Quinta do Valdalágea is one of the very few places in this world where you can feel the past being carefully nourished and carried to the present. Is a place where you can feel the soul of Douro Valley, where hard work and vision, together, create magnificent wine. The Quinta is very charming with an interesting family story. The Lovely Anabela and Joaquim were very kind and they made me feel at home immediately. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. And wine...The wine was just perfect! I have tasted Quinta do Valdalágea Tinto Reserva 2015 and their magnificent Port wine. I will be back soon!

3 dias muito bem passados! Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Anabela, que esteve sempre disponível para qualquer questão. A Quinta está muito bem situada ainda com vista para o Rio Douro e outros vales. Fomos 2 casais com 2 crianças e é bastante kids friendly. O quartos são limpos e as camas muito confortáveis. Não podemos deixar de falar do pequeno almoço onde toda a comida era fresca e de qualidade.

We had a wonderful stay! It is like staying at your friends family winery for the weekend. Rooms had what we needed and Yania and Anabel took care of all of our needs! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice building, but located directly next to the highway. Therefore quite loud, not a place to enjoy the scenery

Com umas vistas de tirar a respiração, esta casa secular e cheia de história foi uma ótima escolha para um fim de semana de descanso. Receberam-nos como uma simpatia e delicadeza de aquecer o coração. Os quartos são luxuosos e a decoração focada nos pormenores. O pequeno-almoço é feito todos os dias pela Anabela e inclui compotas e fruta caseiras deliciosas. Queremos repetir em breve!

We came here for my birthday and absolutely loved it!!! The view is stunning, the house has so much history (over 200 years) and the rooms are so comfortable. I especially found the bathrooms so luxurious. The breakfast was great and the owner went out of his way to tell us about all the amazing history the place has. It is also on a working vineyard. This place is a real labour of love. A little out of town but a taxi cost less than €7 and worth it for the peace and quiet

Wow, what an amazing stay. It's a beautiful historic home which has been tastefully renovated throughout and provided all the modern comforts for our stay but still maintained its character. Set among an picturesque vineyard. The customer service from our host was above and beyond expectations and included an amazing cooked breakfast. Thank you so much!!! We would definitely love to stay again.
