salmon in particular is excellent as are pizzas our group also tried mixed meats kebab and swordfish all excellent. Have seen a few poor reviews for this place but totally contrary to our experiences. Five stars for food easily.
