Remarkable lodgings in a location and setting unlike anything else I've ever seen. The owners and staff were exceptional, so warm, friendly and accommodating. The houses are unique, very comfortable, and ecologically designed and operated as a bonus. We had everything we needed and more, and were introduced, via the lodgings, food, and staff, to the local culture. The Nature Houses could be a Portugal destination on their own, particularly for hikers and cyclists.

Een leuk huisje midden in de natuur. Kindvriendelijk! We hadden een ontbijt geboekt voor 3 dagen voor 2 personen. We kregen de eerste ochtend een welgevulde ontbijtmand met veel lekkers... de andere twee dagen erna kregen we niets, enkel op aanvraag. Hier werd ons helaas 60€ voor aangerekend. Pedro is op de hoogte van ons misgenoegen maar zonder enig effect... Ontbijt kan je best in het stadje eten of lekker vers brood van de bakker bestellen elke ochtend.

Pedro and Sofia are the perfect hosts in addition of having built an amazing and beautiful place. We stayed 2 nights there and had a lovely time close to nature :)

Amazing place and food. The rural area is breathtaking. Very nice and quite in March. Great service. This place serve both goat and pork and they really have the knowlege how to cook it aswell. Of course slow cooked, the pork in white wine and the goat with red wine. Recommended if you are visiting this restaurant.
