The hotel was extremely nice, the rooms were very spacious with amazing bathrooms. The staff was also very courteous. The lobby on each of the room floors didnt have proper AC working hence it felt weird everytime we got off our lift, but the hotel is still very nice. Its a little far from the city center and you will need to take a cab everytime to travel to the main attractions, having said that Taxi in porto is super cheap hence this hotel is worth it.

This hotel is true to the Marriott family. It is very up to date, has great ambience and can be a haven for business or personal visits. Service was exceptional, check-in and check-out was easy and the hotel was spotless. The breakfast buffet is right up with the best in the business.

The hotel is a little bit far from the city centre. Rooms are OK but not insulated enough from other rooms. Water from shower was leaking on the floor. Noisy air conditioning. Good TV with lot of channels and Chromecast. Only one restaurant that was fully booked at lunch on Sunday the day of our departure without further information.

My experience on the Sheraton hotel Porto was very nice. The room was wonderful and the food (restaurant and room service) very good.
Serrvice like Spa, gymnase or connected TV are available.
I will try for sure an other experience with Sheraton's hotel.

Fuimos el día 31 de Diciembre y no había mucha gente. Pudimos disfrutar del spa, baño turco, sauna y zona de relajación. Realmente muy recomendable si quieres unas horas de desconexión y paz mental! El personal muy atento y servicial!

Un hotel très poussiéreux , des vitres pas lavées a plus d'un mètre soixante, le mobilier est abîmé les prises électriques dépasse, les robinets vous restent dans les mains et les caches métallique de stores vous tombent dessus . Heureusement le personnel est vraiment parfait! Nous avons fait 3 chambres. Aucune de parfaitement propre, pour un 5 étoiles dommage. ( Les photos sont prises après que le service de ménage soit revenu pour régler les soucis , nous avons eu 3 chambres au total .) J'ai beaucoup de mal a vous le recommander malgré le personnel qui essaie vraiment d'être agréable. L'hôtel donne l'impression d'un manque d'expérience que ce soit dans le ménage évidemment ou même la gestion de situation conflictuelle . Si c'était a refaire clairement nous irions au Crown Plaza Juste en face mais nous irions au restaurant du Sheraton tellement le personnel est compétent et adorable , et ou la perfection y est exigée comme nous avons pu le constater pour un simple problème de cuisson qui as été parfaitement gérer par le chef de salle . ( Le sommelier parle très bien français , connais parfaitement ses produits et saura vous conseiller avec une gentillesse inimitable ! )

Sehr freundliches Personal. Dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen, auch da das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück sehr gut ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut.

Mi estancia en este hotel ha dirado varios meses y ha sido una de las mejores de mi vida. Es moderno, muy bien situado, con una piscina increible y SPA, las habitaciones son impresionantes y el servicio es memorable, con gente muy bien entrenada para hacerte sentir como en casa. No dudo en recomendarselo a todo el que vaya a Oporto!

I am very lucky to have had the opportunity and experience to stay at many 5* luxury hotels around the world, especially Iconic hotels within London but with my stay at The Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa what stood out the most wasn't just the bright airy spacious design of the hotel but the friendly and welcoming staff from check-in, room service and the restaurant.

We had a nice 7-day stay at the Sheraton. The staff are very friendly and helpful, good food, great wine selection, and great craft beer selection as well. The spa is also very nice.
The hotel is a bit out of the way from downtown, but there are a few nice restaurants nearby, a supermarket across the main road, and the Europcar office is walking distance.
One minor issue is that we requested some hard pillows, but they didn't have any.

The hotel space for events, having a meal and the large rooms are extremely comfortable, modern and appealing to anyone. I had the honour to participate in an event at Sheraton and it was worth it in every aspect. Though prices can be tough and expensive if you are wanting to have the ultimate experience Sheraton is the hotel.

Great hotel with modern amenities. Comfortable “club” rooms on higher quieter floors. Service is excellent wherever you go. (restaurants, spa, fitness, bar...). Only 7 minutes away from the metro, very convient to get to the city center or airport. Ideal for a weekend break or even longer. Perfect for either leisure or business travel.

Great hotel, wonderful and accommodating staff, great rooms and overall fantastic place. The hotel is stylish and very comfortable. The Club Lounge was great. We loved the Jr Suite and the balcony. Location of hotel could be better for tourists as it requires a car ride to center city but minor point given how well you are treated.

Sehr gutes Hotel! Alles hat gepasst, man muss jedoch für das Spa 10€ zahlen, was uns verwundert hatte.
Mit einem Uber kommt man für ca 4€ in die Stadt. Metro etc. lohnt sich daher gar nicht.

O hotel tem instalações muito acolhedoras e aprazíveis. Porém, no momento do check-in nem todos os funcionários indicam, de forma correcta, todas as informações necessárias. No quarto, o ar condicionado é muito antiquado, na medida em que é difícil gerir temperaturas. Quando chegámos ao quarto, estava muito calor. Solicitámos resolução. Quando regressámos ao quarto, já estava muito frio. Aumentámos ligeiramente a temperatura e ficou, de novo, um calor exagerado. Para um hotel de 5*, o ar condicionado deveria ser melhorado, já que não têm (pelo menos o nosso) varandas/janelas com possibilidade de abertura. O valor do estacionamento foi-nos cobrado e não informado, bem como o período do pequeno-almoço indicado de forma incorrecta.
A zona da piscina/jacuzzi também poderia ser melhorada.
O valor do serviço de quarto é um pouco exagerado. Pedimos 2 iogurtes naturais e pagámos 6,00€. Parece-me um pouco exagerado, por certo.

O Spa é sem dúvida excelente, o local ideal para relaxar e disfrutar, das varias saunas 5, desde sal, ervas laranja, eucalipto, sala de relaxamento, ginásio, piscina com camas elevatórias, super confortáveis e de uma piscina de jacuzzi, com vários jactos... 5*.
As funcionários são super atensiosas, simpáticas e muito prestáveis sempre a repor gratuitamente sumos naturais, chá, agua.. Adorei

4 or 5 star experience.
PROS: Staying on the club level, you benefit from the club lounge (see my photos) which means you can help yourself to beers, soft drinks and snacks all day. There’s breakfast served in the club lounge as well which is not as good as the main breakfast provided in the restaurant but is adequate in case you can’t be bothered to go downstairs. The spa is so big and has many different rooms and is a must visit. There’s direct access from the club level to the spa via a special lift. The room itself was very clean and comfortable with a stylish bathroom. Staff were friendly and attentive.
CONS: The hot breakfast options could be improved in the club lounge (bacon in particular) and one of the rooms in the spa was not working properly. Location is not the best for a weekend break

Pessoal simpático e muito prestável, um ambiente imaculado e de extremo conforto, com uma grande sensação de segurança (só pode subir pelo elevador quem possua cartão do quarto, por exemplo).
O hotel está muito bem localizado.
O pequeno-almoço é ótimo.
O quarto é fantástico (excetuando o facto de não ter um espelho suficientemente próximo e com boa luz para a maquilhagem Eheh).

Stayed at the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa. The room overall was very good. But the shower door is not closed completely. There is water flowing outside when taking a shower and making the bathroom floor wet outside. The staff at the hotel are lovely. Service is good. Hotel breakfast is very boring. Because the menu is the same every day. I would like some menu changes And adding local food to breakfast as well

A great hotel if you get access to the spa which is excellent here.
The club level offers super bock beers all day as well as snacks. Breakfast is also served but the restaurant’s breakfast is much better. The staff here were very helpful and made our weekend stay very comfortable.
Location is in a nice area of Porto but a short taxi ride away from the main sights and nightlife.

I really liked the Sheraton Porto, but I must make special mention of Inez in the spa. My legs were aching and tired when I arrived and her leg and foot massage worked wonders. Jut as well, because Porto is a hilly city!

Great hotel, staff are amazing. Rooms are very nice with clean and original bathrooms. Beds are hard but depends on your liking. Nice bathrobes offered and even international channels on the TV. It is far from the core but take UBER and you will be in all the action. Some small things are a walkable distance like McDonald's , small cafes but not during the weekend. 15 minutes from the airport.

O Hotel é maravilhoso. Quartos aconchegantes e modernos, ginásio completo, SPA impecável. O atendimento desde o check in nota 10 em todos os sentidos.
Unico ponto fraco é a qualidade da comida. Tanto do restaurante, bar e lounge. Não parece em nada com a culinária portuguesa.

Wow, what an incredible hotel and spa. Not only is it the best Sheraton I've ever been to in the world (and I've been to a lot!), it's also the nicest spa I've ever visited.
The staff here are so, so friendly and kind. The spa has several saunas, a beautiful and clean pool, a jacuzzi, massages, steam rooms, and even amazing locker rooms.
It's also a great city to visit, and the all glass provides full visibility.
If you're visiting Porto, I'd strongly recommend this hotel.

will not recommend this and any Sheraton. Sheraton is too impersonal, too "smart".
e.g.: when we asked for another bottle of water, we got the answer: only 2 included per day in your arrangement. We stayed 5 daysand had maybe 4 bottles. This is a little thing, but shows well, how Sheraton thinks: Big US EBIT-optomized chain without soul. Can well do without it.
"Not recommend" cannot be chosen in the box below. Another example of what I just said.

Room was comfortable. Bed was nice, bathroom's big. The location is far from main attractions of Porto. Have to take taxi to center of activities in the town area. The doorman and concierges were friendly and helpful.

This Sheraton located in an immaculate, residential area of Porto, midway to the sea and the Ribera, allowed us to walk to either location or use public transport. It was quiet and elegant, providing beautiful outdoor space for relaxing and dining after a day of touring. The rooms/suite was one of the most spacious I have stayed in in Europe. The staff went above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.

From check in to check out everything was perfect. We received a suite upgrade as a Titanium member which was beautiful. The hotel itself is beautiful. Metro stop is close but not good location to walk to the city center. The metro is easy to use and less than a 10 minute walk. We would stay here again should we visit Porto in the future.

My daughter and I had an outstanding experience at the Porto Sheraton. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are exceedingly helpful. We were able to enjoy all of the facilities to the utmost, with top notch customer service. The hotel concierge went above and beyond to ensure that we got the most from our vacation in Porto, by recommending and booking relevant tours, and highlighting the best areas to explore. Excellent American hotel. This is both a complement and a detractor. I had been in Portugal and Spain for 10 days and was ready for service and amenities of "home". Absolutely provided. The hotel is not near the tourist center of Old Town Porto. An hour walk to both old town and the beach from the hotel. Note: the room service menu is different than the dining room menu -- would have preferred the room service menu to the restaurant menu but stayed in the restaurant.

Using the pool was for extra cost of 10€. With this room prizing it is ridiculous to charge extra for the pool. No advice of the wifi was given at the check in and I understood that you also had to pay extra for the wifi. Free wifi is available in most of the much lower class hotels. I don't see why they would need to charge for that..

The hotel, staff, and space are lovely and very modern. The area it is in is not that desirable. It’s fairly far from the city center and there is nothing to do or see nearby. The bedding is awful! The sheets are like sandpaper they are so rough. I had to put a t-shirt over the pillow case it was so bad. Also, the comforter was incredibly heavy and didn’t breath at all. Either you use is and are too hot, or you kick it off and are too cold. Neither me or my husband slept the three nights we stayed there. And after flying all night and being jet lagged, it made for three miserable nights during our stay in the lovely and amazing city of Porto.

Good property. Excellent fitness center and good breakfast. However the club lounge has terrible snack selection. It’s generally an assortment of 3 fried items every evening for the hot food. They would be better off offering healthier times like carrot sticks or sardines.

The staff at the front desk was curt and rigid. After a long day of travelling I woudl have been nice to be warmly received. Instead it was a very cold reception with little care for our business. Almost as if, the hotel is so upscale that they have forgotten the whole point of why they are in business.

ho soggiornato in questo hotel per 4 notti. l albergo è bello, moderno nell' estetica. non in posizione centrale , ma ben servito al centro da autobus che si fermano a pochi minuti di distanza. subito fuori dall uscita dell' autostrada, è adatto a chi è automunito e non deve entrare nel caos stradale di porto. nota dolente, per quanto riguarda la mia esperienza, sulla pulizia della camera. al mio arrivo 2 cuscini del letto erano sporchi con enormi macchie giallognole. idem x le lenzuola, anche loro sporche. abbiamo chiamato in reception e ci hanno subito mandato qualcuno a rifare il letto. inconcepibile per un albergo 5 stelle come lo sheraton

Had a really good experience at this hotel. It's clean and modern and offers a nice breakfast. I was upgraded to a club room which gave us access to some light snacks. The staff was very helpful and it's a nice hotel if you want to be a little out of the way and not in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Only complaint was that bed was somewhat hard for my taste.

As instalações são modernas e luxuosas, os quartos são espaçosos, com tudo necessário para uma boa estadia... Boa decoração e pormenores importantes proporcionam uma melhor experiência.
O staff é extremamente competente e profissional, sendo por norma, bastantes simpáticos, prestáveis e amigáveis no atendimento a todos os pedidos!
O preço é justo para o que é oferecido, havendo também uma grande panóplia de opções para melhorar a estadia, sendo as várias aconselháveis aquando da reserva.
Tem estacionamento à disposição, bastante importante uma vez que é uma zona muito movimentada da Invicta!
Sem dúvida um sítio a voltar e de referência quando se aborda os hotéis mais luxuosos do grande Porto!!!

Wow. One of the best experience I had in any Sheraton hotels I stayed so far. I stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are very comfortable and very nicely decorated. Bathrooms are absolutely stunning with large bathtubs and shower areas. Beds are supper comfy. Breakfast also too good with good selection of breads, fruits, cheese etc. They have live counter as well for omlets etc. Only thing I missed is swimming pool is not free for all the guests. You need to pay 10 euros extra per day to use it.

Terrible check out experience, staff proactively cheats you from your bonvoy points. Bonvoys you. No breakfast if you have early departure. The lounge is disgusting looking. The rooms even the suites have a heat problem and poor air conditioning.

Cuando llegamos tuvimos q esperar casi 2 horas para entrar en la habitación. Encontramos Un cuarto con algunas deficiencias en el cuarto de baño, plato de ducha abombado y lavabo con sistema de desagüe roto. Al día siguiente a las 4 de la tarde, aún, el servicio de habitaciones no había arreglado la habitación. Hemos notado una bajada de calidad en todo el hotel

Well, I was hesitant to stay here, being a long time Marriott client. But I trusted wifey.
I cannot emphasize enough how excellent this hotel is. It is modern and renovated. The rooms are light and spacious.
The staff is professional, informed and gracious. Very friendly, no exceptions.
On the first night we dined at the in-house restaurant. Wow...! I'm generally skeptical of hotel restaurants, but this was an exception!
The staff was unbelievably informed and friendly, and the food was spectacular! My wife is from Brazil, and I'm a foodie, and I can say it was exceptional!
You will not be disappointed in visiting this place for your stay in Porto!

From time to time I travel to Porto and I usually stay at Sheraton. It is a very nice hotel conveniently located in the more modern part of the city. While not really in the city centre it is conveniently close to a number of cultural / leisure attractions - Casa da Musica and Serralves - but also the business area of Av. Boavista. The hotel facilities are quite well maintained, it has a very nice restaurant (Porto Novo). The rooms are quite nice and comfortable.

Great hotel. Good gym and spa. Rooms are nice. Most impressive were the employees always attentive and willing to lend a hand. Staff is excellent and very hospitable. Only trouble was at checkout when the staff member ran the wrong credit card and said we had to call and go through accounting to reverse it. Then 5 mins later said he could reverse it himself (after realizing it was his own mistake for not verifying). Wish he would have been upfront, taken the initiative and just fixed it himself in the first place.

Fabulous stay. I highly recommend the following specific personnel: highly professional and caring Hotel Reception checkin/out staff, the mighty Concierge of Marcinio and Fabricio who provided information and took care of our excursions, the Porto Novo Restaurant staff ( servers, chefs, cooks, hostesses, cleaners, bussers, and everyone associated behind the scenes!) , the attentive and caring Executive Lounge personnel, the room maids and butlers ( everyone who serviced our room during our stay) who kept our room impeccable!, and the valet, porters, those at the lobby doors...who got us our taxi, carried our bags, etc. Thank you all for making our trip one that will be memorable.

We both loved the hotel. For our usual standards, it might not have been close to the center, but taxi was cheap and metro is near. The glass wall and interiors gave that touch of stylishness we have seen nowhere. Had different experiences with Mariott hotels but this was by far the best.

It was a terrible experience. We were told that we had to pay HK$100 (10 Euro) per guest per day to use the swimming pool! This is ridiculous and unbelievable for a 5 star hotel! I have never encountered such an absurd rule - particularly when the charge for use of the pool was not disclosed at the time of booking!! We chose the hotel knowing the location was not good but thought at the time that it at least had a pool! The breakfast was also not up to standard - certainly not that of a 5 star hotel. Overall, very disappointing!.

Long wait in the lobby to check in with a hungry and crying 3 month old. Had to wait for the crib to show up in the room. After over a half hour, I ended up going down to the lobby to get our luggage myself so that we could feed the baby.
Contacted the manager who said that they would look into it and get back to us. Never heard anything else.

Superior service from the extraordinary staff, this is an ideal venue for business. It is a little bit out of the way for the central historic district by foot, but it is a 10 minute/6-& Euro cab ride away, and a Metro stop is right down the street.

The Sheraton in Porto Portugal is a wonderful experience. The staff, the hotel, and all the amentias will make your stay an memorable experience. Only drawback a bit out of the way. Definitely a first Choice!!!

Cet hôtel est très bien par sa propreté et son design. Il est cependant légèrement excentré mais comme la plupart des hôtels de cette gamme à Porto. Mon seul regret est que les employés ne parlent pas le français.

Sehr modernes und stilvolles Hotel mit einer sehr großen Glasfront und einer großen Lobby. Das Hotel macht einen sehr gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Bei der Gästestruktur ist kein Trend zu einer bestimmten Nationalität - ausser Portugiesen ;-) - erkennbar. Geschäftsleute und Touristen scheinen sich als Gäste die Waage zu halten. Der Zimmerpreis erscheint sehr günstig, die Preise in Restaurant, Bar und Minibar sind allerdings hoch, beim Essen (Bar & Restaurant) eher angemessen bis hoch, bei den Getränken überteuert.
Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig in einer Seitenstrasse zu einer großen Hauptstrasse. Das Taxi ins Zentrum und zum Flughafen steht stets bereit, jeweils ca. 20-25 Euro.
Die mittelgroßen Zimmer sind eingerichtet mit modernen, dunklen Holzmöbeln in sehr guten Zustand und für meinen Geschmack optisch sehr ansprechend. Der Kleiderschrank ist beleuchtet und nicht sonderlich groß, aber für eine Person ausreichend. Die leistungsfähige Klimaanlage verrichtet leise und gut einstellbar den Dienst. Eine Flachbildfernseher ist an der Wand montiert mit den üblichen News-Programmen (CNN & Co.). Das gläserne Badezimmer ist sehr gelungen und mit Telefon, Badewanne, Dusche (separat abgetrennt), Bidet und Toilette (separat abgetrennt) und natürlich einem Waschbecken ausgestattet. Durch eine Jalousie kann die Sicht durch die große Scheibe ins Badezimmer geschlossen werden. Minibar ist vorhanden, Balkon ist nicht vorhanden.
Bereits bei der Ankunft zeigen die Hotelpagen, dass man in diesem Sheraton auf Service bedacht ist, vom Öffnen der Taxi-Türe bis zur Beförderung des Gepäcks. Der sehr gute Service setzt sich an der Rezeption fort und macht auch an der Bar und im Restaurant nicht halt. Unauffällig sorgt das beflissene Personal für das persönliche Wohlbefinden. Englischkenntnisse sind Standard. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Es ist ein Restaurant und eine Bar vorhanden. Das Restaurant scheint eher wenig besucht, die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut. Auch in der Bar können kleinere Essen bestellt werden, die Preise sind auch hier hoch. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist reichlich und lecker, der Service flink und unaufdringlich.

Hospitality at its best. From the minute we arrived Miguel Santos helped us with our bags immediately and was courteous all the way up to our room. Reception was prompt and professional as well. Our room was spacious and classic on its look. They had a large party the Saturday night we were there I we seriously thought it was across the street since we couldn’t hear anything from our room. Highly recommend anyone to stay here. When I’m Porto again we will definitely stay again.

Excelente hotel, sobretudo no capítulo do pessoal - muitíssimo simpático, atento, competente, disponível. As suites do 12º andar têm uma varanda magnífica. Em baixo, no piso de entrada, há uma zona de trabalho onde é possível escrever e imprimir.
O designer de camas podia ser despedido.

Stayed one night in June, very nice, big "congress" kind of hotel. Everything worked prefectly, breakfast was excellent, room quiet and spacious, bathroom clean and with good lightning.
Location is far from city center and attractions, so taxi is needed if you want to go to old town and restaurants.

We stayed at the hotel 4 nights. We were very lucky to meet Claudia Freitas from the hotel guest services that went out of her way to accommodate to all our needs and make sure that we had a magnificent stay. Sometimes all you need is one person that can change and influence the entire experience.
We were upgraded to an executive suite that was specious and very comfortable and was kept extremely clean all day.
The only concerns we had was regarding the lounge: there is no designated hotel staff member at the lounge and when we visited the lounge on several occasions, the tables were full of dirty dishes and there was no place to sit, Food was left on the buffet for long hours , not refrigerated . So the overall experience at the lounge was disappointing and we avoided going there which is quite unfortunate.
The spa was a great experience, very clean and well maintained.
As this was our first visit to Porto we needed assistance and the concierge service was excellent. Very patient, friendly and extremely knowledgeable
