Local muito relaxante e arranjado. Óptimo para uma escapadinha relaxante. Decoração minimalista e típica dos quartos e histórica das áreas comuns.

Beautifull place surrounded by nature and old olive trees. Also features the old ruins of the convent.
By night you will get the full stared night sky and if you like photography you might get the milky way.
The decoration is also awesome, the living room is filled with old armoury: swards,elms,coats of armour,paintings, etc. The rooms are simple but coasy. Also you will be able to enjoy the swimming pool.
Finally, the staff. Verry friendly and nice and also egger to show you the place around.

Une bâtisse qui ne laisse pas indifférent. Un hôtel musée qui vous plonge dans l histoire de cette région et du Pays. Un lieu de villegiature idéal pour visiter Marvao, Portalegre, Castelo de Vide et la Serra de Sao Mamede à quelques kilomètres de l espagne (estramadura). Un lieu de retraite parfait ! Personnel très tres accueillant et serviable. Je recommande vivement. Belle découverte !

Lugar exquisito, edificio museo histórico, en plena naturaleza, pero cerca de Portoalegre. Prestando atención no es difícil llegar.
Las chicas que nos atendieron fueron muy amables y nos entendimos en "portuñol". Desayuno buenísimo. Habitación perfecta.

Excelente atendimento por parte das funcionárias, simpatia, profissionalismo e uma atenção especial a cada cliente. A classificação se 5 * é especial pelo atendimento, pois o espaço precisa de uma recuperação na área dos jardins e salão de jogos. Mais reafirmo a simpatia das funcionárias.

The property was beautiful; the high ceilings, the various rooms offered space to relax.Only thing I did not like was the hard pillow.

Muita história, enquadramento perfeito entre o imóvel(antigo convento) e a natureza.
Quartos espaçosos e limpos, pequeno almoço maravilhoso.

Tursimo Rural com excelentes condições. Um local cheio de história onde existe uma grande Oliveira que terá cerca de 2000 anos. Piscina com água de nascente.

Lugar maravilhoso onde se pode descansar com muita tranquilidade. Piscina com água de mina . Cidade de Portalegre pertinho.

Beautifully restored convent with some 15th century areas. Lovely pool with relaxing area especially appreciated on the hot day we were there. We were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the historic surroundings. Super nice.

A very quiet and comfortable place to stay away from it all. The woman in charge spoke very good English and was excited to tell us about the old monestary. She also gave a good recommendation for dinner which they do not provide.

Local muito tranquilo com uma belíssima localização para os amantes da natureza:) Muito acolhedor graças ao atendimento extramente atencioso e simpático.
Tem peças na decoração muito interessantes, fora do vulgar e muito bem tratadas, não ficasse o convento relativamente próximo de uma das maiores feiras de velharias do país - feira de Estremoz, todos os sábados de manhã:)
A rede wi-fi funciona bem e tem piscina o que no Verão é uma mais valia.

laccueil a été bienveillant. Un accueil à lécoute, les chambres très agréables , le décor impressionnant et chargé dhistoire. le petit déjeuner bien garni, dommage que nous nétions que de passage , la piscine était bien tentante.restauration à Portalegreadresse à retenir.

Travelling on my harley from santander to vale do lobo I decided to stay here I missed my. Turn in even with my expensive sat nav. But a nice local lady drove. Me to entrance its more of a track than road so I forgive my new navigation system love the character of the hotel ,,lovely friendly. Staff very helpful ! Its rustic charm in a country setting !H. A little way from the sightseeing places we wanted to visit but not too far and a truly excellent experience. An excellent lounge - like living in an antique shop. A very helpfull and friendly girl running the place. No restaurant for dinner but an excellent recommendation close by in the village.

Nos encantó el sitio y la decoración. La chimenea de la zona común fue lo que más nos gustó. Teníamos unos amigos que iban en autocaravana y el personal nos dejó que la aparcaran en el patio, al lado de la piscina. Todo un detalle

This place is amazing. Its only 10 minutes from Portalegre but is a beautiful oasis from the hustle and bustle of a city. The staff go out of their way to ensure that you have a relaxing stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The common rooms are filled with period pieces from the early Era of the convent.

Une suberbe villa construite â partir d une ancienne abaye, des espaces somptueux dédiés à la distraction : salle de ping pong , salle de jeux, séjours, terrasses, piscine...les pièces communes recueillent une belle collection d armures, de costumes traditionels, de lances et autres objets qui nous invitent à changer de siècle. On nous présente parfaitement la région, et chaque jour nous découvrons des petites attentions dans notre chambre .: gàteaux, porto...tout est parfait .!

I was delighted with the reception we received from the two staff who were in attendance. The room was splendid and the breakfast was first class. The even directed us to a local restaurant which looked after us very well.A lovely experience and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.Well done.

Situated in acres of wild flower meadows and woods,on the edge of the National Park, this very well rebuilt former Bishops house is the ultimate chill-out place for us. Very comfortable rooms with great views and lots of game room and pool facilities.Very helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. If you dont want to drive to Portalegre for dinner, they will produce an excellent meal and wine at a very fair price. Bit of a country house weekend feel about it. We will certainly return if visiting Portugal.
